We doing headcanons again cause I am procrastinating writing the next chapter for my fic so hhhhh i’m also tired so if there’s any mistakes woops:

- The piano that is heard in the Patch Castle theme is played by Prince Fluff, or, at least he can play that song. Same thing with Kirby’s Pad, I believe it is a kalimba, which is something Fluff can also play and taught Kirby how to

- Kirby loves to draw, and has since improved from their blobs of color. Everyone is very proud

- Sailor Waddle Dee and Bandana Waddle Dee have the strongest sibling rivalry, while Parasol is too tired to deal with them

- To summarize Sailor, she is all talk, all bark and no bite. She can def blackmail, but once Meta and/or Dedede are involved, she will turn a 180 and get all nervous. Meta for obvious reasons, but Dedede because she used to work for him alongside Parasol and Bandana, so she still highly respects him, even if she helped try to take him down and make Meta the new ruler

- All of DDD’s Dees that are a part of his “army” all start out with a parasol as their weapon and move up to something else, most commonly spears and swords, as well as the occasional bow.

- Bandana is basically DDDs child so he falls under this, as well as technically Parasol who was dragged into signing up, they are very lazy and just wanna nap so they’ve never gone past a parasol, but don’t underestimate them! Sailor also once had a parasol, but since joining the Meta-Knights, now has a wider array of weapons including but not limited to: spears, swords, harpoons and harpoon guns, lasers, canons, and more.

- Sailor also does most of the more mundane tasks around the Halberd, which is something she is not opposed to at all, mostly because the rest of the crew offer to help anyways so she rarely has to do much heavy lifting. They all like to go on 3 am grocery runs.

- Javelin Knight likes buying candles, it will sit in the candle isle and smell candles until one of the other Meta-Knight come and say that they’re leaving. They really likes strong pineapple smells, like, pina colada candles are S tier to them

- Daroach likes messing with Dark Meta by throwing random stuff through the Dimensional Mirror and pretending it wasn’t him. This worked flawlessly until one of the Squeakers went through and got caught

- Francisca and Flamberge are biological sisters while Zan is not related to them at all. They still are very close anyways

------- I was in a Gartic Phone game a while ago and they brought up the idea of what the Dream Friends would post on YouTube, I feel like I’ve seen this on tumblr before so apologies if it feels like I’m copying:

- Morpho explains differences in flowers as well as what they mean, explaining flower language in general, but always ends the video with how they taste cause butterfly

- Dark Meta does asmr, but the type where it started off as a joke but now he takes requests for what to say and is strangely popular

- Fluff does knitting tutorials, both in and out of Patch Land so he has a normal series and a “how to make a living person” series

- Galacta is the lo-fi girl of Kirby, they have a livestream that is just footage of them in their crystal with lo-fi music over it. No one knows who actually manages the account it’s just there

- Sailor and Bandana do pranking videos on each other that has progressively gotten more and more intense to the point where it’s now very dangerous, but seeing as they’ve helped stop the end of time and space, it’s nothing more than a prank

- Of course, Dedede does mukbangs, expect he stands out by making it kinda a podcast too? He’ll invite a different person each episode and talk, again, strangely popular

- The rest of the 4 Meta-Knights all share a channel, all posting their own stuff, it’s very confusing

- Meta almost did asmr too, but he switched to sword fighting tutorials that turned into tips and tricks to use in battle and 360 poses with weapons for artist. Yes he has one of those spinning plate things to stand on so he can just hold the pose and get all the angles

- Shadow Kirby does late night variety streams, he’s very well known in the mirror dimension

- Elfilin does those videos that are like, kids roleplaying with LPS or stuffed animals

- Marx also does asmr but joke asmr where it’s a crappy mic and loud noises, as well as low quality gameplay with the same crappy mic with him being very toxic

- Magalor is a nerd so I feel like he plays obscure games and table top stuff, or at least videos explaining how to play, with guest helper Marx explaining how to be toxic in whatever the topic is

Probably an odd question, but what do you think the speech patterns of all the characters are? Just the way each one talks and all that

I can’t promise I’ll do all of them or that they’ll all be good (mainly because talking about anything involving analysis of auditory speech isn’t my strong suit) but I’ll try to do a few of them.

