Making worlds is not limited to humans. We know that beavers reshape streams as they make dams, canals, and lodges; in fact, all organisms make ecological living places, altering earth, air, and water. Without the ability to make workable living arrangements, species would die out. In the process, each organism changes everyone’s world. Bacteria made our oxygen atmosphere, and plants help maintain it. Plants live on land because fungi made soil by digesting rocks. As these examples suggest, world-making projects can overlap, allowing room for more than one species. Humans, too, have always been involved in multispecies world making. Fire was a tool for early humans not just to cook but also to burn the landscape, encouraging edible bulbs and grasses that attracted animals for hunting. Humans shape multispecies worlds when our living arrangements make room for other species. This is not just a matter of crops, livestock, and pets. Pines, with their associated fungal partners, often flourish in landscapes burned by humans; pines and fungi work together to take advantage of bright open spaces and exposed mineral soils. Humans, pines, and fungi make living arrangements simultaneously for themselves and for others: multispecies worlds.

Hey my dear mutual! Another super stupid and weird request coming, so, please, feel totally free to ignore completely if you want, really. So, let's say instead of a criminal organization, the Akatsuki are actually a lab team. Which would be their roles, their work focus or their research topics? How would they behave at work with each other or, I don't know, whatever you can think of. Inspired by your agar plates post, by the way, hahahaha
Hello Sasuke, my dear. Don't call your asks weird, I love how creative they are! If anyone wants to write a fic about this please TAG me!
Big thanks to @the-real-sasuke-uchiha for requesting!
The Akatsuki in a modern research lab AU
Akatsuki Labs, Inc. No one knows what they're actually researching, and how they get their funding, however everyone hires them, they're incredibly popular with institutions and businesses alike...
Deidara is a lab rookie who is still at the beginning of his study. He went to a scientific high school and an absolute ace at chemistry. Besides studying chemistry, his other major is pyrotechnical engineering. He blows shit up on the regular and even adds copper sulphate to fires when he is the one supposed to put them out. He frequently steals minerals from the lab to use them for his pottery projects. And yes, he knows how to make meth.
Hidan is on his way to become a neurologist. He is fascinated by the way the nervous system works (especially while processing pain) and has the ego of a neurosurgeon twice his age. However he is regularly asked for a second opinion because he knows his shit. He's pretty popular with the ladies due to his confidence, however many of them are freaked out when they find out what a huge masochist he is.
I've never seen Itachi as a huge stem guy, but I've actually had a discussion about this with my dear moots @pet-plasma-bubble and @suki91 and came to the conclusion that he's either a plant biologist or studies medicine because he's one of these kids with a chronic and/or underdiagnosed illness going into medicine to make a change. Plant biologist!Itachi regularly talks to his plants when no one is looking and he gives them names as well. He doesn't really care much for the actual lab work and prefers to take care of the plants in the different lab greenhouses. Med student!Itachi is one of these anatomy girlies who draw their stuff in fancy colors and actually enjoy studying human anatomy.
Kakuzu is a senior scientist/professor who initially studied pharmacology/pharmacy to save many lives and prolong the lives of millions, but eventually got disillusioned and sold his soul to the pharma industry. He should technically be retired now, but he joined the Akatsuki labs inc to make some money on the side.
Kisame started out as a marine biologist specializing in shark research, however, seeing these beautiful, innocent creatures get bastardized by Hollywood and pollution made him apply to Akatsuki labs inc to help find solutions to the current crises caused by humanity. During his free time, he volunteers in a dolphin rehabilitation center.
Konan is the cofounder of Akatsuki labs inc, everyone respects her and even looks up to her. Once a brilliant scientist in the field of engineering, she got tired of how male dominated it was and how her male colleagues kept getting the credit for her ideas. She frequently holds lab courses for young girls interested going into the scientific field.
Nagato is the Akatsuki labs founder, and rarely seen in the lab. He has made himself a name in the field of robotics by inventing the Shurado robotics system which helps millions of automated machines run to this day. Rarely seen in the lab, he communicated with his employees via his Pain Alias Email. though to be fair, Konan writes most of these emails for him; she's the only one regularly talking to him face-to-face.
Orochimaru is a geneticist and biochemist, his focus being finding ways to avoid cellular decay, as well as the human genome and anti aging research. His parents are academics as well and he lived up to their expectations to the fullest. He has his own skincare formula which keeps him looking snatched at all times. Given the rumors about several scientific ethical code violations, everyone is kinda scared of him except for his personal lab tech, Kabuto.
Sasori is a renowed mortician who's also very interested in histology. His preparation techniques are unmatched and he even invented new preparation- and histological staining methods, which are called "Red Sand" and "Red Technique", respectively. He often gets into fights with Kakuzu about his microtome collection being unnecessarily expensive.
Tobi is the Akatsuki labs CEO cosplaying as a clueless intern that always steals from the candy bowl in the waiting room. In reality, he has a PHD in physics, his thesis being about rifts in space time and interdimensional interactions, however all of his papers are published under an alias. He has a soft spot for Deidara and refuses to fire him despite the latter's frequent "accidents".
