okay anyway followup ask because i also need to spitball about the mv and the little girl in it. disclaimer i don't know what i'm talking about

beginning we see girl look up at kotoko, so i'm assuming a gang or something tried to attack this girl and kotoko comes to save her, and then kind of brings her under her wing, and then kotoko starts hunting this gang because they're bad, and then this begins kotoko's spiral

now the thing is, why was she scared of kotoko when she saw her again. my theory which is based off of nothing, is that kotoko went and tracked down the rest of the gang and uh, yknow, killed all of them. because if the people going after the girl was bad then the rest of the gang must be bad as well.

little girl, who thought kotoko was a good person for saving her, is now watching kotoko as she starts actively looking looking for prey. little girl just wants a good role model who takes care of her and then kotoko comes and says "i killed all of them"

in the sequence where she passes the girl it's almost as if her gaze softens when she looks toward her !!

her eyebrows are visibly calm (?) and in the next scene it's obviously scrunched
