They all do actively seek out sources of self-education.

Meihui in order to best learn about ways to better her kingdom once she takes the throne.

Chapter 4, all your kids

Ahh, Chapter Four, “The Schemer/Tactician of the Scalding Sands”, the Scarabia chapter, the saddest chapter of them all—till ch6 and 7 rivaled that title—the chapter that NONE of my characters are involved with at all…unless in a certain au but we don’t talk about that.

Every single one of my ocs went on Winter Break. Missy back to Harveston, Bouquette back to the Queendom of Roses, the kitty cat twins to Paithoon, Tama to Nuti Tâvani.

Missy and Epel are chilling and sledding around the mountain gotta prepare for Kelkkarotu if it ever comes to EN sob.

Bouquette is hanging out with Riddle—sneaking him out—Trey, and Chenya.

Meihui and Sumana are doing princess things.

And Tama is chilling with his little sister.

4. Race and Ethnicity

I guess the twins take the focus for this ask!!!

The twins--Meihui and Sumama--are the princesses of their kingdom: Paithoon. Paithoon is home to many feline beastfolk.

Paithoon is based on China and Thailand, so I guess they would be Chinese/Thai.

The Maeosarais are Paithoonese, or Paithoonian, or Paithooni, or the kingdom decided to pull a Netherlands and go with a completely different word...I posed this question to myself back in October, and I still haven't decided.

I will eventually get around to writing up a full description of Paithoon.

So, Meihui as a partner is pure devotion, but she will not hesitate to call out her significant other’s bullshit. Once she chooses a partner, she intends to marry them. She doesn’t date just to date.

Appearance:

Meihui has dark brown, long hair plaited into a simple three-stranded braid, peeking out the top of her head is a pair of cat ears. Her bangs are swept to the left (her right) with loose strands framing her face. She has sky blue eyes with slitted pupils reminiscent of a feline.

Meihui wears the standard Night Raven Academy female uniform for Pomefiore students consisting of the black blazer over her purple vest lined with gold-colored trim, a short skirt with white thigh high socks, with a black and white striped bowtie. Peeking out of the pocket of her blazer is the Pomefiore emblem. Her Pomefiore dormitory uniform includes the standard knee-length violet robe, black button-up shirt, black leggings, and black and gold heeled boots. The long sleeves of her robes do not have the shoulder slit, staying as one piece. Wrapped around her waist, Meihui has a black belt tied with another strip of red fabric in the middle.

Personality:

Meticulous and calculating, as the future queen of her kingdom, Meihui was instilled with these qualities from a young age. A sense of justice and righteousness borne into her due to her desire to be a great queen for her people. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty when faced with wrongdoing. At times, Meihui can be snarky and critical. Because of her royal upbringing, she can be standoffish and demanding. Rarely, she shows a soft side of herself to those she is close with, willing to protect those she really cares about.

Background: 

Meihui and her twin sister, Sumana, were born to the king and queen of Paithoon, a kingdom of feline beastfolk in the East. As the first born daughter, Meihui was named the heiress to the throne, successor to King Bhumibol. Together, the twins grew up in the inner court, spoiled and pampered. At the age of fifteen–a year before they would attend Night Raven College, Queen Xiulan gave birth to their younger sister, Xiaoting.

Upon enrolling into Night Raven College, both of the twins were placed into Pomefiore. During their first year at the school, Meihui and Sumana were involved in a fight with another student from Pomefiore which resulted in that student getting expelled from the school and ending up in Royal Sword Academy.

Abilities and Unique Magic:

Because of her feline heritage, Meihui is naturally very flexible and quick on her feet.

Meihui’s Unique Magic is called “If You Don’t Please”. Her signature spell grants her the ability to induce physical pain towards the person she targeted. The pain output is directly related to her mental and emotional states. Because of how powerful her magic is, she seldom uses it. When using her unique magic, she telegraphs her spell by squeezing her fist tightly. Loosening her fist will lessen the pain, opening her hand completely will deactivate the spell.

Incantation: "'No' you dare to say. I will have my way. If You Don't Please."

She is twisted from Si and Am from Disney’s Lady and the Tramp 

and Princess Mei from Disney’s Mulan II.

Daisy - What inspired you to create your OC?

I'll answer this for all of my currently posted OCs.

In order of when I made them:

Bouquette - Me getting into Twst coincided with my really big Alice in Wonderland obsession, and I could argue that any character in the animated movie is antagonistic towards Alice aka Chenya should've been in NRC too.

Meihui and Sumana - Mulan 2 is my comfort movie, and I just wanted to make royals.

Missy - I wanted to make a background character that would be a major prankster.

Tamannuk - My third attempt and first success at making an indiginous OC, because I myself am part indiginous--not Inuit--and I needed a male OC in my roster lmaoooo.

What’s the lie your character says most often?

Aaaaaaand the d8 chose Meihui to be the focus of this ask~

The type of lie that Meihui would say most often is anything along the lines of "I am fine," "I can handle this myself," and "I don't need your help."

It is less that she is not able to handle things on her own and more she is just too prideful to admit that she needs help from time to time.

Being fired by a good boss

For Meihui

Gonna be honest, this took me a good few minutes for my pea-sized brain to understand.

Meihui--being trained in the art of professionalism and composure--would visually not let the whole "being fired" thing bother her, but on the inside, she is cursing that person out.

...now the question is what was she doing--or not doing--to get fired? Hmmmm...

No, Bouquette does not have allergies, but she does have dermatographia which looks like an allergic reaction sometimes.

18. What was their worst injury?

Mmmmm, physical or emotional~? Sorry to all my angst-loving peeps, but Missy's worst physical injury was breaking her arm during a Magift/Spelldrive practice.

19. What movie is most likely to make them cry?

Sumana will honestly cry to anything remotely sad or sappy. A cute movie about a grieving mother caring for an orphan boy as if he were her own? Tears will be shed.

20. What movie or book could they watch/read a hundred times and never get tired of?

A movie that would Kore would never get tired of is anything Studio Ghibli or whatever the twst equivalent would be. Not a specific book but a genre: choose your own adventures.

21. Can they dance? Do they like to?

Meihui can dance, ranging from traditional styles to modern styles. Additionally, she is on the Night Raven College cheerleading team that I headcanon exists. She does enjoy dancing, both performance-wise and for fun.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii, Gwyyyyyyyyyyyn!!!

I’mma answer for all of my OCs!!!

Bouquette’s worst class is Animal Linguistics.

Meihui’s is Potion, ironic for a student of Pomefiore.

Sumana’s is Ancient Curses.

Missy’s is honestly anything not involving being active or using magic, but mainly History of Magic.

Kore’s is, again ironic for a member of Ignihyde, anything related to STEM. She’s not bad at it, it just isn’t her thing, more of a liberal arts girl.

Nadiyya’s is Defensive Magic.

Lastly, Tamannuk’s worst class is Magic Analysis.
