Pokémon Fankid Week Day 5: Gala!

Storm Stone, Princess Lulu (the coordinator), Princess Luna (the princess), Micah, and April Cerise were invited to some sort of event.... but Princess Luna happened to be "busy" so her little brother, Prince Mint, went in her place. (He hates that kind of stuff, but will do it if it means his sister can enjoy herself as a coordinator while she can. Maybe he can talk with April about her mom's research on Eevee.)

Do you have any headcanons for the aphrodite cabin? Like appearances/clothingstyle/any random thoughts?

Something I found important when I was writing the Aphrodite kidsis the fact that most of them are teenagers. Teenagers that stay up tillmidnight and sneak out and eat with their mouths open. I thought the writingof them being completely love-obsessed, drama queens, along with being a bit shallow,was a bit unrealistic. Sure – they have faults – everyone does, especially teenagers who are figuring themselvesout. I would see myself as an Aphrodite kid – I love love. I cry at weddings and when fictional couples getstogether and read fanfic at all hours. But these are normal kids! Sure, theyscheme to get couples together and their arsenal of makeup can rival awell-stocked sephora, but they’re teenagers! They dress casually and weird andthey make horrible fashion mistakes their siblings will photograph for blackmail.When writing HCS I tried to get that across – the fact that they’re teens wholove and fight with each other.

Alright, enough of that! Here’s some random clothes headcanonsthat I just thought of. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for asking!

Piper – tomboy chic. Hoodies and worn jeans and sneakers lookdesigner on her. Looks great in sweats. Once let Scarlett dress her and Jason is still recovering.

Drew – darker colors, but not nearly as dark as, say, Sebastian’ssoul. cried when the kylie jenner holiday lip kit sold out. Always has impeccable nailsto claw your eyes out with. Kind of person who’s nail polish always matchestheir outfit.

Mitchell – my son is the hipster that hates to be called a hipstereven tho he’s probably wearing a beanie. He and Micah have the most similar tastein clothes – both wear darker colors – navy, maroon, charcoal. Is obsessed withcrewnecks and loose tshirts. Sleeps in a band tshirt that’s too big andabsolutely does not belong to him.

Scarlett – says heels don’t hurt her feet. Is wearing moredesigner then you’ll ever see again. Has several of those clothes subscriptionboxes delivered monthly. You’ve probably seen her on instagram.

Asher – obsessed with memes. that is all. Unionically wears ironictshirts.  His siblings refuse to let himenter the cabin when he wears meme shirts. They burned his Pepe shirt and he’sstill in mourning. (He’s planning on buying another from the Hermes cabin but shhhhh)

Sebastian – smoke and leather tumblr aesthetic. Wears band shirts he’snever heard of bc they looked cool. Shops at hot topic. His leather jacket isworth more than your life. Scuff his boots and you die. if he’s sick/tired he steals Mitchell’s sweatshirts and dares you to mention it. 

Micah – soft colors, even softer fabric, wardrobe. Earthly colorsare his thing, is probably wearing converse like the little hipster he is. Wearsworn theater shirts where the logo is falling off but somehow looks cute af.Lou is proud.

Stefan – he, Scarlett and Drew are tied for most fashionable. Sleekcuts and neutral colors, probably wearing “a nice dark blue”. Would wear hatsbut he is kind of completely obsessed with his hair. Wears a denim jacket inthe summer bc he’s extra as hell. Owns the most v-necks in the entire cabin(they look good on him, ok? He knows his strengths and from how that Ares guywas eyeing his collarbones he not wrong)

Valentina – bright colors – reds, pinks, orange (she looks greatin the camp shirt) – are her thing. Hoards Urban Decay lipstick (they have thecoolest colors, okay??) Has a scarf for every occasion, wears the most dresses. 

Sophia – crop tops galore. Her motto? “Every shirt can be a croptop if you’re not that attached to the bottom, Lacey” is that girl that loveschanging her hair every few months. Worships Lana Del Ray, collects sunglasses. 

Lacey – pastels queen. Wears flowey skirts so she can spin aroundin them. Her and Sabrina fight over funny socks (She knows Sabrina stole her pair of pizza ones she just needs to prove it) and buys a new pair of patterned tights every time she goes to the mall. Shops at Forever 21. Persuades the Demeter cabin into aflower crown business.

Sabrina – Sabrina is young and wasn’t really fallin into her senseof fashion yet – mostly wears the camp shirt, a few bright other ones. Herfavorite article of clothing is her teal jeans and Mitchell once had to bribeher with several forms of candy so she’d take them off so they could wash the damn things it’s been four days Sabrina. Herfashion is impressionable right now – sometimes she’ll dress like Drew for aweek, Piper for another, usually Valentina’s. She’s still figuring out what shelikes! J

But Sebastianis teaching her the way of the punk and is very avid that she’s meant for thelife. We’ll see if it lasts.
