The Good and the Bad: What can the future media provide to the next generation?
The future media, an era in which there will be more possibilities and options to make our lives easier and effective. With the constant change and continuous gathering of information, media will become more and more useful in the future for the next generation. But everything has its pros and cons. There will always be positive and negative effects of future media providing for the next generations. So what are these?
The Good provisions:
Not only technologies will become better, but they will also make our lives easier. Now that technologies have access to everything, we are open to more markets and businesses with just a click of a finger. Future media also provides more open communication and connections to other people. In the future, more and more companies and brands will be showcased in media which in turn gives merit to both consumers and sellers. With the continuous information gathering, future generations will find more and more answers in media.
The Bad provisions:
We are in the age of technology, and we the current generation stick by it. By relying on technology, we can get what we want with just a click and scrolling through the screen with our fingers. Too much reliance will be bad in practicality. Other than that, it is bad for our health. Relying on online marketing and online business will be bad for our physical being. Too much inactivity destroys our body and too much focus on media destroys our mentality. As everything can be accessed through media, we won’t need to go out to buy anything, pay bills, and more. Thus it will lead to isolation which in turn provides depression, anxiety, self-awareness. The other thing is, not all people are gifted with wealth. Technologies are getting better and soon prices are getting higher. People who cannot afford will have fewer advantages and getting fewer opportunities. Not only that, this will in turn divide the majority and the privileged class.

Copyright and Intellectual Property: How do I protect it as a young individual?
First of all, what is the meaning of copyright and intellectual property? The meaning of copyright is a type of intellectual property that gives its possessor the complete moral to duplicate along with spreading a creative product, usually for a restricted time. And for intellectual property is that a group of belongings that incorporate intangible designs of the people’s intellect. So let’s go to the main question. You can protect it by trademark or patents in your work, for example having a trademark in your picture, logo, or even catchphrases. This is a part of the strategy in marketing businesses. The customers will automatically identify your work by this trademark. And the patents, patents create legality and protection, and this prohibits others. If you want to take it up a notch you can register your own business yourself! If you’re planning a big business you need to have a business permit so the other competitors cannot steal your plan and that others will get the business permit and that will leave you out with nothing, that you start up with your plan. So quickly get a business permit so other people will not steal your idea. Implement Security. Practically all businesses are controlled using technology today. Because we are in a fast-changing world and technology will evolve as well. So what are some of the reasons why business men or young entrepreneurs don’t move forward to protect their Intellectual Property? Well there are a lot of reasons why, It is another startup cost one which is sometimes viewed as non-essential simply because it is not legally required to operate the business, It is also that they are unsure that the business or the product will take off so they think they might not need it, Or they don’t anticipate anyone attempting to copy them, Also maybe they don’t know what type of protection may be available for their product or brand, And maybe they seek to keep the cost down by utilizing free or inexpensive online resources. It's not easy to protect intellectual property appropriately, and examining attorneys at government agencies frequently have queries or raise unanticipated issues on applications.
That is why seeking professional assistance is critical. Skipping these measures can be costly or restricting in the long run. I've dealt with clients who wished they'd taken precautions earlier. So why is it so important to take affirmative action/step to protect your Intellectual Property? First, most people do not expect their company name, products, or product brands to be duplicated, but it happens all the time, and it can cost you money. Second, if your intellectual property is not registered, you may be unable to file an enforcement action. Third, if you do not protect your intellectual property in a proactive and early manner, you may find yourself having to defend it later.

