No Timerra sadly; I couldn’t get her design right, so maybe after I rework that in the future!

just finished the jedi survivor campaign and i am Desperate for Cal and Merrin (and bonus Kata?) anyway They are my only thoughts rn

As a portion of the final project for this class, I chose to redesign a poster for the 1973 horror classic: The Exorcist.

I have included in this post the original poster and a Japanese version I enjoyed. The traditional american release famously shows Father Merrin approaching the MacNeil household, staring up to Regan’s window, his confrontation with the satanic evil yet to come.

I re-watched the film as preparation and thought about what themes I wanted to depict in this new translation of the poster. I chose two smaller aspects of the plot, the desecration of the statue of Mary in the church and Regan’s use of the Ouija board, which supposedly is the vehicle of her possession by “Captain Howdy”. In my interpretation I am choosing to depict the statue with a “sacred heart” that consists of the Ouija planchette with the blood and stigmata hands that her desecration in the church depicts. I have chosen to leave out the torpedo/thorn like genitals that were superimposed on the statue in the movie. Above is a work in progress shot.

I chose this film because it’s one of my all-time favorites and scared me to death even as a teenager. Having been raised Catholic, it seemed like the most “plausible” horror available. I think the movie really holds up- there are some absolutely beautiful shots and the abrupt cuts never linger too long before moving on to the next unsettlingly quiet scene or the shrieking horror of Regan being tossed about.

If you could redesign Ahsoka's TL4J outfit, what would it look like?

aw thank you so much!! and ooo good question!! obviously I love Ahsoka's canon show/tl4j-era design and don't think I could match it, but here're some quick ideas! i'd definitely lean into the Daughter + Rebels finale + that one tcw vision for some inspo
