the talk
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When Toji came home, Megumi’s protectiveness magnified tenfold.
His usual quiet demeanor gave way to something more intense, almost territorial. Without realizing it, he’d position himself between you and his father, his sharp eyes narrowing every time Toji stood too close or made an offhand remark. It was subtle at first, but it grew harder to ignore.
“Why’re you standing so close to her like that?” Megumi’s voice would cut through the air, low and firm, laced with thinly veiled disdain.
Toji, never one to miss an opportunity to provoke, smirked. “Relax, kid. She’s my wife, you know.”
That word—wife—hit Megumi like a sucker punch, sending something bitter and ugly twisting inside him. He hated it. Hated the way Toji said it with that smug tone, as if it were a brand.
Hated the way you responded so nonchalantly, as though it didn’t faze you at all. Toji calling you wife felt deliberate, like his father was staking a claim on something Megumi didn’t fully understand—but desperately wanted for himself.
It set his teeth on edge, made his chest tight with emotions he couldn’t name—most definitely couldn’t ignore. The feeling so abstract, something that had been building up in the months spent at your side. Learning everything he could about you.
“It’s not like it’s real,” Megumi snapped suddenly, his fists clenched at his sides, his voice harsher than he intended. “She’s just your arranged wife. Stop acting like it’s anything more than that. She doesn’t even want you that close in the first place. You’re making her uncomfortable.”
The room went still, a suffocating tension settling between the three of you. Even you froze, caught off guard by the venom in Megumi’s tone. Toji’s smirk faltered slightly, his sharp eyes narrowing as he studied his son.
You braced yourself, worried another fight might erupt to completely sour the evening.
But then something shifted. Toji seemed to catch onto something—something even you hadn’t fully noticed. You've caught yourself a little lovesick puppy. His laugh came low and mocking. And his signature smirk returned, sharper than before, as he leaned back against the counter, crossing his arms.
“Man, you’re so protective,” he drawled, his tone dripping with condescension, every word a deliberate jab. “You do know I’m the reason she’s here in the first place, right? Gotta admit, it’s kinda weird, though—acting all territorial over your mom.’” He practically spat the word mom—a taunt rather than anything sincere. Megumi was sure to not bring it up around him. So why the hell was he hurling it like an insult?
And yet the jab had hit Megumi harder than he expected—not because it was wrong, but because of how wrong it felt coming from Toji.
So what if he had called you “Mom”. He'd always said it quietly, in moments where it felt safe, where he knew he wouldn’t be called out for it.
So what if he liked how you smiled when you heard it, the warmth in your voice when you responded, the way your gaze lingered on him like he was the most important person in the room. In the world. It had made him feel... secure, like you wouldn’t leave him no matter what.
But hearing it from Toji’s mouth, laced with mockery, made it feel almost...invasive. Like he was twisting it into some kind of fucked up joke.
It boiled under his skin, consuming and unbearable, a flame that refused to die out. Why did it piss him off so much? Why did it matter what Toji said? And why did it feel like Toji was seeing right through him—exposing the feelings that even Megumi himself didn’t fully understand? And right in front of you—
“Shut up! She’s not my mom,” Megumi hissed back, much sharper than he intended, unable to keep the vitriol out of his tone. He didn’t even know why he felt the need to clarify, why those words spilled out like a defense.
But the moment they left his lips, guilt crashed over him like a wave. His gaze darted to you instinctively, catching the flicker of hurt in your eyes before you quickly masked it—taking a deep breath. His chest tightened painfully, shame coiling in his gut.
He hated that he’d made you feel that way, hated that he’d let Toji push him into lashing out. He wanted to say something to fix it, to reassure you, but the words stuck in his throat, refusing to come.
You sighed, stepping in before the tension could spiral further out of control. Toji’s taunt had struck a nerve in you as well. His oh-so casual reminder of your arranged marriage—of why you were here, bound by duty more than choice—felt like a veiled warning, a way to keep you grounded in your place. It stirred something uncomfortable in your chest, but you pushed it aside.
This wasn’t about you.
Right now, it was about defusing the storm brewing in the room.
“Alright, that’s enough,” you said firmly, your gaze cutting to Toji with a sharpness that immediately silenced his smirk. Surprisingly, he left little fight for when you bothered to step into their fights.
“Toji, stop teasing him.” You turned to Megumi, your expression softening, your tone gentler but no less resolute.
“And Megumi…” You paused, a voice with such warmth you reserved for him. “Toji is my husband. It’d be weirder if he avoided me. But I’m here for both of you, okay? Not just him, not just you. Both of you. We’re family. So let’s try to get along, yeah?”
Megumi didn’t respond immediately, his jaw clenching as he stared at the floor, his emotions a tangled mess he couldn’t even begin to unravel.
Family.
He despises that word, loathes the way it forced Toji into something that, in his mind, should have been just you and him.
The warmth in your voice, the way you said it with such sincerity, made his chest tighten painfully. It stirred something deeper than anger or frustration—something vulnerable and raw that he didn’t know how to name. Disgust. Jealousy. Delirium.
Before Megumi could even begin to piece together the scattered fragments cutting him mind, you gently shooed both of them out of the kitchen.
Your calm words was firm, your smile soft but unyielding as you set the boundary. Pushing him by his shoulders towards the doorway. “Go, Megumi. Relax for once, okay? I’ll call you when it’s ready.”
He wanted to argue—he always helped with dinner—but the way you smiled at him left him unable to make an excuse. He didn’t want to upset you. Didn’t want you to hate him.
Reluctantly, he left, the loss of your presence settling over him like an ache.
Toji, watching the interaction with a raised eyebrow, smirked as he pushed off the counter. “Got him trained already, huh?” he quipped, but his tone lacked its usual bite, almost as though he were trying to gauge your reaction. He had picked up on something. Something he didn’t exactly like.
You didn’t spare him a glance, your attention focused on the meal in front of you. “It’s called building trust,” you replied smoothly, your voice easygoing. But with a subtle edge. That warning telling him not to pester you.
Toji chuckled softly, a low, thoughtful sound, before turning and following Megumi out of the kitchen.
Outside the kitchen, Toji followed Megumi to the living room, leaning lazily against the wall, his smirk as irritating as ever.
It was the kind of expression that always set Megumi’s nerves on edge, a reminder of just how easily his father could get under his skin. They fought constantly these days. Even when Megumi tried to ignore him.
The silence between them stretched, heavy and loaded, before Toji finally spoke, his tone dripping with a hint of mockery.
“What’s got you so riled up lately, huh? Acting all high and mighty—like you’re the man of the house.”
Megumi stiffened, his jaw tightening as he shot his father a glare. “I’m not acting like anything,” he muttered, his voice taut. Ready for the fight. Itching to throw a punch if need be.
Toji snorted, pushing off the wall lazily, his smirk widening with amusement. Strolling closer to where Megumi sat on the couch. He always loved stirring the pot. Especially with his son.
“Sure, sure. That’s why you’re always hovering around her, huh? You like calling her ‘Mom,’ don’t you? But only when you think I’m not around to hear it, right?”
Megumi’s face burned, heat rushing to his cheeks as his entire body stiffened. “Shut up,”—a sentiment he always spat at least once when interacting with his father.
Toji’s grin only deepened, clearly feeding off his reaction. He needed to get to the bottom of this.
“What’s this, huh? Some kinda mommy fetish? You’re a weird kid, you know that? But don’t forget—she’s my wife. She needs this marriage a hell of a lot more than I do, so keep that in mind. Wouldn’t want word getting out that my boy’s been drooling all over her, yeah?”
“Shut up!” Megumi’s voice rose, striking two on the counter. He kept himself taunt, fully prepared to throw punches, no matter the outcome.
And if he’s honest—he didn’t care about the mocking tone, the smug smirk, the bait Toji was throwing.
No. All he cared about was you—the person Toji dared to talk about so casually, so possessively, like you belonged to him. Like he knew you. Like he deserved you.
Toji chuckled, shaking his head as he straightened up.
"Relax, Megs. I’m just messing with you," he said, though the sharpness in his tone made it clear there was more to it.
Then his voice dropped, the humor draining away, replaced by something colder. "But seriously, what’s with you lately?” Toji drawled, unable to keep out some amusement.
“Always stuck to her like glue, damn near biting my head off if I so much as breathe near her. What’s the deal? You think she needs you or somethin’?”
Megumi’s fists clenched at his sides, his jaw tightening as he shot his father a glare. “What’s your point?” he muttered, barely masking the frustration bubbling beneath the surface. He’d confirmed it. Megumi was an open book by this point. How you hadn’t even noticed it was astounding. Maybe too swept up in your role in their life’s. In being the perfect little housewife. But he couldn’t let this go. Not that he really cared whether Megumi liked you—no. That wasn’t the issue.
Toji watched—his sharp gaze piercing right through Megumi. “My point? You’re playing with fire, kid. You’re gettin’ too close to her, and you don’t even realize it. Her clan’s no joke—they’re a problem waiting to happen. And trust me, it won’t look good if someone thinks you’re trying to....I dunno, play house or somethin’.”
Megumi froze, his breath catching in his throat. Playing house with her? The insinuation made his stomach twist, though he wasn’t entirely sure why. “What are you talking about?” he said sharply, not able to keep his confusion from bleeding into defensiveness. “She’s my...she’s family.”
Toji raised a brow, his smirk growing more condescending. “Family, huh? Is that what you’re telling yourself? That why you’re watching me like you’re ready to throttle me every time I get close to her?” He leaned in slightly, his tone dropping to something akin to a warning. “You’re a kid. You don’t even know what you’re feeling yet, so let me make it simple. Her clan’s trouble. Big trouble. And if they catch even a whiff of you trying to get closer to her—closer than you should—they won’t just make it your problem. They’ll make it hers, too."
Megumi’s fists clenched at his sides, his glare unwavering. But he can’t deny it—Toji’s words hit like a bucket of ice water, freezing something deep inside him. His mind raced, still trying to process the implications of his words. Still reeling at the thoughts of playing house with you. Of what he was really feeling here.
Toji didn’t let up, his tone growing heavier with meaning. “You know they’ve got their eyes on you, right? Them and the Zenin clan? They’re not the kind of people you want to be messing with. You so much as breathe wrong, and they’ll have you tangled up in their bullshit before you even know what hit you.”