Unfolding the Bitter Truth: The Dark Side of Media and Technology
With social media playing such a big part in our lives, could we be sacrificing our mental health and well-being as well as our time?
In mass communication, media are the communication outlets or tools used to store and deliver information or data. The term refers to components of the mass media communications industry, such as print media, publishing, the news media, photography, cinema, broadcasting, digital media, and advertising. Three billion people, around 40% of the world’s population, use online social media – and we’re spending an average of two hours every day sharing, liking, tweeting and updating on these platforms, since social media is relatively new to us.
People use social media to vent about everything from customer service to politics, but the downside to this is that our feeds often resemble an endless stream of stress. general anxiety provoked by social media, characterized by feelings of restlessness and worry, and trouble sleeping and concentrating, while some studies have found a link between depression and social media use, students found that depressive symptoms, such as low mood and feelings of worthlessness and hopelessness, were linked to the quality of online interactions. The suggested reasons for the risk of depression and anxiety includes cyber-bullying, having a distorted view of other people’s lives, and feeling like time spent on social media is a waste. It’s clear that in many areas, not enough is known yet to draw many solid conclusions. However, the evidence does point one way: social media affects people differently, depending on pre-existing conditions and personality traits.
Social media was started with the intention of expelling the darkness from the lives of people by way of sharing knowledge, networking and communicating with near and dear. It all started with the purpose of imparting its benefits to all and making it user friendly and intended to voice their opinions, was turned into a hysterical chaos given the liberal mindedness of the people. What started off as a source of knowledge turned people into gadget freaks, attention seeking, financial and societal deficits. Given the nature of social media combined with the need to be social has turned it into a platform to mirror the human’s self-image.
How has technology impacted the world we live in?
The main purpose of technology is to make our work easier and help us to do our work easily. But technology has also, a lot of bad effects on human life, Everything that exists in this world has its advantages and disadvantages. For us, it’s very important to know all about the technological things that we used in our daily. We can positively say that modern technology helps us in doing our work and makes our work easy for us but we have also to know from its bad effects on us. We have to consider the bad effects of modern technology on us. Social media as well as modern technology may lead to psychological and physical issues, such as eyestrain and difficulty focusing on important tasks. They may also contribute to more serious health conditions, such as depression. The overuse of technology may have a more significant impact on developing children and teenagers.
With the usage of cell phones and computers allowing access to the Internet, social media, and more, we can plug in at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, teenagers and children also live lives impacted by technology on a daily basis. Nearly everyone has likely experienced this problem to some extent. Technology has definitely impacted how we sleep. Many of us stay up far too late into the night texting friends or scrolling through social media, both kids and adults alike spend countless hours watching funny cat videos or other mindless amusements. It's hard to pull ourselves away from the apps that are intentionally designed to keep us sucked in. The attachment to our devices can also leave us feeling isolated. A significant lack of human contact can even cause depression. When the majority of our interactions with others take place online we may even feel disconnected from humanity, having every answer in the world constantly at our fingertips is a massive source of distraction. It might be as simple as troubles holding a conversation to difficulty keeping your phone out of your hand while driving. If we are constantly distracted by incoming messages and notifications we lose focus on what else we may be trying to do. We have all seen people texting or scrolling while they should be doing something else, and it's very distracting. The constant flow of information is overwhelming and there doesn't seem to be any escape but also thanks to social media many of us have extremely short attention spans. We are bombarded by short videos and small character limits which only adds to the problem. As a result, we tend to lose our focus quickly as we surf from one video or social media post to another. One of the most negative effects of technology is the rise of technology addiction. Internet use disorder or Internet gaming disorder is a fairly new classification and a growing trend, but many addicting video games are built with that intention.
We have access to some kind of tech device nearly all of the time and it's hard to step away. While this type of addiction still isn’t classified in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, it is a fast-growing phenomenon with no signs of slowing.

“Delivering news in the Present Age.”
"History of News"
Did you know that before the printing press was invented? Word of mouth was the only primary source of information or news. The returning merchant , sailors, and travelers brought the news back to the mainland or city. But in this day and age we are especially in a state of pandemic because of the Covid-19 virus. People often used their phones to play games, to see news, articles, rumors or gossip about celebrities through social media. And now as society moved from "old" to "new" media, news content has generally shifted from more-objective event- and context-based reporting to reporting that is more subjective, relies more heavily on argumentation and advocacy, and includes more emotional appeals. And journalists nowadays used social media as a way to post their news or blogs.
"Modern News"
In this day and age, a new medium for getting news has begun to catch up with and possibly surpass traditional news sources like newspapers and television. The internet is the name of this new medium. Although this does not imply that traditional news delivery methods are outmoded, it does indicate that the desire for internet-based news is increasing as a preferred source. As per Global Social Media Stats, about 4.48 billion people use social media worldwide as of July 2021, accounting for about 57 percent of the global population. Just like things stand, social media will undoubtedly remain a part of everyday life, with smartphones and other mobile devices serving as the primary driving force. As a result, we can conclude that the internet is extremely powerful. It's just so powerful that we spend the most of our time on it every day. Also, while technology has the potential to benefit us all, the power it holds can also have a bad consequence, causing those who use it to suffer. As a result, as people become more reliant on their smartphones, new media is on the increase, while conventional media may become extinct.

