What is it that got you interested in writing or roleplaying in general?

Started with Arma 3 RP! MiliSim is my Fav and I loved getting really tied up into Ops. Arma 3 ALL THE WAY!

Day 1, Age 18.

So, nothing happened today. I was asleep for too long so I missed volleyball practice. Being kept awake is such a pain, but it is what it is. Been a bit secluded just talking to internet friends, my irl ones are kinda distant/shit. So, I'm just chillin' played some milisim with a lot of great people and 2 aspiring members of the military, except they are guaranteed to join as opposed to me. Do you think that's having a defeatist mindset? Or Just being real? Dunno. Gonna hit Volleyball Prac on day 3 though, day 2 is finna be relatively the same. Life's going okay, I won't dive into some emotions I feel.

A little too long of an introduction, really.

(2/2) I've had this goal of joining the military since 16, since then Covid has hit, and I've been unable to apply for the British Army, Royal Marines, or anything for that matter. And the situation with the US is very strange and unpredictable. I've felt pent up, constantly given glimpses of hope only to be shot down (no pun intended) or just straight-up crushed by the reality that life does not give a flying fuck about what you want. Life benefits what it needs to benefit and nothing more. So here I stand, 3 months passed when I wanted to be in the military. The commonwealth is not being called upon by the British army for the foreseeable future, and the U.S remains a very weird scenario for me. What do I do in the meantime? Get on Twitter and play milisims to cope, I guess. I'm also a volleyball player and I work out often.
