He was at home and had Jongdae and Baekhyun over he was doing the laundry when Baekhyun noticed some of your clothes so he took the opportunity to tease his hyung

“Hey that y/n clothes did she make you do her laundry now,” baekhyun said teasing

“Umm yes I’m doing my laundry and I saw she left some of her dirty clothes here from the last time she stayed over so I’m cleaning it” Minseok replied unbothered

“What else does she get you doing for her? Do you buy her pads too?” Baek asked again laughing now jongdae laughing as well

“Yes I have gone to get her some of her pads why is that funny Jongdae I know you have done the same or worse,” Minseok said rolling his eyes and smiling

“Eww I will never do that it will be so embarrassing,” Baek said making gagging noises

“I will be the one laughing when it’s you that does that,” Minseok said as he walked up to the laundry room.

Miseok didn’t mind doing your laundry because he knew you did him as well, he was just being the sweet boyfriend he is and didn’t care if his members made fun of him.

Junmyeon:

He was in London with the boys for a concert and they had a few days off so they went to explore when they got to a jewelry store junmyeon saw some earrings that thought would look good on you so he went and purchased them.

“Hyung why is y/n wearing my favorite jacket? I was supposed to use it tonight I’m going out with some friends and that jacket goes perfectly with my outfit tell her to give it back” Sehun said in a whiny tone

“Sorry but she got it first you can use any other jacket you like though,” Lay said smiling

“Oh come on if it was any of the other guys you would have asked them to take it off why does she get a free pass that’s so unfair,” Sehun said annoyed

The guys were at the mall buying new clothes and Chanyeol noticed that Baekhyun had a lot of matching clothes and he automatically knew who the other clothes were for.

“Aww that’s cute I remember you said that you will never be the type of couple,” Yeol said giggling

“Oh, you know just making fun of you, since when did you become whipped?” Kyungsoo asked

Chanyeol:

Everyone knows he’s whipped he writes music about you but that’s what the boys know what they don’t is that his car and house are full of your stuff. You don’t live together but someone who didn’t know you guys would think that you do. Chanyeol makes sure he haves your toothbrush, hair products, and skincare products at his place in his car he haves hair ties and your fave lipgloss, and when the guys found out they were laughing their asses off.

“WOW Chanyeol you are something else you have everything you need for your girl that’s cute,” Sehun said as he got out of the car

“Wait till you see his bathroom he has her favorite hand soap, her skincare, and other stupid girl stuff,” Baekhyun said slapping Sehun back

“Ewww she has you so whipped,” Jongin said clapping his hands

“He’s so whipped he does everything she asks him to. If she wants him to carry her purse he will it’s cute but gross” Baekhyun said as he made kissing sounds

Junmyeon was hanging out with Sehun and he noticed how you were scolding him for making a mess and not cleaning up after himself he apologized and kissed you and even made Aegyo for you he thought it was funny and cute he didn’t know Sehun had this soft side. he knew by the way he looked at you that he was so in love that he was whipped for you so what did Junmyeon do? He teased him.

“Aww Jagiya sorry I’ll clean up don’t be angry,” Junmyeon said trying to mock him

it was always like this, every single day, 24/7 - bickering was now considered a background noise whenever you and kyungsoo were at the gym at the same time.

i mean, kyungsoo was a really great fighter and an amazing teacher, you could admit that, but he was also the most annoying person you have ever met.

"what did i do now, kyungsoo?", you asked with a sigh.

"you're really cleaning up the mess your kids left behind?", he said, a playful smirk on his face. "discipline is part of what we teach, y/n, you should let them do it themselves."

you rolled your eyes, picking up the last towel from the ground and getting up to face kyungsoo. he had his arms crossed against his chest, his black belt tied firmly around his slim waist.

"and you should worry about your students, not mine", you fake smiled at him. "should i remind you i got three kids wanting to be transferred to my class because you were an asshole with them?"

"they're softies just like you", it was his time to roll his eyes. "taehyun couldn't even learn how to kick properly."

"so? all of my other kids can do it."

you scoffed, even though you weren't a bit surprised by his behavior. you just passed by him, getting back to what truly mattered: cleaning up the room so the next class (kyungsoo's class) could start.

"i still don't get why you act like that with them", kyungsoo kept going though.

