As Election Day approaches, pray that respect and values come to the forefront. Pray that candidates are given the will to talk about issues first and resist the temptation to attack others. Pray that all political candidates across the country would remember the poor and vulnerable, and that those who are elected would take with them a message of justice to the halls of Congress. We celebrate candidate Yomi Faparusi nicknamed Fapas, as he begins his campaign for the United States Senate. Fapas, as he is affectionately called, is an immigrant from Nigeria . “I am going to look at things from a policy standpoint, Tennessee has a strong agricultural base which we need to support. Education is something I will harp on, if elected,” Fapas said. “We need more focus on technology, engineering and math especially in our high-schools. As a PHD. Yomi Fapas, has worked tirelessly for the benefit of the community. “I know every patient does not want to be there. It was my duty to heal them, just like I will help heal this State.” Yomi Fapas is seeking election to the U.S. Senate from the great State of Tennessee. He is a graduate of Widener University, Wilmington, Delaware and holds a PHD from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD
