"Anything I want?" There's an air of hope in your voice that makes Sirius's smile deepen as he nods.

"Anything y'want, baby. Go on, look around, show me what'cha like." He gestures around the boutique, silently hoping that you'd head over to the lingerie section rather than the rack of gaudy hats that hung on the wall.

You begin by looking at plush sweaters, and point at the soft yellow one, "Can I have that?"

"Of course y'can, baby, let's get one of each color. Y'can have one for every day of the week," He reaches out to yank a sweater of each color out of the neatly stacked piles, draping them over his arm as you grin widely at him.

You hit the small rack of jewelry next, pointing eagerly at a pretty silver chain with a pink, heart-shaped gemstone in the middle, "'N this?"

"'S yours." He slips it off of the rack, hooking it around your neck before you get the chance to pay for it. An employee behind the counter shoots him a warning gaze, gazing down at the necklace you wear and back up at Sirius, but the man only stares back at her, eyes daring her to challenge him.

Thankfully, you pick up on none of this, already rushing towards a white pleated skirt with your pleading gaze locked onto Sirius, "Siri, this'll go with the sweaters!"

"I think so too," He chuckles at your eagerness, "Hand it over, baby."

You sling a skirt over his arm, eyes widening slightly at the collection of lingerie you'd wandered over next to. Sirius quickly herds you towards a dressing room, setting down all of your clothes and prompting you to pluck a few pieces of lingerie off of the tables it was displayed on.

He sends the employee another intimidating stare, extra conscious of his hand on your hip, slipped slightly under your shirt as he tugs you into a dressing room. The employee only looks away in mild alarm, leaving him smirking at you from behind the closed doors of the dressing room.

"Right then, let's see how my pretty baby looks in her pretty new clothes."

Monoma will show an interest in you from the moment the two of you first meet but doesn’t show much of a romantic interest right away, even though you’ll have caught his eye from when he first sees you. He makes an effort to get to know you and spend time around you, asking you questions and showing you, a lot of attention and he remembers a lot about you in a rather short amount of time. He does immediately come across as rather over confident and quite stubborn, however he is very intelligent and observant. 

When the two of you begin dating, he is very loyal and honest with you and becomes very trusting of you pretty quickly and while he’ll want you to trust him and open up to him too, he won’t press it too much. Instead kind of just trusting that you will open up to him when you are ready, but can occasionally nudge you to open up more or encourage you to talk to him. 

Though he only really nudges you when he notices that you seem upset or down, he’ll make sure you know that he’s there for you and you can talk to him if you need to. Which he can be a very good listener when he wants to be and will offer his thoughts and advice whether you asked for it or not, but he’ll want to help you however he can and won’t want to see you feeling down any longer than needed. 

You tend to be a pretty reserved person and you don’t let people in easily but he can be patient with you, but can wonder if there’s a reason you aren’t opening up to him or fully trusting him, like maybe there’s something about him or somehow it’s his fault but won’t say anything to you about it. 

You can be dramatic at times even over some smaller things at times and rather uncomfortable with leaving your comfort zone, but he won’t mind at all and can actually be pretty understanding and comforting. He also won’t force you out of your comfort zone but does encourage you to do things you want to do in life or things you want to try, he’s more of a doer than a talker and won’t like standing around talking about doing something but never doing it. 

So, if you mention something you want to do or try or a place you want to go, he’ll make it happen, and he can plan a lot of trips and dates for the two of you. He does have a very good memory and will remember things you’ve said for date ideas or gift ideas, even if you said something a fairly long time ago. He shows a genuine interest in your artistic skills and things you are working on and will like seeing drawings, paintings and such that you have done. 

He also compliments you pretty often and will ask about your art pieces, wanting to know what one is of, what inspired it and what your favorite things are to draw or paint. Even though he may not ask for it or suggest it he will actually really appreciate any art piece you create for him, whether for an actual gift for a special occasion or just because you felt like it, whatever you create for him with be very meaningful to him. 

You have been motivated to fitness and while he does stay in relatively good shape, he can show a pretty keen disinterest in exercising especially for too long or too often, but that doesn’t mean he won’t go with you but he can lose motivation and interest in exercise pretty quickly into a work out. Won’t seem to care too much about your interest for psychology though he doesn’t mind that you are interested in it, but he won’t like feeling like you are trying to analyze him or figure him out through psychology. He’ll completely support your goal of becoming a psychiatrist but will get irritated if you try to use psychology terms or speak on him, you also dream of being a artist and though he will try not to blatantly support one dream over the other he can seem more interested in you becoming an artist. 

But whatever makes you happy he’ll support 100% and encourage you to do whatever you want to do in life, he’ll also defend your dreams and goals from anyone who would even think about criticizing them. Monoma is a few inches taller than you and finds you beautiful and while he loves you for your personality, he also finds your appearance very attractive and your accent to be cute. He does enjoy being close and affectionate with you particularly when the two of you are alone, he can lean against you, hold your hand, play with your hair or your hands and hugging and cuddling with you. 

