ouuugh some sweet mianix? maybe encouraging him when studying for the bar sucks, or soothing his pre-1-1 trial jitters?

Phoenix Wright had a plaintive cuteness to him when he was at his wit’s end. Although it was no longer the doe-eyed innocence of a college kid in a homemade sweater, Mia couldn’t help but see echoes of it in the soon-to-be lawyer that was currently slumped defeatedly at her desk.

Now those bleary puppy eyes peered up at her over stacks of legal tomes. “Chieeefff,” Phoenix whined, knitting his scraggly eyebrows together. “I don’t think I’m cut out for this after all.”

This was not the first, or third, or even the fifth time Phoenix had said something like this. It wasn’t even the first time this week. Maybe someone else would be exasperated by now—but not Mia. She couldn’t count how many times she’d groaned the same thing to Maya over the phone, or to Mr. Grossberg or Diego through the jittery mania of caffeination meant to be a substitute for sleep. She’d always seen something of herself in Phoenix, so comforting him felt like reassuring her younger self.

Nudging a legal theory primer aside with her hip, Mia sat on the edge of the desk next to him. “Hey. Look at me.” She gently cupped a hand on his cheek and lifted his face up to meet hers.

“Mmm,” Phoenix sighed. His eyes fluttered shut as he leaned into the touch, his burning hot cheek nuzzling against her palm. He really is like a puppy, Mia thought, trying not to laugh.

“Phoenix, you’re going to be good at this. Okay? I know it. I’ve seen the determination in your eyes.”

 “Mmmmm.”

 “Do you believe me when I say that?”

 “Mmmmm.”

  Phoenix was barely listening. Time for a different strategy.

Mia leaned in toward Phoenix’s face and planted a barely detectible kiss on his cracked lips. “How about you study for two more hours, and we can go back to my place to decompress?” she murmured, stroking his cheek.

Phoenix’s eyes flew open, and he bolted upright with the vigor of an athlete. “Chief, yes, chief! I’ll do my best!” he exclaimed before brandishing the nearest book and flipping it open.

 That did the trick.

The problem is canon m8, one can dream and fantasize all day long but there isnt much indication that something might have happend between Diego's coma and Mia's death

I've read my good share of mianix fics, smut mostly as them being fuckfriends is the most likely scenario (with the added boss x employee spice ow<) so def a something i dig but a mia lives au where they get togheter, Godot gives them his blessings by the end of T&T and Maya gets with Apollo sounds like perfection✨️👌

So if you know something like that let me know lolol

Mianix week day 7: Free day - a sweet summer date!

Hey is there a possible chance that you would perhaps be interested in continuing your amazing fanfiction One shot, two shot????

I’ll answer this publicly, if that’s okay ^^.

There are a lot of factors that go into me continuing anything I write, the two biggest being time, motivation, and inspiration. Currently, I’m about to start my winter vacation (it’s Chinese New Year so I’m finally getting time off XD) so I will be out of the country for the next week. So if anyone is hoping I can write a sequel in the next few weeks, the possibility of that is extremely low because I just don’t have the time.

Regarding motivation and inspiration, I want to write and I have ideas but I am reluctant to commit because I don’t want to disappoint anyone if I decide I don’t like what I’ve written or if I feel the story works better as a stand alone. @mianix can attest to there being a giant back story for all the characters and how they relate to each other so this verse is something I have thought a lot about with the intention of continuing. I *may* have even started writing a potential scene for the sequel but I am trying to take it slow because my workload only just got lighter and I’m trying to enjoy having more free time to do other things I love. 

I will say that I am incredibly shocked and so happy people have responded so strongly and positively to One Shot, Two Shot. I honestly had low expectations because I felt that gangster!Nines has been overdone and I don’t think my way of writing Gavin has resonated a lot with readers in previous fics I’ve written. The idea sat dormant in my head for months specifically because of my own doubts in reader interest and now that I have been proven wrong, I am hoping that everything falls into place and I can sit down and get more writing done.

TL;DR: I want to write more but I may not have as much time over the next few weeks so we’ll see if I can continue it.