Zetsu is a biological anthropologist fascinated by human evolution and human behavior. Some think even his colleagues are subjects of his studies. Some people say he's two-faced, but he is very chatty and inquisitive most of the time. He volunteered to have Itachi's venus fly traps in his office and can sometimes be seen feeding them dead flies or mosquitoes.

Excerpt from this story from Canary Media:
The Grain Belt Express, a $7 billion transmission line project that’s been more than a decade in development, has won conditional approval for a $4.9 billion federal loan guarantee.
The Grain Belt Express could enable 5 gigawatts’ worth of affordable, clean power to be developed on the windswept and sun-soaked Kansas plains and then delivered to customers in Missouri, Illinois, and broader eastern U.S. power markets. If finalized, the federal backing would help push the sorely needed transmission project over the finish line.
The proposed loan guarantee is the latest in a string of Biden administration actions aimed at bolstering the U.S. power grid. The country needs to rapidly build high-voltage transmission lines in order to accommodate new solar and wind power, reduce grid congestion that’s driving up electricity rates, and improve power system reliability in the face of extreme weather events.
Whether the Grain Belt Express will be able to make use of this financial support is unclear, however. Last week’s conditional commitment from the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office (LPO) may ultimately depend on whether the Trump administration decides to follow through with it.
The LPO has played a major role in the Biden administration’s clean energy agenda, announcing about $37 billion in loans and loan guarantees over the past four years. Recipients include electric vehicle and battery factories; battery mineral mining, processing, and recycling facilities; distributed solar and battery deployments; EV charging projects; makers of alternative aviation fuels; clean-hydrogen production plants;and the owner of a shuttered nuclear power plant in Michigan that hopes to restart it.
Roughly $25 billion of those commitments have yet to be finalized and contracted by the DOE, according to a late November tally from Politico. The LPO has been sprinting to complete these contracts in case the incoming Trump administration opts to freeze any in-progress loan agreements.
Many of the projects backed by the LPO are in Republican congressional districts, Politico reported. That includes the Grain Belt Express, which plans to use its conditional loan guarantee to finance the first phase of its 5-gigawatt high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission line — a 578-mile stretch from southwestern Kansas to Missouri.

Came across another example...
"Electric vehicles are not the solution!"
"Yes, I really wish we could focus more on trains and public transportation."
"Mining for battery materials hurts the environment more than fossil fuels!"
"Oh."
EVs are *part* of the solution. There are going to be people who insist on driving their own vehicle. Not to mention public transport is not always viable for disabled folks. And even if we were building trains and public transportation infrastructure, that is a multi-decade project.
But the laser focus on EVs is very disappointing. We need trains and buses and more trains and let's throw in a few more trains for good measure.
Thomas knows what I'm talking about...
Tumblr media
EVs are definitely better than ICE vehicles. And if we can build a renewable charging infrastructure by installing more solar on homes and near charging stations, while also reducing our reliance on coal power plants, EVs can be a decent part of the solution.
But the mining argument is silly. How do people think we get coal and oil? Have people not seen the effects of fracking? Mining for rare earth elements is fraught with issues currently. But pretty much every problem is mirrored in the extraction of fossil fuels. I guess we are just used to coal miners sacrificing their lungs and residents dealing with fracking faucets of fiery doom.
Tumblr media
Some reciepts...
The effects of mining coal in Columbia. The consquences of mountaintop mining. The health impacts of fracking. The health impacts of oil spills in Niger.
The thing is... once we burn fossil fuels... that's it.
We gotta go extract more.
Whereas almost everything in a lithium battery can be recycled.
Zack (JerryRigEverything) did a tour of a recycling plant. And unlike some other things we recycle with poor results, batteries are well suited to the process.
youtube
Should EVs be our sole focus for transportation?
No. Trains, trains, and more trains.
Are they better than ICE?
In most areas, yes. And hopefully in all areas in the near future.
Are there issues with the mining process?
Yes. Tragic and terrible issues.
Does fossil fuel extraction have basically all of those same issues?
Also, yes.
However, smart people are already trying to solve the impacts of rare earth mining. I don't know if we can ever make it a perfectly humane, low impact process. But we can certainly improve circumstances substantially. And the stuff that is mined will not just be set on fire and pumped into the air. It will be reused again and again.
NUANCE!

Hey Tahyal, I hope you’ve been good! For some time now I’ve been struggling with my gut health. I went to see the doctor and found out I had Hpylori and took antibiotics for it (this was a year ago).
I’m still struggling with gut problems and as a result am facing foggy brain, fatigue, stomach aches, excessive gas and bloating! I don’t want to take antibiotics bc the side effects are too much! I was wondering if you have any advice/tips and/or solutions to gut health? How can I make my gut strong?
Hi! Ive been well thank you 🥰
Ugh gut health issues are definitely one the most complex to resolve, I understand your frustration.
