MASTERLIST

Jughead had been scoping out a lead he got about the murder of Jason Blossom. So far, nothing was adding up and he was getting impatient. He had done so much research and this lead was supposed to get him three steps closer to figuring out who Jason’s killer was. 

Giving up, Jughead began to head towards Pop’s to write more, and get a cheeseburger. He was usually so cautious, but this time he didn’t look when he crossed the street. A horn blared capturing his attention. The last thing Jughead saw was the headlights of the car that tried its best to stop before it crashed into him. 

...

Four days later, Archie was curled up on the mini couch in Jughead’s hospital room. 

Jughead stirred awake, attempting to sit up, but crashed back into the bed due to the pain. He looked over and saw Archie curled up on the couch, “Archie.”

Archie stretched and walked over to the chair next to Jug’s bed, “Hey buddy. How are you feeling?” 

Jughead laughed, “Like I just got hit by a car.”

“Not funny.” Archie scolded, “I thought you died, dude. When I got the call that you had been hit, I thought my best friend was dead.” 

“Don’t worry, I can’t die until I finish my novel. Now, if you would be so kind as to get me a burger and a milkshake from Pop’s, that would be great.”

Archie and Jughead laughed as the mood lightened and all of their rough times disappeared. The boys were just happy to be getting along again.
