CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW

Ami Mizuno is based on Ami Mizuno from Sailor Moon. She is a 24 year old super human, medical student and uses she/her pronouns. She has the power of genius-level intellect and hydrokinesis. Ami is portrayed by Hamabe Minami and she is open.

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

There's not much to say about Ami's life outside of Evermore; in fact, as far as she's concerned, this is the only life she's ever known. Being the daughter of a wealthy family and having a reputable doctor for a mother, Ami's life seemed set from the start: if she tries her best, studies hard, gives it her all, good things will follow and so she did. Growing up, she was always the introvert with no friends, coming across as cold to those who couldn't comprehend her shyness — but her grades were incredible, always top of the class! Ami hardly thought there could be much more to life than her studies and to carry on her family's budding legacy, until she met Usagi and Luma, who seemed to have fallen from the sky. She went from being the girl people would gossip about and point fingers at to finally knowing what it felt like to have a friend, then two friends, and so on. As the 'brains' of the group and with a personality as calm as water, Ami often finds herself as the mediator of the group, the one who reminds them to be rational even in times of pure emotion. She still has plenty of goals, including that of having a successful career in the medical field, and she's done an excellent job balancing them with her newly acquired social life which can be very demanding with friends like hers. Protected by the planet Mercury, she's a sensible girl; one can only hope that sensibility will come in handy as she awakens to her power!

I HAD A FEELING SO PECULIAR

❀ Dawn Bellwether: It's not to say that Ami doesn't respect Miss Bellwether, but something about her rubs the girl wrong. Maybe it's the way she seems more interested in Ami's smarts than in her as a person. ❀ Wilbur Robinson: Ami has absolutely no problem acknowledging how much of a genius Wilbur is. That being said, he is one of the most chaotic people she's ever met, and that very chaos can be a bit intimidating. ❀ Sylvie Mist: One of Ami's very few friends, and very dear to her. The two girls met on a rainy day and their friendship blossomed instantly. Sylvie's calm personality makes Ami feel like maybe she's not that weird herself.