You’ll want to tackle this both from the physical and emotional front : do you have any unprocessed emotions? Do you allow yourself to take up space in the world? Is there any underlying shame or insecurity you might be dealing with ? How do you receive life? How do you digest your environment (including people) ?
The gut is where we process our external world, and also our center from which we project ourselves, it has a lot to do with (genuine) confidence and the ability to be at ease in your body and in the world. If you have the tendency to ruminate or overthink a lot (spending a lot of time in your head), this can greatly affect the way you digest not only your food but your life.
Find a practice that combines movement and mindfulness, and use that time to reconnect with your body, listen to its messages, and build a relationship of trust with it. As the voice of your intuition gets clearer you will naturally be lead to certain foods and habits that will benefit you specifically. Limit the external input of content/information, and sit in silence more often, spend time in nature, hold space for stillness.
I won’t recommend any diet or supplement because I don’t know enough details about your condition, but generally making sure you are properly nourished is important : protein carbs and fats every 4 hours if you can, and I recommend animal sources of protein above plant ones. Simply because they are the most complete and bio-available. Notice how your body reacts when you eat certain foods, and temporarily or permanently eliminate what doesn’t feel good / what inflames you. Replenish minerals by drinking coconut water, bone broths, nettle tea, and eating fruits.
Here are some resources that Ive personally used and learned a lot from regarding gut health and the mind body connection :
- Jessica Ash’s Nourished circle course (She drops a collection of videos every month about gut health, female hormones, and bioenergetics)
- The emotion code by Dr Bradley Nelson
- Ravenstarshealingroom blog (the articles on gut health)
- Kori Meloy on instagram
-Niecia Nelson (iamaltar on instagram)
I wish you radiant health 🤍, don’t hesitate if you have more questions.

is there a possibility to make a furry witch oc fitting in your lore?👀 got very inspired!!
Absolutley! The main theme of my setting is that anyone can be a witch. There is no basic requirments other than willingness to open your eyes to the magical world. You can see, smell, hear and interact with normally invisible spirits of different strength. They are creatures of pure will, and can shape themselves however they see fit, often reflecting their own good or bad experiences and interactions with the real world. To use basic magic, you ask favors of spirits (in exchange for something), or process magic materials (like plants, metals and minerals). Well established witches can learn to astrally project their souls to go to the spirit world.
Most importantly witches can be sponsored by or adopt a spirit patron that can be called upon for instant magic. Most of my witches have or are close to a spirit of some kind. It's very much like having a group of Pokemon with different abilities, one of which likes to follow you around contantly. Magic is either using a spirits natural powers or asking a favor. A ritual to clean your house would be more like calling a spirit cleaning company, who probably hire spirits that can suck up dirt like a living vacuum. I could write pages of information, but at the end of the day a witch in my setting is a person who hangs out with spirits and can do cool things by working with them.

Tel Aviv serves as a coordinating point in a globally-integrated imperial project with dizzying financial and demographic porousness. The money generated from the purchase of settlement feta cheese in a Marina Del Ray Costco helps to finance the dispossession machines of the Jordan Valley, where the Israeli dairy conglomerate Tnuva operates a food processing plant. Former Israeli soldiers recruited into New York private equity firms make tax-deductible contributions to the 501(c)(3)-designated charitable non-profit ‘Friends of the Israeli Defence Forces’ to support the army that protects their second homes. Laundered billions stream in from Zionist mining extraction in Guinea and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, while the mineral magnates flee to Israel to avoid international sanctions. This is the story of all colonialisms: settlers build their tall, shiny things on the embers of the societies they torch, enlist the dispossessed into production and maintenance, export the spoils and bury their guilt in their families, splaying out on the terraces, declaring themselves home at last.

What are Dimensions, which one are we in; human evolution, and its relationship with Astrology and Higher Octave 🌌🤍✨
Tumblr media
Dimensions are separations generated by the immense differences in frequency that things and people vibrate.
Have you heard of energy and how, depending on the place and the person, as well as our thoughts and emotions, everything changes? That's how it is with Dimensions.
Dimensions do not necessarily represent physical locations, although they often symbolize a difference from the place where we are
(for example, right now we are on Earth, a planet that necessarily exists in the 3rd dimension, but despite this, some people on this 3D planet are already beginning to vibrate at a frequency of the 5th dimension and beyond).
With that said, we can understand that you are not the dimension you are in, but the frequency you vibrate.
As frequency changes, we often need to take care of it so as not to get lost and even reduce or remain in a lower dimension, which is not beneficial to us or those around us. Below is a brief understanding of what the dimensions are:
The first dimension
is the dimension of the "hardest" matter, but not in the sense of inferiority or density, because in this dimension we have important components that constitute food for life, in addition to "artifacts" of very high vibration (like crystals). In this dimension, we have minerals, rocks, and crystals. These things also coexist in the third dimension, in part, and their energetic matrix is of the first dimension.