Her clan. His father’s clan. Megumi’s stomach twisted.
He’d known about their visits, their persistence, the weight they seemed to hold over you. But hearing Toji say it like this, with an edge of warning, unsettled him.
Were they really that dangerous? Were you in more trouble than you let on? What did they mean to you? You hadn’t ever hinted at the possibility that they could be a threat. His mind raced, questions colliding with emotions he couldn’t quite untangle. Just what was Toji implying? He felt crazy—not able to form a rationale sentiment.
His judgment clouded.
“I can handle it,” Megumi said stiffly, his voice cold, though his chest remained tight. Not fully believing his own words. “Whatever it is, I’ll take care of it.”
Toji’s smirk widened, his sharp eyes boring into Megumi like he was dissecting him, pulling apart his defenses with ease. The kid never had much experience with the clan life either way. So how else was he gonna know what they were really after? Toji may not be a great father. But he did his job well. Megumi hadn’t any clue what this could mean for him.
There was no humor in Toji’s expression, only a bitter edge that made Megumi’s skin crawl. “You don’t even know what you’re talking about, do you?” His tone almost pitying, the mockery cutting deep. “Like I said before—you’re a kid. You think you can protect her? Keep her safe from that world?” His voice dropping to a low murmur. “You can’t even tell how bad you’ve got it.”
He stayed silent, unwilling to give Toji the satisfaction of a reaction.
But Toji wasn’t finished. Wanting the warning to stick. Needing it to.
“The Zenin clan…” he drawled, his tone laced with bitterness, his gaze growing distant for a moment, as if dredging up something unpleasant.  “They’d love to get their hands on you. You’re already on their radar.”
Though his voice remained calm, the weight of his words settled heavily in the room, the faint clang of dishes sounding in the background.
A constant reminder of your presence.
“Y’know that’s why she’s here, right?” Toji stalled, looking back as if making sure you weren’t there. Nearly debating on if was worth telling him this. He didn’t like the idea of Megumi’s only decent relationship falling apart through him, but he solidified his stance knowing he didn’t like the alternative.
“Funny how they work—arranged marriages. The clan heads can decide whatever they want. They’ve got so much control, especially over people like her. Women, y’know. It’s just another move to pull you in. Sent her here to watch, to get information—on you, on me. See if you’re all talk.”
Megumi’s eyes dart to his father’s, surprise painting his features. And for all intents and purposes, Toji met his gaze—piercing and unreadable, pinning him in place. So shamelessly and casually like he was discussing the weather.
Megumi’s fists clenched at his sides. He didn’t want to believe him. Didn’t want to think you could do that to him. But worst of all—his didn’t want your care to be fake.
And if it was true—because why would Toji lie here? What would he get out of this? He didn’t want to ask the question that burned at the back of his mind—didn’t want to hear his answer—not yet. But it slammed against his thoughts like stones pelting a wall.
Why had Toji let someone like you into their lives in the first place?
“What do they want with me?” Megumi asked, avoiding the glaring question. His voice low and tense. The disbelief still strung across his face.
Toji’s smirk remained stretched across his face—humorless, a sharp edge to his words almost like it was obvious. “Your Ten Shadows Technique. That’s what they’re after. That’s the prize. They want to see if you’re worth the trouble. Investments and all that. And if you are, they’ll come for you.”
His tone was almost mocking, like he was telling a scary bedtime story about an unimaginable boogeyman lurking in the shadows, waiting to snatch him up. It was comedic in a way.
His hands clenched into fists at his sides as he processed the weight of Toji’s words.
“She hasn’t even asked about that,” he shot back, defensive, his mind racing. He couldn't stand the pounding in his ears. The possibility that you might not be the person he thought you were. That you didn't actually care about him. Was this all a performance?
“She’s not stupid,” Toji replied smoothly, his tone unnervingly calm. Feeling somewhat sympathetic for whatever the fuck you two shared.
“She’s sharper than they give her credit for, playing their game better than most of them realize. But don’t fool yourself, kid—she’s still here for a reason. She might care about you, but don’t pretend she’s not tied to a leash.”
His mind was reeling. Turning. Spinning. The idea of you being under someone else’s control, in a way you couldn’t escape, twisted something inside him. The small voice in the back of his head told him there was a good chance you weren't faking it. His father’s voice was heavy with warning, but there was something else there, too—almost pity.
“Even she knows what’s at stake,” Toji added.
Megumi’s glare faltered, feeling drained. Confusion was a constant theses days. And it laced his tone as he pressed further, his voice dropping low so it wouldn’t carry over the sound of your soft humming from the kitchen. "If she’s not with them anymore, then why would she still be reporting to them? Why is she even talking to them at all?
Toji sighed, moving to lean back against the wall, his arms crossing over his chest. “You think it’s that simple?” he said. “Clan heads don’t just let go of what they think is theirs. You don’t just walk away clean, kid. They’ve got ways to drag her back if they want to. Dissolve the marriage, make up some bullshit reason. Hell, if it’s anything like I remember, they don’t even need a reason. They’ll just take her.”
His father continued, ignoring Megumi’s face contorting.
“You think her life before this was sunshine and rainbows?” Toji went on, his voice dropping lower, not eager for you to pick up their conversation. “If it was anything like the shit I saw growing up, they probably beat the defiance out of her a long time ago. I got out lucky, but not everyone does. You don’t survive in a clan like that by fighting back too much."
Toji reiterated—quite mercifully if he might add, "She’s not reporting because she wants to. She’s doing it because she has to.”
The silence stretched. Megumi’s mind replaying every moment he’d seen you quietly brushing off the clan’s calls, every forced smile, every dismissive excuse. His unrelenting white hot anger surfacing at the thought of you enduring that kind of life. What else did he not know? The questions, the veiled threats, your nervousness—all of it had been happening right in front of him. The disgusting thought of someone beating you into submission.
“Let me be real clear, kid—I don’t want you getting dragged into this clan bullshit. I’ve spent years keeping you out of it for a reason. I don’t like where this is headed, not one damn bit. But if you keep acting like this, keep pushing the way you are, they’re gonna notice. And when they do...”
The silence heavy and foreboding, as though Toji himself didn’t want to say it outright. But the implications were clear. What could they do? Snatch you back? Use you as leverage? Dangle you over their heads like bait in their endless games of power and control? Force Megumi into a spot he didn’t want to be in? He was still a kid after all.
Toji leaned in slightly, his voice cold and clipped. “They’ll use her. They’ll use you. And trust me, they won’t give a shit about what either of you wants. They’ll make it messy, and they won’t think twice about it. This isn’t some game you can play without consequences, Megumi.”
For once, there was no mockery in his tone, no smirk playing at his lips. He was dead serious, his warning obvious.
Consequences. What consequences would he endure for you? Megumi swallowed hard, his voice quieter now. “I can handle it.”
Toji’s gaze didn’t waver, his eyes narrowing, his presence heavy. He couldn’t change his mind, but Toji at least wanted him to know what he was signing himself up for. “You don’t have the luxury of playing the fool here, kid. If you’re serious about this—about her—then you better start thinking ahead. Because the way you are now? You’re weak. A burden at best. And weak doesn’t stand a chance against people like them.”
The words hit like a hammer, each syllable deliberate and cutting. It’s true.
“If this is the hill you wanna die on, then you better do something about it,” Toji fixed Megumi with a small glare of his own. Something Megumi surprisingly saw rarely. “You’re not gonna get anywhere sitting around, sulking like a brat. You want to step up? Fine. Do it. I don’t like it, but I’ll respect your decision. Just know what you’re getting yourself into. Do it for the right reason. And make sure you aren't dragging her behind you along the way.”
Once again bathed in silence, they stared at each other. Opposite ends of the spectrum yet so similar in so many ways.
With a shrug that seemed too casual for the tension he’d left behind, Toji retreated back to the kitchen, where your soft humming still drifting through the air. Oblivious to the fight that’d just take place. Fight? More like a warning. To Megumi, it sounded almost mocking now, a reminder of how close yet distant you were. That warmth you brought into their lives was there, just out of reach, and it only made the ache in his chest more unbearable.
Later that night, Megumi lay sprawled on his bed, his eyes fixed on the ceiling as his father’s taunting words played in his mind on an endless loop. Too weak. A burden. Danger. He grit his teeth, the weight of it settling like a stone in his chest.
Distance—that’s what he needed. He needed to put some space between you and him, for your sake.
But even as the thought crossed his mind, his chest clenched painfully. The idea of pulling away, of losing the comfort of your presence, felt like a knife twisting in his gut. He hated this feeling.
Hated how much he relied on his father for protection, how Toji’s words exposed every insecurity he fought to ignore.
What made it worse was the truth behind them. If your clan really was as dangerous as Toji claimed, if they were determined to drag you back—or worse—what could he do to stop them?
Right now, he was nothing but a danger to your safety. The way his thoughts spiraled whenever he was around you, the way his heart twisted and burned with feelings he didn’t fully understand—it made him reckless. Possessive. Clouded. He'd act on impulse, clinging to you like his life depended on it. His feelings still so jumbled, he tried to sort them out.
Why did his chest tighten every time you smiled at him?
Why did it matter so much when you called him family?
Why did he feel this gnawing need to keep you close, to make sure no one—not his father, not your clan, not anyone—could take you away?
Why were these feelings still present when he knew they weren’t dedicated to a mother?
It was raw and confusing, tangled in ways he couldn’t yet unravel.
But one thing burned through the haze of uncertainty: whatever this was, whatever you’d become to him, he couldn’t let it go.
He wouldn’t let it go.
You were the most important person in his life—that was for sure—and you were trapped in a situation he couldn’t fix. Yet.
For so long, he’d stayed on the outskirts of jujutsu society, avoiding the weighty politics of clan life despite his development of the Ten Shadows technique.
But now he had to face the question he’d been dodging:
What was he willing to do?
His jaw tightened, a spark of resolve cutting through the haze of doubt. He couldn’t let things stay like this. Couldn’t keep standing idly by while Toji spoke about you like you were just his possession—his wife. While his clan threw around your life like it meant nothing.
Megumi’s feelings for you ran deeper than even he wanted to admit.
You weren’t just his stepmother.