Typically likes cuddling with you sitting between his legs with your back to his chest, he also has a habit of lying down next to you and resting his head on your lap. He usually hugs you with his arms around your waist/hips and has a tendency to kiss your hands and your forehead the most, especially when greeting you or saying good bye as well as any time he’s trying to comfort you. 

He won’t mind that you are rather touch starved and can be handsy and touchy in private because he truly enjoys the attention and affection from you. He can like silly jokes especially things that make you laugh because just seeing you laugh can make him laugh at times no matter how silly or dumb the joke was. Monoma also doesn’t need you to constantly be doing something with him and can be comfortable just being in the same room as you, however he can get a little attention starved if quite some time has gone by and the two of you haven’t done anything together or you’ve been busy or spending time with others. 

But not to the point of being possessive or clingy because he will give you space but if a few days have gone by and you really haven’t done much with him or shown him much affection or attention he can get jealous and irritable. 

He truly does care a lot about you and your well being and will do anything he can to help you and keep you happy, even though he may not always know exactly what to do but does communicate with you and will always work things out with you. He is very dedicated to you and will do whatever it takes to make the relationship work and plan a future together because he’ll want to be with you forever.

■ Can sometimes be oblivious to other people’s feelings especially when it comes to people, he doesn’t really care for which can make him insult people pretty easily, even when he’s not really trying to be rude. It’s very rare that he’ll apologize unless it’s you that is but even than unless pushed or provoked to, he’ll avoid apologizing.

■ A little too over protective of you at times but this also means he’s quick to stand up for you and defend you in a physical fight or an argument. He will not allow anyone to speak down to you or take advantage of you, though this can also make him seem like he has very high standards for your friends or family. Which in a way he does because he won’t want to see you around people who are mean to you or use you.

■ Doesn’t argue with you much and tends to lighten up if you begin to get upset or angry in a situation because he won’t want you to be seriously angry with him. Though when arguments do occur, he doesn’t stay mad for very long with you and can get over a disagreement almost as soon as the argument is over.

■ He likes nicer places when it comes to dates which means he can spoil you a bit, because he does prefer nice/expensive restaurants or cafes. That doesn’t mean he’ll refuse to go somewhere you want to go because he will take you anywhere you want but he’ll also say what he thinks if he doesn’t like a restaurant or anywhere else for that matter.

■ Doesn’t mind PDA to some extent but also doesn’t like too much and won’t want you to smother him at least not in public, he’ll be perfectly fine with holding hands or even some hugs. When the two of you are alone, he won’t mind any affection you show him especially if you instigate it and will really like the attention and affection.

■ Does get jealous pretty easily whether it’s friends, family, classmates or coworkers. Simply complimenting someone else a little too much can make him jealous because he’ll want your attention. This also applies if you spend a lot of time with someone else because he’ll want to be the one spending time with you, and he won’t like feeling ignored.

He is very energetic, determined and caring he’ll go to great lengths to keep you safe and happy; he is very loyal and positive though he can be a little dim witted at times. Though at the same time if she notices that she’s making you uncomfortable she can stop or hold herself back, but can be quite smothering and even a bit overbearing with affection when the two of you are alone. She’s confident in herself and will speak very highly of you as well even for small accomplishments or small skills or talents you have. Complimenting you often and really talking you up though she’s not intentionally trying to boost your self-esteem or anything like that, she can just get very excited and animated about things she finds cool or interesting about you.

He comes across as very argumentative, confident to an arrogant/cocky level and can be brutally honest, though he will come to show a more somewhat calmer and gentler side towards you and only you. Though he can still be quick tempered and easy to irritate which makes him very snippy but a majority of things he says shouldn’t be taken too seriously, and can show love towards you more in a tsundere kind of way. He is very opposed to PDA which is fine since you don’t care for PDA either, he can be easily angered if you try to show any kind of affection towards him in front of others physically or verbally. But that doesn’t mean he wants to keep the relationship secret because he will for sure want everyone to know that the two of you are together. Because he can be extremely over protective of you and quick to become jealous as well.

well i basically have the same goal every year which is to cover more ground, i made the mistake of making my first comic be a super long 3 part epic so it feels like it's going to take me years to make it even part way through when i try to make my chapters longer however it generally leads me to feeling burned out so i still have a way to go when it comes to finding the right length per chapter that i can put out consistently

LadyLazuli (Phantomarine)

In Phantomarine (http://www.phantomarine.com/), this year I finally reach the chapter where all my main characters meet and start interacting - it's where the story truly kicks off. I've spent almost 2 years in setup/exposition mode, and I finally get to exit it properly. I'm so. SO. Excited. And I really want to take my time and do it properly. It's about to get very fun for me, and I hope it will show in the work!