The second dimension
is the dimension of plants. Other living beings are incredibly energy amplifiers and often capable of cleansing through the process of attracting energies from other beings and environments. They are sensitive but also strong with elevated frequency and vibration. Plants also coexist with the third dimension, in part, but their energetic matrix is of the 2nd dimension.
The third dimension
is the dimension of matter, where we have physical and earthly experiences. Because it is a dimension where experiences occur, it is a dimension with a frequency largely determined by the average beings who coexist there. Earth is a planet of the 3rd dimension, and its frequency changes according to the actions of its inhabitants, who are human beings, that is, us, for the most part, in addition to animals. Thus, what often determines the frequency of our beloved Mother Earth is humanity. The third dimension is characterized by vibrating much in lower patterns, because it deals with the initial learning experiences of the individual (it does not mean it's about the first incarnations, but rather initial learnings that the Being has not yet been taken by). Due to the strong characteristic of the Ego that ends up prevailing over other points that would matter more, the 3D is a dimension that ends up navigating much more in difficult patterns than in elevated ones.
The fourth dimension
is the dimension of the astral world. Think of a vast corner where there is room for everything you can imagine happening. It is where many beings who pass away live/stay, and it is a place where we see emotions, memories, records of traumas, fears, and also positive emotions and beneficial emotional experiences, where they are kept, recorded. It is where our spirit lives.
Paty, why are you saying that our spirit is there?
I'm saying this because there is a certain sense of separation between the physical body and the spirit (that's why when many project astral, it's as if they literally leave the physical and only transit in the astral world).
However, the separation only exists for some reasons that in the 3D we have a lot of difficulty in integrating the experiences of our spirit (Soul) with ease and, therefore, it could be very difficult to deal with the awareness that our Soul has with the immense tendency of low frequency that a 3D tends to have. In the end, everything is integrated, and the separation occurred because we became the "oil" and that's why the water (spirit) needed to be in a more separate dimension, waiting for our (re)connection, especially when we had cleaned the density of our oil, so that it could come into free contact with the water and unify with it, as it always has been and as it should be. Just an analogy for you to better understand.
Fifth dimension:
is the dimension of consciousness, where there is no separation but integration between what the Being is and what needs to improve. It is the dimension of the search for evolution. It is the dimension of the awareness that everything material is transitory and that eternity resides in the Soul, with its eternal free will to choose how to evolve.
It is the dimension that many beings incarnated here on Earth are already vibrating, even if they are not actually there, they already vibrate at this frequency and therefore remain many moments, they are already being contacted by beings of 5th dimensional frequencies and others higher exactly to serve as a channel for the transmission of knowledge to support others who have not yet found themselves and who are on paths of pain.
It is in this dimension that we detach ourselves from imposed patterns, limiting beliefs, we begin to see that each individual has tendencies of body, emotions and thoughts that reflect exactly his Soul and his desires and current patterns, that each person has an appearance according to their own desires and history of Soul, we value individuality and collectivity.
In this dimension, the Ego begins to be dissolved to make room for a sense that we do not need to compete, because there can be room for everyone if we release unnecessary excess and attachment, which, as we have already said, are based on things that are totally transient but when removed to the point of generating situations where people have nothing and others have much, bring deep suffering, anger, resentments, and marks that reflect for lives and lives. The fifth dimension is the dimension of consciousness expansion.
Sixth dimension:
A much deeper dimension, which is so subtle that things there occur through colors, tones, languages of Light where nothing physical is necessary to feel the manifestations of things. It is the dimension of consciousness that has full control of itself and needs nothing more than its own notion of its depth and wholeness. Some beings, even if they are in the 3D, travel to the 6D when they sleep because their consciousness already vibrates in this energy! Even if they oscillate in this vibration (since vibrating more negatively is not the person's standard, of course), if they vibrate in 6D, they can visit this dimension when they sleep.
Seventh dimension:
is the dimension of pure creativity, of the Power to Create that exists in every individual. It is the plane where the individual still lives and perceives himself as one, does not see himself separated from the other in a pejorative way but is indeed a single consciousness, individualized. However, this is the last dimension where this occurs. Because in others, the Being who reaches them will understand things from the lens that we are literally all One, living in this Unity.
Eighth dimension:
is the dimension of group consciousness. everything is done as a group. the spirit deals with group situations and seeks ascension and evolution of the Whole, its focus in this dimension is exactly this.
Ninth dimension:
It is the place where the consciousness of everything gathers, from the consciousness of planets to galaxies (Yes, all of this has consciousness. Earth, called Gaia or Mother Earth, is a living organism and has consciousness. It is so deep, wide, and vital, has its own language, and is managed by beings of high dimensions, like the ninth above it).