"cause i'm a great teacher and i respect their timing."

"wow, you're wrong two times in that sentence, that's a new record!"

"i'm not a great teacher?"

"well, you're a teacher, that's for sure", the bastard chuckled. "but you're a better fighter though..."

you hummed in response, folding your last towel and sighing one more time.

"you wanna know why?"

"honestly? no, i don't", you replied, turning around to look at him. "i have had a headache since the moment i woke up this morning and you didn't let me be for a goddamn second. can you please save this conversation for tomorrow?"

kyungsoo frowned, relaxing his arms. "headache?"

"yeah. you're gonna complain about that too?"

you sighed in relief when kyungsoo just murmured a tiny 'idiot' and finally walked away towards the back of the gym, leaving you alone to finish your tasks.

it truly didn't take long until his students started to arrive, a few of them greeting you before taking a seat on the floor, just like kyungsoo taught them to do it so they could wait for him.

the moment you finished what you were doing was the moment kyungsoo appeared for his class. you walked away to let him do his work, frowning when he said "check your locker" as you passed him by. so you went to the locker room, meeting and greeting some other teachers there.

to your surprise, you found your locker unlocked. you pulled it open to find a bottle of painkillers - the one you've always seen kyungsoo taking - and a little note, which you took it between your fingers so you could read better.

"take two of these, it should help you with your headache. go eat something too, and if it doesn't get better, i already texted minseok hyung saying i could take your other classes for the day. rest! don't make me say it twice. see you at my place tonight! - kyungsoo ♥ (:"

at that, you smiled - sincerely, this time. perhaps kyungsoo was as good of a boyfriend as he was of a teacher.

Summary: When Minseok agreed to let Sehun stay in his guest room to risk the rest of the group catching the flu, he didn't realize Sehun would deem his cat public enemy #1.

Notes: I wrote this years ago for an entirely different fandom, but recently rediscovered and repurposed it. It's just fluff.

“Minseok-hyung?” 

Minseok’s ears perked up at the sound of his name, and he couldn’t help smiling as he abandoned his laundry to check on his temporary roommate. He’d gotten a call from a very frazzled Junmyeon last night: “Hey hyung, I need a favor. Sehun got diagnosed with the flu, and since you’ve already had it this year, can you keep him at your house?” The phrasing of ‘can you keep him’ had made Minseok laugh, which Junmyeon did NOT appreciate in the moment as he was trying to field a very delirious Sehun, a worried Jongin who wanted nothing more than to hug all over Sehun, an anxious Kyungsoo whose germaphobia was working extra hours, and a worked up Chanyeol who hated seeing everyone upset but couldn’t figure out how to help. So Minseok apologized for laughing and drove extra quick over to the dorm majority of the group still shared, taking one problem off of Junmyeon’s hands.  

Not that Minseok minded at all; Sehun had always been one of the easier members to monitor while sick. Fevers made him sleepy, and a sleepy Sehun listened to direction much easier than a coherent one. He didn’t fight Minseok when he offered medicine, never disagreed on eating or drinking water or changing into fresh clothes. All Sehun wanted to do was lay in bed and occasionally cuddle. He let himself be cared for, and Minseok couldn’t complain about that. 

This usual ease, of course, was interrupted by the presence of Minseok’s cat. On normal occasions, Sehun coexisted with Tan, definitely more of a dog person, but not against cats. Now, however, something in Sehun’s flu-addled brain had decided that since Tan wasn’t Vivi, he was a danger to society. He’d get upset and whiny the minute the cat appeared in his room, and Minseok had figured it was just easier to keep them separated after Tan had snuck into the guest room and started batting Sehun’s shoes, which were on the floor and no where near the younger man. That had still somehow upset him to the point of tears, so Minseok enforced separation for the maknae and the cat. Sehun had finally been able to calm down and fall back asleep two hours ago. 

“What’s up?” the older man asked, peaking his head into the bedroom. His eyes immediately met the sight of Tan curled into a ball on a grumpy looking Sehun’s stomach. “Awwww!”

“It’s not cute, hyung,” the younger man insisted. 

“It’s like he’s protecting you!”

“It’s not cute, hyung!” Sehun repeated with more conviction. 