Cronaj

My goals mainly consist of reaching page 100. I'm over 1/4th of the way there, and I believe I can get there before 2021. I also want to reach the introduction of one of the main characters, but I don't think that'll happen this year. This character doesn't appear until the end of Ch. 5, which is somewhere around page 170-180. Am I waiting too long to introduce this character? Absolutely.

I guess one of my goals is to reformat chapter 1 for printing (I drew it at the wrong size), and then update chapters 1 & 2 for colors. I’d like to compile the first four chapters into a book, but I’d like all the chapters to be visually similar in color at least.

In terms of where the main story will go - Book 3 just started, and Chapter 1 should be finished mid-March. Chapter 2 will be finished early-mid July, maybe even late June? Chapter 3 will be finished sometime in September. And then it's Chapter 4... which won't be finished until like June 2021 lol. But anyway, by the end of the year we'll be introduced to all the important characters of this arc (though we won't have had much time with some of them). Including a character who's so important, I'd almost call them the deuteragonist of the entire comic if not for the fact that they're only showing up 700 pages in, lol.(edited)

Past the actual story aspects - the comic will be celebrating its fourth birthday at the end of February! And, given that the first page of the comic was started on a leap day, it's technically the first birthday the comic has actually had. The upcoming short stories for the year are some of my favorites so far, so that's exciting. I'm also interested to see how the shipping contest & fan-art contest turn out. We'll also be reaching page 750 at some point this year, which is a pretty big milestone.

I have a goal for my second comic to get it off of hiatus, and for my main one I would really like to make improvements in the areas I've received critiques! Mostly, I just want to keep making them for another year <3 I don't really have any goals other than to keep on going with it

Well, having fully reuploaded my archives, I'm letting them update gradually to hopefully attract a new audience over on comic fury. When it catches back up I intend to finish up Chapter 10, and with it book 2. Then I'll finally launch book 3, Coast to Coast, which will allow me to tell more different stories by changing locations.

Pretty much my goal is to just keep swimming. I hope to complete more chapters this year. I should be able to finish chapter one of my comic, Eryl, unless I have to take a long hiatus (which, honestly, is looking very likely). Ashes is less time intensive than Eryl and the chapters half as long (only 16 pages each; Eryl chapters are usually 30-35 pages), so I’m going to try and finish at least two, if not three chapters before 2021. But honesty, just getting what I can done and continuing to push forward is my biggest goal.

I only started My Husband is a Cultist last year in April (https://tapas.io/series/MyHusbandisaCultist) and my goal is to reach that first year anniversary and to keep the train rolling for this comic! I initially wanted to have the rest of this arc completed in 2020, but I've decided to be realistic as I will be making a grad film at the same time (yay), so I just plan to do as much as I can, and to at least have Chapter 4 completed before March, and maybe Chapter 5 after that! I have a lot of story I want to tell and it's hard to stay focussed on it, but I'm doing my best, doing a little at a time!

Phin (Heirs of the Veil)

My goals are mainly to become a little quicker and finish the second book in time for the Heirs of the Veils (http://heirsoftheveil.fervorcraft.de/) fourth anniversary next October. Story-wise we want to have all the bits and pieces in place to slowly approach the actual meaty parts of the comic and prepare well enough to finish it in the coming 3 years.

GKIDS and Fathom Events Celebrate My Neighbor Totoro's 30th Anniversary

  My Neighbor Totoro, a critically acclaimed children's fantasy film from director Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli, is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and for three days only in September and October of 2018, film distributors GKIDS and Fathom Events are bringing the beloved classic film to US theaters as part of Studio Ghibli Fest 2018.

    My Neighbor Totoro will screen in over 700 select theaters according to the following schedule:

The door to the classroom you've taken refuge in swings open before you have time to conceal your black eye, hands flying up to cover the bruise in vain. You squint at the person entering, trying to make out through your tears who it is, and your stomach drops when you recognize Sirius Black.

You are not in the mood for his bullshit today.

"Get the fuck out, Black, I don't wanna deal with this right now."

You wait for his witty retort, blood already boiling at the intrusion, but all you hear is more footsteps.

"What the fuck happened here, Y/L/N?" You feel him tug at the hand that's covering your eye and you try to bat it away, but he's already pried it away from your face and stands gaping at the bruise.

"None of your bloody business. Just leave me alone, please."

"Listen, usually I'd be more than happy to let you stew in your own hatred, but if someone did this on purpose-"

"Just go! There's nothing you can do about him, please just-"

"What?"

"Black, seriously," You choose not to dwell on the involuntary pun that you'd made and you're glad that he doesn't either, "Now is not the time. Usually I have enough patience to deal with you but I can't right now, please, just give me a break."
