Sending out some orders for my #books today , not something I do that often, and looking down onto their faces I found the scenario surreal. Did I really write this rather eclectic selection? Not to mention those missing from the pic.. ? and take photos for a few of them too... ? not the brilliant food photography of course... they (and some clever incidentals in snowflakes and zenbu particularly) belong to very talented others like @cathmuscat , @brettstevensphoto , #stevebrown , @mareehomer.photography , #mikkelvang - and Of course they were designed and styled by some of the best in the biz - @reubencrossman @derringergroup responsible for art direction on s&s and zz. So a group effort- can't take all the credit! Too many people to mention really so apologies but you know who you are... Thanks to all involved - especially @murdochbooks for taking the journey with me and to guru #publishing director @kayscarlett5156 For being the first to give me a shot at putting stuff on paper and allowing me to acquire and guide a whole bunch of pretty fantabulous authors & their books! I've been lucky to work with amazing chefs, restaurateurs and all the behind the scenes folk to produce some mighty fine & gorgeous tomes. More recently- the wonderful @crimsonlane and @Corinne_rob have allowed me to continue to play with books ie #Milkbarmemories and #tokyostyleguide Where have the years gone... ?? And where's my mansion on the water?? ;) on a serious note- sooo #grateful #appreciative #proud (#exhausted!) but also .... just a little out of sorts seeing a bunch of my bookchildren hanging out together.. do they know they are related? Don't mind me... Just taking some time to stop, smell the roses and reflect.... I wasn't even 30 when I first started as a food editor at #murdochbooks and now I'm looking at 50!! Wtf?!?! Making an effort to slow things down! And do it all smarter, better , wizer for the next stage of my life ! Oh and @jodyvassallobeautifulfood - thanks for giving me a job way back when... and for inspiring me even more now with the work you are doing ;) . #loveyouseall #notondrugs #thankful
