Word Count: 500+

He is known to be a sweetheart, but he is a completely different person on the ice field. He can be quite aggressive, often seen to be matching the energy of the other team’s player.

He has a specific face that is filled with determination.

He is aware that there are several videos of him gnashing his teeth at players making the rounds in the media.

Once you guys have been dating for a while, there isn’t any sort of shyness between the two of you. The two of you get comfortable with each other.

He lets you take any clothes from his closet because he genuinely likes to see you in them, specifically his baggy hoodies and jackets.

He also adores seeing you wear his old jersey that you ‘borrow’ from his closet.

His clothes will eventually come back to his closet and be washed for him to use.

He is very affectionate with you, but he will follow and respect your preferences.

If you don’t mind, make a public display of affection (PDA) and give him the green light. It’s over for you. He will be all over you. He will have a hand somewhere on your body as time goes by.

He is also a massive hugger. He may come from behind and hug you while pressing kisses on your cheeks. He will ask beforehand if that's alright, of course.

He will press kisses all over your face whenever he can.

Everyone will know that you are dating one of the stars of the hockey team, either through his social media or in person. The teammates tell him he is as bad as Kirishima with PDA.

It was your typical day at U.A High School, and Class 3-A busy with activities. Izuku was busy training with his classmates, pushing himself to become the greatest hero he could be. However, amidst all the hustle and bustle, something caught the attention of his friends.

As they gathered in the common room after training, Mina noticed a notification pop up on Izuku’s phone, which was lying on the table. Curiosity got the better of her, and she leaned in to read the message. Her eyes widened in surprise as she read ‘Can’t wait to see you this weekend love!’ -Y/N.

“Uh, Midoriya?” Mina called out, trying to sound casual before her excitement got the better of her. “Who’s Y/N?!” she called out, a small grin on her lips.

Izuku just returned from the kitchen, holding his glass of water in his hand tightly, almost dropping it. His face turned red. “Uh, It’s… uhm, well…”

Kaminari perked up, he was always up for gossip. He grinned and chimed in. “Come on, Midoriya! Spill the beans! Do you have a boyfriend?”

The room went silent as everyone turned to look at Izuku. He nervously fidgeted with his hands, avoiding eye contact. “Yeah, I do..” he admitted softly.

Within seconds, a bunch of questions erupted from his classmates.

“How long have you been together?” Uraraka asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

“How did you meet?” inquired Iida, adjusting his glasses.

“What’s he like?” Todoroki asked, his expression calm, but his interest piped.

As questions followed each other, Izuku took a deep breath, trying to answer to the best of his ability. “A year nearly now. We met at a convention; he was showcasing his art last year. He’s really talented and popular.” he smiled

“That’s so cool!” Mina exclaimed, letting a soft laugh fall from her lips. “You should invite him over sometime.” She hummed out.

Izuku smiled shyly, reaching a hand up as he rubbed the nape of his neck. “Actually, he’s coming to visit this weekend..” he trailed off, his friends filled with excitement, continuing to ask questions throughout the rest of the week.

The weekend came quickly, and Y/N arrived at U.A, excited to see his boyfriend. He was greeted by All Might in the teacher’s room. 

“Welcome to U.A, young man.” Toshinori spoke up with a small smile. “Midoirya speaks very highly of you. It’s good that he has someone like you.”

“Thank you, All Might.” Y/N replied, feeling a bit starstruck. “It’s an honour to meet the symbol of peace himself..” he whispered.

“Likewise. Non-sense, no need for formalities. Call me Toshinori.” he spoke, making small talk with Y/N, impressed by his talent and rising popularity within the art industry. Eventually, he had to return to his duties, waving goodbye as he left Y/N to wait for Izuku.

Y/N pulled out his sketchbook, beginning to draw. His pencil moved deftly across the paper. He was drawing a detailed and dynamic piece featuring Izuku in action. The drawing depicted Izuku in his hero costume, mid-battle, with energy crackling around him as he released One For All. His expression is fierce, yet determined. Y/N added subtle details to the drawing, including a small heart in the corner, a personal touch that hindered his admiration for the other male.

