Made some merformers designs. If you have any merformers fics, please send, I want to read them all. Here’s my headcanon in merstyle:

Mer creatures are going extinct, and thus as many as possible, are kept in special facilities. One such place is Lost light marina research center, where our friends take shelter.

Roddy- Flashy, hates you if you call him a shrimp, super fast. Gets along with everyone except Thunderclash. Roddy Is fluent speaker to both mer and humans. Plays tricks and pranks on everyone but is still trusted to some extend.

 Drift- Super quiet even while moving fast. Deadly to most other mer. Has a habit staying still for hours just meditating. Is not left alone with any mer. Is fine by himself, but his mood is better after playing with Roddy. Roddy calls it playing, but both of them are often bloody and full of bruises after a while. Speaks only in highest frequency of mer. Does not like humans, except for Wing, who is used to getting attacked by the mer.

 Ratchet- Hard to spot, camouflaged. some of the tentacles have mind of their own, and Ratty seems to be annoyed by them. Ratchet is by far the oldest mer in the facility, and has been there longer than any of the currently there working humans. Is fluent like Roddy, but does not like chatting as much. Does not like the current mer medic Pharma. Is know to sometimes escape from water. Is surprisingly strong, even on land, but usually just smacks people and other mer, without actually hurting them. Is capable of growing his tentacles back

Little thoughts I have about the events in the place;

Wing is into marital arts and even though would not stand a change, in water, the place has socializing pool, which is only 60 cm deep and there he spends time playing and weeding Drift. Drift has not been around for long, but Wing believes, that the mer will learn to behave. Others don’t have as much faith in Drift.

Ratty was once in one of the bigger pool, which was thought to be empty and accidentally Drift was left there too. Drift and Ratchet fought, and Drift got one of Ratchets tentacles, before the two were separated. Drift got to keep the tentacle, and after the incident Drift has appeared to enjoy Ratchets presence without attacking him. Some think, it’s cos Drift doesn’t think Ratchet as a threat, but really the two have found to be cuddling sometimes in the bottom of a thank.