In this dimension, a person feels so expansive that they literally encompass everything around them. It's as if in this dimension, you are the mind of a galaxy, containing all forms of life and celestial bodies. The next dimensions, namely the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth dimensions, represent stages of Creation, let's see:
Tenth dimension:
In the 10th dimension, we find the source of Cosmic Rays (often associated with the Masters of the White Brotherhood), where new plans of creation are conceived and then sent to the next stages. Although we can maintain a sense of "self" at this level, it is different from what we are accustomed to in the third dimension. The 11th dimension holds a deep energy of Expectation, Optimism, and Hope, like the moment before creation, full of anticipation. To understand the energy that permeates this dimension, think of the moment before a sneeze or an orgasm (just an example, not implying that these events lead us to this dimension). The 11th dimension is associated with beings like Metatron and other Archangels. There are Akashic records in this system, ranging from planetary to galactic Akashic records.
Twelfth dimension:
It represents the point where all consciousness perceives itself as a part of everything that exists, without any separation. If we can access this level, we would feel completely united with the universe and the creative force behind it. This encounter profoundly transforms our perception, as once we experience this perfect unity, it's difficult to maintain the same level of separation we had before.
From all this, we can perceive that the dimensions from the 3rd to the 12th represent, ultimately, the levels of evolution we can reach and need to achieve.
Ultimately, Unity and the sense that We Are All One is the purpose, the focus, the goal, and the very means to solve all the issues we currently face in this earthly experience…
All the competitiveness, the endless and unattainable pursuit to "prove" something to others, whether through material goods, money, body, appearance, status, or through social media wanting to propagate ideas like "I'm happier than you, envy me," even though everything we do is far from what true happiness is…
The goal of EVERY Soul is to evolve and, from that, become aware that there is no superiority or inferiority, but rather unity in the pursuit of the common good. This is something quite difficult for the human mind currently living on Earth to integrate easily, but it is indeed possible, and many are beginning to understand this!
If we pause to look at this from an astrological perspective, all of this reflects the Age of Aquarius and the advent of a greater interest in Higher Octave matters, purposes beyond the individual.
The discovery of Higher Octave planets such as Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto, and their perfect resonance with our personality,
is a way for the Cosmos, the Universe, to help us begin to integrate the importance of evolving from the individual to the collective, yet continuing to evolve!
It's important to remember that discussing the Age of Aquarius does not make natives of the Aquarius sign superior to other beings of different solar signs, nor does it make them necessarily special because it's the Age of Aquarius.
Any personal distinction in the collective journey of the Aquarian Age will come from the actions and choices of the individual, not from being of a certain sign.
The Ages represent the purest qualities of the signs.
People will subvert and manifest, as we see here and there, both the good and bad characteristics of the signs. All with their free will.
Therefore, there is no superiority due to being in the Age of Aquarius, just as there was none in the Age of Pisces, Aries, or any other sign.

Based on the mythical salamanders; the prongs on its shoulders emulate a second pair of arms - EFRETAMA Title - Charcoal wyvern Monster class - Fanged wyvern Known locales - Outskirts of volcanic regions and miasmic wastelands, with occasional forays to desert regions Element/ailment - Fire + Effluvium Elemental weakness - Water (3), Ice (2), Dragon (1), Fire (0), Thunder (0) Ailment weakness - Stun (3), Paralysis (2), Poison (2), Sleep (1), Blast (0) Efretama is a fanged wyvern typically found roaming miasmic deposits or the outskirts of volcanic regions, with some individuals migrating to deserts. It is distinguished by the bold crimson and black colouring, as well as its bone-like protrusions and the split tail. The physical tail is actually at the base; the two flexible projections are a specialised muscle growth that contains excess miasma from Efretama's metabolic waste. Efretama use the two shovel-like prongs on its lower jaw to dig up resilient vegetation, feeding on various roots, tubers and nuts. They excel at finding the hardy plants that eke out a living in volcanic environments, and supplement their diet with various minerals, including combustible variants. Efretama is relatively passive, unconcerned with any humans passing by. Field researchers can operate peacefully in its proximity, so long as they stay within the fanged wyvern's field of vision. Should Efretama get too close, field researchers can use aromatic sprays to irritate its sense of smell and coerce it to retreat. Should it be threatened by predators, Efretama can usually rely on its prongs to dissuade attack, protecting its neck with armoured scutes. If the attacker persists, Efretama will regurtitate the combusitable minerals it has ingested and ignite them with a specialised organ in its mouth. The resulting blasts of flame are intense, leaving thick clouds of ash behind. This ash is then used as a smokescreen, disguising Efretama's movements as it either continues to fight back or retreats. Additionally, the twin tails, which are actually muscular projections from the true tail forming the base, are loaded with miasmic reserves that release choking clouds of flesh-eating bacteria. This effluvium is a result of Efretama's metabolic processes, as well as its usual habitat encroaching on miasmic deposits. While able to handle it to an extent by storing it in the twin tails Efretama must periodically shed and regrow those tails to avoid effluvial build-up. Researchers believe Efretama's ancestry may be traced to environments such as the Rotten Vale. Efretama are relatively social, several individuals sharing turf as they harvest flora and minerals. They are altruistic, coming to one another's aid should a predator threaten them. Occasionally individuals are known to migrate to desert regions. It is not yet fully understood while these Efretama change environment, though current theories suggest it is to avoid intraspecific competition or find nesting sites. Regardless, these individuals must be closely monitored, as desert regions are less adept at handling the miasmic bacteria Efretama transport. Though not particularly challenging (Low Rank - 3, High/Master Rank - 2), Efretama's use of ailments can make it a tricky opponent. Hunters should make use of water weapons to stymie its fiery breath and endeavour to sever the twin tails to mitigate miasma release. Usually there is little need to slay Efretama, though hunters may have to repel desert-dwelling individuals before too much of their effluvium can spread. Though not exceptionally powerful, Efretama can usually avoid most predators by combining its ashen flames and miasmic gas. However, desert-dwelling individuals may be set upon by the flying wyvern Leovar, whose natural dragon energy gives it resilience to effluvium, and have to fight viciously to repel it. Otherwise, Efretama's main competitor is the carapaceon Quil Vashimu, another herbivore seeking control of productive turf. - Thank you for reading and take care.

