#midori yttd#shadowart#blood#self harm#now for the rambling!#i do hc that shin cuts but what i wanted to parallel here was the cuts and midori's scarf#the crescent shape of the fabric folding mimicking that of a wound...#the fact that midori has lost most of his humanity and likely does not even bleed in areas#while shin cutting is proof that he is alive#i think he isn't sure why he wants to prove this to himself#i think something about his connection with midori gives him... something like delusions about his own realness#midori probably rambles about what it means to really be alive. to really be human. i think this scares shin#purposefully and nonpurposefully#i also like to think that shin is desensitized to blood#that's all i really wanted to convey. hopefully there will be some that enjoy this macabre art
