I almost forgot to post my recap of Sunday at afest today.

So Sunday was the day that I did the most as my mother did not fill it with shopping. We went together to the vtuber autograph signing, but she only got one to sign my name. The other two did not like me so much... Anyways it was still pleasant to speak with them and we went to a few more of their panels.

Then that night we made our way to the Tumblr sexy man panel. It was a very hard decision with so many great contestants, but amazing ones did win.

💀 How do they feel about horror movies?

She doesn't really like horror movies especially kinds that deal with body horror or anything like that. She also can't deal with jumpscares so that's off too. Best she can do is one of those bad sci-fi channel movies or something like Zombeavers. Something that's really just too ridiculous and dumb to be scary. I'd like to think she would work better with animated horror movies if anything. I'd like to think if Ichi's the biggest horror movie fan in the house he kinda tests what she likes and what she's afraid of so that way they can have an agreement for a spooky movie night together.

Also somewhat related if we're talking about horror games... especially those early 2010's RPG maker games well that's one of her jams.

🗣️ How do they handle public speaking?

She's honestly working on it. Since occasionally she has to present her new exhibitions to the gallery in Akatsuka she would have to be ready to talk about it. She's still not 100% perfect but she's better than she was when she had her first speech.

Of course having the brothers as practice helps a lot esp when they're all crowded around her. Sometimes Matsuzo and Matsuyo would help fill out too.

💘What do they find attractive about their partner(s)?

Mika adores how soft the Matsus are especially Ichi and Oso, they make the most perfect cuddle buddies especially after a hard days work. There's nothing Mika loves more than to just be snuggled up against them and maybe take a little nap<3

Speaking of snuggling and taking naps, she also enjoys how laidback and easygoing they are. Even Choro who talks a big game about not being lazy and being hardworking and whatever, if she says she wants to take it easy today I think Choro would fold and just relax with her too.

And of course she adores how down bad they are for her. She's not really into dancing around feelings and she just loves how transparent they are about her. She of course reciprocates~ Imagine how down bad they are for Totoko in the show and then getting the same treatment in return and they're all so happy<333

Mr. Osomatsu The Movie DVD/Blu-ray to be Released on November 6, 2019

  The official website for Eiga no Osomatsu-san/Mr. Osomatsu The Movie, an all-new sequel film to the two Mr. Osomatsu TV series, announced today that its DVD/Blu-ray is set to be released in Japan on November 6, 2019.

  Folloiwng the TV anime first season aired from October 2015 to March 2016 and the second season from October 2017 to March 2018, the 108-minute film was released in Japan on  March 15, 2019, and earned a very good 610 million yen from its domestic run.

  The DVD/Blu-ray's "Akatsuka High Graduation Box" also includes: the six-type "Maesetsu" clips screened before the film, the stage greeting event by the voice cast on March 31, 2019, an audio commentary by the voice cast, and a newly-recorded song CD to commemorate the graduation from Akatsuka High.

    Takahiro Sakurai, who has voiced Osomatsu Matsuno, posts his message about the release: "My memories about Mr. Osomatsu The Movie are Dream Ami-san (the theme song singer) and Mika Kanou-san (the guest of the opening day event). I can't remember much of the rest. It is a story about her secret - even the six the sextuplet brothers don't know about. Thank you!"

Mika for 1, 6, 13, aaaand 20!

are they associated with a certain color? what color do they wear the most?

Mika's mostly associated with black and white because of course she's a panda but her special color is a bright neon green like the stone on her head and the green of her eyes.

And she usually wears black and white as well but I'd like to switch her colors up now and then it's just a matter of "do I really feel like drawing her different clothes" you know?

6. how do they wear their hair? do they care a lot how their hair looks?

Mika usually wears her hair pretty loose, only really putting it up for events or occasionally wearing cute hair clips.

She does surprisingly care about her hair looks, it took her so very long to grow it out that long so she doesn't really want it cut (except for healthy trimming off dead ends).

13. what languages do they speak? how fluently?

She speaks Lunarian, English and Japanese.

She of course is very fluent in Lunarian since that's her home language but she's also very fluent in English (for some reason...) and she's working on her Japanese. Thankfully the sextuplets have been very patient with her learning through them.

20. if applicable, can they drive? if they have their own, what color is their vehicle? is the inside neat and tidy, or a mess?