GI Flanges Manufacture in Chhattisgarh
Chhattisgarh, known for its mineral wealth and industrial potential, is making significant strides in the manufacturing of Galvanized Iron (GI) flanges. The state's industrial landscape is evolving, with a focus on enhancing its manufacturing capabilities to support the growing demand for GI flanges across various sectors, including construction, agriculture, and infrastructure development.
The process of manufacturing GI flanges in Chhattisgarh begins with the selection of high-quality steel, often sourced from local steel plants. The raw material undergoes various processes, including cutting, shaping, and galvanizing, to produce flanges that are durable and resistant to corrosion. Manufacturers employ advanced techniques and equipment to ensure that the flanges meet stringent quality standards required for industrial applications.
Chhattisgarh’s strategic location provides easy access to essential raw materials, which is a significant advantage for manufacturers. The presence of a well-developed transportation network further facilitates the efficient movement of goods, making it easier for manufacturers to distribute their products to markets across India. This logistical advantage is crucial in maintaining competitiveness and responding to market demands promptly.
The state government is actively promoting the growth of the MSME sector, offering incentives and support to local manufacturers. Various schemes aimed at enhancing infrastructure, providing financial assistance, and facilitating technology transfer are in place to help small and medium enterprises thrive. This supportive environment encourages entrepreneurs to invest in the manufacturing of GI flanges and expand their operations.

All around the world, seabirds provide a critical link between land and sea. On Hawai’i, ecologists are working to protect two vital shearwater species that helped life first take hold across these islands.
While seabirds predominantly reside at sea, they return to land to breed and raise their young. In this process, they deposit mineral-rich nutrients that sustain the whole island ecosystem. But the arrival of human settlers introduced non-native predators and extensive development. Together, these compromised many seabird habitats — and decimated their populations. Several species are now teetering on the brink of extinction.
The Maui Nui Seabird Recovery Project engages a multifaceted approach to protect these crucial birds: eliminating invasive predators, restoring native plants, and monitoring burrows for fledgling success. In one instance, they have established a dedicated sanctuary complete with artificial burrows, bird-shaped decoys, and audio speakers to attract one highly endangered shearwater species. Through their efforts, the team gives seabirds a chance to raise the next generation on the very islands they helped bring to life.

My new project, tentatively titled ‘Trembling Earth,’ aims to convey the universal value of the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge and its need for further protection from the titanium mining industry. I am taking a two-pronged approach visually. I will utilize strict documentary photography to serve as evidence and facts to prove my case of the refuge’s value. In my opinion, the sum of this place is more than a direct factual approach can total though. There is a mystical ethereal quality of this primordial place that escapes both the written word and limits of photojournalism. My secondary approach looks capture the intangible feeling one is left with after communing with this magical space. These images will still be created fully in-camera, but will utilize abstract methods in lighting and filters to achieve unique emotive tones in a style I have honed over the past decade. Georgia’s 438,000-acre Okefenokee Swamp is one of the largest intact freshwater ecosystems in the world, and is home to more than 600 species of wild plants, 200 species of birds, 100 species of amphibians and reptiles, and 35 species of fish, including rare and endangered species. Despite designation as a National Wildlife Refuge, North America’s largest blackwater swamp is still under threat by the titanium mining industry. While the refuge may be protected, its boundaries are not. Trail Ridge, the geologic formation that forms the eastern boundary of the swamp, is currently threatened by the Twin Pines Mining Company which has proposed plans for heavy mineral sand mining that would cover an expanse of roughly 8,000-acres next to the refuge. This mining process will lower the water table and increase drought, causing greater susceptibility to wildfire, and permanently altering the ecosystem. Lowered water table and increased drought exposes more peat that can catch fire — peat that stores over 95 million tons of CO2, which cannot be recaptured once released. The swamp as it stands is fire adapted but peat dependent. Upsetting this 10,000-year-old balance could lead to the collapse of an entire ecosystem. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cr00y1oOtHG/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

You're standing inside the RADIO ROOM. At one point, a long time ago now, people worked here every day and managed communications and emergency alerts. But it's not like you would know that. The room, like the rest of the building, is bathed in a dim red light. RADIO EQUIPMENT is stacked high against every wall. There's scattered PAPERS on the desks. There are also MICROPHONES and HEADPHONES scattered across the desks and hanging on hooks. There's also several COMPUTER TERMINALS. If there's any chance of discovering the code to the euthanasia protocol, it will be here.
