Mikana

Blue Island AU

Welp, it got dark all of a sudden.

So, to explain this piece a bit : I've been working on an AU for quite while now named Blue Island. To put it simply it's a kinda a remix of magical girls and kh together with a tad or realism as you can see. Designing the magical girls clothes all the while keeping the spirit of each character original ones was tough but gratifying !

For this piece I really wanted to illustrate the vibe of "oh we are in trouble. Huge trouble". In this AU, Sora, Riku and Kairi are pushed into this new world of being protectors of light without much training sooo... Let's just say the first few fights aren't pretty. I hope it's not too graphic I tried to keep it down

Myrti

Vampire AU

They looked at each other without really seeing. Eyes locked yet blind. Deep inside, numerous feelings were eating at both of the woman. Old, crumbled up memories crashed against each other in a silent cacophony.

Myrti was out of words. Out of ways to express everything. Larxene was too full of questions. All of them rushing to her head all at once, making it impossible to ask any. So they continued to look at the other. Like a stranger. Like a lover. Like a foe.

Everything rang true yet one was oblivious to the truth and the other refused to give it. And the blond vampire, truly, deeply wanted answers. To put reasons being the angry and vengeful actions of Myrti. To have a sentence -even a single word- to respond to the numerous "why" that had kept repeating in her head over the last years.

She opened her mouth. To say it. Say her piece. Or maybe just something. Anything. Anything that could break the silence and hatred. But the young woman before her didn't let her. With neither words nor action. Only her eyes.

The blond didn't remember the before. Before being Larxene, she was nothing -or at least that's what her inexistent memories told her-. Before being a vampire, for her, she didn't exist as a human. All this time, she reasoned herself.

"why care about it ? I don't remember it anyways."

Surely if she had been loved, if she had been cared about, someone would have looked for her... And no one came.

Looking back, it sure was a stupid way to think. A way of coping. Of not regretting. Of not staying stuck in the eternal loop of searching for the ghosts of those she didn't know about. Really, all she ever did was blinding herself. Turning away and running the furthest away from any possible problems.

Sure, she lived to the fullest. A life of excess and joy, the life of a creature of the night. She did as she wanted without a care and never did she regretted it. Not for a second. Not until she met her.

All along, she knew. She knew they were entangled one way or another. There was this pull, this mysterious invisible thread that always lead her back to Myrti. Yet she didn't question it. She didn't question the hate. The bitterness. The plain and obvious hurt. The blond covered her eyes. She played dumb. Just as she ignored the clear consequences of her past actions -even if she didn't remember them-, she also decided to not acknowledge her eyes.

The eyes she now gazed into. Full of pain, agonising loathing and regrets. She saw it. She saw for the first time the full extent of it. From the flamming hate... to the burning love. The care. Even the affection she tried to deny seeing in the other vampire.

Myrthi both loved her and hated her. One as destructive as the other. Both consuming her in every actions she took until now. And Larxene knew. Understood. She had to accept : she was the catalyst of all of it.

And that's it for today ! I hope it was nice to look and read ! Today's is pretty grim/angsty but zhwt can I say ? That's my jam !

🌺Kh Oc Week 2022🌺

- Day 3 - Sacrifice -

Like you might have understood, I use sporadically prompts from the alphabet and the basic list. I let inspiration hit me when it wants to.

I have to say, this prompt is rather angsty here but i’ll try my best to make it fun to read eheh :D

Bunny

For my first girly, i decided to redraw the player sacrifice at the end of khux with my sweet child Bunny. However, before she was send through the portal by Ephemer, Anis see through his sister lies. In a desperate act, he push her away and is the one that is send through the portal and locked with the darkness.

Bunny has a hard time accepting what happened. She feels guilty that she wasn't able to fool her twin and that he sacrificed himself for her in the end. Thankfully – even if she is left in the ruin of Daybreak Town – Ephemer is here for her.

This unfortunate situation really strengthen their bound. A bound that – after years of strong friendship – because a sincere love for each other.