“Are you kidding? It’s adorable!” Minseok exclaimed, pulling his phone from his pocket and snapping a picture. 

“Minseokie! Please just get him off,” Sehun pleaded, digging the heels of his hands into his eyes. “The last thing I need right now is your cat going ballistic and scratching my face off.” 

The older man scoffed. “Tannie would never. He has perfect manners.” Still, he stepped forward and scooped Tan up into his arms. The cat gave a meow of protest. “See? He likes you.”

“No he doesn’t. He’s faking it,” Sehun replied, stifling a cough into his sleeve. 

“That’s not true. Tan, don’t you like Sehun?” Marco addressed the cat, who, for his part, didn’t change in any way, shape, or form. “I think that means yes.” 

“And I think it’s a cat and therefore incapable of human speech or thought outside of hatred,” Sehun replied plainly. Minseok rolled his eyes.

“Not true. Cats can sense when people don’t feel well and need extra love. Tannie literally didn’t leave my side when I was sick two weeks ago.” 

“I think he’s brainwashed you.” 

“Says the man who has clearly been brainwashed by his dog.”

“Leave Vivi out of this. He’s perfect and a gentleman.” 

“You’re so dramatic,” the older man laughed, scratching Tan’s head affectionately.

“And you’re on your way to becoming a crazy cat lady when you grow up,” Sehun quipped in response before doubling over with three rapid sneezes. “Hitcch! Itchu! Hi-ichu!” 

Tan mewed nosily, his eyes glued on Sehun as he groaned and fell back against his pillow. He cracked one eye open to glare back at the cat. “What?” he croaked defiantly at the small animal. Tan’s tail flicked back and forth, staring intently. 

“See, Hunnie? He really is worried about you,” Minseok said with a smile, letting Tan back on the bed. The cat immediately jumped on Sehun’s stomach and stalked up his torso until he was staring him straight in the face. Tan proceeded to softly lick Sehun’s forehead three times before retreating and curling into a ball once again in the middle of his abdomen. Sehun watched the cat with wide eyes, then looked back at Minseok with the most pitiful of expressions. 

“Hyung, you’re cat’s confusing,” he whined, stifling another cough into his fist. 

Minseok smiled. “So are you, but you don’t see me complaining.”

Two hours later, Minseok peeked his head into the guest room. “Sehun…” He trailed off, silently reaching for his phone again. Tan was still curled up next to Sehun, finally off of his stomach but still right next to it. And Sehun’s fingers were curled in the cat’s fur, as if he’d fallen asleep petting him. Which he probably had; there was no way this was a coincidence. When Minseok’s camera clicked, Tan’s head popped up. He mewed softly at him. Minseok tiptoed into the room and gently scratched the cat’s head, scared that Tan would get up and follow him if he didn’t provide a few good pets. 

“You’re such a good boy, Tan,” Minseok cooed softly. “Protecting our Sehunnie.” The cat gave another tiny mew in agreement, rubbing his head against his owner’s hand. As soon as he moved away, Tan stood up, stretched his back, and moved closer to Sehun, rubbing his head against the man’s chest and rolling onto his back, completely supported by Sehun’s torso. Minseok choked back a laugh and snapped another picture. 

“Be nice, now. He’s sleeping,” he whispered, a hint of chastisement in his voice that was completely ignored by the cat. For his part, Tan meowed, rubbing his head against Sehun again. Minseok shook his head. 

“I don’t get why he doesn’t like you.”

Another hour later, Minseok opened the door with the intent of waking Sehun up. He hadn’t eaten anything in twelve hours, which wasn’t good for him, and if he didn’t get more meds into him soon, Sehun would end up a delirious mess again and Minseok didn’t want that for him. But upon entering the room, Minseok found that he didn’t need to wake the younger man up. Sehun was already awake, sitting with his legs in a butterfly, Tan curled in his lap. Minseok could hear the cat purring from the doorway.

It took Sehun a moment after the door opened to look up at Minseok. He pointed to Tan. “I like him.”

Minseok snorted. “Oh, do you now?”

A/N: Thank you for that request it was very fun to write (after all who wouldn't be happy to have two cute guys fighting over you aksk) I hope you'll be satisfied with this and that you'll like the "plotwist"~

You had always been a huge league of legends fan, since the beginning of the game really, and following the e-sport scene since it really started. So when T1 (well, SKT back when you started) had come up to you and asked to be one of their streamers, you clearly didn't took a long time to accept the offer.