Look at papers>
You sift through the papers on the desks. Much like the hatch, most of them cite rules and blueprints you couldn't even begin to understand. However, there is a NEWSPAPER amongst the scattered documents.
Read newspaper>
"Just shy of 50 years after mankind first landed on the moon and 30 after the first small colonies were established, our next step for exploration and development seems to be inhabiting our nearest celestial body. Apollo, the household name technological giant, is leading the charge with impressive new terraforming techniques. The Apollo CEO states that the moon will be 'an essential step in solving current world issues, such as food production and the disbursement of the human population'. He hopes that adding more space for these essential facets of life will allow humanity to continue to flourish. Additionally, the CEO's statement included hopes of the moon being 'the first step towards interplanetary exploration and the beginnings of the process of harnessing the full power of what we've been given'.
The goals are certainly lofty, and the logistical problems of developing such an extravagant project can't have been easy. You may have seen the extensive rocket launches ferrying materials to the moon. These include things as standard as metal, minerals and electronics to seeds, plants, and livestock. And the effort seems to have paid off. The moon has grown steadily larger in the sky and turned green and blue. This stands in harsh contrast to the faint lights on the white surface we saw only a few years ago.
But here's the big question; when will people be sent to the moon to live there full time? There's no word as of yet on any official dates, but Apollo has alluded to screening and taking volunteers for Lunar habitation. Anyone accepted would be treated to an endless sustainable farmland and a humble, simple life, certainly a dream for some. But how exactly did Apollo manage to complete such a massive logistical project within such a short time? Well, Apollo scientists say-"
Well, that's irritating. The remains of the newspaper article are missing. Either way though, it sounds like bringing people to the moon was a nightmarish amount of effort. You can't even imagine how many people had to work together to make it possible.
Look around>
The newspaper wasn't much help, but you could still investigate the COMPUTER TERMINALS, the HEADPHONES and the MICROPHONES.
Look at microphones>
You sit down in one of the office chairs and tap the microphone a few times. The levels of the equipment spike with every tap. The mics surprisingly still seem functional. But you doubt they'll do anything to help.
Use headphones>
You pick up a pair of headphones from its hook and put them over your ears. Your eyes widen at what you hear.
"Warning: Code 108. Please input designated number sequence. 4. 8. 15. 16. 23. 42. This broadcast will now repeat. BEEP! Warning: Code 108…"
Your heart pounds. You actually have the numbers. It was this easy. You tremble a little at the weight of what you're now armed with. Still though, you dedicate them to memory. You need to go back to the hatch to use them. But there's a TERMINAL here. You wonder if you can use anything on it.
Use computer terminal>
You turn towards the terminal and press the power button. To your surprise, it turns on faithfully. In front of you, in contrast to the monitor in the hatch is only one application; INSTANT MESSENGER.
Use instant messenger>
You open the instant messenger and are once again greeted by a list of conversations. Interestingly, it seems like there's a conversation with your STATION 12B. That's odd. You freeze a little when you scroll down and see an odd name in the contacts; HERESY.
Check Station 12B>
[VitalsStation12B is ONLINE]
MilkNews: Dude what the fuck
VitalsStation12B: What?
MilkNews: My Wonderswan is gone!
VitalsStation12B: Well that's a shame isn't it?
VitalsStation12B: Maybe now you'll have to rely on analog entertainment
MilkNews: I swear if you had something to do with this…
VitalsStation12B: Never
VitalsStation12B: Just get back to work
VitalsStation12B: And change your name back to standard moron
[VitalsStation12B is OFFLINE]
You briefly wonder about the device you saw in the locker at the hatch. Maybe that's what they're talking about?
Talk to Heresy>
[HERESY is ONLINE]
Broadcast: Hello
Heresy: Sofia?
Heresy: Is that you?
Broadcast: 4 8 15 16 23 42
Broadcast: I wonder what would happen if I plugged those numbers into the euthanasia protocol application?
Heresy: Sofia, please
Heresy: If you do that bad things are going to happen
Broadcast: Oh, really?
Broadcast: Why don't you tell me about them then?
Heresy: Look, Sofia.
Heresy: You have to understand that I'm trying to protect you by not talking to you about this.
Heresy: I'm not sure you're ready to hear what's actually going on.
Broadcast: I've learned quite a lot these last few weeks.
Broadcast: If you don't want me to use the numbers I found you're going to trust that I'm ready.
