Shinjou-kun to Sasahara-kun 1 & 2 by Koshino

Sasahara is an otaku who is content being on his own and indulging himself in 2D magical girls; until he meets Shinjou. All it took was one fall from the school stairs for Shinjou to become Sasahara’s tail. Already having to deal with his elder brother’s boyfriend at home, Sasahara’s peaceful school life will now be turned upside down with Shinjou’s presence!

So when I looked at this, I thought, “doesn’t this look familiar? And then I saw “Koshino”: BINGO. The same mangaka behind Michi To No Souguu which was amazing so it was fun listening to this cd and reading the manga. This is actually a spin-off of the manga “Samejima-kun To Sasahara-kun”. That story is about the elder brother and his boyfriend. Unfortunately, I don’t have the cd for that main story.

Samejima and Sasahara are friends. They go to college together, they're in the same year, and they even work at the same place! But when Samejima confesses his feelings run deeper, their relationship explodes in passion... and irritation! Sasahara tries to ignore Samejima, and he tells him to wake up - he tries to accept him, and Samejima plays hard to get. It's enough to drive a man crazy, in more way than one!

Anyway, if you follow me on twitter then I’m sure you know about my showdown with Lizard-san at 5 in the morning yesterday. 

So there I was...sleeping when my alarm rang for me to get ready for work. Usually, I spend at least 30 minutes still in bed, reading a manga or watching some videos on YouTube before finally pushing myself to get ready. So it was 4.30 am, I had my room light switched on and I was watching one of the episodes of It’s Me or the Dog (don’t ask me “why”, it was just one of those days). When I noticed something from the corner of my eye. I turned to look at it and there it was, the tiny, little, creep...staring right back at me!

This fella was on my ceiling directly above my face and it wasn’t even fully attached to the ceiling. For some reason, it had it’s neck and one of the legs jutting out. Instinct told me that I wouldn’t want this creep falling flat on my face so I sprang to me feet. 

I did a couple of “shoo shoo’s” to at least chase it behind the air conditioner but it didn’t work. I then took a hanger and tried scaring it. Bless that hanger because the lizard then proceeded downwards. So once it was off the ceiling and the walls, I should have just gotten back into bed and enjoyed the few minutes of what I had left of my 30 minutes of procrastination. But the thought of it getting back up scared me so I decided that it was time to be ruthless and completely chase it out of my room. 

I had to move every single piece of furniture in my room because this dude kept going around in circles! And because it was on the floor, I didn’t want to risk having it glide pass my feet so I had to jump from one furniture to another. Brings the floor is lava game to a whole nother level! One minute I’m standing on my chair, another minute, I’ll have one leg on my table and the other on my bed railing while struggling to shake the storage boxes he was hiding behind. I was literally doing the somersaults, in my room, at 4.30 something am...trying to chase a lizard!

It then ran and took shelter behind my table. After spending miserable minutes trying to get it to move I decided that it was time to bring out the special weapon. I went to the kitchen and took the broom. Oh yeah. And in a few seconds the creep finally went out of my room. Never underestimate the power of the broom! I was scared that it might come back so I made sure to chase it as far as I could...to the point where it ended up going inside my sisters room (sorry Irene).

Then I looked at the time and what do you know, it was already pass 5 am. Bravo! I wasted my precious procrastinating time going after this fella.

Yep, it was a battle to remember!
