Shisui nii-chan and Ino Imouto AU but when Sasuke told Ino the truth of Shisui’s death Sasuke expect her to scream loudly in grief but Ino just stared at him coldly, silent cold wrath that could make a lesser men running. (And Sasuke would rather run too.) He could feel her chakra in cold fury in the interrogation room. Itachi sometimes warned him that a woman’s wrath is a terrifying sight and he didn’t believe it until now.
Ahhh fuck
You know what this calls for?
ROOT vs. Ino AU
Ino refuses to believe Shisui is dead and decides, as the nine-year-old heir to the mind-fucking Clan, to investigate it herself. She breaks into her father's office, she breaks into ANBU to recruit SQ2, she drags her classmates into it and skips a lot of schooling... she visits Itachi at the Station, before he gets bail and is shut up behind the Uchiha Compound walls, and ends up making friends with Shino, who lost his own pseudo-big brother in suspicious circumstances and has a hive that can track the last, fading traces of Shisui's chakra....
They go to the Uchiha shrine, Ino finds cane marks in the grass, before they're caught and scolded by the Uchiha. They're picked up by certain ANBU who may or may not be Squad Two (who are also not coping at all...), who exchange hand signs as they drag the two kids home. They obviously don't know that Shisui had been teaching Ino some secret signs she's not supposed to know, as they talk about the Uchiha butting heads with the Village Elders and this incident not helping the friction.
Ino realises that maybe something really deep and ugly is going on.
Ino thinks Shisui has gone missing, there's no body so she absolutely refuses to think he's dead and there's no way he'd CHOOSE to leave her, but... Shisui had a big bounty on him, so most enemies would have cashed it in. And! And! His eyes are super special, so he's obviously been kidnapped!
And, in her logic then.... Shisui was the one to bring Tenzo around that first time, skittish and silent and so disturbed by a simple shared meal, and Ino isn't an idiot, she knows what it means when the plants in her mother's garden respond to Tenzo's presence, but no one in the village seems to care that the last Senju is hiding in ANBU so where was he before all this??? No one seems to know he exists but he's right there!
The only way to get any further is... to snoop around the Hokage Tower to find where Tenzo came from and where Shisui could be now instead.
She's caught by ANBU, of course, and brought before Sarutobi, who is sympathetic as he knows that Inoichi is not coping, but firm that this cannot happen again. Ino demands to know if the Sandaime is aware that really special, talented young Shinobi are going missing (meaning Shino's Torune, Tenzo, and now Shisui). Ino bluffs and says that she's there with her dad's permission, that T&I are on the tail of the culprit, but Danzo is also there and his eyes are very very sharp.
That night ROOT come for her and Ino wakes in a bunker with her previously-KIA cousin FĹŤ leaning over her and the boy she is now sure must be Shino's adopted brother. Will she find Shisui kept captive here too??!?
(Is Shisui dead or did Danzo catch him first???? Who knows!)
That morning, with Ino's bed empty, Inoichi loses his shit

Are Lee and Gaara extremely affectionate around the children?
Tumblr media
Gaara: In terms of giving specialist care and attention to our children, of course. Lee and I have always tried to raise them with relationships built on trust and support, and have worked to encourage them to follow their own paths in life.
Lee is a natural when it comes to raising children. He was largely responsible for most of Metal's parenting, on account of raising him in Konoha due to diplomatic conflict, and in doing so Metal has become a very respectful and honorable young man. As with all of my children, he has grown to become someone of whom I am very proud.
However, parenting has been...much more challenging, emotionally, mentally and physically for myself. Not simply because I have raised three troubled children, all with essential and unique requirements, while also tending to my people as their Kazekage, but because I was not raised in a safe, caring or loving environment.
When I first adopted Shinki, Yodo and Araya, I was terrified. I had no idea what I was doing, and I feared that I would never truly be able to give them the home that they needed. But with the help of those I hold dear; Rock Lee, Kankuro, Temari, Shikamaru, Baki, and Matsuri, I was able to raise them with as 'normal' an upbringing as possible. It has taken a very long time and many mistakes and learning curves to build the bonds that I now share with them all today.
Shinki, Yodo, Araya, and Metal have taught me so much, and every single day I work to give them the futures that will allow them to thrive in a world without the pain and hardships that me and my own siblings were born into.
[Reblogging helps to share and support this new askblog. This stops my hours of hard work from dying in your likes, let’s others enjoy it, and motivates me to draw more of this AU! <3]

here have some (a)synchronicity
i skipped to them getting together. as a recap: tori ends up in an iwa prison camp and gets left behind after an escape by konoha ninja. the iwa commander there is..... less than pleased
content warning for torture i guess? it doesn't progress super far, but there are threats of sexual violence
*****
“I’m wondering,” Ishi said, pacing in front of her in tight circles like a lion before his prey, “what a suitable punishment would be?”
Tori kept her eyes glued on his sandals as he paced. It was better to just let megalomaniac ninja get their little speeches out of their system, she’d found, and then just agree with whatever insane things they were saying.
“We could cut your fingers off one by one,” Ishi offered. “Or hang you upside down and wait for your own organs to suffocate you. Or should I give you to my troops for the night?”
They’d thrown down hay all over the tent floor to prevent mud. Tori wondered how ninja avoided getting pieces of it in their toes with sandals like that.
The sandals turned toward her suddenly, and Ishi grabbed her face by one hand, his digging into her cheeks as he angled her face upward to look at him.
“I asked you a question,” he said, voice hard. “What should your punishment be?”
Tori didn’t say anything at first, and his grip tightened. There was a glint of metal out of the corner of her vision.
“You could still answer my questions blinded,” Ishi said.
Well. That would suck. He wasn’t just going to let her yessir her way out of this.
“Personally,” Tori said, “I’m a big fan of Water Country rat torture. Have you heard of it? It’s where you starve a bunch of rats—”
He let go of her face and slapped her with his other hand. It was hard enough she saw black spots and was knocked clean off her feet and into the straw. He’d been holding a kunai or something, and it had sliced into her skin. A long line burned with fresh pain from her temple down to her cheek. Tori instinctually raised her hand to touch it, but Ishi yanked her up by the arm and tossed her onto the table.
He held her down by her head, his thumb pressing into the cut. Tori let out a sad, desperate scream against her will.
She yanked at his arm, digging her own nails into the fabric of his uniform, desperate to remove his hand. This did not so much as budge him.