You weren’t just someone who cooked and cleaned and made his life softer in ways he hadn’t known he needed.
You were…something else.
Someone who mattered in a way he couldn’t put into words. Something beyond words.
And if he wanted to prove that—to protect you the way you deserved—he couldn’t afford to hesitate. He needed to change. To get stronger. To become someone capable of standing by your side, someone who could protect you without relying on his father. He needed to grow up.
And fast.

reassurance
sum: in a moment of weakness, you doubt megumi’s love for you
includes: megumi fushiguro x reader, insecurities, overthinking, angst, comfort ending, megumi loves you so much I can’t stress it enough, he’s just shy
Tumblr media
you and megumi had been together for a couple months. you were sure you loved him and he knew that. you showed him in numerous ways and never shyed away from outwardly saying it. however for him it was different. he rarely ever said it but when he did your world lit up.
you and him were the complete opposite. you were outgoing and full of energy when he was quiet and resolved.
you knew megumi’s main love language was quality time. there wasn’t a moment where he was ever away from you. and if he couldn’t physically be with you he’d be texting you. trying his best to seem interested when he knows his words can be read differently.
you weren’t having a good week and he noticed that. you weren’t lively like you were before and it worried him. he hasn’t seen you that much and that was killing him too.
you were tired. things just seemed to not be going your way and maybe it’s a little dramatic giving it’s only been a week but that week felt like a lifetime. a lifetime of constant fuck ups and unlucky events. you just wanted to be alone. when you feel like this, of course your mind does even worse. making you question every little thing. one of those being megumi’s feelings for you. you were having an internal battle, of course he loved you…right?
your thoughts are racing a mile a minute. you’re not thinking when you leave your room, rushing straight to his, your eyes littering with tears.
when your in front of his door you realize how late it is. and how awkward this might be because you hadn’t seen him the whole week. you bite your lip and knock on the door. you shift on your feet and then your hear rustling. the door swings open and it’s a very confused megumi who had just woken up.
“Y/n?” he questions, his voice groggy and deeper than usual.
the sight of you has him waking up in seconds. guilt eats at you when you stare at him, he probably had a mission in the morning and here you are disturbing his sleep just because of your overthinking.
you look unsure and he opens the door wider, letting you shuffle into his room. he rubs at his eyes as you stand in the middle of his room.
“you okay? did something happen?” he moves to stand in front of you.
“um no, sorry, I didn’t think you’d be asleep.”
he deadpans.
“y/n it’s like one in the morning.” his lips form into a thin line and you let out a small ‘oh’.
he’s fully awake now and he feels uneasy realizing that he hasn’t really talked to you other than a few texts for a week now.
“what’s wrong?” He says softly and you bite your lip.
“it’s stupid megumi.” His brows furrow.
“megumi?” He narrows his eyes at you and you look up at him.
“m-megs.” You stutter out.
he pulls you to sit on his bed, his hand caressing yours. he doesn’t understand why you’re so distant right now but it scares him. he’s missed you so much and especially you in his arms. the words are on the tip of your tongue but you can’t seem to get them out.
“how’ve you been, it’s been awhile since we’ve seen each other.” he says which sounds so weird once it leaves his mouth.
“it’s only been a week.” you say and megumi flushes, his eyes averting to the side.
“well yea but I missed you.” you glance at him and notice his ears tinted red from the lamp that casted a soft glow on his features.
which makes you feel worse about wanting to ask your question. it’s silent and megumi is still trying to figure out why things are like this.
“did you wanna—”
“do you—”
you both speak at the same time. He ushers you to speak first and you glance away.
“do you…love me?” the words leave an awful taste in your mouth and it leaves megumi stunned.
it’s silent.
his brows are furrowed and now he’s fully facing you.
“o-of course I do.”
he mentally curses himself for stammering, feeling stupid for getting nervous about something so simple. however the words resonate with him and he realizes that you may not feel his love.
megumi loves in silence. It’s quiet yet passionate. he knows every little thing about you. from knowing your coffee order to knowing your body language in any situation you’re in. he knows he doesn’t say those three words often but he likes to think that you did know by the way he held you, spoke to you and even kissed you.
“do you…not think I do?” His heart races but not in the good way.
his anxiety is skyrocketing and his hands feel clammy. your silence only makes him feel worse. he doesn’t say anything but he gets up and comes back to his bed with a box. you watch him with curiosity, his cheeks are still flushed and he wore that cute pout that would appear when you would tease him.
when he opens it, it’s filled with trinkets and pictures of you both, making your eyes soften.
“this was from our first date, when yuuji crashed it by wanting to watch his stupid earthworm movie.”
it was a ticket from that day. he takes out a keychain of two dogs that resembled his own .
“the first gift you ever gave me.” he mumbles. he takes out piles of paper.
“all of the letters.”
you smile at the kiss marks you left on them, they weren’t prominent like when you first gave them to him.
“these are my favorite.” he pulls out a stack of pictures tied together with a little rope.
they were all pictures of you and you had recognized one of them because you’ve seen it on his phone case. he lets it all rest on his bed and reaches over to grab his phone.
he gulps as he unlocks his phone, showing you his Home Screen. It was a picture of you both in a photo booth you forced him into. the last picture being him smiling down at you when you were posing cutely.
then he goes to his notes. showing you all of the important dates between you two ranging from things you liked, your orders from different places you’ve been, and even things he wanted to buy you, things you’ve mentioned way before you two started dating.
you’re silent but he doesn’t miss the way your bottom lip jitters. he quickly puts everything back in the box and scoots closer to you. he pulls you close to him, letting you cry into his shirt. he soothingly glides his hand down your hair, rubbing your back. he rests his head on top of yours, squeezing you a little tighter.
“i’m sorry, I know I don’t say it enough but I do love you and I need you to know that.” you lift your head and immediately wiped the stray tears from the apple of your cheeks.
“I love you, y/n.” you sniffle, stuffing your face into this crook of his neck.
“I’m sorry meg’s, I’m such a terrible girlfriend, I don’t know why I’d ever ask that.” you huff out.
“I’m sorry too, I’ll do better.” you shake your head.
“your enough ‘gumi. everything you do is enough. I was just overthinking and I’m stupid.” he smiles, shaking his head.
“you’re not stupid baby.” he lets out a laugh when you sniffle and say ‘but I am.’ once you’ve calmed down he pecks your head.
“are we okay?” he lets out shakily, you hum, hugging him tighter.
“wanna go to sleep?” you nod and you both slide under his covers.
he pulls you to lay on his chest. he plays with your hair, the way he knew you liked because it helped you fall asleep faster. right before your breathing evens out he speaks.
“I love you…pretty.” he whispers and you grip his shirt.
“I love you too megs.”

Tumblr media
Gojo Satoru – Dare
Tumblr media
The game of truth or dare is heating up like it always does when you and Gojo participate. The group is gathered around, your gaze flicking between the men as they take turns while Shoko takes a drag on her cigarette. The laughter is loud, the mood is light - until Gojo smirks at you after you’ve been listening to Geto talking about that strange-looking curse he encountered today.
You feel his predator eyes on you almost immediately, always sharp, always intense, filling you with a wave of unease and...excitement.
Truth is, it’s very hard not to fall for Gojo Satoru. Not when he wrapped you around his long fingers the second he said Hi, not when he never fails to flirt with you during a mission. You hate to admit it, but you’re weak – weak for the strongest jujutsu sorcerer.
"Alright," Gojo announces, tilting his head back slightly, his white hair falling in disarray.
How did you not realize the bottle landed on you? But not just by anybody, but Satoru himself?
"Truth or dare?"
You pause for a moment, your pulse picking up, unsure if you want to risk the dare, especially with Gojo's mischievous grin spreading across his face. You bite your lip, hesitating before finally saying,
"Dare."
A flicker of amusement dances across Gojo's expression.
"You sure about that?"
"Yes," you reply, more confidently than you feel.
"Alright then," Gojo stands up and paces around the group, his hands shoved deep into his pockets.
"I dare you to kiss me. Right here. Right now."
The words send a shockwave through your body. For a second, the room is silent, everyone looking between you and Gojo, their eyes wide with disbelief. He, however, is completely unfazed, his grin only widening at your reaction. His confidence is almost overwhelming, and you're starting to feel a little out of breath.
“Satoru…isn’t that a little much even for you?”
“Why? (y/n) can totally decline and live with the shame of being a loser, right?”
Your heart races as you look into his eyes, those blue irises glinting with a playful challenge. You could back out - everyone would understand. But something about Gojo's daring smirk and cheeky words is pushing you forward. Your cheeks flush as you stand up, your body almost moving of its own accord, driven by a mix of desire and curiosity.
Gojo's hands remain in his pockets as you step closer to him. The atmosphere is thick with tension. You can feel the weight of his gaze on you, like he's daring you to make the first move.
"You know," Gojo says in a low, almost teasing voice, "I won’t bite, unless you want me to."
Your breath catches at the implication. You don't know what comes over you, but you close the remaining gap between the two of you. Slowly, you tilt your head upward, lips brushing against his. His mouth is warm, but the kiss is slow, deliberate. His hand moves to the back of your neck, pulling you closer, the kiss deepening as his tongue gently teases yours.
Gojo's touch is light at first, his fingers brushing against your skin, sending waves of warmth through you. But as the kiss intensifies, his grip tightens, his body pressing against yours almost making you lose what’s left of your self-dignity. His lips move with purpose, and you find yourself melting into the kiss, his heat and presence overwhelming.
When you finally break the kiss, your chest rises and falls with the intensity of the moment, your mind simply blank. Gojo pulls away just enough to look at you, his grin now replaced with a more serious expression.
"Good girl," he whispers, his voice sending a shiver down your spine.
"That was just a taste. I might make you do more next time."
Your face burns at the words, but your lips tingle from the lingering touch of his.
“Can the two of you just…stop?”
“Yeah, get a room or something. I’ll never play truth or dare with you guys again.”
Tumblr media
Geto Suguru – Truth
Tumblr media
The game has been spiraling in unpredictable directions with Gojo teasing the hell out of none other than Nanami Kento, but it's Geto's turn now. He's been quiet so far, watching with a cool, calculating gaze, his dark hair falling messily around his face. His sharp eyes flick to yours, locking with yours in a way that feels like he’s reading your every thought.
