It's so annoying and hurt that we queer people we Are attacked on daily basis by homophobic , transphobia .No cares about us we tried to raise up our voices

Maybe we can be evacuated from this horrible place but it's all in vain so please kindly requesting who ever see this post reach to those are in concern and them about our situation of we LGBTQIA people here in refugee camp

Hello. Hope you are well. We are a small group of lesbian asylum seekers in the Kakuma Refugee Camp located in Kenya, Africa.

We are 15 lesbians and 22 Children. We suffer extreme homophobic living conditions and have very few resources.

We experience homophobic and transphobic violent attacks and degrading treatments. Many of us have suffered sexual assaults and rape by groups of men and have had unwanted pregnancies and lack basic need items for our babies such as milk, diapers,clothings etc.

We suffer physical beatings from our fellow refugees and host community.we are denied medical treatment, We are persecuted on a daily basis.

We are discriminated in many cases and lack therapeutic counselling services. Our children suffer alot ie bullied, violently attacked, and denied education.

Therefore we would request for a private school sponsorship for the children where they can't be identified in kakuma town outside the camp

Groups of homophobic men and women have attempted to murder our community members by setting off petrol bombs while we are sleeping. In their attempts to burn us alive and burn down our shelters,

We have limited humanitarian relief resources from the unhcr,namely food,water etc. Many of us do not have shelters and sleep outside with our children because we lack shelter and other personal care items such as sanitary pads,underwear,clothings toillateries,nets,brankets and mattresses.

We are inquiring to ask if you would be willing to assist us in building a resource program to help us and our children in our survival. We are interested in pursuing being the recipients of USA grants or donor funding. We are organized on the ground in teams of women for medical care, food,education and personal items.
