Ah yes. Season 15's fault. As someone whose favorite pairing is MichaelXAdam (Midam), I can tell you there's a good reason for it. It's one of the healthiest SPN ships (it can be so wholesome! Kinda says a lot about the relationship dynamics of the rest of the cast that they somehow managed better despite everything, including the show itself, seeming to be against them.) The fanfiction available for these two is divine. Basically, take two people who literally only have each other, who've been locked up together, seemingly deserted and abandoned by everyone. Their relationship was unlike others between an angel and their vessel.

I'm on season 5 of supernatural and i just stumbled upon a video on tiktok shipping ADAM and MICHAEL. And I don't think I can rest before i know how this happened.

I’m rewatching Jake Abels panel from Denver and I just can’t get over the fact that he made MichaelxAdam canon. I love this man!

This comic has officially run away from me I intended to be a few more parts but yeah there will be more. So I give to you Midam (MichaelxAdam) this ship brings a lot of exposition and some fluff. Also I think this comic’s title is Changing Tides and this title will make more sense with future parts. Their tails are based on King Angelfish and Beta Fish.

Panel 1: Adam is getting away from his brothers and rambling about life

Adam:” I hate this always moving don’t have a place to call home. I almost got eaten and got stuck in a cave for days I thought they left me.” He looks up when he sees a flash of orange in his peripheral, “Huh, who is this?”

Panel 2: Michael is fuming after a fight with Lucifer, dealing with Gabriel’s nonsense, and Raphael’s indifference.

Michael: He sees a merman sitting in one of the rocks that makes the perimeter of the courtyard and he is not feeling like dealing with anyone right now. “Who are you and what are you doing in the courtyard outside the council chambers?”

Adam: :It is a courtyard is public place,” Adam smirk at the obvious annoyed merman, “My name is Adam by the way. What is yours?”

Michael: He did not want to play this game but he was intrigued by this merman nobody dare to do this with him, if you did not count his brothers. “Michael, Leader  and First Commander of the Garrisons of this colony.” Michael expected for the merman to leave once he realized he was talking to him. He did not expect for Adam to smile wider and seem genuinely seem happy to talk to him. 

Adam: “That is a mouthful, I am calling you Michael,” Adam laugh when he saw the merman do a slight confuse head tilt. He might be a great warrior but Adam could tell this merman had a lot of pressure in his shoulders. He was the colony’s healer so he might be able to help Michael and get know him. 

Panel 3: Continuation of conversation 

Michael: What are you doing here then Adam?

Adam: Just getting away from my brothers well half really. One is moping and the other is drooling over some mermaid. Why are you here?

Michael: I needed a break from my brothers too. We got into another fight, I was going to train for a bit.

Adam: “Lets sit down and talk that could be better than just stabbing water with a spear” , he smile when he saw the annoyed look on the merman. 

Michael: “Its a Lance,” he huffed and roll his eyes at Adam.

Panel 4: More talking...ugh 

Adam: They sat on the rock intertwined their tails, “So what is wrong?”

Michael: This is something he never told anyone and he was going to tell a complete stranger this and a kid (well someone younger than him) at that. He let out a sigh, “Leviathans have been attacking nearby colonies. I haven’t told anyone because I don’t have a plan and my brothers will just fight. I don’t know what to do.” He was a warrior the leader and it was his job to protect his colony but yet he had no plan and people were dying. All because he was doing nothing and his brothers could not take anything serious especially one of them. 

He looked up and saw Adam had a small smile waiting patiently for him to continue he couldn’t help but smile at this very strange merman. No one would sit like this and just listen he couldn’t help but feel a warmth spread inside of him. Maybe he could court him, wait court? He never thought of this, he never had the mind or time. He would most likely just end up mating anyone that will benefit the colony but maybe he did have a choice.

Adam: Are you okay?

Michael: “Yeah I am good,” he smile at Adam and continue, “Leviathans are large sea monsters and they cannot be killed easily. A long time ago my father had to protect the colony from one of them. They wanted to set up hunting grounds since theirs was running low on food. So with the help of other colonies’ help they were defeated.”

Adam: What can kill a leviathan?

Michael: What I heard, aim for the stomach because their heads cannot get you and they are fast. They live in a trench a few sea shells from here they live in the deepest parts of the ocean. So will need to lure them out and kill the head of the pack so the rest disperse and we will be left alone.

Adam: “See you have a plan, now lets warn the others,” said Adam, their hands had inch towards each other as they talked. Michael gently pick Adam’s hand and intertwined with his maybe this could work.

I wish this had happened. What the show actually did to Adam AND the original Michael was tragic!

Adam Milligan should’ve been the final boss of Supernatural. Betrayed by everyone, furious and revenge-driven, just out from Hell, knowing that his brothers had tried to release him only once (and even then he wasn’t the first choice). The Winchesters had an ex-angel and a powerless nephilim on their side, but Adam had the first Archangel, the Prince of Heaven, completely in love with him and willing to do whatever Adam would want to. Only one thought — nothing more, they don’t need words after all those years spent together — and Sam and Dean would be gone from the face of the Earth. Adam had all the hate, rage, motives and all means to do that. Of course, the main characters always win, they would’ve found a way to defeat him, lock him up for another thousand years, but at least he would’ve done something. Some kind of revenge. Nobody escapes Hell’s most terrifying prison, a place so terrible that demons thought it was only a legend, looking like they are happy with their life, asking only for an apology from those who abandoned them. Lucifer wasn’t always a monster. The Cage turned an Archangel into the Devil. What would it in fact do with a weak human soul?

Adam's soulmate tattoo is etched along his back, between his two shoulderblades. All it says is "Oh. You're Dean's brother." Which was really confusing for a long time, because he didn't even think he had brothers. And then it just became really annoying.

Soulmate fics just make me so happy...... and this one is so cute.  For once this isn’t dean-centric..... but I guess that’s my bad.....

Ahhh you found one of my guilty pleasure ships!

1. Adam made the first move because Michael is too high and mighty to do anything about his little crush

2. Michael is also a sap and said I love you way before Adam was ready to

3. They only fight about stupid stuff, like if it’s Michael’s turn to do the dishes or Adam’s

4. Adam is the big spoon, mainly because Michael likes being held close and being able to hear Adam’s heart beating in his chest

5. Michael does. Boy’s got some power.

6. Adam can’t remember dates to save his life, so Michael writes him little notes about anniversaries on the white board that’s on their fridge

7. Adam is the better cook. Michael sets stuff on fire. 

8. They love just watching bad sitcoms on tv or gardening. Though Michael does most of the dirty work in the garden; Adam just feeds him lemonade periodically.

9. Michael would pop the question after sleepy sex when they were cuddled on the bed catching their breath

10. Small, family-only reception. Preferably on a beach somewhere.
