don't wanna jinx it but I've been on a really great roll with books lately
#mine#amina al-sirafi then mexican gothic now a fragile enchantment#there was admittedly a bit of a dry spell between the first two but the first was just so so good that i'm lumping it in anyway#it's been like a ''spending the day reading'' situation which is unusual and only happens with really good books#normally i just read in the evenings#amina al-sirafi is a new favourite and then the other two are good sort of in descending order#mexican gothic was cool as hell and i highly recommend. need more books like it if anyone's got recs.#don't normally go for horror so don't know what to go for so well.#and then fragile enchantment isn't doing much new really but it's well-written and enjoyable and just what i want to be reading right now#far wilder magic is much better imo but both are still good