“Y/N!” Izuku called out as he entered the room. 

Y/N looked up from his sketchbook, his heart skipping a beat at the sight of his boyfriend. He stood up and walked over to Izuku, pulling him into a gentle hug. "Izu," he responded fondly, holding him close for a moment.

"Sorry to keep you waiting," Izuku said, his cheeks still slightly flushed from training and excitement. "I had to finish a few things in class."

"It's okay, Izu. I was just working on a new piece," Y/N replied, holding up his sketchbook to show Izuku the drawing he had been working on. The detailed and dynamic piece of art.

Izuku's eyes widened in awe. "Wow, Y/N, this is amazing!" he said softly, feeling both proud and touched by Y/N's talent and dedication.

"I'm glad you like it," Y/N said with a smile. "I wanted to capture how incredible you are as a hero."

Just then, the door opened again, and the rest of Class 1-A burst into the room, unable to contain their excitement any longer.

"There he is!" Mina exclaimed, rushing over to greet Y/N. "Welcome to U.A! We've heard so much about you!"

"Yeah, Midoriya talks about you all the time," Uraraka added with a grin.

"It's nice to finally meet you," Todoroki said, extending a hand.

Y/N shook Todoroki's hand, feeling a warm sense of belonging. "It's great to meet all of you too. Izuku has told me so much about his amazing classmates."

After a lively evening filled with laughter and stories, the energy in the common room began to wind down. One by one, Class members headed to their dorms, leaving Izuku and Y/N alone, nestled comfortably on the couch.

The room was dimly lit, casting a warm glow over the space. Y/N and Izuku sat close together, their bodies intertwined under a cosy blanket. Y/N’s head rested gently on Izuku’s shoulder, his breathing slow and steady.

Izuku glanced down at Y/N with a soft smile. “You know, I’m really glad you came to visit. I didn’t realise how much I missed you until now.”

Y/N looked up, his eyes shimmering with affection. “I missed you too, Izu. Being here with you and your friends, it feels like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.”

Izuku’s heart swelled at Y/N’s words. He leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on the top of Y/N’s head. “I’m so lucky to have you.”

Y/N’s cheeks flushed slightly, and he reached up to cup Izuku’s face in his hands. “And I’m lucky to have you.”

The two shared a tender kiss, their connection deepening in the quiet comfort of the common room. As they pulled away, Izuku wrapped his arms around Y/N, pulling him close.

“Do you want to stay like this for a while?” Izuku asked softly, his voice barely a whisper.

Y/N nodded, snuggling closer. “I’d love that.”

there was only one thought stuck in your head at the moment.

this fucking blows.

currently, you were wrapped in your sheets as you battled the aftermath of overexerting your quirk. according to recovery girl, you were supposed to be treating this as if you were sick. and honestly, you felt like it; fever of 101, dizziness and nausea that made even water hard to get down.

part of it was your fault, you had blown past your limit during a training mission. class 1a was supposed to be escaping the villains (1b) territory which in this case was a city (ground beta). for 1b, it was supposed to emulate villains on the run through a city. 1a's goal was to make it to the city limits without being caught, 1b's goal was to capture the runaways. simply enough, yeah? but it wasn't just any training mission. you had been partnered with your boyfriend. you wanted to impress him, show him all the progress you had made and show off a little too. sure, you wouldn't deny that that part was your fault.

what wasn't your fault was that you were going against class 1b and those fuckers didn't hold back whatsoever. everything had been going well until about 3/4 of the way through. you knew you had past your max, but if aizawa had taught you anything, it was that the only way to improve is to push you max to increase how much you could handle. even though it hurt, it was manageable. a couple pauses to catch your breath. a slight shake in your arms and a headache that was starting, but overall easily ignorable. that was, until one of those fuckos decided to do a surprise attack and aim for izuku's blind spot. you didn't mean to, but your quirk had a mind of its own. before you even registered what you did, your quirk had sent the opponent flying.

and you immediately felt the backlash.

your vision got spotty and your knees buckled underneath you as you hit the ground. let's just say izuku was more than concerned for you. he reached for you to help you up and the touch of your skin was all it took for him to know exactly what was happening.