“Hold her legs,” Ishi commanded, and then Tori’s uselessly kicking legs were also held down. “Now,” Ishi continued, “I do think the troops will complain if I cut off your tits.”
Whoever was holding her legs laughed, and Tori felt her face burn in humiliation.
“But I’ve already ruined your face,” Ishi said, almost conversational. “I don’t think they’ll notice if I do a little more.”
The tool in his hand hadn’t been a kunai afterall. They were some sort of tweezer or forceps, glinting in the lamp light under the flecks of Tori’s own blood. He aimed it at her eye.
You are going to survive this, Tori told herself, even as she struggled not to cry. This will hurt, but you will live. You can bear this.
The forceps gripped her eyelashes and then yanked. Tori screamed. He did it again, and then dagged the tips across her temple and asked for other tools.
“Leave her front teeth in,” someone suggested.
“She dosn’t need her ears, does she?” someone else said.
Ishi pulled at her ear lobe with the tweezers, almost thoughtfully.
“We’ll cut them off in pieces,” he decided. “That will show the little bitch. Scissors.”
Tori watched, panicking, as shadows moved across the tent wall as tools were exchanged. Ishi’s hand on her head remained firm the entire time. She would not be escaping.
The first cut to her ear never came. Someone rushed into the tent, interrupting it. Konoha was attacking.
“From which front?” Ishi demanded. His hand came off her head, although the other ninja still held her legs firm.
“I— we don’t know. It’s like he— he just appeared in the camp.”
No one had bothered to restrain her hands. Tori carefully probed the side of her face with her fingers, and they came away covered in blood.
“What do you mean he? How many forces? Do you know which clans?”
Tori started tracing fuinjutsu onto the table with her fingers. Something that could be made sloppily and still work… something she knew really, really well and could do blind…
“Sir, it’s… it’s just one man.”
Ishi snarled and marched out of the tent, barking orders. The last words Tori heard from him were, “If it’s just one man, then it’s not an attack, is it?”
All but the ninja holding her legs filed after him. Tori sat up on her elbows and blinked at the remaining ninja. Even with his hands around her ankles, the man had not been paying her a lick of attention, watching as the other Iwa-nin left the tent.
When they were alone, he finally turned to her and made eye contact.
Tori activated her seal. He dropped dead.
Technically, because the chakra disruptor she’s made conducted through her, she also dropped dead. This went as terribly as dying always did: the wind was knocked out of her, and then she went cross-eyed as the Shinigami's thoughts seared into her brain.
Usually, the Shinigami was hungry, and then disgusted with her like a starving man being served rotting, inedible meat. Today the Shinigami was ecstatic: A thousand souls…. at last satiation… at last, a feast…
Tori gasped in shock as her body lit up with the fervor of a shark smelling chum. Then it went out of her all at once, and she was alone and plain and normal. Tori rolled onto her side and vomited over the edge of the table. Ah. Gross. The tent spun, but she was alive.
I hate doing that, she thought as she wiped bile from her lips. A thousand souls…
She got as far as standing up unsteadily when Ishi barged back into the tent, looking significantly more terrified than he had a minute before. His eyes widened further to see her up, his man crumpled over dead at the edge of his table. Tori stared guiltlessly back at him as more ninja flooded in behind him, all in varying states of panic. Weapons were taken off the walls of the tent.
“Is it the Yellow Flash?” she asked, hopeful.
There was screaming audible outside now. Loud, horrified screams of trained ninja realizing they were going to lose.
She didn’t know why Minato would come if there were no Konoha prisoners for him to free. Konoha undoubtedly wanted this camp gone, but this seemed like an insanely risky thing to try without a more urgent motivation. Just because Tori knew he was capable of it didn’t mean anyone else on the planet– Minato himself included– did. Maybe he didn’t know they’d escaped?
“You,” Ishi said, some sort of understanding passing over his face.
Next thing Tori knew, Ishi had one hand balled in her hair and a kunai at her neck.
Minato strolled into the tent, casual as can be. The whole tent froze.
“Tori!” he said, eyes brightening when he saw her. His clothes were completely soaked in blood.
Had he… had he come for her? Tori felt her bottom lip quiver.
“Ishi-san,” Minato said, his voice hardening and gaze moving up to make eye contact with him. “I was told to negotiate a surrender, but…”
Minato tilted his head and moved his shoulders back, like he was going to stretch. He raised a kunai. Someone threw a shuriken at him, and he disappeared. Tori felt the kunai at her neck start to press into her just slightly more…
And then it was gone. Ishi was gone from her back, and his sudden absence made her stumble.
“...I don’t really feel like it,” Minato finished, foot on Ishi’s neck. A dozen bodies now scattered the tent. A terrible, quiet stillness filled the air.
Tori’s eyes stung with unshed tears. She leaned against the table, her head feeling light.
“Any counterarguments?” Minato asked Ishi.
“Iwa doesn’t bargain with scum,” Ishi replied, voice garbled only slightly by the foot on his neck.
Minato just raised his eyebrows.
“Okay,” he said, and then Ishi had a kunai through his neck.
Minato turned to her. There were flakes of red in his golden hair and blood splatter across his nose.
His shoulders sagged in evident relief.
“Tori!” he repeated, stepping up to her. He held up his hands to indicate no weapons. He grinned at her, and it was like watching the sun rise. “Are you okay? I was worried.”
“Y– yeah,” she replied. She pushed hair out her face, and Minato’s smile dimmed as his eyes traced the line of the gash on her face. “Um… the Konoha prisoners all escaped.”
Minato produced a miraculously mostly-clean handkerchief from his vest.
“I know,” he said. He carefully tucked hair behind her ear and began to dab around the gash, cleaning blood from her face. “I came to get you.”
Tori let out the world's most pathetic hiccup and began to sob. It wasn’t exactly loud, but once the tears started, she couldn’t make them stop. Her breath turned ragged. It was pathetic and deeply embarrassing, but she felt safe to be embarrassing around Minato.
“Hey, hey,” Minato said, and he ran his fingers through her hair a few times, picking pieces of straw out. “You’re safe now. No one can hurt you.”
“It’s not that,” Tori said, wiping tears from her eyes. She took a deep breath and willed her voice to be steady. “No one’s… no one’s ever saved me like this before. You came for me?”
“Of course for you,” Minato said, smile broadening. His fingertips lingered on the uninjured side of her face. Tori couldn’t tell if the metallic scent of blood was from her own face or his fingers. “Um, I did kill a lot of people, though. In case that upsets you–”
“I know,” Tori cut him off. Minato had just become the deadliest ninja in history, just for her. She stared into his eyes. He did look happy to see her, and relieved, but also he seemed… nervous?