The bottle lands on you.
"Truth or dare?" he asks, his voice smooth and confident, though there's something deeper, almost hypnotic, lingering in it.
You swallow hard. You know Geto isn’t one for games, but he has a way of turning everything into something more intense, more serious. His charm is subtle but dangerous, especially for someone who hopelessly fell in love with the black-haired boy when first meeting him. You hesitate, the thought of what dare he might come up with making your heart race. Truth might be safer, but you know Geto enjoys seeing how far he can push someone, testing their limits. But still.
You bite your lip and, with a deep breath, answer, "Truth."
Geto's smile is slow, deliberate, almost predatory, as though he’s been waiting for this. He leans back in his seat, stretching his long legs out in front of him, making sure everyone’s attention is fully on you. He studies you for a moment, considering the best way to get under your skin.
"Alright," he murmurs, his gaze never leaving yours.
"What’s the one thing you want... but you’re too afraid to ask for?"
YOU.
The question hangs in the air, weighted with layers of meaning. Oh, it’s not a secret to anyone that you fell for him hard but are too shy to admit it out loud. Does he know as well? Does he know how long your gaze is glued to his back even though he said goodbye a while ago? Does he know how often you ask for him, how deeply worried you are when he is forced to leave for a difficult mission? Does he know how many nights your mind drifts off to him, imagining things you’d never say?
You feel the heat rise in your chest, but you're not sure if it's from the question itself or the way Geto’s eyes linger on you. His question is no simple one, and it feels personal, almost invasive. You want to answer, but something about the way he's looking at you makes it harder to speak.
His expression remains unreadable as you fumble with your thoughts. It’s not like Geto to let you squirm. He doesn’t need to push. He knows you’ll eventually crack under the weight of his gaze.
"Well?" he presses, his voice quiet, but with a certain edge to it, as if he’s daring you to be honest.
You take a shaky breath, your mind racing. It’s impossible to ignore the tension between the two of you, the air crackling as you finally speak.
"I..."
You hesitate, feeling your chest tighten. "I want...A boy here at jujutsu high…But I can’t ask for that."
A hush falls over the room as your words sink in. You can feel the weight of Geto’s gaze intensifying, his lips curling into that knowing smile of his.
“Just admit that it’s Geto already, Gosh”, Shoko mumbles under her breath.
Fuck. Heat rushes up your face in an instant. He shouldn’t know that, shouldn’t be confronted by your true feelings. But somehow…Your heavy heart feels the tiniest bit lighter by now.
“I want…You”, you finally press out.
Silence settles in the room, only interrupted by Gojo’s unforgiving giggles.
“I’ve known for a while,” he finally replies, his tone low and comforting, as though he’s carefully choosing his words.
“I didn’t want to push you, but I’ve been waiting for you to be ready.”
You blink, your mind racing to catch up with his words, not even realizing Shoko punching the hell out of Gojo in order for him to keep his mouth shut. You’ve been afraid for so long to admit your feelings, thinking that perhaps he didn’t feel the same way, or that you would somehow make things awkward between the two of you.
But the truth hits you like a wave -the feeling is mutual.
Geto’s smile widens slightly, and he leans in closer, his eyes now holding a warmth that melts away the last of your doubts.
“I’m not going anywhere, (y/n). You don’t have to be afraid or hide anymore.”
It feels like the weight of the world has lifted from your shoulders, and suddenly, everything is lighter. You can’t help but smile, a soft, genuine smile that you’ve been holding back for so long. Geto…in love with you?
“I was afraid… that you wouldn’t feel the same way,” you admit, your voice barely above a whisper.
He chuckles softly, his hand reaching out to gently brush a stray lock of hair from your face.
“Don’t be,” he says softly.
“I’m right here.”
His words settle into your heart, and for the first time for way too long, you feel completely at ease. Geto doesn’t make a big show of it, doesn’t make things overly dramatic. Instead, he leans back in his chair, his eyes still fixed on you with that same gentle, understanding gaze.
"I think," he murmurs, "this is just the beginning."
You smile, feeling the warmth spread through your chest. He’s right. This - whatever this is - feels like it’s just the start of something beautiful, something you never imagined could happen.
“Wooooow, look at that!” Gojo interrups, suddenly leaning forward, his usual playful grin plastered across his face.
“Suguru, I knew you were secretly a softie. Who would’ve thought?”
You can’t help but laugh nervously at Gojo’s interruption, the tension lifting ever so slightly. Geto, for his part, just rolls his eyes at Gojo’s theatrics, though there’s a slight pink hue creeping up his neck.
“I’m not a ‘softie,’” Geto mutters, trying to maintain his usual cool composure, but it’s clear he’s embarrassed by the attention.
“Sure, sure,” Gojo teases, not letting up.
“You can pretend all you want, but the heart wants what it wants, right? And clearly, it wants (y/n).”
You feel your cheeks flush at Gojo’s teasing, but it’s not uncomfortable. In fact, his lightheartedness makes everything feel a little less serious.
Geto sighs, but you can tell he’s not bothered. He looks at you again, his expression softening as he leans closer, his voice just for you.
“Ignore him. He’s just jealous because no one’s in love with him.”
Gojo grins widely.
“Oh, we know better, Suguru. It’s hard to compete with your charm. But you’re right - he’s a lucky guy, (y/n).”
Geto smirks at that, clearly trying to hide the fact that Gojo’s teasing is making him more flustered than he’d like to admit. But his hand stays gently on yours, the connection between you both feeling real, solid, and genuine.
The rest of the group lets out a collective "aww" at the sight of the two of you except for Nanami who stares both of you up and down while rolling his eyes.
Tumblr media
Sukuna – Dare
Tumblr media
The air is thick with tension as Sukuna turn comes around. It’s a wonder he decided to join your little round of truth or dare on his own while finally being freed by this brat, but the way his gaze brushes over you each and every minute forces shivers down your spine. He watches you carefully, his eyes narrowing with amusement as he waits for your choice. The room is quiet, save for the sound of your heartbeat pounding in your ears.
You swallow, already feeling the heat of his gaze like a brand against your skin.
"Truth or dare?" he asks, his voice low and commanding, the words dripping with a certain darkness that only he can carry.
You hesitate. Sukuna is unpredictable, merciless at times. But you know that backing out would only make things worse, so you speak before your courage can fade.
"Dare."
Sukuna smiles, a wicked, almost cruel smile that makes your blood run cold.
"I dare you to sit on my lap. Right now. And don’t you dare hold back."
A sharp breath escapes your lips, the air between you suddenly feeling too thick to breathe properly. You glance around, unsure if the others are watching, but all attention is on you. His dare isn’t something lighthearted, and you know it. His presence is overwhelming, his power like a storm that’s always on the edge of breaking.
You stand slowly, walking toward him with uncertainty weighing your steps. Sukuna’s eyes follow every move, his smirk never fading as he sits back in his seat, clearly enjoying this. His hand rests on the arm of the chair, his fingers long and deliberate, tapping lightly. When you finally stand before him, you feel your body freeze under his gaze.
"Don't be shy," Sukuna drawls, his voice like silk, but there’s a cruel edge to it.
"I won’t bite… Much."
You hesitate one last time before sitting down slowly, your heart pounding as you lower yourself onto his lap. His body is solid beneath you, hard and unyielding. You try to ignore the heat pooling in your stomach, the way his presence consumes you. The moment you sit down, you feel his grip tighten around your waist, pulling you closer, making it impossible to escape.
"That’s it," Sukuna murmurs in your ear, his breath hot against your skin.
"I can feel your heartbeat. So fast. So nervous."
His voice sends shivers down your spine, his lips brushing against the side of your neck. Oh, you’d definitely hit the floor if it wasn’t for him holding you tightly.
"Are you afraid of me, little one?"
You can’t respond, can’t even think. Your body is reacting to him in ways you can't control. The tension between you is unbearable, but the way he looks at you, like he knows everything, like he owns you, makes your stomach flip with a mix of fear and something else, something dangerous.
He chuckles softly when you don’t answer, his hand moving from your waist to grip your chin, tilting your head to the side so he can study your face more closely.
"You’re trembling. Interesting. I wonder what it would take to make you beg for more."
His words are a spark that threatens to set you ablaze. His fingers trace your jawline lightly, sending waves of heat to your skin. You try to steady yourself, to focus, but Sukuna’s proximity, his touch, is doing something to you that you can’t deny.
Finally, he lets you go, a smirk curling on his lips as he watches you squirm, struggling to maintain control.
"Next time, I think I’ll make you do something more... entertaining."
You barely manage to stand, your legs unsteady as you move away from Sukuna like in trance. The game continues, but you can’t shake the lingering feeling of his touch, the weight of his gaze, and the fire that now burns within you, sparked by his unrelenting dare.
“Meet me when this is over, brat.”
Tumblr media
Megumi Fushiguro – Truth
Tumblr media
The game has shifted into something far more intense now, each turn testing boundaries in ways you hadn't expected. Those countless dirty questions from none other than Panda, Toge who’s blushing like crazy with each passing round, Yuji who fails to understand half of it.
The group’s laughter and joking fills the air, but as the bottle spins to you, you notice Megumi’s gaze subtly lingering on you. There’s something different in the way he watches you today, his usual quiet confidence replaced with a trace of something you can't quite read.
Nobara, sitting across from you, smirks and leans in, her eyes sparkling with mischief. You know she’s been planning something, and you feel a hint of dread as she leans forward, her gaze locking onto yours.
"Alright, (y/n)," Nobara announces, her voice playful but with a hint of challenge,
"I dare you to sit on Megumi’s lap."
You freeze.
What?
The room goes silent for a moment, and you feel your pulse quicken. Megumi looks up at you, his face going red as his lips part slightly in surprise. The normally stoic, composed Megumi is now visibly flustered - his cheeks stained pink, his usual calm shattered. He’s staring at you like he’s been caught in a trap.
You glance at Nobara, who’s watching you with a wicked grin, clearly enjoying the power she holds in this moment. That lousy friend of yours who knows exactly you have a secret crush on Megumi Fushiguro, who’s aware of the fact that you’d never even ask him for a hug. The others, Yuji included, are looking at you with amused expressions, clearly expecting you to either protest or comply. The entire room seems to hold its breath as you look from Megumi back to Nobara.
