God, there has never been a more true statement.

When we did joint stuff with the American branches, it was actually fucking comical how cheap most of their equipment was. Like the American government does not give a shit at all about the lives of their service members. They'll give them enough ammunition to turn a small country into a crater, sure, but in terms of like... life saving equipment to ensure they don't get sent home in a metal box, service members are pretty much shit out of luck. All of the talk about how much of America's budget gets spent on their military, but I think it's important to note that almost all of that money goes into their drones, air force, and navy. Outside of just getting more ammunition, everyone else gets scraps, if anything at all. If you've ever ridden in an American Army vehicle, you'll know what I mean. It's bad. They do the bare ass minimum for their machines (both human and literal machines) to function. Don't ever let someone tell you that America has more state-of-art equipment for their soldiers than like Russia or something because that is just flat out a lie when it comes to everything but their drone, aircraft, and navy technology. And even then, they cheap out on that a lot, which just goes to show they are perfectly comfortable throwing away money because they know they'll just get more.

TLDR; there is a reason that American enlisted on social media are constantly making fun of how shitty their equipment is.

#social #lucky.txt #and because i constantly see people say ''well america puts a lot of money into their training programs'' yeah those programs which #are universalized at this point. every country has the capability to train their enlisted and officers exactly like america does. the only #reason you don't really see other militaries going to the extent that america does is because other countries aren't as invested in the #things that you would need that kind of training for. shit like buds is not some hidden secret. every country could do that. but other #countries just don't care enough about invading global south countries to destroy their infrastructure to actually spend the time #and effort on implementing it. they do the minimum that needs to be done for whatever their warfare needs are. meanwhile america is #out here with their manifest destiny bullshit preparing for things they really don't need to but do anyway because they love playing #g.i. joe. you know that movie that glorified navy seals? zero dark thirty or whatever. yeah any other special forces branch in the #american military could have achieved that. PJs could've done that if they tried hard enough. america just likes to hype up #their shit to get more patriotic kids to join them even when it's really nothing that impressive or special anymore. the american #military machine is a scam and it's sad to see it getting pitied by media just because it fucked itself over with its ego