“I want to hug you,” Minato said carefully. “But I am… very gross right now.”
His uniform had turned brown with blood. He smelled absolutely awful, too.
“You could kiss me instead,” Tori offered.
Minato blinked down at her in a way that made her doubt for a second that she’d read the room right. Surely the fifteen or so dead men in the room he’d killed for her, plus the way he was metaphorically wringing his hand like a nervous prom date, meant he was into her?
But then his entire face lit up, the force of his smile making his eyes crinkle up.
“Okay, yeah,” he said, his hand cupping her chin. “I can manage that without getting blood on you.”
He tilted her head back and leaned over her, very careful that their bodies didn’t meet. It was a very polite, gentlemanly kiss. Tori very carefully put her hands on his chest and… oh god it was wet and sticky and hot from the human bodies it came out of.
Well, she thought, I’ve done grosser things.
She wrapped her arms around the back of his neck and pressed herself fully into him, bloody clothes be damned. Minato let out a happy little moan at the back of his throat, but then pulled his face away from her, even as his arms went around her waist.
“I don’t want to hurt your face injury,” he said.
“I don’t care,” Tori replied. “I want you.”
She yanked him down by the front of his vest. He complied, his grip on her tightening. Her clothes were damp and sticky where his arms met her body. He walked her back toward the table.
“Don’t touch the seal,” Tori said, panting as she broke their kiss. It probably wouldn’t work a second time, but if it did… “It’ll kill you.”
“Of course it will,” Minato replied with a laugh. He picked her up by the waist and sat her on the table.
Kissing him did tug painfully at the gash on her face, but it was doing very exciting things to the rest of her. She wrapped her legs around his hips and her arms around the back of his shoulders.
After not nearly enough time making out, Minato broke away again. His eyes were glassy.
“I do have to do a couple things,” he said, voice rough. “Then we can… continue. Don’t worry. I’ll be fast.”
He winked. Tori pouted performatively at him.
“Here,” he said, handing her one of his special marked kunai. “And here.”
He handed her a bottle of ink and a brush. He did not give her any instructions for them; she assumed it was to make her feel safer while he went off to make sure he hadn’t missed anyone in his massacre.
“Konoha will want the body…” he muttered, turning to Ishi.
Minato was quick about storing the commander’s body in a scroll, and then he vanished into thin air for roughly seven minutes while Tori sat around in a tent filled with dead people, feeling impatient and unsatisfied.
She pocketed the fuinjutsu tools and clutched the kunai to her while she pushed the flap of the tent open. It was dusk, and she had full view of literal piles of bodies outside. The camp was unnaturally silent. The ground was muddy with fresh blood. The air smelled metallic, with just the starting hint of putrid rot setting in.
Deadliest ninja alive… just for her. The thought made her giddy.
Tori reentered the tent. It was a command station, so it had to have a first aid kit somewhere.
“That’s smart,” Minato said when he reappeared, and Tori nearly dropped the bottle of rubbing alcohol she was examining. “How do you feel about relocating?”
Right now, Tori would let him take her anywhere, as long as they could be alone.
He took her to a house, out in the middle of nowhere, near the Fire Country border. One of his old genin teammates had found it on a recent mission. It was recently abandoned, he told her, so it still had running utilities.
It also had most furniture and kitchen supplies in the combined living area and range, Tori noted. It wasn’t unusual for civilians to decide their safest move during this war was to suddenly leave their homes without settling any of their affairs, but it was also common for ninja to just kill a family and use their house.
She decided now wasn’t the time to ask clarifying questions and potentially ruin the mood. If ninja had killed whoever lived in this little two bedroom cottage, it probably was Minato or his teammate. Minato obviously had zero issues with killing, but she knew he found harassing or murdering civilians for petty reasons to be distasteful. If Minat wanted to use your house, he’d just smile and tell you to get out.
Tori was distracted from these thoughts when Minato unzipped his vest and shrugged it off. His shirt underneath was still dark blue, in hilarious contrast to his bloodsoaked sleeves. She let out a laugh as Minato dropped the vest. It made a disgusting squelching noise as it hit the floor. Minato wrinkled his nose at it.
“I am not looking forward to digging my supplies out of that,” he said.
The cottage was a cozy little thing, and Tori made Minato put towels down on the furniture before they sat anywhere, excepting the lid of the toilet. She sat there primly while he cleaned the gash on her face for her, and dressed it with butterfly bandages from her stolen medical kit.
The bathroom was cramped, so they then stepped out of the bathroom into the main bedroom. Tori watched keenly while Minato peeled his disgusting outer shirt and pants off. Underneath he wore mesh armor.
“Oh gods, the blood even got under it,” he complained, pulling the hem of his shirt away to peer down it, looking forlorn.
“Are you injured at all?” Tori asked.
Minato stripped further down to just his underwear, which was enough layers deep to be mostly blood-free, and he seemed surprised to find he did have a few injuries. Tori supposed adrenaline and high speed fights made it difficult to notice.
Minato could dodge basically anything, but sometimes he did have to take a hit in order to make a blow on an opponent. His shins and forearms were a constellation of minor bruises and burns from hits that dragged his armor against his skin. He had a few nicks on his fingers from his own weapons.
“Shout out to whoever did that,” he said of a huge bruise on his lower rib cage.
He identified the shape as probably being from a kick. He did not remember being kicked.
“It was… kind of a blur,” he said. “I was just focused on getting them out of my way. I don’t remember individuals.”
Tori pulled off her own clothes next. They did, unfortunately, now have brown blood stains exactly where she’d pressed herself up against Minato, including darker stains on the inner thighs of her pants where she’d wrapped her legs around him.
Tori also had a bunch of bruises from who fucking knew what. Hers were less cool, in her opinion, because at least some of them were from events such as “tripping in the woods.”
“That is a hand,” Minato suddenly said, his own hand coming up to brush his fingers over a bruise on her upper arm.
“I guess someone grabbed me,” Tori mused. You could see individual finger marks in the bruise.
Minato frowned. Tori fluttered her eyelashes, and she could feel the difference in weight from where half of one eye’s lashes had been pulled out. She decided she didn’t care right now; Minato was looking at her in a way that made her feel sexy regardless.
“Are you going to go all overprotective on me?” she asked in her best teasing lilt, only half-joking. It was kind of a dumb, slightly toxic fantasy, but also, consider: it would be hot.