"you're past your limit y/n" he whispered concernedly into your ear as he helped you to your feet. he did a quick scan of your surroundings before diverting his attention back to you, "we need to go, there's no way his partner isn't close by." almost as if on que, you heard the echoes of his partners footsteps pounding through the alleyways of the "city".

a slight panic triggered in you as you turned towards your boyfriend and nodded, grabbing his hand, "hurry." if you both were right about where in the city you were, you just needed to take a couple turns to end up on the main road and then it was a straight shot to the finish line. you went to take a step to start your sprint but izuku grabbed your other arm.

"are you sure you can run that far? i can carry you-" he shook his head as if denouncing the statement "i'm too heavy" before it could even leave your lips.

"i'm fine deku, i promise" you shook your head, "now come on, we don't have time to debate this. run!" his hand let go of your arm as you sprinted hand-in-hand into the alleyway. turn after turn, you tried your best to ignore the pain that was increasing in your joints and the headache that was starting to feel a lot more like a migraine. by the time you got to the main road, you were really regretting not taking him up on his carrying offer, but you'd be damned to ask for that now when you knew how close you were to making it on your own.

when you finally crossed the city limit lines, you heard the announcer yell out "class 1a team wins!" but neither you or izuku could celebrate your victory. not with the way you practically crumbled onto the concrete. izuku didn't even think twice before scooping you into his arms and running you all the way to recovery girl himself. that's how you found yourself laying on recovery girls table before she lectured you on not following in your boyfriend's footsteps in taking shit care of yourself. well... maybe not those words exactly. but it was close enough to that that it didn't feel like too much of an exaggeration. but anyways, she sent you back to the dorms with the instructions to say in bed, hydrate and more or less treat it like a flu or cold. nothing that proper rest couldn't fix. 3-5 days was her exact recommendation. 3 before heading back to class and 5 before jumping back into hero training.

so there you were, sprawled out on your bed desperate to cool off while your insides felt like they were boiling and a nauseating feeling that moving anymore would have you spilling your guts into the trashcan by the side of your bed. there was a soft knock at your door before you heard the lock 'click' and the sight of a fluffy green haired boy peek his head in. "are you decent?"

you chuckled softly, "a little late to ask that with your head already in the door, don't ya think?"

he smiled softly before opening the door and stepping in, "good to know you didn't lose your spunk."

"who even says that?" you looked at him confused before laughing again. his eyes sparkled in the hallway light before he shut the door and locked it again.

"i do as long as it makes you smile," he hummed and looked towards the balcony, "think maybe sitting out there is gonna help you cool off? or at least opening the door to let in a breeze?"

"maybe," you groaned, " but honestly, i think if i move much more i'll die."

he huffed at your dramatics before sliding the door open. a chilling breeze blew in within seconds and onto your skin. it hurt at first. it felt also like ice against your skin. but even though the pain, you knew you needed to cool down. much hotter and you'd be sent to the hospital and the last thing you needed way a hospital visit because you decided to overuse your quirk.

izuku sat in your desk chair, watching you breathe as the breeze pulled at the sheet that was loosely draped over your chest to reveal his shirt. the first one he ever gave you, easily two sized too big and rested around your midthigh when you stood. the pattern was faded and the seams were starting to split on the one sleeve. out of all the ways he's seen you, dressed up or in your hero costume, in jeans and a tee shirt or even nothing at all, he couldn't deny his favorite was probably seeing you wrapping in his clothes. not because you weren't perfect in whatever you decided to wear, but because he felt special knowing that the reason you loved wearing his clothes was because of him. that they made you feel safe. that the scent of him alone was enough to put your worries to ease and comfort you from the demons you didn't even tell him existed.

after a few minutes, you turned to him, "if i had known you were stopping by i would have put on some perfume."

he cracked a smile and laughed before shaking his head, "i sent you a text but you never answered. figured you might have fallen asleep but i still wanted to check. make sure you had water and a snack, didn't have any candles or something still going, didn't have the door left open." he nodded towards the balcony door. he paused and turned back towards you, "feelin' any better?"

you sighed and sat up slowly, "a bit." you rubbed your face as you got your legs off the bed, "my insides don't feel like they're boiling anymore." he nodded softly, "just on a low simmer."

