Rutile’s content to do pretty much anything with you! As a Southern Wizard, he’s happy just to be in your presence. He’s a good story teller and enjoys just chatting.

Rutile teaching you how to do calligraphy & guiding your hand. Being patient and gently correcting your mistakes. He’s a good teacher, after all!

All of his gifts to you are handmade! He always puts in loads of effort and it shows. been on my mind since the last time i spoke about it (also cuz ive been in ship tags lately) but while akira would find it difficult to pursue anything romantic within the mhyk setting itself (stress, time limit, likely to forget them/u, etc), the rest of my writing points for them are a lot more Normal -> theres no active hindrance in that way. meanwhile my modern gran is majorly interested in space (to mirror the "impossible" estalucia) which is a bigger roadblock than their canon gbf setting, where the roadblock is gran themself & their unwillingness to settle down which doesnt match their view of relationships -> they end up being their own biggest enemy

i think most of your meetings would definitely be in the dining area; in which everyone else leaves and the both of you are left to converse and help each other clean up or eat leftovers, whichever of the two.

the rest of the east country could immediately tell about his little crush on you. although he denies it, nero still tries to stop shino from telling you himself.

nero prepares little snacks for you from time to time and personally delivers it to your room in the manor — it's just leftovers, he claims, but his smile that comes up on his face when you open the door says otherwise.

the lingering smiles and the laughter that roamed inside your room was a telltale sign of his heart opening up, little by little, until the moon would pull the words from his mouth — or at least, the next mealtime.

[MHYK] city of affluence location guide

hello! i made this guide because i couldn't find any other guides in english about this location. the gimmick is pretty fun to use, but it’s quite detailed(?) in terms of how the mechanics work. i’ve gone in depth to explain it, so please enjoy the gimmick well~

[i’m not fluent in japanese!! my rough translations of some of the texts may not be extremely accurate, but i hope i’ve managed to get the main point of it across.]

how the tea party gimmick works

when you first start, there will be a button which says “ お茶会 “ [tea party] with a bar on the top. successful training interactions will raise the percentage of the bar by 15%, while unsuccessful ones will lower the percentage by 10%. in order to hold a tea party and use the gimmick, the bar must be at 100%! resting will not affect the percentage. pressing on the button will lead to a menu where you can choose different teas and sweets to serve at your party.

there’s quite a lot of information to cover for each part of the menu, so i’ve cropped the picture for each part to point it out.

the top of the menu

the brown box at the left will display the お茶会Lv. [tea party level], the teas unlocked (signaled by a filled cup of tea), and the 交流Lv. [exchange level]. to the right, all the levels of the training attributes are shown for easier reference.

the exchange level corresponds to the amount of levels each training attribute has. after unlocking a certain amount of 交流 levels, in this case 10, the tea party level will rise and another type of tea will be unlocked.

about tea party level 5: level 5 is the maximum and is only unlocked once you have 25  交流 levels. it unlocks the special drink (if you haven’t unlocked it by chance already) and allows you to serve two drinks and sweets at once! here’s what it looks like (i reached the 10 image limit lol)

the bottom of the menu

the section in the middle, marked by 選んでください [please choose], displays all the teas and sweets you can serve! click on the teas and sweets to place them on the plates at the top.

different kinds of teas are obtained by raising your tea party level, and sweets are obtained by resting. the bonuses and stamina needed for each type of tea to be served are displayed in the text box at the top. pairing the tea with sweets will generally lower the stamina cost by 4, but combining certain teas and sweets will cut the stamina cost in half. there’s more information for tea bonuses and pairing teas and sweets in the last section!

finally, the button at the bottom says 開催 [hold]. pressing on it when the percentage bar is at 100% will allow you to hold the tea party and serve whichever teas and sweets you chose, giving you the bonuses from said teas!

as a reminder, matching sweets will lower the stamina cost of the tea by half while any other sweets will lower stamina cost by 4. the only exception to this is the special tea, which has its stamina cost lowered by half when paired with any type of sweets.

tea party level needed: 1 (unlocked automatically) bonus: random training attribute level +1 stamina cost (no sweets): -20 matching sweet: parfait

tea party level needed: 3 bonus: for the next turn, whichever training attribute is chosen will have its level raised by 2. stamina cost: -20 matching sweet: pie

the special tea appears at random. once it does, the special tea will not disappear until you serve it. bonus: for 3 turns, the effect of whichever training parameter chosen will be increased by 30%. (you can choose up to 3 different parameters; one every turn!) stamina cost: -30 any snack will lower the stamina cost by half!

your meetings consist mostly of rutile just seemingly waving to you whenever you'd bump into each other in the manor, striking a conversation that eventually led to getting to know each other. why, isn't that lovely — your hobbies seem to match his; another reason to have rutile talk to you again.

every once in a while, he scolds you — gently, like that of an endearing mother; you must look after yourself! his concerns go far, buying remedies and personally treating you when you get sick. he sighs, but a thought tugged at his heart: it isn't all that bad to be looking after you.

rutile begins to find himself feeling a new kind of tenderness around you, a kind of feeling that wants to try new things with you and experience life with you by his side. it was unfamiliar, and kind of scary, but he didn't mind. not if it was with you.

whenever chloe would make you his personal mannequin (or just a specially tailored outfit), he just can't help admiring you from afar — sometimes shino would even catch him and tease him a little. but he couldn't deny it, every time he saw you, you were lovelier than the last.

chloe and rutile both know about heathcliff's crush on you, which is why both of them play cupid and get you into their activities together — whether it's arts and crafts, singing together or baking, they've practically considered you as their friend as well.

it'd also be pretty cute if he started asking rutile what he gets for mithra when he can't sleep; you know, an obligatory gift — for being such a great friend! he claims.

i think heathcliff would be very obvious yet oblivious; which makes him all the more gullible to fall prey into your playful hands. when he realizes chloe and rutile had gone and left only the two of you he's only then flustered, or when shino points out that he's been hearing your name from heathcliff a lot lately.

when you're left alone, he couldn't just leave you there. which is why i think he would show and share with you his tiny little trinkets he likes to tweak and alter from time to time when he has the free time for it. his expressions are completely different — and everything he did was detailed and precise down to his very fingertips.

"um, can i speak with you for a moment? it won't be long, i just want to give you something." his fingers were reluctant to reach you, but he gulps his nervousness away.

"here, i made you a little something." heathcliff passes a music box over to you; intricate golden patterns surrounded its shape, with heathcliff's signature blue rhinestones decorated on it.

"it's not much, but seeing you listen the other day while i ramble on about my little tools made me want to make one for you."

for a moment, you held the music box in your hands, and all fell silent; the lump in his throat he had earlier swallowed had made its way to his throat again.

"this is gorgeous... and you made it, thinking of me? how cute!" you chuckled — he saw this coming. "but really... this is so stunning. thank you, i really like it."

heathcliff smiles, but this time, he didn't try to hide his blush or turn away his beating heart anymore.