“Well, whoever did that is almost certainly already dead,” Minato replied dryly. “So I think it would be a moot point.”
His hand skimmed down her arm and then wrapped around her wrist. His touch felt hot, and goosebumps covered her arm in his wake. She took another step toward him, so they were only inches apart. He had a few random smears of blood over his shoulders and chest. Tori traced them with her fingers, then ran her hand over the bruise on his torso. Minato shivered.
“Tori, I…” His voice cracked and she raised her eyebrows. “I really, really like you.”
Tori felt her stomach flip over and squeeze in the best way. Her toes curled with the excited warmth that spread through her. She put one hand over either side of his face, and he just stared down at her with a hunger she’d been dying to see on him.
Deadliest ninja alive for me, Tori thought.
Outloud, she said, “Good,” and then pulled him down into a kiss.
They had, maybe, been planning to go back into the bathroom and shower before they did this. But Minato touched her like he wanted her, like he cared about her, and Tori did not have a single complaint when they moved to the bed.
“This is also a hand,” Minato observed of her ankle from between her legs. He absentmindedly kissed the inside of her calf.
“That guy’s definitely dead,” Tori replied. Her cheeks were hot and her stomach was buzzing with excited nerves.
Minato hummed and kissed the inside of her thigh next. Tori watched as his nose brushed against her skin, and he left a trail of kisses moving further up.
The blood splatter over the bridge of his nose continued onto his cheek. It was, very possibly, blood from multiple people. A flake had come off on her thigh.
“Minato…” Tori started, and he paused, lips still against her skin, eyes meeting hers. “You are covered in blood.”
“Oh,” Minato said, sitting up fully. “Do you want us to clean up first?”
His face looked so eager to please, a stark contrast with the blood in his hair. That fact that she was also dirty and gross didn’t seem to bother him in the slightest.
“No,” Tori decided. “Keep going.”

*Gaara and Lee taking their sons trick or treating* Shinki: Father, I’m still not sure I understand the concept of this.
Gaara, sighing: Son. There is no concept. The point is have fun, get some candy, and be a child.
Lee: Your dad is right, Shinki-kun. Just try and have some fun! Right, Metal?
Metal: HAI, father! I will not let you down! I will get more candy than any other child in Konoha!!
Lee: Metal, that’s not the objective here. I only want you to have fun and —
Shinki: It’s a competition between us and others? Well that makes more sense! Father, why didn’t you say so in the first place??
Metal: Shinki, let’s team up and destroy our candy-seeking enemies! We will visit ten times more houses than anybody, and our yield will be a hundred times better than even the most ambitious trick or treater!
Shinki: An excellent idea. You utilize your taijutsu, I’ll use my iron sand, and we’ll be unstoppable.
*the two run off, leaving Gaara and Lee behind*
Gaara: A movie. THIS is why I said we should just stay in Suna and watch scary movies with the kids!
*children are heard screaming in the distance as a cloud of black sand rises up*
Lee: *sighs* May as well stop at Naruto’s office and pay him ahead of time for property damage…

sp completely missed the point of vote2. vote2 was a 'battle' between naruto and sasuke only, yet for some reason sp tried to bring outsiders into it. and they also took liberties and made other changes too.
in the manga sasuke screams as he punches naruto. it's a callback to vote1 - "can you kill me calmly sasuke?" because sasuke can't kill naruto calmly. it's also sasuke taking out his hatred on naruto (kage summit arc callback) as naruto lets sasuke take his anger out on him. but for some reason sp took the decision to silence sasuke during the anime version of this scene.
Tumblr media
sp made a show of naruto dropping his leaf headband and seeing his eyes reflected in metal alongside sasuke's chidori, when in the manga we don't even see when naruto loses the headband. the anime even made a show of naruto putting the headband back in his pocket (wow... all the symbolism here). but in the manga naruto keeps constant eye contact with sasuke with the narrator saying 'there's no escaping those eyes'.
Tumblr media
again, vote2 is naruto and sasuke, not naruto and sasuke and everyone else. all those additions to naruto and sasuke's rasengan and chidroi were for what exactly? kishimoto even put kurama asleep inside naruto because their emotional heart to heart in 698 was just between THEM.
Tumblr media
in the anime naruto lamented the fact that he broke the promise to tsunade, saying how he wouldn't die before he became hokage. but again this did not happen in the manga. it was reiterated by naruto throughout the series that sasuke was more of a priority than becoming hokage, to the point that during the kage summit arc naruto looked relieved and happy at the prospect of dying together with sasuke.
Tumblr media
in the manga sasuke never referred to naruto as a brother in any capacity, yet for some reason sp thought it prudent for sasuke to say this, even though from vote1 sasuke knew it was nothing like that from the start?
Tumblr media
maybe it's sp that doesn't get it... or maybe they do and that's the problem.
Tumblr media
so I think this scene can be interpreted in a few ways actually... but from the way I see it (and I'll give sp the benefit of the doubt here), it shows how after everything there is still a sasuke-shaped space next to naruto - the camera zooms in on them together, it's this that affects sasuke. but this scene still rubs me the wrong way because of the way it's set up and the implication of sasuke being affected by joining in with all the other konoha pals. it's been made clear many many times that, after everything, it's only naruto that matters to sasuke to the point that he needs to kill him to be truly alone. no one else factors in here. sasuke also doesn't care what everyone else thinks. and even for naruto, the fact of the matter is, even with all those konoha pals standing behind him, it's only sasuke that would make naruto turn his back on everything. putting sasuke on the same level as everyone else doesn't sit right. they even put tobirama in there...
sp completely dropped the ball on this. vote2 was the promised fight from the kage summit arc - "if we die you won't be an uchiha and I won't be a jinchuuriki - we'll meet again in the afterlife". vote2 was literally them on the brink of death trying to understand each other, too beat up to even move their bodies... all they could do was talk. kurama was asleep, there were no leaf headbands in sight, sasuke had his sharingan off, etc, cuz even if at that moment they were still uchiha and jinchuuriki, kishimoto stripped them as bare as much as he could as they finally faced their feelings and reconciled... a happier version of the outcome predicted by naruto at the kage summit arc, but close to it, dangling on the edge. nothing else mattered except naruto and sasuke.
and then afterwards sp really showed sasuke in prison, restrained in every possible way even though this never happened in the manga. the cherry on top.

Idea since you keep tagging me with DP X Naruto
Danny decides to summon a teacher to help him learn how to fight. He gets either Hiruzen (3rd Hokage) or Jiriya (Sanin), or somebody else if they tickler your fancy
Oh Jiriya would fuckin DIE die. Like... it's a toss up, who kills him first? Maddie or Sam.
