*it is possible that she is Theodora Megale Komnene who becomes Despina Khatun. Theodora was daughter of emperor John IV of Trebizond and there had been a proposed marriage between his daughter and Constantine XI Palaiologos (which did not happen). In the show she has dreams of becoming a Byzantine empress.

All three of Loukas Notaras’ daughters (whose names were Anna, Theodora, and Euphrosyne) were sent away to Rome years before the conquest.
