okay, babe, so i really need your opinions on every couple of friendzone from last ep cause i have SO MANY and i just wanna talk about it lmao

i’m seeing a lot of people happy about stud and ta and i don’t wanna rain on anyone’s parade and i find them very cute together too but it just won’t work! stud only went back to ta because he knows ta cares about him and will show him the love he desperately wants from earth. he doesn’t feel the same way and will only end up hurting ta if he stays with him just because he wants to be loved by someone. also the preview hinted at ta still maybe flirting with other guys or doing something stud doesn’t like/agree with so i really can’t see them lasting! stud deserves someone who genuinely cares about him and so does ta but if they stay in this relationship both of them will end up getting hurt.

samearth is the worst and i’m sick of seeing them at this point. earth has just become very mean and spiteful and i think he just needs to really reflect on his actions and see how much he is hurting stud. sometimes relationships just run their course and with everything that has happened between them i just think they can’t stay together. if the show ends with them staying together i want gmmtv to pay for me to have a lobotomy to remove any memory of the show from my brain

i’m so over tor and boom at this point!! i want boom to be happy and i wouldn’t have cared that much if she stayed with tor if there was some kind of growth on tor’s part. it seems like he does want to try and be better for her but i would have liked to actually SEE it before they agreed to get married? they’ve argued constantly the whole series so to see them just brush it off and suddenly get married to seemed to quick in my opinion.

the whole good/boyo/locker/music mess....... im really glad locker is finally getting what he deserves! i can’t wait for music to slap him next week and give him a piece of her mind!! as much as i would love to see boyo and music become best friend potentially even girlfriends from this... boyo and good have a really special place in my heart and i’m rooting for them!! judging from the preview it looks like they will get back together i just hope they have a good conversation about their feelings and what they want from each other before getting back together because otherwise it may seem too rushed.

crisamm! the shining light the one beacon of hope in all this mess. they are literally so perfect? they have their fair share of issues and arguments like everyone else but they do the mature thing and communicate with each other and try to resolve their problems! i think the show has done such a good job with them they’ve managed to touch on a lot of issues such as mental health and sexuality and i feel it’s been really well handled and portrayed and they just make me so very happy!

and finally studearth, my personal favourites. i could honestly write an essay about them but i’ll try to keep it as short as possible. the whole show even going back to s1 has been building up to this. i really hope stud finally telling earth how he feels and showing earth that he’s really hurting him right now will be the push earth needs to process his feelings for stud and be honest with himself because it’s so clear that they love each other but they need some time apart to reflect on their actions (specifically earth) and i’m just hoping next week we get the reconciliation and declaration of love i’ve been waiting for and then they need to announce a s3 so i can see them actually happy together!!

sorry, i was left thinking about it all day, but last thing i bother you with about friendzone, i promise!!! but the fact that sam gave earth a free pass to be with whoever he wanted and the first thing earth does is go to stud tells A LOT. i mean. Even more after he pushed stud away after their night together bc he felt guilty, but now that he is allowed to, the first person he chooses to be with is him even if they are friends and even if they are putting that friendship at risk. like wow love

its okay!! i could talk about friend zone ALL day i love it !! so i appreciate these messages! YES ABSOLUTELY! earth had the opportunity to have a one night stand in season one and he didn’t go through with it?? and it’s not like he didn’t have other options this time if he wanted to he could probably have slept with ton or literally anyone but he chose stud? even after everything that happened between them and they were just back on speaking terms... he still chose stud? he’s risking everything for stud? i think it’s very telling! and the fact that he was thinking about stud when he was with sam i KNOW he has feelings for stud he has to but it’s going to take him possibly losing stud forever to face those feelings i think!!

i know stud did pretty shotty things, but i honetly love his character so much??? like wverything he does just screams "hurt and lonely" to me. he seems to have lived his entire life sabotaging everything for himself bc he doesnt think he is worthy. and he is in so much pain???? why do they keep making him suffer? i really want eartj and sam to break up, their relationship is way too toxic and they should have ended it long ago. stud is clearly in love with earth and everyone now seems to *

have realised that earth seems to have feeling for stud too. for me, the thing with them failed bc of bad timing. eartg met sam when he was being vulnerable about coming out and being exposed and figuring out his sexuallity, and he saw this older man who was certain about who he was and who cleared up some of his doubts and latched onto him. plus, he was fighting with stud at that time too bc stud wasnt showing him certainty, but more doubts. but in the end, the heart wants what the heart wants, and it doesnt mean that what it wants is going to be certainty and stability, which is what sam has always given earth. sometimes the heart wants a best friend you made in college, with whom you have fun and can talk and share interests with; sometimes it wants a shitty friend whi thinks hes unworthy but has shown you he loves you in plenty diff ways; sometimes it wants uncertainty, and freedom, and liveliness, even if it means being scared. the fact that a shotty series like friendzone has such complex characters is amazing. i mean, its all about betrayal, and cheating, and unfaithfullness, but they have me hooked since season 1 and i just want to keep watching and see if everyone is gonna pull their shit together and finally realise that they are making bad choices and sabotaging themselves. but at the same time, it shows an interesting part of humans; how we can be good people but make mistakes and hurt others at the same time