Hiruzen though? Now THAT is interesting? Cause he's a complicated dude. Complicit in atrocities yet? You can argue that he very much was a product of his environment, shaped by decades of loss and trauma. Danzo was, regrettably, CORRECT in saying? He was weak.
He could not COMMIT.
A wishy-washy scholar that became a military leader instead, his heart wished to teach, to grow and be kind... but that was not the position he HELD. He could not gather the strength to be decisive. To inspire loyalty.
He was strong. He lived long.
But in the end?
He was a PROFESSOR.
And Konoha did not need teaching. It needed Leadership. Charisma and unification. Hope. A clear and decisive void of Danzos. It needed a shallow grave out back for traitors and certain sorts of trouble makers, and peace upon it's streets.
So in a way? It DOES make sense? That he would not rest. COULD NOT rest. Not after what he knew he had done. How he had failed his Mentor's final task of him. He tried. He would like to say he did his best.
But he knows he did not.
He does not feel he DESERVES the Pure Lands. Does not feel he has EARNED his right to rest. Or... perhaps, if he is honest, he will admit he is afraid.
That they will forgive him. That they will not.
That his sins will be waiting there, for answers he knows his answers aren't good enough for.
There is... relief. In the strangeness. The incomprehensible bizarre. Green skies and floating islands. Metal people and great bear like healers in frozen lands. Sparring with the warriors under the Great Commander Pandora. Comparing tips and tricks. (Though his lack of extra arms will likely limit the usefulness of a few of those.)
Only? To then be called upon to teach again?
As though his LAST official set of students didn't end... poorly. The young man doesn't even HAVE Chakra. No one here does. In fact, HE doesn't either. Which rather renders moot most of his studies. Still... the boy's form IS terrible...
It's like watching a inuzuka pup fight. Not a child, mind you. One of the untrained puppies. The children bite. So there's at least that. He won't have to hammer in "you don't know where that's been" to an obstinate youth.
.......he wonders if the lad has forgotten he can create ice.
Ah. *watchs Danny get thrown throw a building* It appears he has.

Naruto Modern AU/Hollywood pt.1 - The Uchiha Family & Sasuke.
All types of reasons have led certain people to the level/status of celebrity. We will explore it in this Modern AU of Naruto. Oh yes, starting a new project (regardless of all the stuff in the drafts) as a means to share my lore and practice digital art.
Tumblr media
They are your typical influential family/lineage/clan in the world of celebrity-dom and Hollywood. Taking their root foundation in Madara Uchiha who made a lot of money exploiting the land’s abundant minerals along with Hashirama Senju when they created Konoha. He built the foundation block of the Country’s central bank and police department. Yes, Madara lost most of his wealth through the years to the sin of gambling and failed business ventures. To this point of being a historical comedic fact of the past, his descendant Fugaku Uchiha had to rebrand and start with a "fresh foot" in a different industry; Technology & Scientific Lobbying/Investing. Along with ownership in the industrial prison complex but he’s not telling you the second part.
Tumblr media
Finances magazine "The Ryô Treasury" loves to paint Fugaku as a self-made businessman who worked hard and won the investment lottery. These types of publications love to omit to the public the fact that anyone in the Uchiha clan born after Madara is technically a trust fund kid/nepo baby. Fugaku included since like most of his close and distant relatives were born into the higher class regardless of the money Madara lost throughout the years.
Many historians and the media do their best to conceal the depth of the influence Madara had on the country of fire and cover it up with the "billionaire gone broke" narrative because he had controversial political and social views that led to his fall apart from Hashirama Senju centuries ago.
Tumblr media
Many industries go to the higher clans like the Hyuuga, Uchiha, Aburame & Senju for funding since they own a lot of the country’s resources and various entities. It’s hard to tell because it is well concealed on purpose like how the cheap wine you buy at the grocery store comes from a vineyard owned by a Senju who operates under a different surname.
With all that status and money, Fugaku married Mikoto (from an unknown background) and created the main and most popular unit of his clan with his two sons: Itachi and Sasuke.
Let’s Start with Sasuke:
Tumblr media
He lived, along with his older brother, the typical luxury childhood with a large main mansion, a cottage summer home in France, maids, going to a 7-star school no one can find on Google Maps &, etc. The intense security of such a sheltered childhood created a rebellious fire in him. So, out of the blue at 18yo packed his bags and left his parents' house without warning. He settled on the rough side in the major city of Konoha to reinvent himself. After discarding his surname and blow-drying his hair, he dived into one of his hidden passions; music. With his dad’s funds, purchased a few guitars and started to compose music. Not only for pure love for the art form but in the hope of making a name for himself, to stand on his own feet and not hide in his brother’s shadow anymore. The fact that Itachi’s career was taking off around that time was pocking at his justified sibling inferiority complex (but he’ll never admit it).
After many trials and errors, he was able to befriend a few people while still refusing to disclose his identity. Like a random young guitarist coming up from the struggle, he created the punk rock band Taka along with Suigetsu (2nd guitar), Karin (bass), and Juugo (drums). They went from performing in small clubs to selling out large venues and becoming the most recognizable punk rock figure of their era and sending them on tours across different cities and countries.
Tumblr media
Keep in mind they were able to pierce the market in Iwagakure due to the large rock music scene bringing a new sound standing out from the traditional heavy metal of the country of stone. They couldn’t say the same about other large cities like Sunagakure and Kumogakure who were at that time close to the outside musical influences until recently.
Sasuke took pride in his achievements accomplished without his father’s connections. The band was extremely popular among teens and young adults for their good music, edgy aesthetic, and participation in the punk/emo subculture.
Tumblr media
Let’s not lie, a lot of their female fanbase was in love with the handsome lead singer Sasuke. He was an iconic punk/emo fashion icon for his legendary smoky under-eye makeup and spiky hair. All the members rocked some type of spiky haircut as well who were immensely popular at the time. Regardless of the focus on Sasuke, many of their fans love Suigetsu with his unique looks, great sense of humor, and certified crowd-hyping skills. Karin, the one and only e-girl punk girly, and Juugo, the sweet muscular teddy bear drummer who composed a lot of the band’s songs along with Sasuke. Their sound is akin to Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’s Don’t You Fake It and early day Paramore.
youtube
youtube
Unfortunately, the band disbanded 5 years later for many reasons. First, punk rock’s popularity fell by the wayside and was outshined by rap & hip hop from Kumo (this era was short-lived). Also, Sasuke realized that all the members were growing apart in different ventures for their lives:
- Sasuke: By mistake, his family name was discovered. Somehow, he avoided the fraud accusation but realized he didn’t want to be a singer all his life. He outgrew it Also his father finally reached out to him and promised to guarantee his son’s future career venture if he came back so they could play into the "influential family" unit image Fukagu wanted to create (think of the Kardashians). Being interested in modeling, Sasuke complied.
