For just $15.00 RiverDog Lures hand made poplar lure, this is the Big Perch pattern. Large freshwater game round these parts love to chomp on a yellow perch, and that's why I've designed these big bad boys. The Big Perch comes in two flavors: 6 Inch Perch: These are hefty for a good ballast and throw, weighing in at an average of 1.8 oz per lure. Built to be a top water lure, for a "walk the dog" retrieve or work it back faster with a jerky motion to really trigger a strike from a leviathan of the fresh water, when they're not showing a lot of enthusiasm, The 6 Inch Perch has a size 6/0 hook at the tail dressed up with a teaser, along with a 3/0 circle hook at the center. Heavy duty hardware means any size fish will be landed. I've put in my strip[er hardware for these beauties so no worries there. This bait will stand up to a monster. 5 Inch Perch: The 5 inch Perch weighs in at 1.5 oz, and is designed to be a glider bait, slowly sinking into the drink to swim down to where the big fish are. If they dont come to the top, sometimes, we need to get down to them, and thats what the 5 Inch Perch is built to do. Dressed out with a single 6/0 muskie trailer hook with a teaser. Again ,substantial hardware in this little darling tough enough for surfcasting but designed for fresh waters nastier predator species. Both flavors feature a dual coating of super strong epoxy finish, with a just a bit of flaked sparkle for added visibility and eye appeal. This is a great pattern I'll definitely be making more of in different sizes, grab these big boys now as this is a limited run! Try one of my lures, and you'll be hooked.

For just $12.00 RiverDog Lures "Depth Charge" stickbaits, fresh off the drying rack and ready to fish. I've built these specifically for striper fishing in the tidal rivers, these are sinking, lipless stickbaits. Here's the specs and some notes for use of this lipless stick bait: Length: 4 inch body Width at widest point: 1 inch Weight: 1.25 oz Hook: 6/0 Muskie single trailer hook at tail with white bucktail w/ blue flash streamer Hardware: dual 1.25 inch muskie closed eye eyescrews ( front & back), large cup washer on rear connection for additional strength. If you get a 45 pounder on this bad boy, you will get that fish to shore. I've built these to handle Moby, should the good fortune occur. This lure is built crazy tough for a lil feller. There are times when the fish just arent going to hit the top, we have to go into the water after them. That's why I made the Depth Charge. This bait is weighted substantially so it will slowly sink into the briny depths to be twitched and jerked back once you've got to the depth you want. Work it like you would a hammertail jig of roughly the same size, then you're in the right neighborhood. Single 6/0 hook at tail position means you can get this fishie into some structure with some hope of getting it back out, bounce it off the rocks, get it into the pockets, and work your puppet show. I have four of these available, brand new design Im hoping to do more of in the near future. The current patterns I have are marked as such in the photos: Depth Charge 1 (sold, I'll make more...) Depth Charge 2 Depth Charge 3 Depth Charge 4 Depth Charge 5 (mackerel finish) 1 through 3 are identical body types, with some minor finish differences as shown in pictures. Number 4 and 5 have a bit of a different body, sort of a "turkeyslap" on steroids, if you will, but otherwise same specs.

For just $10.00 Riverdog Lures "Turkey-Slap-1"pattern, 3.5 inch twitchbait / jerkbait, 3/4 inch wide at widest point. Hand carved poplar, weighted for a good throw at 0.5 oz. Lipless design, tricked out with a small nickel finish spoon at hook dressing for added ruckus on the top of the water. Dressed out with #2 dual hook at tail with green flash / silver streamer. Dual hooks face up, so you catch fish and not lily pads. Heavier than most of your store bought topwater baits, this jerkbait will cast a country mile and make a ruckus on the top of the water when played back. Head hangs down into the water a bit to create a commotion on a faster retrieve. I have three options available, one is a light green and yellow with red perch pattern with white belly, the other is what I like to call a "disco spatter zombie" pattern, with white belly. The third is a red newt zombie pattern. Try one of my lures, and you'll be hooked.