Mikana

Mikana's drawing is a rather bleak one. Mikana sacrifice everything to save her older sister. Manipulation, lies, deceit and pain don't matter to her as long as long as she can save Sakore.

In her blind attempt at rewriting fate, she sacrifice her own heart and body. The darkness she uses daily to manipulate her friends and further her plans slowly takes over her. Inexorably drawing her closer to her own end. However, life is far more cruel than she anticipate.

There is no cure. No way of saving her sister. In fact, in the past she left, Sakore became a heartless in a matter of weeks after her disappearance. The revelation is like a punch is the guts. All her anguish and suffering were for nought. All along her goals were nothing more than a cloud of smoke. From the start she wasn’t the one manipulating but was manipulated.

But things gets even darker when an old acquaintance recognize her. Yen Sid unveil her tainted actions to her friends. Her betrayal unearthed, she had no chose but flee. Now, without any goal or friends to rely on, Mikana has to reevaluate her life and chose her next moves carefully.

Sika

Sika try to hide away in Twilight Town for a while after crashing there. The teenager can finally live the way she wants to. A life she choose along, without the overbearing judgement of her master. But soon, she hears of Orion actions through her new friends. Orion now completely indulge in darkness and helps Xigbar in his plans.

Back against the wall, Sika has to make a choice : try to stop Orion's rampage or live the free and happy life she always dreamed of. Even if they feel conflicted, the perspective of innocents peoples being hurt by her inaction push her to follow the first option. Using her keyblade again after a while, she saves Kairi in extremis during one of Orion's attack on Twilight Town.

Now playing the role of keyblade master along side Aqua and Riku, Sika takes part in the plans to stop Xigbar and his mysterious plans. But really, Sika has a goal slightly different from the rest. In fact, her and Orion's relationship wasn't only friendship. Guilt ridden and still in love with the girl, they promise themself to take her down no matter what.

And they do. Running out of options in the last battle against the redhead, Sika resign herself to end it at once and run her keybalde through the both of them. Orion is defeated but Sika's own heart is freed in the process.

Pêche

Like said in my last post, Pêche is the result of Daisy's and Poppy's reunification into one. However, this unification was forced by Xehanort in the slim hope it would result in the formation of X-Blade. It , in fact, didn't forge the desired weapon.

The two parts that had grew apart for the last decade were in a delicate place : As their heart tried to fit back together, chunks of it were broken off, cracked or destroyed. They were auto-destructing, both of their heart desperately trying to survive the horrifying ordeal. Poppy quickly caught on that if they both persisted, neither would survive.

In a last act of unconditional love, Poppy consciously stop fighting and let Daisy's ego take over her heart. She was aware this action would make her disappear but it didn't matter as long as the other was alive and well. Ultimately - like it never existed - Poppy's conscience was no more. Though completely heartbroken and anguished by her other part passing, Daisy became one.

One that had some of Poppy's memories and feelings but mostly Daisy. Foggy memories and a deep feel of nothingness was all that was left of the years they were two. All that was left was patchwork of two individuals experiences that now had to live on.

PFIIIIIIIOUUUUUUU And here is the third day of this week for me ! It was pretty lore and angst heavy ahah i hope it wasn't too confusing. English isn't my first language but i really like writing fics in this language. No idea if it's good but anyways i hope my traumatized keykids were to y'all liking !

✨Day 4✨

Themes : 1. Sacrifice, 2. Alternative Universe, 3. What is your character afraid of ?

Mikana

1. Mikana wouldn't be one to admit it but she sacrifices quite a bit in her attempt to save her sister. Firstly by sacrifising her childhood, her autonomy and later on, the only friends she had for Xehanort plans. All of that for only a chance of him helping her sister do better. Because she is the only thing she have left, her only family.

