I'm headcannoning that 'Mechanicsburg Annual' is a local news (and research) magazine based in Mechanicsburg

I theorize that the Mechanicsburg annual used to publish layman reports of the old master's conquests and technological achievements for the past year- it's important to Show Them All when you do Science! after all

and after the boys restructured Mechanicsburg's economy, they persisted, though to keep up with greater demand generated by tourism, they started producing more editions each year and spending more time on town festivals, public works and attractions, and a greatly expanded restaurant guide.