"Come on, don’t be shy," Nobara teases.
"It’s just a dare."
There’s no escaping this now. You know she won’t let you off easy, and the others are watching with a mix of curiosity and amusement. The tension is thick. You hesitate, trying to find some excuse to back out, but Megumi’s gaze is too intense, like he’s trying to will you to make a decision without saying a word. He’s still sitting there, looking awkward, like he’s not sure what to do with himself.
Taking a deep breath, you rise to your feet, your legs feeling unsteady as you walk toward Megumi. He doesn’t move, his eyes locked on you, watching you with a mix of embarrassment and…something else. There’s a slight tremor in his hands as you approach him and you can feel the weight of his gaze following your every movement.
When you reach him, you stop, feeling your face warm as you stand there for a moment, unsure of what to do. Are you supposed to just…sit down on him?
Megumi shifts slightly in his seat, his hands fidgeting nervously in his lap. He doesn’t look like he’s angry, more like he’s caught off guard by the sudden closeness, his usual serious expression replaced with something far more flustered.
"You don’t have to do this if you don’t want to," Megumi murmurs, his voice low and awkward, but there’s an edge to it that makes your stomach flutter.
You can tell he’s trying to be polite, to save face, but the way his eyes dart away from yours betrays him. He’s just as nervous as you are.
But the dare has been set, and you can’t back out now if you don’t want to get teased for the rest of the year.
You sit down slowly on his lap, careful not to be too abrupt, but your heart is pounding in your chest as you make contact. His body stiffens beneath you, and you feel the heat of his form through the fabric of his clothes. The moment you sit, his hands immediately rest at your waist, but it’s not a firm grip, it’s almost like he’s afraid to touch you. The awkwardness is intense and you feel strangely aware of the way Megumi’s body reacts to your presence.
You try to adjust, but it only seems to make things more awkward. His breath catches, and you can’t help but notice how tense his muscles are, like he’s holding himself back from moving at all. You avoid looking at his face, focusing instead on the others, who are watching you both with wide eyes, clearly trying to hide their smiles.
Nobara is grinning from ear to ear, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
"See? Not so bad, right?"
That miserable thing of a friend. When this is over, you’ll have a serious talk about personal boundaries with her-
Megumi shifts beneath you, his hands still at your waist, but you can tell he’s unsure what to do. The quiet intensity of his gaze on you makes your heart race and mind go blank. His lips are slightly parted as he glances at you, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Are you alright?" Megumi asks, his voice uncharacteristically soft and unsure.
His eyes dart between your face and your body, clearly embarrassed by the closeness the two of you never shared before.
You nod, trying to stay composed, but you can’t ignore the way his breath against your neck makes your heart flutter. The heat between you two is undeniable now, and the tension is thick, almost suffocating. Neither of you is saying anything, just existing in the awkwardness and…intimacy of the moment.
You can feel Megumi’s body slowly relaxing beneath you, but there’s still that silent distance between you both, the unspoken uncertainty hanging in the air. His hands shift a little, and you can feel the slight pressure of his fingers against your waist, like he’s unsure if he should move them or leave them where they are.
Finally, the silence is broken by Panda, who is clearly enjoying the moment too much. "Aww, look at out little Megumi. Getting all flustered. You know, you’re pretty cute when you’re shy, Fushiguro."
“Leave him alone, idiot”, Maki mumbles under her breath while smacking his head roughly.
Megumi's face turns even redder at Panda’s teasing, but he doesn’t say anything, his eyes locked on you as if trying to figure out what to do next.
You can see it in his face: he’s utterly embarrassed, yet there's something else in his gaze, something softer, more vulnerable.
"Let’s just get this over with," he mutters under his breath, clearly trying to keep his cool, but failing spectacularly.
You can’t help but smile at his flustered state and the ridiculousness of this moment, a small part of you reveling in how uncharacteristically nervous he is.
Nobara bursts into laughter, clearly pleased with the result of her dare.
"Okay, okay, we’ll move on," she says, but you can see her trying to suppress her laughter.
"But don’t think I won’t get you next time, Fushiguro."
As you stand up, you feel Megumi’s hands linger for just a moment longer than necessary before he pulls them away, his face still red as he avoids looking at you.
“That was…not bad”, you finally admit shyly while taking the free seat next to him.
“Not so bad? I mean, yeah…”

you want to kiss me so bad! - fushiguro megumi
Tumblr media
word count: 3k warnings: none :) summary: "ooh you just want to kiss me" "and what about it?" more info: aged up characters! everyone works as sorcerers for jujutsu tech, friends to lovers, yuji nobara and reader are besties with a gossip groupchat a/n: thank u stef for this idea, it was so much fun to write !!! (obvi i got carried away... classic me) but this one is ofc dedicated to u @delzinrowe here's the original brainrot ___
Normally, (y/n) and Megumi made a strong pair on assignments.  Having worked and trained together since high school and having known each other a bit longer than that, they shared a deep understanding on how the other fights, and normally this gave them a hefty advantage.  Having two capable sorcerers that could read each other like the backs of their hands was a threat to any curse.  Normally.
Or in other words, as long as one of them didn’t completely abandon their plan and start improvising halfway through a fight, they were the perfect pair.
If he gave her some benefit of the doubt, Megumi could admit that (y/n) disregarding her weapon and opting to use the sheer power behind her cursed technique actually meant exorcizing the curse quicker than planned.
However, now she’s staggering on her feet, her blade retrieved and dangling loosely in her weak grip as she slowly makes her way over to him, grimacing at the heap of dead curse she had to sidle past.  There’s a lazy but proud grin that takes over her features as she assesses the damage, realizing her workload for filing this one would be far less than previously expected, seeing how quickly she’d handled it.
“What the hell were you thinking?” Megumi scolds her as soon as she’s in close enough proximity to hear him.
He’s pissed.  His arms are crossed, his face is twisted into a scowl, and when he pauses after his question (y/n) thinks he might actually be looking for an answer.
“Pretty quickly, I’d say” She scoffs back at him, not taking his irritation seriously for a second.
She’d say Megumi was a friend of hers, given how long they’d known each other, but she couldn’t say he ever eased up around her.  He seemed to always be wound so tight that he didn’t even relax when they weren’t exorcizing curses.  Over time she’d grown used to his reserved demeanor, and she didn’t mind it, so long as they were still the perfect duo on assignments, she could put up with anything.
Except his attitude.  It rarely made an appearance when she was around- not nearly as much when he was paired up with Yuji- but on the off chance that Megumi got cranky, as she called it, it never rubbed her the right way, and it never went over well.
And currently, Megumi’s attitude and irritation knew no bounds.
“That was reckless and risky and you know it,” He chastised, only bristling further when (y/n) rolled her eyes back at him.  “You need to take this more seriously, you can’t just go dropping your weapon in the middle of-”
“It was fine, wasn’t it?” She huffed out, already bored of the conversation.  “It’s done, we’re not scuffed up all that bad, and honestly, you should be thanking me”
“Thanking you?” Megumi seethes the words back at her, and the way the corner of his snarl twitches does not go unnoticed by her.
“Mhm, you’re welcome,” She muses back at him, knowing that her little smirk was going to absolutely set him over the edge.  “I’ve pretty much scored us a half day-”
“You pretty much just ignored me completely and could’ve gotten us both hurt…” He trails off, his features softening from their contorted angry expression for just a moment as something else washes over him.  Something that makes his face pale and his lips curl into such a deep set frown (y/n) thinks it could form permanent wrinkles if he held it any longer.  “... or worse” He finishes, a bit quieter than before.
“But we didn’t,” (y/n) shrugs back at him, and his annoyance creeps right back into it’s home under his skin.
Why couldn’t she take anything seriously, ever?
“We’re fine, it’s done, and we’re heading home.  Why are you holding onto this?”
He gapes back at her, pausing long enough to give her a chance to take back her idiotic statement and actually take some responsibility for her actions, but she doesn’t.  All she does is look back at him with something akin to disinterest in her eyes.  It makes his nostrils flare.
“You’re ridiculous,” He huffs, eyes screwing shut with his annoyance.  “Seriously, (y/n), one day your lack of critical thinking skills is going to put me in an early grave”
“Early? But you’re such an old man already,” She teases back, knowing full well she was poking a sleeping bear.  “C’mon, I’ll treat you to lunch on the way back, better?”
“You can’t be serious for even a second can you?”
“Why would I?”
“Oh, I don’t know, self preservation?” He snaps back at her, stepping closer so she could get a proper look at the glare in his eyes.
“My job is self preservation,” (y/n) rolls her eyes again with the dismissive comment.  “Maybe if you loosened up once in a while you wouldn’t be so cranky all the time”
“So I’m cranky for wanting us to make it out of an assignment with our heads?”
“Looks to me like we still get ‘em” She shrugs.
“That’s it.  I’m not taking another assignment with you until you understand why acting on reckless abandon is stupid and going to get you killed one day,” He spits back at her, and for a second, her brows raise, and she actually looks shocked by his words.  “Does that make me the bad guy, (y/n)?” Megumi hoped he was finally getting through to her, he was so close to her now that when his eyes bore into hers she could hardly see anything but angry blue oceans crashing behind them.
With another roll of her eyes and a short giggle right in her face she scrunches up her nose and gives him the greatest, wittiest line she could come up with to diffuse the rising tension.
“Ooh, ‘gumi you just want to kiss me”
What she doesn’t expect is that with all of his anger and frustration brewing, Megumi had been pushed past a brink she’d never seen him reach before.
“And what about it?” He snaps, brows furrowed with his anger, mouth still pulled into a frown.  (y/n’s) eyes widen at the response
So in a moment of pure vexation and poor decision making skills, Megumi’s shifting gears and muttering, “Fuck it”
Next thing she knows his hands have seized her cheeks and they’re soft and warm but so firm as he yanks her forward while dipping his head to her height.  Is he going to kiss me? Is the first stupid thought that runs through her muddled mind before his lips are slamming against hers.
Her eyes are as wide as saucers before she truly registers how soft and warm and pleasant his lips feel against hers, and she finds herself giving into the whirlwind moment sooner than expected.  Her lashes flutter before falling shut, and it seems that she’s just as soon floating ten feet in the air, lifted by an invisible force.  One foot pops into the air, the other extending on to the tips of her toes to better reach him, sending her hands against his chest.