You better believe he was one of those players who groaned and whined about the time. As a collective, they would definitely snitch on someone if they knew who it was because their privilege would have been revoked. That was when the decision was made to ban everyone. The coach made them do more drills than usual as punishment.

He will complain about it to you. He wants to see your face right after practice, so he has to wait until he is completely done. Do you know why he will miss it because he won’t be able to stick his cold fingers and face upon your skin whenever he gets off the rink before heading to the locker room to change?

If he was able to squeeze time to go see you at night when he was beyond exhausted after taking a shower at his dorm, he would come over with an overnight bag to crash at your place. He definitely fell asleep cuddling with you. He has six alarms set up, which you have to turn off because he is sleeping like a damn log. He takes longer to wake up but will appreciate getting kisses for the first thing in the morning. 

Since he has gained popularity by being one of the stars of the hockey team, he gets invited to numerous parties, but he will always ask if you would like to go with him. 

If you do go, he becomes a guard dog over you because he knows some people party a little too hard. He doesn’t drink a lot and rejects party games. He would rather be sober if he needed to jump someone with his quickness. This is especially true if it's a big party with people he doesn’t know.

However, the pros of dating one of the hockey players are that the team is close-knit and will throw hands for each other, in addition to the significant others of their teammates. It’s an unspoken rule within the team. 

However, if you don’t want to, he wouldn’t force you but rather invite you for a date night instead. Yes, he will use it as an excuse for his absence at the party. 

He would go as far as to get materials to bake cookies because he loves baking cookies with you and it's fun.

MIDORIYA IZUKU

♤ Just the thought about meeting his parents made you nervous. You recalled the time you brought Izuku over to meet your grandparents, he must've felt the same as you were right now. Even though you were supposed to be the one feeling all the pressure, you could see that your boyfriend was nervous as well. Your boyfriend has told his mother a lot about you and she was eager to meet you which was what led him into telling you to that his mother wants to meet you. But you decided to finally be brave and tell him that you'd meet his mother.

♤ A day before you had to go visit Izuku's mother, you were thinking what to bring as a gift. You wracked your brain for ideas, walking through your backyard with your pets while you tended to your plants and crops. There were a lot of things you had that would make great gifts but you were very indecisive. Izuku had told you not to trouble yourself with bringing too much and not to worry because he guarantees that his mom will love you because you're just an overall amazing person.

♤ But of course, you can't help it. You wanted to make a good impression because you love Izuku and you wanted his mother's approval more than anything. Izuku decided to pick you up at your house, and he was glad he did. You had gotten dressed already but you were currently dragging this one bamboo couch that you had made. This boy has to physically stop you from bringing that couch because he wasn't able to talk you out of it. 

♤ Izuku tried to distract you throughout the entire trip from your home to where his mother lived. In the end, you had decided to bring over a basket full of your homemade items ― drinks, jams, and fresh fruits from your backyard. The two of you sat in the empty train side by side, holding hands the entire time. Not even 15 minutes into the trip, you had already fallen asleep on his shoulder. He really had no doubt that his mother will love you. He had talked about you countless times and his mother always looked happy for him.

♤ Midoriya Inko was a really welcoming person, you could see the resemblance between her and your boyfriend. Turns out Izuku talks about you a lot and his mother seems to know a lot about you thanks to her son talking about you all the time. She was super thrilled to receive all the gifts that you gave her and was a bit embarrassed that you gave her a lot of things. Izuku never thought he would be able to watch you cooking in the kitchen with his mother while exchanging recipes. 