“Media Evolution and the Changing World”
From the use of hearing is believing to papers and languages to the use of machines to communicate. Now we are here in the age where electronics rule the world. In the year 2010, Americans can turn their televisions and watch 24-hour news from channels. There are also use magazines and documentaries to our disposals. Now, people can communicate with each other indirectly by the use of websites and online platforms. We can now share information through the internet and can be accessible by anyone. To think we have come up here is a huge achievement of civilization. Media fulfills several roles in our society.
The most important one is entertainment. In the past, writing to your friends and relatives is very hard since it will be delivered to them slowly. In fact, it will take months and years even to be able to receive it. If I lived in the past, for sure I will be bored as hell. As a person born in the technology and information age, media and the internet are my entertainment and life. In the early 2000s, you can only enjoy watching TV with someone and listen to radios. Now, you can post anything online with a click of a button and your friends and families will be able to see it immediately. Communicating with random people on the internet and arguing trifle problems and opinions. The world will always change no matter what. As the smartest creature in the world, our imagination is unparalleled and superior. Imagine, from playing physical games with your friends to playing online games. From having labor jobs and community jobs to becoming streamers and YouTubers. From going to school early to attend to online classes. From dictionaries and encyclopedias to google. Our lifestyle also changes as the world changes. I would say that this is the best thing humanity is capable of. As long as the knowledge of our ancestors is not forgotten, as long as we keep improving and improving. Media will evolve and the world will always change.

“On becoming a Medium: Gen - Z individuals as Modern Communicators.”
In general, Generation Z is more self-reliant, and they approach their world with a healthy dosage of skepticism—a trait that their Generation X boss may enjoy (but that their Gen X parents would undoubtedly appreciate), but that group-minded baby boomers and millennials may misunderstand. Insider Intelligence has been studying Gen Z's characteristics, traits, values, and trends in order to produce in-depth statistics, facts, and marketing strategies for what will soon be the largest consumer cohort.
“How Gen Z Communicates.”
Gen Z, the first generation to grow up with a smartphone, is accustomed to constant connectivity, more communication options (chat, SMS, social media, and in-app comments), and quick switching between business, friend, family, and other modes. They are more inclined than earlier generations to carry their style across media, including sharp writing, abbreviations and acronyms, and emojis to indicate emotion.
What is the advantage? Workplace jargon doesn't have to be so formal. We can get to the point faster and have some fun while doing so. That means creating a shared joke with coworkers or capturing the craziness of the moment with a smart emoji or crazy meme. And that's priceless!
“Gen Z is Inclusive”
Gen Z has had the greatest influence on our workplace communication by making it more inclusive. According to Pew, it is the most diverse generation yet, with over half of the generation identifying as a racial or ethnic minority. According to Pew Research Center, it is also the most accepting of same-sex marriage and gender fluidity, with one-third of people knowing someone who prefers that others refer to them using gender-neutral pronouns and 59 percent believing that forms and online profiles should include gender-neutral options.
Gender-neutral pronouns (e.g., "they/them"), the use of "x" at the end of gendered identifiers like "Latinx" and "folx," and sensitivity to (often leading to the removal of) words and phrases with racist origins, such as "crack the whip" when discussing a tough manager or "master/slave" in the context of software development, are some of the artifacts of Gen Z Not only does our workplace sound more inclusive, but those terms also prompt us to consider if it is truly inclusive. They can also encourage change if the response is "no."
