So I was tagged by @writing-with-melon to do this character comparison tag. I’ve never done this before but Im sure it will be fun!

Edit: this took WAY-WAY longer than I thought it would and I think I know my characters now that before i was tagged in this. I hope.

These are the main characters for my W.I.P personal story: Scarlet Lining compared to others characters based on personality.

Amy Mc.Hale

Stanford pines (Gravity Falls)

Let’s see, Scientists who study the wierd and paranaormal, were both betrayed by their mentors/muses by unknowingly working with them and are paranoid because their boss/muse can see their every move and have slowly gone insane and are on a mission in order to stop them from coming back and destroying the world. ♾ check. Thought Amy can be a somewhat inversion of ford and is a more of a responsible guardian figure than him( but not by a lot),

Sasha Mc.Hale

Katniss Everdeen( Hunger Games)| Jotaro Kujo(JJBA)

Why I chose 2 characters for Sasha’s section is not because of favoritism, but because I couldnt decide which character fitted Sasha the best so I chose both. Katniss and Sasha are so similar that you might confuse them as twins. They are both independent loners who have a survivalist attitude. They both had to close off their emotions at a young age due to traumatic events. They're both cold and blunt and hate being controlled by higher authority. They are basically the same except for the love triangle shenanigans since Sasha is Ace. You could also apply some of those traits to her and Jotaro(Sasha would call Amy a bitch if she snaps) Though she would have more of Jotaro’s delinquent “Yare-Yare Daze” aesthetic rather than Katniss’s YA heroine aesthetic. 

Leah Mc.Hale

Grizz (WBB)

They’re both perky and energetic older siblings who want the best for their siblings. They’re the eldest siblings/leaders of the trio. Both of them have a desire to be famous and popular; Grizz with being a movie star while Leah wants to be a superhero(though she would audition to be a meme). They’re both sometimes selfish and ignore their siblings' advice in order to do what they believe is right for them and kind-of have a hero complex(?). You could say that Grizz is Leah’s fursona! (I’m so sorry)

Retsuko(Aggretsuko)

This one is pretty self explanitory, Michiko and Retsuko have a lot of interlapping character traits; their both soft spoken pushovers who work hard and have a hard time finding their true passions. Their also oblivious when someones crushing on them. There both also talented singers who become idols later on, though I don’t think Michiko would be interested in singing hardcore death metal at first, but she would find it more theraputic than the old way she would take out all her rage(by repressing it). Also would be michiko’s possible fursona. (you could also add nudge from Maximum ride into this but I cant find any gifs of her)

Gabe (no cannon last name)

   After some long hard thinking about my life and what to do with my old Powerpuff OC’s since I don’t feel like they don’t fit in to the Powerpuff canon anymore, I decided to recycle my PowerPuff and RowdyRuff OC’s and make them into my own characters for a new concept/series I’m starting called Scarlet Lining. 

The series/concept is about 5 teenagers living in a 🌍 where superheroes(and possibly magic) exist. The main core of the story is mostly them trying to deal with their past’s as super-human experiments for a shady scientific corporation. 

One of the main characters is a Native American (Inuit) girl named Annie Mc. Hale (formerly known as Britt). She’s 18 years old, has the ability to control/create ice, and is the more stern/emotional one out of her adopted siblings, Leah (FKA: Bea) and Michiko (FKA: Beryl). The Girls try to live out normal lives after what they had just gone through in the year 2013 with their parental guardian: Amy Mc. Hale

The story takes place in 2013-2015

Did your OC remember to pay their taxes?

Due to her powers(quick rundown: Most of her fat has been replaced with water; basically being one giant water cooler), Sasha’s weight constantly fluctuates. One day she can weigh more than 150, the other she can weigh almost at 100 lbs. Most human(and some spi) doctors recommend that she stay within the bmi rage for her height-5’5’’. When ever her weight goes above that range; it causes her to question her career path.

Michiko and Leah weigh more due to a combination of malnourishment during their time at the orphanage and that they eat mostly outside. Lelah is somewhat leaner due to her being a kwelman.

Sasha: Most of the foods she likes fall in either savory or spicy. Such as spicy cup noodles and even chili. She especially loves Chinese food, especially dumplings and hotpot. Ironically, she doesn’t like ice cream or raw fish all that much.

Michiko: She mostly eats foods that have a lot of water; so mostly fruits and veggies. But she loves pastries like sponge cake and ice cream cake.

Leah: Junk food, especially chocolate chip cookies.

What are your OC’s favorite foods?

Lelah: Most loved/Woobified( undermined by the fandom)

Angelo: fandom fave( though he would be called boring by detractors)

Sasha: the vriska lite ( h*mestuck) of the fandom(edit: would get called a pick me/nlog)

Michiko: Mostly loved but would be demonized too much for her actions(and that she’s like other girls).

Amy: Most Controversial woobie (her crimes take up a full page)

Gabe: Most loved asshole( in a ironic sense)

Which OC would be loved/woobified by a hypothetical fandom? Which one would be demonized?

Michiko: being born with scale like skin has caused her to develop eczema like conditions. She constantly has to mosturise and take long showers so that it won’t shed and scrape her skin. If she doesn’t, parts of her skin will irritate and turn dark green.

Sasha: her skin is constantly freezing and has deep frostbite that’s still healing 7 years later. She doesn’t do anything to help it except wear heat pads from time to time. She tries to stay cool in the summer but that causes her skin to be soft and sensitive.

Sasha: My Chemical Romance, Fallout boy(specifically the Pam ax album) and the Cab (she's still stuck in her emo phase)

Michiko: Arianna Grande, Whitney Huston, Mitski and anyone that sounds like them.

Leah: Ke$ha, Nikki Minaj, and anyone who makes anime op's and synth music.

describe your oc’s taste in music with 3 or more bands

Sasha would LOVE them since no one would have to pull on the cord anymore to get her attention.(Though if anyone touches her ears, thats a death wish on their part)

Everyone else is meh about it (except Leah and Gabe, They'll make memes about it)

Sasha: She started dying her hair around 14? At first it was red but later changed it to blue. It was mostly strands/ends.

Leah: Started WAY EARLIER. Like around 11. Wanted to be blonde like those animemes and thus started the slow death of her hair until at 19, where she kept it at peachy-orange.for now.

 What colors has your OC dyed their hair?

Sasha: anything that reveals her back or shoulder. She also doesn’t like wearing earrings (or any metal that touches her skin)

Michiko: Tight long sleeved shirts, skinny jeans, any fabrics that causes major itching, and any sweater that's not a cardigan.

Leah: PANTS! (she can't find any that can fully cover her legs).