He rendered her breathless in the matter of instant, which she blamed on both the surprise and the passion behind his kiss.  She can vaguely make out the feeling of his hands moving from her jaw into her hair, but just as his fingertips graze the nape of her neck and she hums in delight.
That little noise was her downfall, because as soon as the sweet sound hits Megumi’s ears, he’s pulled out of his reverie and instantly pulls away from the kiss.
(y/n) has to gasp for air once they’re parted, but it takes her a minute to gather her senses and open her eyes.
Megumi’s frozen, his hands still cupped around the back of her head, his lips parted but no words or air was coming out.  All he can do is stare at her with the shock of what he’d done sinking in.
No words are exchanged.
She stares at him expectantly, waiting for something, anything, but it doesn’t come.  Megumi releases her before putting as large of a step of distance between.  If he won’t say anything, she knows she has to… but all she can do is gape as he takes another step away and quickly pulls out his phone to check on their ride back to Jujutsu Tech.
It stays silent as they wait for their car.
Even their exchange with their assigned manager is uncomfortable.
With Megumi still choosing the silent route, she’s left no other choice.
She pulls her phone out of her pocket and rapidly begins to type.
[y/n]: S.O.S EMERGENCY !!!!!!
[yuwuji]: OMG DID U DIE ON UR MISSION D:

[yuwuji]: was it good???
The incoming texts from her go-to groupchat for panic spamming shot up so fast she’s barely finished reading one before another appears on her screen.  At least it was serving the purpose of keeping her distracted in the tense car ride.
[y/n]: he got mad at me
[yuwuji]: aww again??? :(
[y/n]: and then i said ‘you wanna kiss me so bad’ and he was all ‘so what?’ abt it and then he just…. fuckin kissed me

[yuwuji]: … r u sure ?
[noapybara]: what do you know.
[yuwuji]: no nothing i just meant he’s shy and awkward
[y/n]: VERY AWKWARD YEAH I GOT THAT
[nocapybara]: yuji ur his best friend.  u definitely know something.  spill. does he have the hots for (y/n/n) or not
[yuwuji]: hey i don’t spill secrets!!!!
[nocapybara]: SO THERE ARE SECRETS TO SPILL THEN????
With every new message, (y/n) felt her heart pounding in her chest a little harder.  She hoped the radio was loud enough to drown out the sound of it.  They were still a couple of minutes away from Jujutsu Tech, and she needed a solution by the time they got there.  She had a feeling that if she didn’t come up with a plan and fast, then Megumi would continue to ignore her, and it would never be brought up again.
[yuwuji]: well… i guess it’s not a secret that he talks about her a lot…
It was easy to mistake Megumi’s silence for disinterest- and at first, he would say that he was ignoring the entire thing.  He didn’t have an ounce of desire to bring it up in front of present company, but after a few minutes of riding in silence, he thought maybe ignoring it forever was his best option.  It was just an accident, people caught up in the moment all the time, right? What was one little… perfect… kiss anyways?
Suddenly watching all the trees passing by the window made his stomach twist with nausea, and Megumi had to redirect his gaze to the back of the headrest in front of him.
It wasn’t right of him to kiss her, if he really thought about it.  He’d never even confessed to her- and to just kiss her like that? Megumi could barely recognize himself.  He was never so brazen, he was always the reserved, calculated one.  He was the one that thought things through before making a final decision, he was never brash, never bold, and he would never make a move on someone without telling them properly how he felt…
His stomach lurched again.  Was he getting carsick?
He’d never really considered telling (y/n) about his feelings for her before.  Sure, he’d known for a while that she wasn’t like the others, she was different, special, held in a different, more secluded place in his heart away from all the others.  If he was being honest with himself, he’d probably felt that way since high school.  The problem was Megumi was always realistic when evaluating his options, so when his feelings for her were fully realized, he’d weighed his options and decided that the potential of losing a friend and a phenomenal partner over a confession would be pathetic.
So he packed his feelings up in a box and left it in the back of his mind.  And that box would just have to stay there.
The ping of his phone drew him out of his spiraling, stomachache-inducing thoughts.
[itadori]: yo u kissed (y/n)?? hell yeah!!!
It felt like his heart imploded, and all of the air in his lungs was sucked out before he could try to gasp to preserve it.  His eyes nearly bore a hole through the screen of his phone before his head shot up, peeking at the front seat where (y/n) sat, typing away on her phone.  He couldn’t see who she was texting, but he didn’t need to, because the recipient of her texts just told on himself.
Now he was sure he was going to be sick.  He made a mental note to pack anti-nausea for the car rides after assignments.
When they finally got back to Jujutsu Tech, (y/n) was swift in her exit of the car and stride towards the building.  She not only didn’t utter a word to him, but she didn’t cast him a second glance.  Her eyes were glued to her phone and her walking pace was, well, she was nearly jogging away.
He could just let her walk away, accept that the both of them would mutually forget about the whole thing.
“(y/n)!” Megumi had to call after her as he broke into a light jog in order to catch up.  She glanced over her shoulder, and her speed walking slowed to a normal pace as he caught up to her.
She’s quick to lock her phone and tuck it back into her pocket.
Megumi lets out a sigh as he gives in to instinct.
“Look, I didn’t mean to do that, and I’m sorry, alright?”
She stops in her tracks then, effectively halting him too, but it doesn’t seem like it’s because she’s suddenly inclined to focus all of her attention on conversing with him.
“Are you trying to say you kissed me by accident?” She frowns.
“Well, I guess-”
“Because that’s not a thing,” She interrupts him.  “You kissed me, consciously, and, like, for a good minute-”
“But I didn’t mean to, you practically dared me!” Megumi argued, only making her scoff and let out a laugh, humored by his ridiculous argument.
“Who cares? You kissed me!” She reminds him with a tilt of her head.  “Are you saying if I challenged you to jump off a bridge would you do that too?”
“Well maybe the bridge isn’t that tall” Megumi refuted, before frowning and rolling his eyes at how stupid he sounded.  There was no taking that one back, (y/n) was already laughing.
“Just admit it, Megumi.  Some part of you wanted to kiss me, so you did”
“Not until you admit that you asked me to, technically”
“Fine! I did ask you to! Happy?”
“Delighted, because I wanted to!”
“Well if you’ve wanted to so bad then why are you yelling at me and not kissing me!?”
“I don’t know!”
With a simultaneous groan of frustration, the pair don’t waste anymore time arguing before acting.  She all but throws herself against him but Megumi’s just as swift at wrapping his arms around her waist to hold her off her feet and at a height that gives him easy reach to slam his lips against hers.  Every once of passion he’d poured into their last kiss is revisited in full with this one too, and (y/n) starts to get the idea that every kiss is going to sweep her off her feet all the same.
With her arms wound around his neck to better keep herself secure, she hopes that he feels every bit of electricity that she does.
And he does, he’s just a bit too preoccupied trying to balance taking in oxygen and kissing her like his life depended on it to communicate that to her now.  At least in words.  Wandering hands filled in the gaps for now.
It took them long enough, after all, there would be time to talk about it later. ___
a/n: i imagine the groupchat lights tf up after the second one :3

How to Train your Demon
Tumblr media
Pairing: trueform! Sukuna x Fem Reader
Summary: Life has all kinds of wins and losses. You don't know which category to put your new demon husband in though.
Tags: MDNI!, red string of fate trope, true form sukuna, librarian reader, soul mates, reincarnation, accidental summoning, love at first sight (but it's one-sided (until it's not)), Sukuna is demon, but he's v much in love, smut and stuff eventually i guess....
Part: I. II. III. IV. V. VI. VII. VIII. IX. X. XI.
Tumblr media
Rule no. 5: Never leave him unattended
“Are you going to stay with us, To–”
“I am not helping you babysit your demon. I already deal with Megumi on my own,” Toji said. You rolled your eyes as you walked into the vast shopping mall. It was the morning time on a Sunday. Not too many people meandering about, but the ones who were looking found the trio (rightfully) strange. Sukuna stood behind you like a guard of sorts, and no matter how many times you told him that you were fine he was insistent on not standing too close.
“The market has changed,” he said gravely.
“It has quite a bit,” you responded. You tugged on his robe, wanting him to follow you into the closest store that you found. Sukuna squinted at the mannequins with no face posing with the latest season trends, tapping his fingernail on the lifeless body.
“Are they cursed?” “They’re not real.”
You carelessly turned your attention away from Sukuna. A new shimmery gold handbag grabbed your attention, and you wheeled it around in your hands trying to find the price tag. The scent of burnt plastic tickled your nose, and you were going to call Sukuna to follow you back when you realized that the smell was coming from him.
The mannequin that once was jumping in joy now bubbled and hissed in a molten puddle on the floor. You had no idea what happened but Sukuna stood over it with his arms tucked in his kimono.
“It was weak.”
“Don’t just stand there, move before an associate comes by,” Toji hissed. He grabbed your arm, pulling you out of your shock and in turn you grabbed Sukuna’s hand.
“I thought you were leaving?” You gasped.
“And leave with that lunatic?” Toji exasperated. “It’s almost time for school to start. I could buy Megumi some new clothes.”
You were going to ask about Megumi when Sukuna caught your attention again. People who worked in kiosks that usually have no shame when it comes to shoving a new product in passerbys, were distancing themselves from Sukuna. The only person brave enough was a jeweler who looked at Sukuna with bright eyes.
“Hey, why don’t you come over here so we can get you dripped out? Let’s see a smile, we can get you some grills.”
“N-no, we’re good,” you answered for him, tugging Sukuna away.
“It’s a shame. We got diamonds as big as he is!”
“Trust me, we don’t need them,” you waved. You were yanked back into place despite your attempt to move forward. Sukuna had stopped walking and was looking at the kiosk intently.
“You used to be adorned in jewels. Emeralds and rubies were your favorite.” He gazed back at you. “Did your preferences change?”
You had no idea why your heart fluttered at his words. Maybe it was the fact that those were still your favorite stones but you only wore them on special occasions. Maybe it was the sincerity in which he asked you. You shook your head, taking his hand in both of yours. “It’s still the same. I just don’t have the money to buy you a cuban, that’s all,” you laughed.