The day you had started, your followers were ecstatic, after all you had always been a huge T1 supporter and this was just a dream come true to you. Over the years now being inside the industry and close to the players you had became friends with all the different people that had player for T1 alongside other teams but nowadays the one you were hanging out with the most was Keria, after all the two of you shared a same enjoyment for Kpop and whenever you could you would just go out to buy kpop merch together.

Unbeknownst to you, but a certain Unkillable Demon King was jealous of this friendship. He knew you for the longest time and yes, maybe he had nourished a small crush on you throughout all the years you had become friends and seeing you hang out with the young support. So he decided that tonight after your stream, the two of you would go eat hotpot. He had texted you his plan, making sure that you wouldn't get whisked away last-minute by Minseok. Naturally you had accepted his offer, after all hotpot was one of your favourite food and in this season it was always welcomed.

Later that night as you cleaned up your streaming room Sanghyeok opened the door with his usual slightly awkward smile.

"Ready? Let's go eat."

You took your backpack, chuckling at his excitement, whenever it was about eating hotpot, Faker was basically becoming as excited as a puppy. The two of you walked out of the headquarters of T1 and headed to a restaurant nearby that Sanghyeok was stopping by pretty often. The owner was always happy to see Sanghyeok and there was a private "area" where she often put him and whomever was coming for privacy. You were starving and you definitely were going to eat like a king, ordering a whole lot of food and when everything was laid out on the table you couldn't help but take a picture, posting it on Instagram and tagging Sanghyeok.

Keria, who had your notifications turned on, immediately clicked on the story and he couldn't help but feel jealousy take over his soul and he wondered if the two of you were on a date, but he quickly shook off the idea away from his head, surely if it was an actual date you wouldn't broadcast it to your whole audience.

And just like that, both Minseok and Sanghyeok were fighting for your attention and trying to impress you. There was a few times where Sanghyeok had been doing his best to impress you by displaying his cooking skills, even feeding you some whilst he was cooking. Minseok on the other hand was bringing you signed items by your favourite idols, or ticket concerts that you could attend together. A few times, on separate occasions, the both of them had been barging in during your streaming sessions, keen on showing off something to you.

"Hyung you gotta see this! I had a new idea and it works perfectly let me show you!", Minseok had promptly dragged you away from your computer, luckily for him you had just been discussing with your audience so it was fine and you weren't missing anything important.

He explained to you excitedly this new idea he had and showed it off to you. You praised him, messing up his hair in affection. And when you set back in your seat, you couldn't help but grin at your audience.

"Honestly, everyone should be scared of Keria, he's a little genius. He's going to eat everyone this year."

" (Y/N)-ah. I need you to taste this.", this time it was Sanghyeok. You turned your chair to face him, keeping an eye on the game that was happening, opening your mouth as he fed you a spoon of whatever he was cooking. Your eyes widened and your tore your gaze away from the screen as you chewed on the food.

"Wa... It's so delicious hyung! Please put some aside for me!", Sanghyeok's chest puffed up in pride due to your compliment.

As this happened one too many times the two men were "scolded" by management, effectively putting an end to the almost daily interruption in order to show off to you, to your fans' greatest sadness, after all they really enjoyed seeing players of T1's League roster stopping by your stream for random interactions.

The atmosphere in the team was kind of different now that Minseok and Sanghyeok were competing for your affections and the scrims were definitely more intense, after all both of them wanted bragging rights when seeing you.

Those days, though, it was hard for them to meet with you, training was taking all of their time. But after two weeks of not being able to see each other you were finally able to coordinate a dinner with the whole team. To the rest of the team's greatest entertainment Sanghyeok and Minseok had tried their best to look conspicuous to have a seat facing you for Sanghyeok and seating to your right was Minseok.

In the end, Keria had been the one who had accidentally discovered that you weren't single. He had been trotting over to your streaming room, you weren't streaming today but you had come up to do some work on your PC so you were there and he was eager to see you, he had brought some albums he had desperately been wanting to open but in his terms you were his "good luck charm" so he wanted to maximise his chances to pull his bias (really an excuse to spend time with you).

