Sammy Hagar era is my favorite although Me Wise Magic is hypnotic. Sammy has that Chris Cornell rasp I like in a rock singer. Eddie and Sammy gave me a quote I always live by. A philosophy I list side by side with the Founding Father quotes. Van Halen also inspired much of my own music and solo arrangements. I wish they could have had both lead singers at once. #Balance is the best album outside debut. It was borderline industrial rock, which is what I do. I think Dave and Sammy call yoda been dynamic. An institution. Not the old formula of a band. But the dynamic of a unit. Like Nine Inch Nails. I think that would have made it all very bullet proof. Eddie will be missed. Van Halen is one of the few bands I always felt like belonged to me. When I was 7 years old I had a crush on Valerie Bertanelli. When they married it was like my favorite band with my favorite girl. Eddie seemed so cool and laid back.
