Horizons has been pretty straightforward when it comes to captures/evolutions so far, I like it.
#it basically does what it tells you it'll do#there hasn't been any doubt so far when it came to a chara getting a pkmn#kaiden was pretty obvious for roy last year#mibrim for liko too (they teased it in a pv and built it up so there wasn't any doubt about it)#kanuchan for dot as well (they showed dot and kanuchan together in the new year special which hinted at it)#and same for evolutions so far#nyahoja evolving felt natural after hz040#(nyahoja overcoming an emotional hurdle which held her back meant that the next step for her character would be evolution etc)#and same for kaiden now (they teased the evolution in the pv)#it feels organic which i like#hz052#episode notes#character notes