yes!! i totally agree with all the points you made!! i think that's the really great thing about friend zone! the characters are very real and complex and even though they are flawed they're still very likable! seeing stud upset is hurting me so much :( he really doesn't deserve it... all of them have done bad thing but he's the only one that is constantly reminded of it and they keep making jokes and making comments that obviously hurt and upset him ? when no one in this show is perfect. yeah for me they need to break up too. this "open relationship" is only going to cause more issues. given this history between stud, sam and earth for him to be the person earth is exploring more options with WILL lead to disaster. sam thinks he can allow earth the freedom to sleep with who he wants to but i know he will start to become very jealous. and i think it's going to cause earth to have to face his feelings for stud. i totally agree! the timing just hasn't been right for them and now earth is open with his sexuality, has more confidence and has the freedom to explore his feelings for stud. and stud has realised that he wants a real relationship that lasts with someone he loves which has always been earth. i think it's going to take earth hurting stud and breaking his heart for him to realise that he wants to be with him and i just hope by that point stud hasn't moved on!

heyy, so i just watched the finale and i was quite content with most of it. i think my brain subconsciously suppressed the parts i hated tho? bc i came here and read stuff about it, abd was like 'ah, yes, i forgot boom and tor got married' LMAO i literally forgot the wedding was for them bc my brain just couldnt fathom why on earth those two, after having fought for so long and being so bad for one another, decided to fix their issues with marriage. and yes, boyo's advice to boom didnt fit her character, thats supposed to be empowering and thats learning how to love herself. i mean, i could expect that kind of advice from earth who clearly doesnt know how to love himself since he put up with toxic trash bag sam for so long, but not from boyo, that just didnt fit ehr character at all. but then i was really happy with boyo's ending. i know u and many were rooting for her to end up with good, but for me it was good that she wanted to take time for herself and learn how to love properly, since she has clearly been struggling with it since s1, and making her end up with good all of a sudden after everything just didnt fit right for me. im also happy music stood up for herself and locker got treated like the shitbag he is. also, i kind of saw the last scene with music and good as them ending up as good friends? i mean, i know they cuddled and stuff, but to me it seemed like they were having each other's back, since they were both struggling with similar situations. i liled their relationship throughout the series, bc they were always honest about what they were for each other, and among all of their struggles, they found someone they vould rely on and a friend. and crissamm were perfect, nothing to add, nothing to take, i just love them the way they are. they were the healthiest, most loving couple out of them all.

what i was really disappointed (but not quite surprised) was studearth. i mean, there was clearly no time at all for earth to both break up with sam and then get with stud, it would seem too rushed. they should have make them break up earlier on and not make stud seek love somewhere else just bc he was hurt once again. i agree that stud and ta dont seem quite right for me for that reason. stud doesnt love him, stud doesnt know how to love himself, and, honestly, i think he should pull a boyo and be by himself for a while. it was frustrating also, to watch earth pretend not to love him when he clearly does??? like, first of all, he was jealous af when stud frist introduced ta (sorry, pal, but u dont get jealous when friends get boyfriends), and then the pain printed on his face when he told stud he just wanted to be friends?????? like what was up with that. thats not the face of someone that just wants to be friends. he was clearly hiding his love for stud for some reason; perhaps bc he too thinks he should pull a boyo before he tries anything with him bu doesnt want stud to continue pining after him for longer than he already has. earth has always known stud loves him, and he has been leasing him on, so its good he has somehow "released" him from that so that maybe stud can focus on thinking about himself first.

i would really like a third season to close all of the loose endings, tho. ugh, im happy, but sad, and disappointed, but calm. theres just too many emotions.

also, i really need a gif of amm throwing water at that dude and saying 'sorry, i thought you were a trashcan bc all u say is crap' bc that was just ICONIC. so if u find someone who makes it (or if u decide to make it) please let me know!!!

i'm like 50/50 on a season 3 because i really do love the show but it's little things that just kind of disappoint me a bit. i'd hate for them to do a s3 and give me hope for studearth all over again just for it to not happen but i do think there's definitely room for a third season.

i think that’s totally possible! we’re constantly learning about ourselves every day i certainly don’t know everything about myself and my identity. i’m sure we’re all so different from the people we were a few years ago so of course our views and feelings about certain things will change over time. i think it’s likely a lot of people would figure out they’re aromantic later in life especially because this idea of finding “the one” and marrying them and settling down is so forced upon us we think that’s the only option but it’s not. i think the most important thing is to just listen to yourself and go with how you feel right now if things change later or if they don’t change at all that’s okay! we’re always growing and learning and discovering new things about ourselves just don’t put pressure on yourself to know everything right now. and don’t let anyone invalidate your feelings... if that’s how you feel then of course it’s possible!