He thought he was hearing muffled speaking as he approached your door, but really you enjoyed speaking to yourself so it wouldn't be surprising if you were alone. Only, right after he knocked and stepped into the room he froze because, on the ground with his hair disheveled, t-shirt off and sporting a very clear blush was Sky. You didn't look much better than him and Keria couldn't even get himself to admire your pretty well built torso as you quickly put back on some clothing. Minseok looked at you, but you couldn’t quite figure out what that look meant. It was getting too late already and no one had said anything to Jongdae or even looked at his texts.

“Yeah, okay, he totally would be upset, I’m not dumb! But once he sees all of that he will at least smile, yeah?”

“The fact that you are constantly trying to verify it speaks volumes. Look, Y/N, your intentions were good, but I’m afraid I would have to say I told you so,” Minseok shook his head.

You definitely hate a disappointed Minseok more than anything, but you know Jongdae will like this surprise. Somewhere deep inside you there’s still hope.

The five of you continued to help set the food when Sehun came in with the neon lights and a flower projector you hadn’t asked for, but it was Baekhyun who brought it. He had seen it for a music video that was being filmed in the building and stole it once they finished. It gave off the right vibe and surprisingly complemented the neon lights.

Once the lights were set, Chanyeol sent you a text asking if it was time to take Jongdae to the party. He had been asking him and Jongin to go for some drinks for the past twenty minutes, and he was running out of excuses.

“Surprise!” All of you shouted when Jongdae walked in.

The look on his face calmed every anxious thought you had and you could finally smile easily. Jongdae was jumping up and down looking around at how beautiful the room looked. All of the members ran to hug him and you stayed back, marveling at the love all of them share and the happiness that sparkled in Jongdae’s eyes.

Jongdae thanked all of his members and looked at you as he walked closer. His smile was so wide that it warmed you up just to know he was happily oblivious to all of the hard work that was put into this surprise party. Every little bad thing was forgotten now, the present was all that you expected it to be and more.

“This was your doing, wasn’t it?” Jongdae asked.

“Everyone helped.”

“But you are the mastermind. You even get our leader to follow your orders. Thank you so much, Y/N! What would I do without you? What would any of us do?” He hugged you tight, and it didn’t seem he would let go any time soon.

“Happy birthday, Jongdae!”

Sicktember Day 14: Clean Sheets/Fresh Pajamas

Minseok woke up to a cool, gentle hand pressed against his cheek. He peeled his eyes open to find Junmyeon kneeling next to him.

“Hey, hyung.” The hand moved to his hair. Minseok hummed, acknowledging his friend, before his eyes closed again. “How are you feeling?”

“Bad.” His voice felt like it was coming from somewhere else. It was too quiet, too hoarse and feeble to be his own. 

Junmyeon hummed at that, his hand scratching softly against Minseok’s cheek. “I know, love. But we’re here now. We’ve got you.” He gently pulled the comforter back, much to Minseok’s dismay, a small moan of distress escaping his throat. The leader frowned in sympathy, moving as fast as possible without jostling the older man too much, completely stripping the covers from his body. “I know, it’s cold out here, but we gotta get you out of this bed. Come on, we’ve got a bath ready for you.” Minseok squinted up at him, lips parting once, twice, as if he wanted to ask a question. But that question kept winking in and our of his brain. Junmyeon, ever patient, at least with his Minseokie-hyung, smiling encouragingly. “Everyone’s here, love. We’re here for you. Let us help.” He held out both hands, and Minseok accepted them. Once on his feet, despite his knees quaking like jello, Minseok seemed the slightest bit more coherent, leaning only slightly against Junmyeon as the leader led him towards the bathroom. 

Chanyeol was waiting inside, bathtub already filled with water that was gently steaming. Minseok nodded, as if having a conversation with himself, as he slowly attempted to slip his shirt off. His arms were shaking too much, and after three attempts of letting him try on his own, Junmyeon stepped in, swiftly but tenderly undoing the buttons on his pajama top and pulling it off. The leader made eye contact, waiting for a nod from Minseok before helping him slip out of his pants and guiding him towards the tub. 