- Suigetsu: Always wanted to do something in his hometown (Kiri). He kind of went off the spotlight, rumors say he is working with artists from Kiri and is a DJ wearing a full-face helmet, so we might never know…
- Juugo: Always known he had a talent and passion for photography, so he pursued it as a career. After putting a few portfolios out here, he was recruited by the renowned fashion, designer Orochimaru and it’s in his circles where he met A-List fashion model, Kimimaro. They are now engaged.
- Karin: She is now a bass and guitar instructor at the most prestigious music Academy in Konoha. The breakup was tougher on her for many reasons but the fact that Sasuke started dating and is now married to the professional wrestler and fitness influencer Sakura Haruno played a huge role in it at the time but she’s now comfortable with their relationship, and she became the godmother of his daughter.
All these things happening at the same time made the disbandment a little smoother to digest for them but was a huge shock for their fans.
Tumblr media
Sasuke is now a model operating under Orochimaru. His handsome looks, talent, and father’s connections allowed him to make a name for himself. He keeps lending juicy contracts left and right. For some reason, he has regained pride in his family name and wears it publicly. Despite his efforts, he is back to being the Young brother in his parents’ eyes, but he doesn’t care anymore. Him and Itachi are 2 distinct entities at this point and get rarely mentioned together in most professional settings.
Sasuke is now busy and married with a daughter named Sarada. He can’t let these ideas get to him since he has a relatively good public image and enjoys his privacy (he doesn’t share too much about himself or his family with the public). He has blatant rudeness towards paparazzi, interviewers, and anyone talking to him. Pretty privilege allows him to be labeled as an introvert and keep it pushing.

summary: The genin squad and reader say goodbye to each other to train.
Uchiha Sasuke
Sasuke was already in a delicate state following the Forest of Death portion of the chunin exams. His curse mark was sealed, sure, and he secured his passage to the tournament. But he could see that the next month would be pure and utter hell. The only thing that he thought would get him through was being able to annoy you with his attitude.
That hope was lost when you told him you were leaving later that day to train for the next round as well. Somewhere far away. You won’t be back for a month. Sasuke didn’t really hear much after that. He would scoff, push you away verbally, the works. Yeah, you weren’t his friend or anything, never were. You’re abandoning him like everyone else, how could you be?
“Go away and train. It’s not like it will do anything for you.”
A melancholy smile would blossom on your face. Wordlessly, you would step towards Sasuke and kiss his cheek. Huh? What? But you just said you were leaving him alone for the next month. He’s absolutely baffled by your conflicting actions. Before he could figure out just what the hell was going on, you would grab his hand and slip a simple metal bangle on his wrist. In an act of defense, Sasuke would push you away and grimace.
However, that didn’t wipe the smile off of your face. You were pushed away physically but not mentally. Not emotionally. In a moment of vulnerability you would say to Sasuke: “I will be back. Don’t worry yourself, alright?” He wasn’t convinced until you raised your own hand and showed him a matching bracelet on your own wrist. “These will symbolize our bond for the next month. And beyond, if you don’t mind,” you would say, winking at him.
Even though Sasuke’s face was set into a deep scowl, his true feelings were betrayed by the fact that he wasn’t blowing up on you or trying to rip the bracelet off. He was just twirling it around his wrist with a hint of curiosity in his eyes. You would smile at him once more, a cheery and bright one this time, as you waved to him and followed the road to the gate of the village to meet your teacher.
The bangle would become Sasuke’s most prized possession; he wouldn’t take it off for anything for a time. While I do think he would take it off after leaving the village, in an effort to destroy all of his bonds and gain power, something repressed within him couldn’t get rid of it. So instead, he would carry it in the depths of his packs to forget about it, though it would frustrate him from time to time. When he eventually comes back to the village and sees you still wearing yours after all the time you’ve been apart, he is consumed by grief and tries his best to reconnect with you. Now, he can never be seen without his own bracelet — he even sleeps with it on.
Haruno Sakura
Sakura has a sixth sense when it comes to people leaving the village to train. So, I honestly think she would figure out that it’s what you wanted to do with your sensei before you even made up your mind. She saw it in your eyes when you looked up to your teacher. The adoration, the determination. It was the same way Sakura looked at Tsunade.
Your imminent departure was bittersweet for her, however. Sakura was certain that she loved you, in that thirteen year old crush way. When you pick someone and make your entire personality obsessing over them. You guys hung out all of the time too, goofing off and getting meals around Konoha. Sakura could really be herself around you. What would she do without you?
Maybe she could go with you! But Tsunade was the Hokage, she wouldn’t be able to do anything to train Sakura from so far away. So, she brainstormed. What could possibly keep the two of you connected for so long? If you truly were going away, you may be gone as long as Naruto said he would be. That’s three years. You might forget about her.
These thoughts swirled in her head for days, waiting for your departure day to bid you farewell. Would she be able to send you letters? Maybe she can visit you when she’s off. Or perhaps you’ll visit the village yourself!
Before Sakura knew it, though, she was standing face-to-face with you at the gate of Konoha, tears streaming down her face. The insecurities of the past few days rose up to the surface, and she moved forward to hug you. Before she could, though, you held out a carved wooden bracelet, the birch wood scraped down to perfect beads and strung together with a piece of wire.
“I made one for myself, too. So we’ll be connected no matter how far apart we are. I will be back, though, so this is only temporary!” you told Sakura, a smile gracing your features despite your tears. She would collapse into your arms with another sob, crushing your bones in a hug. You reciprocated, placing a kiss on her forehead before letting go and walking away with your sensei. Sakura would never forget that moment, and neither would you. Three years is a long time but she’ll wait for you. There’s an end in sight, and she is reminded every time she puts on your bracelet.
Rock Lee
Now Rock Lee, I think he would actually go with you if you were to leave to train for a period of time longer than a month or two. We’re talking about a boy who will absolutely be whipped for anyone he crushes on with a mentor that is friends with conceivably every jonin-level ninja in the village. Yeah, y’all are training together if you let him. However, he would learn that you’re leaving on the day of, so this scenario still goes down.
