The call for entries for the 21st edition of Tirana International Film Festival 2023 is still open! Tirana International Film Festival is accredited as a qualifying festival from the AMPAS - Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the European Film Academy to be nominated for the Best Short Film, which will be eligible for the Oscar® Awards and the Best European Short Film for the European Film Awards. The officially selected Student films at TIFF are eligible to compete and apply for the Student Academy Awards® (SAA). Festival accepts submissions in all running times, genres, topics, style and production technologies and in the following categories: Fiction/Live Action, Animation, Documentary, Experimental and Video Art. Films in competition must have been completed after January 2022. All films in competition must be an Albanian premiere. Entries must be submitted by May 23, 2023. You may submit your films through our online platforms: FilmFreeway, Shortfilmdepot and Festhome. TIFF offers exclusive discounted pricing for FilmFreeway Gold members. Tema globale e CreativeMornings për muajin korrik është SPIRITUALITY, rreth së cilës do të flitet në 224 qytetet në botë, që aplikojnë këtë projekt prej vitit 2008. Në Tiranë kemi ftuar Jimena Lujan, e cila do të ndajë me ne eksperiencën e saj kreative rreth kësaj teme. “Për mua, spiritualiteti është mënyra në të cilën çdo person mund të lidhet me veten në mënyrë që të rritet në një plan tjetër përtej atij fizik. Lidhja me veten dhe me gjithçka. Pas një krize mbarëbotërore; Ndryshimet që i është dashur të kapërcejë i gjithë vendi për t'u përshtatur me realitetin e ri, shqiptarët kanë luftuar për të mbajtur harmoninë dhe ekuilibrin mes mendjes dhe shpirtit të tyre. Mendjet tona janë pushtuar aq shumë, saqë spiritualiteti është si parazgjedhje kompensimi. Është spiranca që i bën pjesët tona delikate të lulëzojnë dhe zgjohen në mënyrë që lidhja e të gjithëve me mjedisin tonë dhe me ata që na rrethojnë të çojë në një gjendje bashkëjetese më të lartë dhe më të frytshme. Spiritualiteti dhe kreativiteti shkojnë dorë për dore. Rrënja e krijimtarisë nuk është truri, është shpirti ynë. Është një shprehje e Vetes sonë të vërtetë, e asaj që është brenda nesh, e asaj që jemi. Kreativiteti është shprehja, dalja e përvojave brenda jush, për të cilat mund të mos e dini se janë aty. Kur relaksoni mendjen, shfaqet kreativiteti dhe ju mbështet për të zgjidhur situatat ose për të improvizuar në situata të vështira. Tema globale e CreativeMornings për muajin qershor është WILDERNESS, rreth së cilës do të flitet në 224 qytetet në botë, që aplikojnë këtë projekt prej vitit 2008. Në Tiranë kemi ftuar arkitektin dhe kuratorin Valerio Perna, i cili do të ndajë me ne eksperiencën e tij kreative rreth kësaj teme. "Edhe pse sot është shumë e vështirë ta gjesh atë në një formë të pastër në mjedisin urban bashkëkohor, nga këndvështrimi im personal dhe profesional, koncepti WILDERNESS është një ide e fortë, që mund të merret parasysh kur bëhet fjalë për nxitjen e dizajnit inovativ dhe proçeseve krijuese. Mes shumë përshkrimeve të tij, më pëlqen ai që e kategorizon atë si sistemin e zonave të braktisura dhe të neglizhuara në mjedisin tonë urban, sepse na jep mundësinë, si arkitektë dhe krijues të rinj, t'i shohim ato si materiale të mundshme projektimi për të ardhmen e qyteteve tona.” Valerio Perna (Romë, 1988) është arkitekt dhe PhD në “Arkitekturë – Teori dhe Dizajn” diplomuar në Universitetin Sapienza të Romës. Gjatë kësaj periudhe, ai ka qenë Studiues i Ftuar në AUAS Amsterdam dhe ka dhënë mësim në disa universitete në Iran, Suedi dhe Shqipëri. Aktualisht është i punësuar në Universitetin POLIS, ku është koordinator i INNOVATION_Factory (IF) dhe Drejtues i Qendrës Kërkimore në Arkitekturë, Inxhinieri dhe Dizajn.