Once in the tub, the warm water enveloping his aching body, Minseok’s eyes slipped closed again. Another small sound escaped him, this one of contentment, as Chanyeol’s fingers began to work through his hair. 

The rapper chuckled, the noise deep and comforting. “You sound like Tobin,” he joked. Minseok smiled at that. “I have better behavior, though.” His voice still sounded so alien to his ears. 

Chanyeol laughed again, comforted by his hyung’s joke. “There’s no doubt about that.” Minseok smirked to himself, his body melting under the rapper’s strong, careful hands. As the aching tension left his muscles, his mind began to wander down paths he couldn’t even begin to follow if he wanted to. 

Minseok was snapped back to reality when he heard the bathroom door open, footsteps crossing the tiles towards them. He knew a hand dipped into the water by the small splash and the feeling of the ripples against his ribs. That hand reached for his below the water, fingers interlacing together as said hand was brought to rest on the lip of the tub. Minseok relaxed instantly. Jongdae. 

“How is he?” the vocalist whispered. Minseok considered telling him that he could hear just fine and could answer for himself. But that thought was quickly muddled in the haze of warmth created by the fever and the bath. 

“He cracked a joke earlier, so that’s gotta count for something,” Chanyeol relayed. “But his skin’s on fire still.” His fingers were still working through Minseok’s hair, and the elder knew they had to be close to done. Either that or his sense of time was totally fucked. 

“What happened when you and Baekhyun got here earlier?” 

“He was already back in bed when we showed up. When Baek went looking for the thermometer, he found a post-it note next to the Nyquil with a time on it, so at least we knew he was medicated and not concussed. The cats were not pleased with us, though. Ron kept following his around, and Tan’s tail was doing that fast back and forth thing. I think they’re really worried about him.”

Jongdae hummed, his thumb rubbing back and forth across Minseok’s knuckles. “Damn, hyung. Even got your cats’ all wound up. You don’t do anything by halves, do you?” Minseok shook his head, and he heard both Jongdae and Chanyeol chuckle softly. 

Minseok wasn’t sure how he got out of the bath, mind once again lost on a hazy adventure, but it must’ve gone incredibly smooth given that Chanyeol and Jongdae were still having a completely normal conversation when he tuned back into the present, wrapped in a towel with clothes held in front of his face. 

“You want help getting dressed?” Chanyeol asked gently. Minseok nodded. His limbs felt a little less shaky now, but he knew better than to fully trust them right now. He was, however, much more successful at getting dressed on his own than he had been disrobing earlier. 

The clothes now on his body, though, were setting off alarm bells in his brain. 

“These aren’t mine,” Minseok mumbled, pulling at the hem of the t-shirt. 

“Yes they are. Your old ones are in the laundry, or at least they will be soon. I don’t know how productive the guys were since we’ve been with you,” Jongdae replied, smoothing his hands over Minseok’s arms. 

“But…” He pulled at the hem of the shirt again. “This is just a t-shirt.” 

“Is there a problem with that?” Jongdae was trying very hard not to laugh. Minseok shrugged. Jongdae looked to Chanyeol for an assist. 

“Would it change your mind if I told you I brought you one of my hoodies?” the taller man asked. Minseok’s eyes widened a bit as he nodded with more energy then they’d seen out of him yet. “Okay, be right back. It’s the light blue, hyung, your favorite.” Jongdae continued to rub his hands up and down Minseok’s arms as they waited. 

“How are you feeling?”

Minseok shrugged again, still playing with the hem of his shirt. “Weird. Everything feels… cloudy.” Jongdae frowned sympathetically, one hand carding through the older man’s bangs. 

Chanyeol barreled into the doorway, holding up the hoodie triumphantly. Minseok gasped excitedly, taking the soft material in his hands. Without asking, or being asked, Jongdae helped him slip the hoodie over his head. Chanyeol smiled, watching his hyung practically melt with joy at the comfort of the sweater. He held out a hand, and Minseok took it without hesitation, letting himself be led wherever Chanyeol had in mind. 

Which was back into his bedroom. Where the bed had been entirely stripped down to the mattress. Minseok blinked.

Jongin appeared at his side (how did he move so fast?) “Hyung, don’t panic! We’re washing your sheets for you!” The dancer’s grip on Minseok’s arm grounded him back to reality. 