Mika does not drive ever. Especially since Akatsuka is pretty much a walkable city so there's no need to have a car for the most part.

This weekend I was able to go to the lovely Dallas convention @animefest_convention. I would have posted about it while I was there, but my mother was "too tired" and didn't post anything.

Here is a recap of what I did Saturday, though I did not do much. My mother dressed up and shopped most of the morning, but I did get to see vtubers. We went to the cursed food panel with Zane Dase, Mika Akatsuka, and Girl_dm and the escape room run by Zane and Mika. I didn't get many pictures, but here is my ticket for the escape room and some photos at home of what I got from it (I got Zane and Mika to sign the prize later). We were able to win, which was pretty cool.

7. Do they have any unusual fears?

Mmm... I think she'd be afraid of Sukeroku tbh? Like I think she saw him once and kinda freaked out? He's been real nice to her but she's kinda wary.

Other than that her fears are kinda normal stuff.

(TBH he did freak me out a little when I first saw him in the intro scene when he went to the Matsus house lol)

8. Do they collect anything? If so what and why?

Ooh Mika collects stuffed animals! She has many varieties<3 How can you not collect stuffed animals tho, they're so cute<3 She especially loves anything by the Amuse company.

She also collects precious stones on occasion. She just thinks their neat. Moonstones are her favorite (because of course).

24. Do they have any enemies?

I don't think so. Mika's usually not the type to start shit or hold a grudge or anything.

Now... that's on her end.

I'd think Totoko can't stand her tbh, mostly in a "How dare there be another girl that's actually prettier than me and it's a god damn bear????" and Mika kinda picks up on the fact that Totoko doesn't seem to like her so she kinda avoids her.

27. Has a chance encounter ever had an unexpected effect on them?

I mean... I am thinking more in a "Fanfic-y kinda meet up" kinda way that she would not expect to fall in love with six men at the same time when she first came to Akatsuka Ward. So when she saw them on the street or maybe vice versa it was kinda love at first site and they all kinda wanted to get to know each other better.

Oh and Hamuko! Hamuko was also a chance encounter but it was also like a "omg hi hi hi hi!!!!" and then they became besties.

IDK if that's what this means but I'm going with it!

2. when in canon does your self insert come in? do you have a scene in mind for your entrance?

I'm thinking maybe Mika comes in a while after the season 1 finale. The combination of all of them looking at the moon and them going to space for baseball isn't really all that much of a trigger but it really feels like "OK cool aliens are a thing here. I'm gonna put her in at this spot in time"

Prolly a few months after the baseball shenanigans anyways and when she's basically a month moved into her new home in Akatsuka.

No fancy entrances yet. That's something I'll have to thinke big hard about. Maybe Ichi sees her on the street or something and is like "a bear???? a costume????" and can't get her out of his mind until she sees her again. Though how to get them talking it's like hmm...

Outside the usual "oh they meet in an alley because kitty cats meow meow meow". Not a bad idea though.

YMO's Yukihiro Takahashi Produces "Mr.Osomatsu" 2nd Season 2nd ED Song

The official Japanese website for the Osomatsu-san/Mr. Osomatsu TV anime series announced today that its ongoing second season's second ED song "Otona ÷6 × Kodomo × 6" is performed by "The Osomatsu-sans with the Matsuno Six Brothers," consisting of 16 Japanese artists and the six voice actors of the Matsuno brothers. 65-year-old acclaimed singer/drummer Yukihiro Takahashi served as composer/producer and joined the recording as one of the singers. Takahashi is well known for his activities in internationally famous Japanese techno unit YMO (Yellow Magic Orchestra), and other two members of the unit, Haruomi Hosono and Ryuichi Sakamoto also joined the session.

  Originally, "The Osomatsu-sans" was a special unit formed just for one day in the outdoor summer music festival "World Happiness" in 2013, for which Takahashi has served as curator since its first event in 2008. "Otona ÷6 × Kodomo × 6" is the unit's first original song written by Keiichi Suzuki (Moon

Riders) and composed/produced by Takahashi. As with the second season's first ED song "Let' Go!

Muttsu Go! ~Rokushoku no Niji~," the main six voice actors of the TV anime again joined the recording

to sing the chorus part. The new ED song will be revealed in the first episode in 2018 to be aired on

January 8, and its CD single will be released on February 28.
