I can't say I don't just accept when things happen nowadays.

It seems Digimon are growing far more curious in our world as our own digital endeavors progress.

And while that's fascinating and all, it is a little worrisome.

But this means, theoretically, I should now have quite been Entirely surprised when one of the creatures SMACKS me in the face as I sat to do some work as usual.

This headache is gonna last a while.

Shit.

Upon regaining some semblance of balance, I found myself face to face with a trembling-

Well, the Digimon LOOKS like Plotmon, you know, but it's not. I don't think it ever had a name. Which is strange, for what line I know it's usually important to.

Questionable searching of the data logs aside,

Meicoomon's child form must have been fleeing from something and ended up in an unfamiliar place.

It's not exactly specific, I know. But it's not exactly uncommon for smaller Digimon. And I wasn't about to send it BACK in there.

Nyaromon didn't seem to mind its presence anyway. That was the important part. Nyaromon would be very reactive if they thought something was dangerous.

And if I had to deal with three Virus digimon in a week, I would be losing. My. Shit.

Meicoomon's child form- fuck it, if the databases won't name it, I will.

That's way too long and I am way too tired to continue that.

Motmon... Mlotmon... Nyaromon looked Very disappointed in my naming abilities as I tried to discuss possibilities with them. They're right, but also shut up.

After a bit of bickering, while the shivering child form had passed out, mind you, we settled with Meiromon.

I wanted to inspect it, but... I don't know what it was runnin from in there. I didn't particularly want to find out either. So I let it sleep off the distress till morning.

And when morning came, it was very clingy.

I don't think I'll be able to send it back anytime soon.

Whatever, Nyaromon is just gonna have to share then. Tough.

Gives me more time to research it directly.

I'm no digital expert... far from it actually. I'm doing my best to learn but I really, really should know more.

But there's something off about it. Nyaromon thinks so too.

Usually that would be concerning. I don't think it's that bad. Nyaromon would know.

I just watched The Beginning, and I needed to draw one of my children! As for the movie,,, well… it was okay. Not sure how I felt about that sudden lore dump about Ukkomon being responsible for Digimon and humans becoming partners. It felt really wrong somehow… I adored seeing the remade evolution scenes and hearing Target again! I just really wish the movie about the kids I watched growing up was more focused on the kids I watched growing up, yknow? In the end, I didn’t find myself caring about Rui or his partner at all like I did Wallace and Terriermon or even Meiko and Meicoomon. Still a gorgeous movie though!
