New character profile time! Hyrindelat Sailor, son of Captain Fi Sailor, who gave himself that name in case you were wondering why their surname is Sailor. Also, I have once again changed up some small things with the other character profiles because this story of mine is still a work in progress.

‑ A neighbor and friend of Kroen, who works and travels aboard his adoptive father's ship for a third of the year.

‑Often puts on a cutesy and innocent act, which he likes to use as a way to trick or gain something from others. Hyrindelat does have a good nature in him, however; he just reveals it only to the few closest to him.

‑ Has learned a wide range of skills such as tailoring and sewing, which Hyrindelat picked up from his interest in fashion. He is also, of course, proficient in a variety of skills related to sailing, and has also trained to fight using a trident.

This Creature appeared in my dreams last night and I felt an unnaturally intense urge to draw him when I woke up.

His name is Guppy Walker, he is a 2 foot tall magical entity who is also a ship captain. He is kind and compassionate, but also rather shy and nervous.

Chimera Arcana Lore Guide: Realms and the Physical Universe

The composition of the universe can be described in the most basic way as a supermassive web of unstable matter, suspended in an endless void. Scattered along this web are bubbles of stability known as Realms, which contain within the conditions that allow life and civilization to exist and thrive.

While the size of the universe and the number of realms is theoretically infinite, there are only about 150 Realms which are in contact with each other; most of these exist in one of two closely connected clusters, which are named the Astral Domain and Edaxian Domain. The remaining Realms can be found in the void between the two clusters, which is called the Great Division.

Realms can come in a wide range of sizes, with the largest being about half the surface area of Earth, and the smallest being only a few kilometers in length. They are all cylindrical in shape, as a Realm’s Seal, which helps keep the entropy of the outside universe from destabilizing the Realm’s interior, will always wrap completely around a segment of the universal web. All realms contain both a Sun and a Moon; the Sun being a disc of pure energy embedded on the seal, which provides a Realm with light and heat, and the Moon being a spherical ball of matter that orbits around the Realm’s surface, nearly outside but still within the seal. What purpose a moon provides, as well as their very nature is still shrouded in mystery, as no known person have managed to successfully land on a moon’s surface.

So this is the first entry in a series of images and writing that I have been working on for over a year; the Chimera Arcana Lore Guide! The intent of this series is to go over any info that may be helpful to know before the webcomic properly begins. This is all optional info, though; none of this will be strictly necessary to read in order to understand the story.

It's been a while since I last posted a character profile, but here's a new one for Noune's younger sibling, Kroen! Additionally, I have also updated the two older character profiles with new information and slightly different artwork.

It will place the object inside itself once it's found, and attempt to return to Kroen. Ascent Tether: Painted Jester (Basic)

‑ Works as a professional artist, and is also a companion member of the Painted Jester Guild, which Kroen joined so they can hone their craft & form connections with other artists.

‑ An investigative & curious mind who is very protective of their family and friends. Kroen is driven by a desire to take any advantage they can get in life in order to insure the safety of the ones they love.

‑ Has a great level of perception and conversational skill, which they sometimes use to scrape potentially useful or interesting information out of other people. This behavior has made some see them as distrustful or even a bit manipulative, which Kroen doesn't really try to deny.

Chimera Arcana Lore Guide: Time and the Calendar

Across all realms, days pass at the same amount of time, which allows most realms in the Astral and Edaxian Domains to use the same Standard Calendar with ease. Some realms or societies don’t use this standard calendar, however, and others may choose to use it along with another calendar of their own.

The Standard Calendar is divided into 9 months, the commonly used names of which are in order: Porcela, Mhatia, Suruka, Nilvars, Enotris, Rhaeos, Ovestin, Luzdain, & Valion. Each month has 36 days, or 6 weeks with 6 days each. Instead of the weekdays being named, the weeks themselves have names, which are as follows: Phorezo, Vynteko, Alirteo, Merenio, Larkodo, & Imaluxo. Time within a day is divided into 24 hours, which contain 60 minutes each, and a minute is 60 seconds long.

Last thing of note is the way dates are written down; the most common way is by starting with the day, then the month, and the year is written last. For example, 35th of Mhatia 3029, 35 Mhatia 3029, or 35/2/3029 would all be correct ways to write down a date. Some may also choose to write down a date in a way that includes the week, i.e. 5 Imaluxo Mhatia 3029, or 5/5/2/3029. In this manner, the number of the day in the week is written down instead of the day of the month.

Art of Noune and her familiar, Chitin Gale, who has the ability of "osteokinesis": specifically, the ability to morph and manipulate bones, sclerites, or other skeletal body parts that come from living organisms. This ability can also make skeletal segments phase through any other organic material, allowing bones to pass through organs and skin without causing damage.

Chitin Gale can also attach itself to people, which greatly increases the potency of its osteokinesis, at the cost of making the ability only usable on the person the familiar is attached to. While attached, Chitin gale also gains the new ability to safely detach skeletal segments from the person it is attached to. Noune often uses this ability to detach her spine from her body, which is then morphed into the form of a staff.

In terms of personality, Chitin Gale is very much a classic punk, having a loud and crass demeanor and a general disregard for authority and manners. On the other hand, it also has a strong sense of justice, and Chitin Gale will always try to help and uplift those who struggle against oppressive forces.

I'm pretty sure the description took longer to make than the artwork, actually. There is just too much I want to say about her! I didn't even get to mention Noune's familiar, her contortionist skills, her protectiveness towards her family, or that she's basically the in-universe equivalent to a furry.

-Fueled by an intense and constant wanderlust. She is always traveling from place to place, attracted by whatever new and strange thing that catches her sight.

-Fiercely independent, and isn't fond of rules or instructions, although she will try to follow those made for common courtesy or safety's sake.

-Very honest and generous, and rarely asks people to do things on her behalf. Noune is also rather trusting of strangers, and is tolerant towards behaviors others may consider unsettling or strange. This doesn't mean she is naive, though; Noune does, for example, have a rigid disdain for manipulative and controlling people.

-For as friendly as Noune is, she struggles with social skills, and her odd habits can be off putting to some. This, combined with her constant desire to travel, makes it difficult for Noune to keep in contact with the friends she does make.
