My first ever serious glamour.

Weapon: Verdant Shortbow

Head: Augmented Choral Chapeau (Soot Black)

Body: Aurum Jacket

Hands: Oschon’s Gauntlets of Aiming

Legs: Prototype Midan Poleyns of Aiming

Feet: Oschon’s Sollerets of Aiming

I didn’t subscribe until after I finished Heavensward, and I also didn’t start thinking seriously about glamour until I was getting ready to start Stormblood. A lot of that was that I was running out of things to do in the game and getting bored waiting for a sale, so I figured I might as well sort out a canon outfit for Mihri. It helped that glamour options at level 60 are much better than at level 50.

Mihri, as a Keeper of the Moon, specializes in shortbow archery, and of the available shortbow options, limited as they are, my favorite is the Verdant Shortbow from the Aurum Vale. The jacket from the same dungeon has a sort of ninja feel to it, which seemed appropriate for Stormblood. The Oschon set was some of the first level 60 gear I fell in love with, and they add a touch of color to the look while still being fairly muted, suiting the tactical thing I was going for. I’ve always been fond of tan pants with black shirts, and so the Midan pants fit in quite neatly, adding a touch of gold to tie in with the final, and most important, part of the glamour.

The first thing I did upon subscribing was go to the Marketboard and buy the augmentation kit for the Choral Chapeau, the hat I’m in love with. It is at this point synonomous with my character, and will be a feature of her MSQ glamours for as long as I main Bard on her. Or unless we get a Bard hat I love even more which also shows Miqo’te ears, but that seems unlikely at this point.

I compiled a list of designs in the past to share some favorite Final Fantasy XIV glamours from the Eorzea Collection website. With the Endwalker expansion released, there are quite a few new options available and people have developed even more incredible looks. So I decided it was worth doing a follow-up. I’ll probably do this every expansion or so. As before, this list comes with a disclaimer that it’s personal opinion and purely in the interest of going ‘LOOK HOW COOL THIS IS’ at people! The machine was thrumming above her, below her, around her, like a living being. Focus on its heart, Cid had said, and your own will follow. She let herself sink into it. The thrumming was inside her, now, and she opened her eyes, raised her hand, and saw the metal fingers flex as she moved them. She turned her head to the side and looked towards the catwalk at eye level. Cid and the other Ironworks technicians were so small compared to her now. “I’ve got it,” she said. Milisandia blinked at Avilina. “The eikon-slayer and… an Ala Mhigan military commander want to take me shopping?” She still couldn’t quite believe she had woken up in Avilina’s inn room instead of an Eorzean prison, no matter what promises the head of the Ironworks (the long-lost Cid nan Garlond?) had made. Even though she had surrendered after the Overmind shut down, she was still (had still been?) a Garlean senior technician, Milisandia kir Squamatus, and had piloted a warmachina with full intent to attack Ala Mhigo.

A complete rewrite of the Sorrows of Werlyt questline, focusing on Milisandia and the other pilots.
