"i  didn't  know  being  honest  means  being  a  dork  these  days."  minjun  says,  shaking  his  head  with  a  sheepish  smile.  "happens  to  the  best  of  us."  he  shrugs,  able  to  relate  all  too  easily  to  the  experience  of  falling  for  someone  at  the  wrong  time.  "well,  well  —  aren't  you  lucky,  'cause  i'm  the  most  unproblematic  man  that  i  know  of,  and  i  happen  to  know  a  lot  of  people."  he  boasts,  perhaps  slightly  exaggerating,  though  he  doubts  any  of  his  friends  would  disagree  wholeheartedly.  "it's  just  ice  cream."  he  shrugs,  but  they  both  know  that  it  is  the  companionship  that  counts,  and  that's  what  best  friends  are  for,  right?  he  ignores  the  strange  heaviness  in  his  chest  every  time  he  watches  her  fall  for  someone  that  he  knows  to  be  wrong  for  her.  "bet  it  tastes  better  when  you're  with  the  bundle  of  joy  that  is  me,  though,  no  doubt."  he’s  just  being  silly,  but  if  it’s  what  it  takes  to  bring  back  her  smiles,  he’d  make  peace  with  being  called  a  dork.
