She travels further than she could have ever imagined without going anywhere at all. Along the way, she discovers someone she mistakenly thought she'd known...

This is my favourite time-travel fic of all times. Come for the seriously adorable young Snape, stay for the wit and the romance (and perhaps the most clever reason for time-travelling I’ve read). 

Before the Dawn by Snarkyroxy In her seventh year, a late night discovery changes Hermione Granger's views on a great many things. Severus Snape is just one of them.

This story is responsible for getting me hooked on Snape/Hermione as a pairing. Since I first read it 10 years ago, I’ve read and re-read it at least half a dozen times. Written before the release of HBP, it’s a refreshing read if one’s just come of a bender reading DH-divergent fics. The romance is the best kind of standing-too-close and stealing-glances without it feeling out of character. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Speaking of DH-divergent fics; this is one of my absolute favourites in that category. The characterisation is sublime; there are layers upon layers to these characters that are equally fascinating and heartbreaking. This story feels real, for lack of a better word, there is no separation from fic and reader, no shying away from the harsher side of things. The characters are lovable for all their flaws, and you feel everything that happens just as deeply as they do.

Do Not Go Gentle by SenLinYu It was subtle at first. For the first several months, she assumed it was merely the stress of the war; for the next several months, she assumed it was the stress of the trials; then when winter approached, she assumed it was stress from school.She kept assuming it was stress until she was walking to the cabinet to retrieve her supplies for Potions class and the walls began closing in, wobbling and swallowing her up.When she woke again, she was in the Hogwarts hospital ward.Severus Snape stood at her bedside, staring down at her with an expression of profound irritation.

This fic is a WIP, written wonderfully by SenLinYu (who usually writes Dramione fics). I don’t want to give anything away for those of you who haven’t read this yet, but it’s heartbreakingly beautiful. Seldom do fics make me cry, but this has made me done so on several occasions.

Snape lives and marries Hermione.—MLC with a twist turns into AU-sequel of DH with new dangers, old secrets, and much more.—Virtual penny dreadful. Many short episodes with adventure, romance, a dash of hurt/comfort, and a sprinkling of horror.

·Book of Shadows by Harmony Bites -- Incomplete, apparently abandoned. But what there is, is very good. Words: 71,106.

As Severus Snape knows, and Hermione will learn, magic always has a price. AU after Deathly Hallows.

The war is over. Hermione Granger's life, while safer, is no less complicated. Victory has had unintended consequences which affect not only Hermione, but all those around her.

One of my favorite HGSS fics ever is Camerado by MillieJoan and I just found out MillieJoan wrote a short epilogue to it.

Hello, I’m getting a little bit desperate on the finding the following fiction. Don’t recall when I read this but it’s been a while and now it’s impossible for me to find. This not going to be very coherent because I can’t recall much details so please, bear with me, I’m trying my hardest. Anyways…here it goes:

This Fiction takes place in HBP Dumbledore requests that Severus trains Hermione Occlumency and survival skills. She eventually finds about the pact that Dumbledore has with Severus and she’s able to communicate with him using Phineas Black portrait, on the run Severus development feelings for her and gets very jealous when Black notified him that Ron and her are having sexual relationship. I also recall he has a bit of hunchback (weird, I know) after the torture of Bellatrix they are able to peruse a relationship, she’s able to save him and the ending of the story is a bit abrupt, think she’s gazing into mirror of the bathroom…think she wrote Severus a letter, I’m not sure, but we, the reader don’t know if she’s going back to Severus. Please let me know if you’ve read anything similar. Thanks!

Hi! I'm looking for this snamione fic and I can't seem to find it. I'm currently asking around another snamione shippers if they have read it as well. It was about Snape's ghost in the Shrieking shackand how Hermione visits him and keeps him company. Decades pass and in the end of the fic she dies of old age and after Hermione's death her daughter goes to inform Severus and this loss makes him finally let go and join her in the afterlife. In was short but the timeline was stretched.

The only story I’ve been able to find has Snape actually coming back to life.
