Just thinking about a time at the castle before Jester- a young king trying to raise his sister while also ruling a country with his loyal knight by his side (I just really wanted to sketch a teenage Monty and Augustine.)

The former Queen used to always be the one who braided Isolde’s hair so after their parents passed Monty learned how to do it for her. His first attempts were… not great, but she loved that he tried so she kept letting him do it until he got it right (with a little judgment from Augustine along the way)
