I'm not inserting every single image, as there's a 10 image limit, but... yeah. Shadow Milk Cookie DID CONSIDER Pure Vanilla Cookie's words. But then...

He thinks SOMETHING. He then lashes out at Pure Vanilla Cookie and says he knows nothing. And I feel the need to say that in the English dub, it sounded like he was almost crying.

But if we go back in the story, things get clearer. Look at this scene.

He realizes that Pure Vanilla Cookie tricked him, and when he can't get back his soul jam, he is left calling Pure Vanilla Cookie a "traitor" and a "liar". How hypocritical, especially for the being of deceit.

But... Here's where it gets crazy.

See that reflection in the top right corner???

It resembles Silent Salt Cookie.

Silent Salt Cookie may have had something to do with Shadow Milk Cookie's imprisonment.

Shadow Milk Cookie was betrayed by HIS FRIEND.

WHICH WAS WHY HE REACTED THAT WAY WHEN PURE VANILLA COOKIE OFFERED TO BE HIS FRIEND. WHICH WAS WHY HE REACTED THAT WAY WHEN PURE VANILLA TRICKED HIM.

Pure Vanilla Cookie was right about Shadow Milk Cookie. He is lonely. And Shadow Milk Cookie DOES want to be Pure Vanilla Cookie's friend (see the Sheep's Clothing Cake Hound Description).

But I think there was one thing Pure Vanilla Cookie got wrong.

I’ve always had this little headcanon of mine that pre-corrupted shadow milk is a HUGE people pleaser and always had this need to want to fit in. Like he is supposed to embody the virtue of knowledge and therefore people look out for him for answers (he is happy to oblige since it gives him a purpose, that’s what he was created for). But he cannot help but think that people just come to him for the sole reason to gain knowledge from him and not FOR HIM as a person.

I don’t know if that makes sense but this people pleasing trait of him could be a result of wanting to make the witches proud of him (this need to be their favorite creation) “Lucifer was an angel and he was god’s favorite” (god = witches) and (Lucifer = Shadow milk) you know

Sorry for the rambling, I’m just fascinated with shadow milk’s past and all the references he has to biblical figures 😅