“Money should never be a barrier,” he insisted. He rummaged through his robes in search of something but with no avail. “But then again, if you want something, take it.”
“Slow down, big guy. I don’t need it that bad,” you stopped him. If he did to those workers anything like he did the mannequin you’d have a lot more trouble on your hands. The mailman was an easy mess to sweep away considering that he barely remembered anything, but there were cameras everywhere in the mall.
“Yeah, when you guys are done fucking disgusting in public we can go to another store,” Toji rolled his eyes.
Once again you three trailed into a new story with Sukuna under close surveillance. You were glad Toji decided to stick around so he could help you choose the clothes to put on Sukuna.
Some outfits the demon agreed with and you cheered happily. Others he turned his nose up at and Toji would mutter “what the fuck does he know” under his breath until you pinched him to keep quiet.
When you had a large pile of clothes in your arms, you directed Sukuna to a dressing room to try them on to ensure the sizing was correct. You sat on a couch next to Toji in the waiting area for Sukuna to flaunt his new clothes. You leaned back into the chair, letting out a deep sigh while looking up at the ceiling.
“Oh– how is Gumi by the way?”
“He’s fine,” Toji grunted. “Worried since he can’t take the dogs with him to school and is convinced that I don’t feed them on time, but fine.”
You snorted. That does sound like the Megumi you know. He was the main reason why you ended up with Toji for a short while. He was so quiet yet inquisitive you immediately grew a soft spot for the kid. It just so happened that his very attractive father was into you. It didn’t last, your incompatibilities stacking up faster through the months, but you still cared for the little kid. You fondly smiled at memories with Megumi when Toji pulled you from your thoughts.
“Hey, are you really gonna stay with… him?”
You took a peek at Toji. His arms were crossed over his chest and he had his signature frown on his face, the one he got when he was trying to work out a problem.
“Sukuna?”
“No. The other demon you’re tethered to,” he deadpanned.
“Um… I don’t know. I really don’t know what to do in the long run,” you answered honestly.
“He can’t stay here. In our world, I mean. He has to go back,” Toji concluded.
You weren’t sold on the idea. Toji could feel your hesitance and attempted to talk some sense into you. “He has a natural form that has twice as many arms, eyes, and legs than needed. You didn’t see it, but he burnt that mannequin down with his hand,” he said raising his palm “Oh and let me guess, he probably doesn’t have a normal diet. You cannot expect me to believe that a burger will satiate him.”
Your silence was confirmation enough. Toji sighed and shook his head. “Send him back.”
“I can’t,” you admitted.
“Why not?”
“The book is technically lost,” you mumbled through your hand but Toji has impeccable hearing.
“You lost the book,” he repeated. “You lost the only thing that can send him to whatever hellhole he came from.”
“I didn’t lose it, thank you very much,” you snapped. “There was a mixup at the library and it was gone before Sukuna popped up. You can use his name every once in a while.”
“Do you know how to get it back?” Toji asked, ignoring your suggestion.
“Yeah, it’s supposed to be back at the library soon.” You twisted your hands together, biting your lip. “But Toji, he said that we are soulmates.”
“He’s a demon. They lie,” he said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Perhaps it was. That would be the most logical thing to consider. “He could be using you to free him and then he can really start destroying shit.”
“You’re not wrong,” you mutter quietly. “I just don't feel that way. I think he’s telling the truth.”
Toji stared at you like you had grown four eyes and horns. “I can’t explain it, okay? If he really wanted to hurt me, he could’ve easily done so and found someone who’s much more willing. Even though he can’t stand you, he seems to be getting along with you for my sake. You can’t tell me that’s normal for demons, whatever that is.”
Toji returned to his usual thinking frown. You patted your knees and stood up abruptly.
“He’s been in there a long time, don’t you think? I wonder if he needs help,” you say, already drifting to his stall. Toji didn’t stop you from walking down the hall and you rapped the stall door.
“Sukuna? Are you okay in there?”
“It’s all children's clothing,” said his voice from within.
The door clicked open, a sliver of the inside appearing to you and you pushed it forward.
Inside you found Sukuna in a tangled mess of clothes. One t-shirt was far too small despite being the largest size you could find and his pants bulged uncomfortably from his thick muscles. The expression on his face was utterly annoyed. You stifled  a laugh, not wanting to offend him.
“Okay, let’s try something else,” you offered. After struggling to remove the shirt for five minutes you managed to remove it from his body without tearing it, a feat you mentally patted yourself on the back for.
“I think we should stick with shirts with buttons,” you said, grabbing one of the white button down short sleeves. “But it just makes it a little harder since you have long nails.”
“Put it on for me,” he ordered.
You raised a brow. “‘Please’ would be nice to hear.”
“You expect me to beg?”
“Not beg. It’s called manners. I won’t do anything unless you ask nicely.”
An annoyed puff of air pushed through Sukuna’s nose. ‘Please’ was a desperate word. Sukuna was not desperate for anything. However, you were not changing your stance. You stared at him expectantly and another huff left him. Only you could bring him to his knees.
“You’re as stubborn as ever. Please put it on,” he said through clenched teeth.
You beamed, a reward that made the unbecoming plea worth it. “Of course I will.”
You filled the air with bubbly conversation. “I think these shirts suit you the most. I could buy it in a couple of different colors so you have something that matches the time when we go out. I know another place we can stop by and maybe they’ll have t-shirts in your size so that you can put on your clothes without assistance. What do you think?”
You faced the mirror to admire Sukuna. You wanted to step out of his way so that he could take in the shirt properly, but his hand slipped perfectly into the curve of your waist. He tilted his head, giving the shirt a quick glance before capturing your image. He leaned down and whispered in your ear.
“I believe you have great taste. I am forever in your care.”
Your heart pounded in your chest. Demons are meant to be smooth talkers, you reminded yourself. And this one wanted to talk you out of your clothes.

Tumblr media
Your mother didn't even tell you she remarried. You got home from college for the summer to find a stranger and his son living at her place. You were resistant to the whole idea, but she made you promise to give them a chance and spend time with them. They were family now, after all.
Megumi was just a year older than you. He had one more year of university before graduation, so he was in a similar situation as you. You thought maybe you could bond about it, but he wasn't very talkative and showed more interest in his video games than you.
Your new stepdad... Toji Fushiguro. You didn't even know where to start with your thoughts on him. He was sleazy, shameless, and a little more friendly than you'd like. You couldn't really figure out what he did for work, and to be honest, you wouldn't be surprised if he didn't do anything. Your mom was a chronic workaholic, constantly gone on work trips and spending late hours at the office. She could easily support the three of you on her own.
There was another thought about him that clawed at the back of your mind. The one you immediately compartmentalized, the forbidden knowledge that once fully synthesized in your mind, you wouldn't be able to erase. It remained in a little bottle, threatening to shatter every time your stepfather got home from the gym. Or took you out to dinner. Or watched a movie with you.
You tried to include Megumi as much as possible at first, if only you have a buffer. Hanging out alone with Toji felt weird. It felt wrong, though you couldn't quite pin why. But Megumi was entirely disinterested in spending time with his dad, and only marginally more interested in getting to know his new stepsister.
After a couple of months of getting used to Toji, you were starting to notice things you liked about him. He was actually there for you, for one. Your mother was never around and in the past, and she never kept a man around long enough for you to have any kind of father figure. It was just you and her, but more often than not, it was really just you. You didn't realize how lonely you were at home but with him here, at least you had someone to talk to.
You let his sleazy comments slide. The few times you'd gone out with friends, he made sure to tell you how sexy you looked. And when you got home, he grilled you on if there were any guys you had an eye on. It always flustered you, reminding you of the forbidden thought trapped in that bottle. But as long as you didn't think about it too hard, it would stay bottled up, where it should be.
You hated to admit that your mother was right. That you liked your new stepdad after giving him a chance. You liked the banter, and he was always complimenting you. He made you feel good about yourself. So in turn, you let him get away with more. When you'd watch TV with him at home, you started cuddling with him. He was warm, comforting. Maybe you were a little old to be cuddling with your stepdad, but he smelled so nice and you always wondered what it would be like.
Your mom was at a conference. Megumi was gaming in the other room. It was like any other night, and you and Toji would be left alone as usual. You were half asleep, cuddled up to his chest, when you felt a hand on your breast. It took a second to process, your gaze suddenly shooting up to your stepdad, who froze in place.
"Oh," he smiled sheepishly. "Still awake, huh?" He whispered.
Your mind instantly replayed the number of times you'd innocently fallen asleep like this, only to wake up horny and wet. He was always sleeping himself, but surely he wasn't so brazen that he made a habit of groping you, his step-daughter, while you slept.
"What are you doing?" You whispered back, glancing at Megumi's door, which was open just a crack. You wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but his hand remained on your tit.
Toji pouted a little, gazing down at you. He knew it was wrong but he always had a weakness for naive college girls. "Sorry, your mother has been gone so much lately, I'm a little... pent up." His finger lightly brushed over your nipple, sending pleasure up your spine.
"Toji, we can't..." You whispered, though you made no motions to stop him. It felt good. He smelled divine. The living room was dark, only lit by the glow of the TV screen. Megumi could emerge from his room any minute and that only made this hotter.
"I know, I know." He agreed with you, but his fingers kept kneading your breast. "I just really like spending time with you. I wanted to take it a little further. Make you feel good." Heat flooded your body. You were sure if he could see your expression, he'd know about the dark thought threatening to take over.
You and your mother had the same taste in men. Admittedly you'd always been fixated on older men, maybe trying to fill the void the lack of a father had. But he filled that void perfectly. The reason it felt weird to spend time with him was because you wanted this. You wanted him to touch you and praise you. And you wanted more.
"I'll stop if you want me to." He added. It was too late, the desire in your body burning a hole in your innocence. The buried feelings you had for him shattered that tiny bottle. You wanted to fuck your stepdad.
Your face felt hot. You looked at the TV, playing sports highlights that you couldn't care less about. The sound was loud enough that you couldn't hear the clacking on Megumi's keyboard. And the sinful thought that entered your mind was that Megumi couldn't hear anything happening in here, either.
"No..." your voice was nearly silent. "Don't stop."
