Detective Orpheus Cameo:

So I didn't know that this was going to be LG's first birthday celebration in game, I thought she existed a bit longer than Alice. But no, and this is the first piece of birthday lore about her and it's from the perspective of Detective Orpheus himself.

He can't seem to remember the real Alice; the Journalist we know and love from Da Capo and who the Little Girl grew up into. He just sees Memory, who Alice used to be.

The way he describes the "Mother" is that she may be reckless. She seems much more unreal to him than Memory despite the fact that it's the other way around. Memory is merely an illusion while the "Mother" was real.

Does he want to remember Alice herself?

Or did what happen during Da Capo cause him to want to forget about who LG grew up, whether he's aware of it or not.

If anything, this really just highlights the root of his turmoil and that is being so trapped in the past he can't look to the present or future.