I think Lee would take the news very bad at first and dramatically beg you to stay in the village. He would be on his hands and knees begging you, holding your hands in a vice grip to keep you from getting away from him. There would definitely be tears shed. Lee is just that kind of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve and is full of dramatics!
You would give him a simple steel bracelet, with some weight to it, of course, while he’s still trying to get you to stay. “Lee, please don’t worry about me. I’ll only be gone for a short while,” you would tell him amusedly. “Keep this bracelet on to remind yourself of me. I’ll be wearing a similar one, so we won’t be completely disconnected while I’m away.”
Now Lee would be blushing and you would have actually made him stop talking for a second. His hands were still clasped onto your wrists, so you would help him up… sneaking a kiss onto his lips very quickly. You would make him question if you even did it, but he knows his senses do not lie. You just kissed him. Like, for real. His face would get even more red, if that’s even possible. There was no way Rock Lee thought he would be able to take another step in his life as he watched you release yourself from his grip, wave goodbye, and turn around to go.
“I need to find Guy-sensei! We will train together!” he would shout, going against his body’s instincts and darting around to find his teacher. Of course, I think Might Guy would be up for an adventure and to help his precious student experience “the joys of youth”. So before you leave the village, Might Guy and Lee catch up with you and your teacher, bags hastily packed and ready for a journey.
“After what just happened, I cannot let you go to train alone! I will keep you company!” Rock Lee would exclaim, making it your turn to blush. Whoever your sensei is, they would be more than happy for you to have a friend and Might Guy tag along, perhaps you two would be able to take each other to new heights by sharing the experience of training together. Well, if you’re learning from Kakashi he would be miffed about this, but him and Guy are still friends so I think he would still allow it (and be secretly happy that his entertainment beyond Icha Icha is figured out).
Hyuga Neji
So you really decided to go. It had been a point of discussion between you and Neji for a few weeks. After all, you respected his opinion as a professional ninja, so you wanted to see what he thought about taking some time off to go and train rigorously. At first, he would be against it, halfway for selfish reasons and halfway for practical ones. Neji wouldn’t say outright that he would miss you, but it’s implied, since he tells you with uncharacteristic vigor about how taking missions from Konoha is one of the best ways to grow your skills.
After deliberating with a lot of other people, though, the Hokage herself included, you notice that Neji was the only voice of dissent. Everyone else thought that getting out of your home to experience new things without being bound by duty was a fantastic idea for your personal growth as a shinobi. Naturally, you would become suspicious, since you already had an inkling that Neji felt some sort of way towards you. He was ever so slightly nicer with you, he would fix your mistakes during training more kindly than with others, etc. And you have to say, if Neji does in fact have a crush on you, you feel the same way.
You hatch up a plan to confront Neji about this when you leave, and when the day comes, it’s genuinely a little nerve-wracking. What if you had guessed wrong? What if Neji was just giving you some genuine advice all of those years? And he really wasn’t treating you with any favoritism, you were just imagining it because you wanted to? It was too late to back down, though, when you were met face-to-face with Neji and were holding a gift bag with an intricately carved wooden bracelet that matched the one you always wore.
“Hey Neji, I’m leaving for training soon. I’ll be gone a long time, so I… wanted to give you this bracelet to remember me. It seemed like you didn’t want me to go, so I thought it would be appropriate to get you something to remember me by." You would say this to him, put the bag in his hands, and kiss him before he could even register what was going on. Your back would turn to him and start to leave. Neji would grab your hand with as much composure as possible before you could retreat too far, looking into your eyes and saying "Thank you," before letting you go.
Hyuga Hinata
Hinata experiences intense dismay when she learns that you're leaving. She hasn't even had the opportunity to talk to you more than pleasantries and discussion about training! Mainly because you seem to brush her off at every opportunity. But even with this kick to actually go up to you, Hinata is paralyzed by fear. You're her crush, what if you reject her? What if you hate her after she tries to just become your closer friend?
The same thoughts were running through your head. You really liked Hinata ever since your Academy days, but her aloof personality towards you made you think that she is scared of you, hesitant to even interact with you for some reason. So, you tended to keep your distance out of respect. But if you would be leaving for a year, it would be perfect for a coward like you to confess and then jump ship.
That is exactly what you planned, though it seemed rude to leave Hinata high and dry like that. Thus, you packaged a letter confessing your feelings with a gemstone bracelet that you managed to buy in the shopping district. It matched with your own, so you figured that if you came back and Hinata was wearing the bracelet, she reciprocated.
On the day you left, Hinata was beating herself up that she didn't have the guts to go up to you at the gate, only waving you goodbye with all of your friends. She was sulking in her room when a messenger bird picked on her window. Inside of the package it carried was a letter and a small gift.
Hinata, I'm dearly sorry for the way I'm about to do this. I really, really like you. I understand it's the coward's way out, sending you a letter like this after I've left Konoha for a year. But I get the impression that you are scared of me, so I held back for the past few years. Please, accept this gift, and if you return my feelings, wear it until I return so I can see it with you.
Of course, the day you return, Hinata is proudly displaying her bracelet that she never took off to you with a red blush across her cheeks. You lean in to kiss the blush away, but it only deepens as your lips grace her face.

Naruto Episode Comments, Ep 21-30
Ep 21:
-wow Gaara is tiny
-Gaara and Sasuke are immediately having an edgelord-off bc of course they are
-Iruka is such a worried dad
-I love Kakashi so much
-I love how Lee talks, it’s so earnest
-I also like Tenten’s voice
Ep 22:
-Lee is so fucking goofy I love him
-also I didn’t know Lee had a giant crush on Sakura
-I do like Sasuke but him getting his shit rocked by Lee was really satisfying
-GAI I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
-Gai’s voice is exactly what I thought it would be and I love it
-I need a spinoff about Team Gai and I need it NOW (yes I know the Rock Lee spinoff exists and I WILL be watching it)
-Gai’s stupid poses are incredible
Ep 23:
-aw Kakashi is so proud of his squad😭
-“Akimichi, more like Aki-munchy” is CRAZY
-Akamaru is so CUTEEEEEE
-anyways Naruto is such a fucking hater to all the other rookies
-I can’t get over Kiba casually walking around with a puppy on his head
-Shino is so drippy. Also his voice wasn’t what I expected
-unrelated to anything in the episode but the sand siblings have such cool designs
Ep 24:
-“I don’t know where the others are sitting!” Naruto says, sitting two rows ahead of Sakura
-shoutout to Sakura for being the only one actually smart enough to take the test without cheating
-respectfully how the FUCK did Tenten not get caught cheating. I can get past Ino and Neji not getting caught (since even though their powers are pretty obvious, they only have to cheat once or twice to get the info they need)- but fucking TENTEN????
