Quick thing about the ring because I saw someone talk about this earlier. I get that some people think that if it was really an engagement ring they would of already said something but I will say one of the Merrell Twins and her husband never announced it until they were already married. They posted everything all at once awhile later. So you really never know

Totally can see them going this route too imo. It's easier to just tied the knot and tell the public later to not making people microscoping their every move imo.

I reblogged this some time ago completely with the fanfiction writer mindset and I think it's so true. This is literally so amazing and thoughtful and kind and wjfjwjdjjwd JUST. THANK YOU.

But I also wanted to bring up how nice this is with YouTubers as well (specifically, smaller and less famous YouTubers).

There's this YouTuber I'm subscribed to. Andrew Burriss/Drewtube. Yes, he's the brother of Alex Wassabi and Aaron Burriss (and now brother in law of The Merrell Twins). And I absolutely love his videos. He's hilarious! And I love his energy, and personality. His videos are uniquely his even if he has a bunch of more known YouTubers overshadowing him. I even find that I sometimes prefer his videos over his brothers'. But he isn't as well known, and he's still learning and struggling and trying.

One day I decided I wanted to comment on his videos. Every single new one that came out. So I did. I ended up doing these list comments, and I did this consistently throughout Vlogmas last year, and still do it today.

And from what I've seen... it's made him so happy 🥺 more than once he's told me straight out how much he appreciates that I take the time to watch and comment on his vids, and even when he doesn't respond, it's evident. Even when he doesn't heart them, even when he doesn't SEE them, I don't ever regret taking the time to write a comment because I know it encourages him. And if I can spread happiness and love and encouragement just from a few words?? Then I will. Even if I've never met these people before. And I intend to keep doing this for fanfic writers and YouTubers alike for as long as possible.

I'm not joking when I encourage you to comment. PLEASE DO IT. Especially for the people who will actually see it. Even if it's a small, simple comment. Maybe nothing more than a keyboard smash. Just. comment. It'll make someone's day better, I guarantee it (unless ur evil and waste ur time sending hate comments obviously).

Genuinely. I've done it enough that I've seen the joy it gives people firsthand. I've received enough that I can tell you from experience that it's extremely true.

COMMENT. YOUR WORDS, LETTERS, KEYBOARD SMASHES AND MEANINGFUL GIFS, RESPONSES, AND REBLOGS, MATTER. NEVER DOUBT IT.

i know a lot of people think the ring can't be an engagement ring as that's a big deal and court would supposedly want to share that info, and i can partially agree, but one of the ways i could see them going about it if it IS an engagement ring is like how veronica merrell and aaron burriss did. people shipped them for a LONG time but they released that youtube video explaining they'd been together for years which broke the internet, then another subsequent one saying they were engaged, then another saying they're already married. they could also easily just announce everything at the same time after marriage in this situation too. not saying they would, or that they even are engaged and would go about it the same way, but considering they are also friends with the merrell twins you'd assume court knew at least the way they'd gone about it, and would maybe think it was a good idea since it worked out well for them. just a thought!

That's a good theory! It's a really good idea as well and I can see them doing it. Like one day will just BAM we're married!