There's a long wait. You wonder for a while if they'll even send another message. But eventually something comes through.
Heresy: Ok.
Heresy: Fine.
Heresy: But I have a request for you.
Broadcast: Go on
Heresy: I think you need to hear this from more than text on a screen.
Heresy: If my knowledge is accurate there should be a frequency for communicating with Earth.
Heresy: Would you mind talking to me on the radio?
Now you're the one leaving them waiting. You're nervous. It's one thing to talk to a stranger over the anonymity of text on a screen. But hearing their voice? You're afraid. But you want answers more.
Broadcast: Ok.
Broadcast: Where should I look?
Heresy: There should be a box somewhere with all the radio equipment that will let you switch channels.
Heresy: They probably had it labeled.
You stand up from the computer. Sounds like you'll have to search through the RECEIVERS.
Look at receivers>
You start skimming through the various boxes of radio electronics. Eventually you find one with a myriad of simple labels. One reads "EARTH COMMUNICATION STATION". That sounds right.
Set to Earth communication station>
You set the dial to the right frequency and then experimentally tap the microphone.
"Hello?" You wait a moment, and suddenly a feminine voice answers.
"Hey, Sofia."

Excerpt from this story from Canary Media:
Tumblr media
Travertine Technologies, a Colorado-based climate tech company, is building a multi-million dollar demonstration plant alongside a metals refining facility near Rochester, New York. The plant will recycle discarded gypsum to make sulfuric acid while removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
For the project, Travertine is partnering with Sabin Metal Corp., a precious metals refiner and recycler. Travertine’s new demo plant will take gypsum — a mineral that can be used in anything from fertilizer to building materials — that is sitting near Sabin’s facility and turn it into sulfuric acid using the carbon dioxide it traps through direct air capture. Travertine will then sell the sulfuric acid to Sabin to use in its metallurgical processing.
When she founded the company in 2022, Travertine CEO Laura Lammers initially planned to build a low-cost, scalable, and permanent method for trapping carbon dioxide. But in talking with lithium miners, she realized waste from the industry could be used to permanently store the greenhouse gas, she told Canary Media.
That proposition is particularly interesting in that it could simultaneously serve to recycle waste from the mining industry and remove CO2 from the atmosphere.
But Travertine’s 50 foot by 50 foot demo plant will be capable of removing only 45 tons of carbon dioxide a year on a net basis, according to Owen Cadwalader, the startup’s chief operations officer. That’s a minuscule amount compared both to what some other direct air capture facilities are able to remove and the amount that a recent Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report says must be removed from the atmosphere to fight global warming.
“Because of the scale of global sulfuric acid use, our process has economical gigaton-scale carbon dioxide removal (CDR) potential while simultaneously eliminating industrial sulfate waste,” Lammers said in a statement announcing the company’s new demo plant. Lammers said her goal is for the company to have a plant capable of capturing half a million tons of carbon dioxide a year within a decade.
Travertine has $10.7 million in funding to pay for the project, including $7.5 million in venture debt financing from Builders Vision and $3.2 million in grant funding from the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority, according to a news release.

Why Veg Meat is the Future of Sustainable Eating
Introduction
Have you ever wondered about the future of food and how we can make our diets more sustainable? One exciting development in this realm is the rise of Veg Meat. Also known as plant-based meat, this innovative food product is poised to revolutionize how we think about eating sustainably. But what exactly is veg meat, and why is it generating so much buzz?
Tumblr media
The Environmental Impact of Traditional Meat
Land Usage
Traditional meat production is incredibly resource-intensive. It requires vast amounts of land to raise livestock and grow feed crops. This extensive land use leads to deforestation and loss of biodiversity.
Water Consumption
Producing meat also demands significant water resources. From watering feed crops to hydrating animals, the water footprint of meat is staggeringly high. For example, producing just one pound of beef can require over 1,800 gallons of water.
Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Perhaps the most concerning environmental impact of meat production is its contribution to greenhouse gas emissions. Livestock farming produces large amounts of methane, a potent greenhouse gas, contributing significantly to climate change.
What is Veg Meat?
Definition and Overview
Veg meat, or plant-based meat, is designed to mimic the taste, texture, and nutritional profile of traditional meat but is made entirely from plant ingredients. It's crafted to satisfy meat cravings without the environmental and ethical issues associated with animal agriculture.
Common Ingredients Used
The magic behind veg meat lies in its ingredients. Common components include soy protein, pea protein, lentils, grains, and various vegetables. These ingredients are often combined with natural flavors, fats, and binders to create a meat-like texture and taste.
The Benefits of Veg Meat
Environmental Benefits
Switching to veg meat can significantly reduce our environmental footprint. It requires less land, water, and energy to produce compared to traditional meat, and it generates fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
Health Benefits
Veg meat is generally lower in saturated fat and cholesterol than animal meat. It's also rich in fiber, which is beneficial for digestion and heart health. Some plant-based meats are fortified with essential vitamins and minerals, making them a nutritious choice.