-Kiba’s cheating method is potentially okay-ish, since only he seems to be able to understand Akamaru so it may just seem like the dog making little noises instead of passing him answers, but he really shouldn’t have even been allowed to have Akamaru with him in the first place
-also Shino had the best cheating method out of the Konoha kids hands down
Ep 25:
-Kurenai is so pretty and also I like her voice
-I like that Sakura was going to quit the test in order to force Naruto to fail with her and thus prevent him from potentially losing his chance at his dream, you could really tell she does care about him deep down
-aw Ibiki is actually kinda chill, I like him
-I also already like Anko, she has unhinged energy
Ep 27:
-Naruto continues to be a gremlin
-“Survival. What a drag.” So real Shikamaru
-I’m torn between being annoyed that Ino and Sakura are fighting over a boy and being highly entertained by their pettiness
-Hinata sweetie Naruto does NOT give a shit about you right now
-Team 10’s dynamic is really just Ino wrangling Shikamaru and Choji
-Shikamaru is so scrawny-looking lmao
-Akamaru looks so holdable<3
-so like Kiba, Shino, and Hinata totally killed those guys right??? Congrats to them for being the first rookies to kill someone lol
Ep 28:
-okay Sasuke kick-launching a kunai was badass
-I could do without all the tongue shit thank you very much
-I’m glad that even though Sasuke is the cool rival character he’s still allowed to feel fear and desperation, it’s humanizing and reminds you that he’s still a kid (a kid that also happens to have God eyes and shoots fire but yknow a kid nonetheless)
-Naruto getting digested by a snake was not on my bingo card of things that would happen in this arc
-Sasuke stabbing himself was metal as hell
-Jesus fucking Christ snake lady (who I’m assuming is Orochimaru based on what I know about him) is terrifying
Ep 29:
-Naruto really has no sense of self-preservation
-seeing Sasuke so shaken-up is very off-putting but also makes Orochimaru feel like a properly intense threat
-oh so Sasuke is like legit traumatized
-also Sakura was yelling at Sasuke to fight, but she also wasn’t fighting so that was pretty hypocritical lmao
Ep 30:
-I like that Sasuke says the episode title instead of Naruto for this episode
-the animation is popping OFF
-Sasuke continues to be badass and also completely willing to roast someone alive
-EW OROCHIMARU FUCKING BIT SASUKE WTF
-yeah I need Orochimaru gone ASAP
-I noticed that the symbol on Orochimaru’s headband changed to the Sound symbol, which was a cool detail
-respectfully I’m gonna need Sakura to start being more useful to the team. Can this pleeeease be her chance to step up
-I wonder if Anko’s snake shit and Orochimaru’s snake shit are related, since he was apparently her sensei
-Sasuke really cannot catch a fuckin break in this show

BORUTO-VERSE RE-IMAGINING
Fourth War Casualties
Tumblr media
New Konoha
Tumblr media
Hello Boruto fandom, Never once watched Boruto, never even got past the Kazekage Rescue Arc, personally I think Ikemoto is a bit off his rocker because- how in the world did you manage to make this world even MORE sexist but y'know
so I'm having fun with what i would have liked to see in the next gen, as an original fan, and I am desperately trying to get rid of the ninja brainworms that have gripped me before workflow picks back up. (I'm actually going crazy on Milanotes)
I did some other rough brainstorming in the past and this is kinda building off that: Boruto Hinata
Thoughts:
It strikes me as really odd, for how catastrophic and world-ending the fourth war was, that there were seemingly no major repercussions or casualties. That's just not realistic to me. More than one main character should've died. It gives more emotional weight to someone like Kiba, who doesn't have any big role beyond the War, and thus gives his character a purpose that isn't just "Im gonna be Hokage #57"
The front lines weren't the only places being targeted, villages and safe houses were under siege, resulting in countless civilian, genin, and chunin deaths.
Mei stays Mizukage instead of that spineless, random guy.
I have some ideas for the injuries that the "crippling wounds" category sustains, but it's important to mention that "crippling" only means "not fit for active shinobi duty" since that's the bread and butter job of ninja society, so the severity of the injuries varies greatly.
I'm also aware that medical ninjutsu is like a magic eraser when it comes to stuff like that, but I rationalize that medics were more concerned about helping their patients survive rather than making sure their patients will be able to fully recover. Everyone in the injured category went too long without the proper surgery because they wanted civilians and lower ranks to have access first. Even then, the medical team was stretched extremely thin, so- consequences.
Retired: again, in context of "retired from shinobi duty". Majority still have active jobs. Alongside T&I, Ino still runs her flower shop; Tenten sets up a weapons shop right next to it; Shizune is the volunteer hospital head, meaning she doesn't get paid much, and tutors/helps/does paperwork (Sakura is a top medic who occasionally visits for emergencies- she's mostly busy with medical-related missions); Kurenai and The Boys™ teach at the academy; Karui's teammate, Omoi, moved with her to Konoha and he is now the best babysitter in town- though really he mostly looks after Chōchō and Shikadai when their parents are busy. He lives with Karui and her family, they're like siblings.
Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon were all trained under Naruto during the blank period. However, Moegi was the only one able to reach her full potential because she managed to escape the War with no major wounds. She is now currently stronger than Canon Konohamaru Sensei was.
Marriages:
Nara Shikamaru & Nara Temari
Akimichi Choji & Akimichi Karui
Yamanaka Ino & Yamanaka Sai
Uchiha Sasuke & Haruno Sakura
Shinki, Mitsuki, and Kagura were all part of a Transfer Student Project. All willingly went, All are now full citizens.
I really didn't see Metal or any of the other evicted teammates serving a purpose to the Narrative.. Maybe Metal still exists in the future, the others I do not care about I'm sorry.
I just fucking hate Inojin
Kawaki was adopted when Boruto was around one (1) and a half. Himawari wasn't conceived yet.
Jonin Sensei and Teams:
Team Four (4): Shino, Sarada, Kawaki, Boruto
Team Eight (8): Karui, Iwabe, Kagura, Shikadai
Team Seven (7): Anko, Sai, Shinki, Sumire, Chōchō, Mitsuki