Also my sibling @theirkenshavethetardis (who has said themself that they don’t really know a lot about video games) added some of their own headcanons, which I’ll post in the keep reading link below.

(BotW) Link: He doesn’t speak, he mostly gestures and whatnot.

Samus: Pretty blunt and straightforward but not rude, will crack a sarcastic joke with a straight face.

Fox: Straightforward and focused, speaks more analytically than someone like Samus or Falco, and he tends to be more polite (especially towards authority figures).

Bowser: A bit more rude and snappy (as one would expect), he tends to talk big and exaggeratedly, and while he does use insults he doesn’t use them as often as others expect from him.

Ice Climbers: They tend to speak more politely and positively, and they often speak in unison.

Marth: Also polite, but in a more apologetic way; he tends to speak more negatively (but not in a “you must be fun at parties” kind of way).

Meta Knight: He tends to speak very formally, to the point where it takes someone a second to process the fact that he essentially said “I’m off to stab God” with different words.

R.O.B. (not legible by most people): Speaks literally and somewhat formally usually, but has wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much sass to be considered “formal”.

Lucas: Casual, he tends to speak a bit quietly, but he references memes more frequently than most others in Smash.

Wii Fit Trainers: They’re pretty polite, although a bit more serious usually–they’re not very formal, but you wouldn’t call them casual either.

Palutena: Somehow both the extreme ends of casual and formal, and serious and jokey. Graceful and divine if you’re not well acquainted with her, but the embodiment of chaos to those who know her well.

Shulk: Speaks scientifically because he is a scientist but also pronounces “sauce” to rhyme with “horse” like a wrong person would do.

Inklings: Use a lot of slang and tend to speak casually; they all also reference memes a lot.

Ridley: Manages to combine screeching with the speech patterns of the worst person you’ve ever met but like, somehow with everyone at the same time constantly.

Simon: Formal and serious and tone, and speaks with a mid-to-late 1600s dialect.

Sibling’s additions:

Mario: Talks quickly and gestures a lot. Gets loud without meaning to when he’s excited.

Dr. Mario: isn’t this just mario wtf

Donkey Kong: He Monkiy

Yoshi: Yoshi noises.

Kirby: Mostly makes baby noises. Occasionally references a meme. Once Sans got him to recite the entirety of Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up.

Pikachu: Mostly Pikachu noises. Uses emphatic gestures to get its point across.

Pikachu Libre: Pikachu but in Spanish

Luigi: I like to imagine him having a bit of a stutter, and that it gets worse when he’s nervous.

Jigglypuff: Jigglypuff

Peach: Her voice is almost musical. She could run an ASMR youtube channel in her free time if she wanted, and no one can prove that she DOESN’T.

Daisy: Swears like a sailor, which shocks a lot of people at first. She’s very loud and brash and brings life to any conversation.

Bowser: Yells most of the time without meaning to, but if he’s upset he gets very whiny and grumbly like a small child.

Pichu: Pichu

Spiky-eared Pichu: Pichu

Mewtwo: Mostly speaks normally, but occasionally finds an interesting word online or something and will use any excuse to repeat that interesting word because it sounds nice.

Mr. Game & Watch: Beeps a lot. The beeping intensifies with emotion.

Wario: Meme-loving fuck

Sonic: He has big ADHD brain and sometimes his thoughts are faster than his mouth, so he’ll trip over his words or say the wrong thing.

King Dedede: Occasionally he’ll forget a very common word and become frustrated, halting a sentence or conversation so he can try to find the word he was looking for. Often, he’ll remember the word hours later and shout it without context.

Lucario: Lucario (”You know Lucario can use telepathy right?” “Oh. What did I put for Lucario?” “’Lucario’” “No thoughts, head empty.”)