"We couldn’t find your extra sheets, though,” Sehun admitted. “So we figured we could move you to the couch for a bit, until the laundry’s done. Or the guest room…”

“No, couch, cause he has to eat, and Minseokie-hyung doesn’t like it when we eat in bed, so I doubt he’d do it himself,” Jongin interrupted, shooting a look at Sehun. The younger man held up his arms in surrender. 

Minseok did not fully remember how he got from his bedroom to the living room. He did not remember Chanyeol catching him when his knees giving out halfway there, nor how Sehun had swooped to his other side and helped carry him to the couch. He did not remember Baekhyun hugging him before the others could stop him, the vocalist refusing to leave until Minseok was settled on the couch and wrapped under Baekhyun’s own favorite blanket. He did not remember Jongdae slipping in behind him on the couch, nor Jongin slipping him one of his favorite stuffed bears.

In fact, the next thing he was fully aware of was sitting on his couch, snuggled safe in Jongdae’s arms, buried in Chanyeol’s hoodie and Baekhyun’s blanket, Jongin’s plushie tucked next to him, Kyungsoo busy in his kitchen, the house kept in order by Junmyeon and Sehun. At the sudden realization of his members’ love physically engulfing him, Minseok felt a radiant sense of warmth that made his chest ache in a way that quieted the pains of the flu. 

“Why?” he asked quietly, almost to himself. 

“Why what, love?” Jongdae, the only one close enough to hear, threaded his fingers through Minseok’s hair, smoothing from his forehead to behind his ears. 

“Why are you all doing this?” 

Jongdae chuckled softly. “Because we love you, dummy.”

“Seriously. You take care of us all the time.” Minseok started at Junmyeon’s voice, unaware that the room had gone silent and all eyes were now turned to him. “Why wouldn’t we return the favor?”

“And your clean freak immune system is usually too strong for us to return the favor, so we have to jump on any opportunity we get,” Chanyeol added. 

“Yeah, you scared us pretty good, too, hyung,” Baekhyun added with a slight shake of his head. “Do you remember Yeollie calling you? After rehearsal?” It was Minseok’s turn to shake his head. “When the rest of us went to practice straight from the airport, and the managers brought you straight here, Chanyeol and I called to check on you during our lunch break. You passed out on us. Like, went from vertical to horizontal passed out.” 

Minseok’s brow furrowed at that. “I… what?”

“Not the time for creative word play, hyung.” Kyungsoo nudged Baekhyun’s shoulder. “You fainted, Minseokie-hyung. And these two heard it happen. So we all raced over here.” 

“Oh.” He did not remember that. He felt that he should at least remember waking up on the floor. How long ago had… Maybe it didn’t matter anymore. “I’m so sorry…”

“Please don’t apologize, hyung. Do you know how many times you’ve literally scraped me off the floor?” Jongin interrupted. 

“Or sat up with me in the bathroom after I drank too much?” Chanyeol added. 

“Or stripped our beds and forced us into the shower when we were sweaty and gross?” Kyungsoo listed. 

“Or remembered to bring the exact medicines any of us need before we’ve even told you we aren’t feeling well?”Junmyeon smiled. 

“Or…”

“Okay, that’s enough.” Jongdae cut Sehun off when he noticed Minseok’s eyes fill with tears before he covered them with his hands. The younger vocalist’s hands rubbed at his shoulders. “Hey, hey now. No tears. You’re already dehydrated.” 

Minseok’s hands fell to his sides. “Then stop being so nice to me and making me cry.”

“Okay, heard loud and clear. Everyone go back to being mean,” Junmyeon announced, hands on his hips. That earned as many chuckles as it did eye rolls. 

“Thank you.” Minseok’s voice was still foreign to his own ears, still weak and raspy, but it spoke volumes to the people around him. “All of you.” 

“Can I hug him now?” Baekhyun asked. 

“Not if I get there first!” Jongin moved fast as lightening, toppling on top of Minseok and Jongdae. Baekhyun latched on before they’d evened out from Jongin, and Chanyeol joined on top of that, despite Kyungsoo and Junmyeon both calling that they weren’t being careful at all. Even though the crush of his members piled on top of him definitely hurt his ailing body, Minseok had never felt safer, more loved, in his entire life.
