Here's my piece for Light Grey Art Lab's Foodies exhibit! It's my Lola's cream of mushroom spaghet! A very easy recipe to do when you need to feed a large group of people but very lazy about cooking, haha!

The piece I did for Ang INK’s Annual Exhibit: Brave New World currently shown along with other amazing pieces by fellow members in Arts Above Gallery located on West Ave, Quezon City until Dec 10, I think!

As newbies, the theme given to us was “first times.” First experiences that had an impact on us, so I decided to draw my first job!

This was when my aunt still had a catering business and would sell her food in a call center cafeteria during the wee hours of the morning. I was 13 and I, along with my other cousins, helped out with everything: from packaging the food to selling it in that cafeteria. We didn’t have any formal place to sell either, we just put the food on a long counter island and people can buy them. I remember doing this because I was getting paid and didn’t want to ask for money to buy this card load for an online game I was addicted to at that time, hahaha! So its basically me learning that [Aunt Agatha voice] I should work to support my wretched lifestyle.