Charizard: Charizard

Ivysaur: Ivysaur

Squirtle: Squirtle

Diddy Kong: Is monkee

R.O.B.: He sure does beep a lot

Villager(s): When no one else is around, they revert to their true language: Minecraft villager noises

Wii Fit Trainers: Both have a hard time turning off their “professional” voice, and will sometimes say things like “Great job!” or “Remember to control your breathing” in contexts outside of fitness training.

Rosalina: She whispers her thoughts to her lumas, even when they aren’t thoughts she means for others to hear. This makes it easy to know pretty much everything about her.

Greninja: Greninja.

Duck Hunt Duck: Quack

Duck Hunt Dog: Boof

Shulk: Is really feeling it (They asked if Cloud was “the guy who’s really feeling it” and now insists that Shulk is just Cloud but younger)

Isabelle: Sounds like she’s in customer service, complete with “how can I help you today?” and “sorry for the inconvenience”, but that’s actually just how she talks

Incineroar: Incineroar

Piranha Plant: Mostly plant noises

Joker: Makes batman references because if he doesn’t, his name is a waste. No I don’t understand who or what this character actually is. Fight me.

Sans: Always sounds dead tired, even though he sleeps half the time. His puns are legendary.

Takes magic lessons from Wiz( that magician guy that no one seems to remember/care about?). As it turns out, their brand of magic is not anything she can pull off.

Works as their assistant sometimes... Even if it can be slightly terrifying because of their methods (their magic lets them make the tricks a bit more than just illusions). Shaddy has gotten cut in half (or more parts) more times than she cares to count.

LMAO I ACTUALLY HAVE THIS CALCULATED PER HOUR just bc that’s how long my train ride is. So I can do about 400-500 words in 50~ minutes.anyway tbh, I write almost never, but when I do, I try to get around 1000 words done??? that’s usually when i lose steam too. (though i guess if i did 500 word spurts instead throughout the day, i’d get more done) (TO CLARIFY, the only reason it’s so much is bc i only write when I know /exactly/ what the scene is gonna be and im motivated. if u sat my ass down in front of a computer each day and told me to write, I’d probably only get 100 in two hours, less even.)

I’m a multiple pov hoe. I’ve thought before of writing something in entirely one pov, but tbh i dont think i could do it if the thing is longer that a 2000 word one shot.

Okay so, my oldest wip ever, is an original story I started in, I think, 2011 and wrote throughout the year. It’s got about 22k words down, but tbh i dont think im ever gonna touch it again.fanfic-wise, my oldest wip is a harvest moon fanfic, that’s around 6k words i think? and i was planning on re-writing it bc i didnt like the characterization of one of the characters and i wanted to fix that, but it’s been like five years now, i dont think it’s ever gonna be done. My guy, i’ve never set a deadline for myself in my entire life. I think I tried to do it once, and i completely let it pass by. (Though the fanfic i mentioned previously, im pretty sure i updated once a week before i fucked up)

I either set it aside (and never pick it up again lmao) and let it stew in the back of my mind until I get something else, oR I POWER THROUGH THIS MOTHERFUCKER, and I’ll probably only write 50 words and hate every single last one of them, but I got it done and it’s better than nothing and hopefully tomorrow i’ll actually have something. (also, sometimes when powering through, what i write ends up inspiring me and im like “oh of course!” and i blaze through it)

21.  Who is/are your favourite character(s) to write?in case u havent noticed yet, about 99% of all my characters are snarky to some degree. I need a character with a wry sense of humour, and I’ll usually stay in their pov a lot. The only other character “type” I have are the sunshine pure cinnamon rolls who care and love everyone. Oh, and I guess also the ones who are pissed and bitter at the world at large. (I should.... probably... try to get out of this comfort zone...)

okay so, originally, this character was gonna be the villain alright. She was mean, cruel, snarky, cunning, and manipulative. But as time went on, and I started exploring her character, wondering why she was like this, what her goal is, and I changed and shifted the plot of the story around she... sort of... became the main character. woops.

This was just a random idea that I had and okay i know it’s dark af, but it’s honestly the weirdest one. (tbh…. im not sure i have one that could be considered weird…)