3. At first, Mikana was ordered by Xehanort to infiltrate the guardians of lights and act as a spy. However as time pass by and Mikana grow closer to them and more precisely Vanitas and Ventus she grow anxious. Not only did she really grew to like them but she also realized they would despite her with all of their hearts if they found out. But even worst than Sora or Riku finding about her involvement with Xehanort, she was horrified at the thought that Van or Ven could come to hate her.

Sika

1. Sika was in love with Orion. It was reciprocated. However they started to drift apart when their best friend Erid, and the third disciple of Master Ivi, died during his mark of Mastery. Mark of Mastery that Sika passed and Orion failed. Things grew even more sour when Sora fell on White Castle post KHIII and the lonely Sika got closer to him.

Soon after, Orion attacked them, Master Ivi stopping the teenager and sacrificing herself to give Sika and Sora à chance to escape. This is after this incident that Sika swore to herself that she would take down Orion, no matter the price to pay. And she fulfilled this promise when, to take down Orion, sh sacrificed her own life.

3. Losing her memories. Above all else, Sika wants to remember everything she went through. She mostly want to remember how being free and happy feels. The freedom Sora and his friends made her experience and that she hold dear.

Bunny

1. After Anis betrayal, Bunny quickly realized something was a miss : Contrary to what might seems at first sight, on the three remaining pods towards the real world, only two were in a working state. Prioritizing her friends over her, Bunny pushed and locked Skuld and Ephemer in the two available pods.

She felt terribly sorry when she heard Ephemer desperate plea but she couldn't indulge him. He was an union leader et so was Skuld. They had to leave no matter the consequences. So she send them to safety even if she was truly terrified at the idea of dying.

3. Sadly, Bunny's worst fear was to not be able to properly protect her brother and her friends. She always felt that she was too weak. Too soft.

Anis

1. Anis consciousness awaken in his new heart. Contrary to what he had imagined, he wasn't assimilated but more in a spectator role. Soon enough, he learned that the new heart name was Xehanort. Anis truly wanted to help the boy stay away from the darkness however all he could do is watch without doing anything. Conscious, Anis started to grieve all the friends he lost. But his already grieve muted into a devastating rage when he recognized someone.

A boy, that was now a man, who now was indulging himself into darkness : Luxu. Slowly Anis started to piece together his own memories and the new information he got and understood Luxu involvement in the Daybreak Down fall. He was the traitor Brain book was talking about. He was the reason for all those sacrifices.

3. Anis is terrified he won't be able to save his sister and his friends. He fears he won't be able to do anything for them.

Mikana,Bunny and Anis

2. Since the last few prompts weren't really fun i decided to draw something lighthearted ! Like the theme suggest this is an AU and i called it : Magical Fix it AU. In a nutshell, this is basically the magical AU i've been working on for a year but without any drama. The Magical AU is basically a universe were the characters live in a modern society in which some people have powers and magical forms. In this AU, Bunny and Ephemer are together and had Sakore and Mikana. As for Anis, he had a wife named Faey and is 'Naminé's father. For the three other character here they are Strelitizia, Plume (the girl in the foreground) and Xail (the little blond girl next to Sterli) (the two last are @lennsart ocs ).

Pêche

1. Pêche was an unknown member of the Organization and New organization and it wasn't without reason : They were the watchdog. They were tasked to keep a watchful look on both the members of the Organization and the guardians of light by Xemnas. One of their abilities was to hide in shadow. Being able to spy anyone from their own shadow was a huge advantage.

However as times passed, they grew attached to some of the targets she had to watch over : those being lights or even Organization members. They started to omit some things on their reports for Xemnas. And as time went they lied about anything that could prejudice any of the people she grew attached to. It was a given that Xemnas would soon found out but they felt the later he would, the better.

3. Pêche can't feel anything but sometimes they wonder how it would be to do so. Since they have memories of their time as Daisy, they can somewhat understand the benefits of it but emotions seems so strange and foreign to them. But at the same time, Pêche truly fear they won't ever be able to feel again. They fear that, like Xemnas and Xigbar repeated so many times, they are nothing but a broken tool.
