This sign is a great representation of what Memphis signage is all about. Interiors by Samuels sign framed in a double stack of black frames. The sign has irregular sides that needed an extra wide lip for the frame, so an added liner is used to create that extra hiding space. 2016 Jazz Fest poster with natural wood beveled liner used as a fillet inside the opening of a bone white mat. The mat is set back 1/8” to reveal the back edge and to show more of the natural wood. A four inch mat gives the piece plenty of white space and the natural wood outer cap frame repeats the coloring of the liner. A simple concept meets great design work.