♤ After dinner, his mother asked more questions on your life out of curiosity. She was taken aback when you revealed that you sold your handmade products for a living and have met a few high ranking people who were interested in your videos and products. It was Izukus first time hearing this too so he was genuinely surprised and super proud of you. The Midoriyas were so touched after hearing your backstory of how you stopped studying to live together with your grandparents. They both finally teared up when you proclaimed that you were grateful you met Midoriya.

♤ Inko can't get over how in love the two of you were. She could see Izuku sneaking a few kisses on your cheek whenever he thought she wasn't looking. She just thinks that the two of you were adorable. She eventually told you to stay over because it was starting to get late already. Your boyfriend brought you to his childhood room where you could see his vast collection of All might merchandise. Though you felt extremely nervous from staying in the same room as your boyfriend, you felt really grateful that he actually brought you here to meet his mother.

TODOROKI SHOUTO

☆ Shouto really never talks about his family with and he was grateful that you never seem to care about that at all. It took him at least a month or two into the relationship for him to get comfortable to tell you about his family issues. Instead of you, he was the one who's nervous because he wants his family to like you. You recalled the moment he revealed his family problems with you. He was serious about his relationship with you and afraid that his father won’t approve you. But seeing how you strong you were, he thought that he should be brave like you and finally tell you everything. And now, he’s inviting you to his house to meet his family.

☆ To say that you were nervous was an understatement. You loved Shouto dearly and you wanted to leave a really good impression on his family. So you consulted your grandparents about it but they told you to just be yourself. In the end, you decide to take a gift along. However, there was a new problem. You had no idea what to bring. You recalled how much Shouto has praised you for your homemade items and decided to look through your cupboard and shelves for something that could be a gift.

☆ You had a bunch of items which includes fruits, jams, clothing and furniture. Shouto has assured you that you don't have to go through the trouble of getting them a gift. However, you had already prepared everything in a picnic basket with bunch of items like makeup for Shouto's sister and a bunch of food that you made yourself. When Shouto had come pick you up, you insisted that you something else and before he knew it, you were dragging out a piece of furniture you had made recently.

☆ Shouto managed to convince you that you were being a bit too excessive. And so you so settled with some make up, fruits and other homemade items you made. Shouto didn't want to further The trip to the Todoroki household was a long one, especially from when your house was. During the first half of your trip, you found yourself admiring the scenery and on the other half, you fell asleep. Shouto first brought you to the hospital where his mother was staying. Rei was super excited when Shouto brought you into her room and quickly waved you over to sit next to her.

☆ You were stuttering over your words while handing her some gifts that you had picked up from your garden. Rei shared a lot of stories about Shouto's childhood, most were things that made him feel slightly embarrassed. Shouto brags about you a bit, telling his mother about your achievements and the fact that you had met with high ranking people in this world. In addition, he mentioned about talented and independent you were. You really enjoyed your time with Rei, she was a really kind hearted and patient person. She seemed to be very supportive of your relationship with Shouto, fully entrusting her son with you. Shouto was very relieved as his mother's opinion means a lot to him.

☆ After visiting his mother, he brought you to his house. He had mentioned that his house was your usual traditional Japanese house with outside views. However, you had forgotten that his father is currently the Number One Hero. His house was traditional but it was a high class kind of traditional. The first person you met was Fuyumi, Shouto's older sister. You bowed, introduced yourself and handed over the basket of homemade items that you had prepared. She seemed very excited to see you and had ushered the two of you into the house before rushing to the kitchen to get some tea for you both.

☆ You met Natsuo shortly after he came back home and he was such an easygoing person, cracking a few jokes here and there. The atmosphere was warm and friendly up until Endeavor returned home. You could almost see the tension in the air, Shouto has told you about the issues his father had brought onto the family and you were nervous. Much to your surprise, he's not what Shouto described him to be. All in all, it went well. Shouto was still a bit unsure on his father's opinion but seeing how happy you were, he thought that his opinion doesn't matter at all.