His eyes widened for a moment, movements paused. "Oh?" The empathetic smile on his face was replaced with one of a predator. The man could have torn himself away from you a moment ago but now? Even if you changed your mind he'd be playing those words in his head over and over until he could coerce them from your lips again. "You sure?" He added, in an attempt to appear more respectful than he intended to be.
The glow of the TV highlighted your features as you looked back at him. Your eyes were big and soft, like you were on the verge of taking back the permission you just gave him. Before you could say a word, his free hand tilted your chin, pressing a tender kiss to your lips. All the while, he massaged your breast again, your body melted against his.
"It's ok, princess. Just say the word and I'll stop." His voice was sensual, a soft murmur in your ear before his lips pressed to your neck. Shivers ran up your spine and you arched your back, giving him easier access to your collarbone.
It felt so good. His undivided attention, his touch, it was like a drug that you couldn't get enough of.
You knew you should tell him to stop as he tugged you onto his lap. You straddled his thick thighs, feeling his bulge against your clothed cunt. You knew how wrong it was for you to let him lift your top. The feeling of the forbidden pleasure coursed through you as he peppered kisses on your breasts. He was married to your mother. Thoughts of her long erased by his lips wrapping around your nipple. His tongue flicked the bud as your breathing became unsteady. He had a kid your age. But Toji Fushiguro doted on you, his son in the other room nearly forgotten as his thick fingers felt your pussy through the thin pajama shorts you wore.
Finally, finally you were the favorite. His fingers pushed your shorts and panties aside, sliding his cock into the space between the fabric and your wet cunt. It didn't matter that your mother ignored you in favor of the revolving door of your her lovers anymore. His thick girth was nestled perfectly between your pussy lips. You didn't need to grasp at straws trying to relate to your uninterested stepbrother. Toji's tip danced at your entrance, making you tingle with anticipation as you let yourself drown in his affection.
"So fuckin' sexy..." He mumbled against your breast. The praise nearly made you whimper, glancing at Megumi's cracked door as you bit your lip. "Wanna do me a favor?"
Words still escaped you, meeting his gaze with a shy nod of your head. It was almost cute, as if you were trying to play up the innocent act. Toji wanted nothing more than to flip you on your back and fuck you mercilessly on the couch until you were screaming his name. Get you to admit you'd been flirting and leading him on this whole time. After all, what kind of a slut shows this much interest in her stepdad? But with Megumi in the other room, he needed you quiet. And he knew just the perfect way to tease you.
"Just want you wrapped around me for a minute." He pushed his hips up so you could feel his cock sliding in your folds.
"Toji, we..." you trailed off a moment, considering how desperately you wanted to say yes. Your eyes were on Megumi's door again, dreading the idea that he could get up at any moment and find the two of you like this. "We shouldn't." You whispered.
"It's not sex." His hands were on your ass, encouraging you to grind against his dick. Your body moved with a mind of its own, the friction adding to the heat bubbling in your core. "Just a little cockwarming. It's no big deal."
"I don't know..." You knew there were reasons to say no but none of them came to mind anymore. You were so needy and horny and you felt yourself melting into every touch.
"It'll feel good. Don't you want to feel good?" He pressed his lips to your ear, whispering softly. His finger found your clit, toying with the sensitive bud as you rolled your hips against him.
You didn't answer, freezing up while pleasure coursed through you. Your cunt ached, desperate to be filled with him. You buried your face in his neck, panting as you whined silently in response.
"C'mon, princess." He fingered you faster, a sadistic grin spreading on his face. You were close. He could tell you were close from how fucking wet you were. Even his balls were soaked. "You want me to stop?" He slowed his ministrations, watching your reaction carefully.
"Don't stop." You immediately murmured. Your core frustratingly teetered on edge, frowning at your stepfather for toying with you like this. "Fuck," you moaned softly, careful to remain as silent as possible. You'd had sex before but college boys were nothing compared to him. You'd never ever wanted someone so bad. "I wanna cockwarm you..."
"Good girl." Toji grinned, and the praise went straight to your cunt. He lined himself up, your natural slick more than enough lubrication despite his size. It was a tight fit, he slowly eased your hips down until he bottomed out with a groan. "So good for me... my perfect angel..." admiration dripped from his lips.
The praise alone was enough for your pussy to flutter around him. Your back arched, a lewd expression on your face as your gaze met his. He smirked, now knowing how easy it would be to make you cum. "Stay still for me, princess. No matter what." You eagerly nodded your head, hoping for more praise. But he said nothing, instead groping your tits before latching on again.
He paid close attention to your irregular breathing. As his tongue and teeth tugged at your nipple, one of his hands toyed with your other breast. His free hand slid down your torso and into your panties, swirling around your clit. Your breath hitched, your cunt tightening around him. Feeling how full his big dick made you. You were getting close again as desire bubbled in your core.
You sighed with ecstasy, obediently doing your best not to move around. Slick now drooled onto the base of his cock, your sweet pussy clenching around him as your pleasure heightened, a familiar heat swirling within you. You felt so sensitive, fighting the instincts that were desperate for friction. You bit your knuckle holding back the moan that threatened to burst as Toji's movements sped up.
Your whole body tensed up, your orgasm suddenly and violently washing through you. Your cunt squeezed him as he helped you ride through the pleasure, his hands now gripping your hips to hold you in place. He continued to suck your tit, although his movement slowed to allow you to breathe. Still, he refused to pull out until he felt an aftershock or two strangle his cock.
"Such a good girl." Toji murmured in the shell of your ear, tugging you against his chest and leaning back onto the sofa.

So I was thinking maybe ..can you make a reincarnated version of a princess reader and sukuna ? Like they were lovers in past but she died because villagers killed her and her family because her father was cruel but she was nice to everyone actually and that’s why he fell for her and after 400 years he saw her again but this time she’s one of the sorcerers
For Eternity
Ryomen Sukuna X fem! Sorcerer Reader (Reincarnated)

Angst with happy ending <3
Tumblr media
Halted mid-fight. Crimson eyes that were amused while fighting Megumi are now wide open, in shock. Aflamed with ancient fire. His mouth parted in disbelief, unable to form a sentence while looking at you, standing in front of him, in your full glory.
“That's impossible” he managed to say.
Too distracted by your surprise appearance, the love of his life, his princess, the woman he couldn't uproot from his mind despite being separated from her for 400 years, after some villagers murdered her along side her family.
Too engrossed in your face, the face he missed so much, he didn't notice Megumi's attack.
Ryomen Sukuna, the king of curses, that hundreds of sorcerers from different timelines tried to kill him but failed, ended up receiving a powerful punch on his face by Megumi.. because of you, because your presence made him weak and easily targeted.
That punch knocked some sense in him, waking him up from his trance. Now easily dodging Megumi's hits, shoving him aside, no longer interested in fighting some jujutsu sorcerer.
“Y/n” he said as he took a closer step to you, his voice was so soft and sweet, making Megumi look in confusion. “My princess” he added, gently extending his hand to you,
but was met with your cold eyes, clenching your fists into a fighting position, ready to use your jujutsu technique and kill him. Sukuna chuckled in confusion, why on earth would you fight the man you loved against your family and people's will?
“What are you doing? Y/n?” he asked not realizing that being reincarnated means forgetting your past life.
“What am I doing? I'm going to exorcise you Ryomen Sukuna and free the world from your evil” you exclaimed in a challenging voice, yet perplexed by his question and how he knew your name even though it was your first time meeting.
“Y/N RUN” yelled Megumi from the other side as Sukuna got way too close to you, but you stood your ground.
“No you won't kill me! it's me!! the man you swore to love forever–” he explained.
“HUH?!” you and Megumi said in union.
“Are you insane? clearly living for 1000 years damaged your brain” you said in a harsh tone,
furious that Sukuna was toying with you, even though he was telling the truth. Without hesitation, you started attacking him. To your and Megumi's surprise, he didn't fight you back, or even bother to block your hits, you found it as an opportunity to harm him and maybe success in exorcising him.
His soul ached with each blow you landed on him, with the words you said to him.
“Y/n stop” he said,
but you're a jujutsu sorcerer, you can't stop, you fight to protect the weak you fight to kill curses, that's what you do. He suddenly grabbed your arm and pulled you to his chest,
“Fucking stop it Y/n and fucking remember who you truly are” he yelled.
You fought against his tight grasp even though he was holding you so delicately, yet so securely afraid to let go, afraid he might loose you again.
“I'm a jujutsu sorcerer, that's what I truly am–”
“NO YOU'RE NO SORCERER, YOU'RE THE ONE WHO I REMAINED LOYAL TO EVEN AFTER YOUR DEATH, FOR LONG 400 YEARS, YOU CAN'T BE A SORCERER WHEN YOU'RE ALREADY MINE”
You couldn't say anything but stare, eyebrows frowned with the intake of words that Sukuna said to you. When he first approached you, you thought he'd easily snap you in half, or torture you to death. But he did the unexpected, the thing that nor you or Megumi anticipated. He just held you close, and started babbling nonesense.
As long as you were safe, Megumi didn't do anything, he stood there and watched things unfold, too surprised to even react.
“I.AM.NOT.YOURS” you said through gritted teeth, freeing yourself from his embrace, eyes narrowing
“Then who the hell are you?” he asked in disappointment, his eyes fixated on your figure, trying to take into every detail of yours.
Even after years, your face and body that he worshipped and still do, is still engraved im his mind to this day.
“I already said it, I'm a jujutsu sorcerer, and I exorcise things like you” you spitted angrily.
“Things?” he repeated,
his soul shattering with the eco of your voice that rang in his ears. You weren't the princess whose kindness and gentleness captivated his cold heart and ascended on the throne of his ego. Sukuna never believed in love, just power and total vigor. But a princess, with a modest heart and a pure soul swept him off his feet, 400 years ago, making him weak and needy for love, something he never experienced, something he never dreamt of untill he met you. But now, you stood in front of him, cold and distant, full of hatred and enmity towards him. Maybe..maybe if your father wasn't cruel, maybe if those fool villagers didn't kill you, maybe if Sukuna knew beforehand and manged to save you and keep you alive, you'd still be his princess, by his side and not the jujutsu sorcerer you are.
“Then you leave me with no choice Y/n” he muttered,
the idea of killing you, killed him more.
“Y/N” yelled Megumi panicking.
You wanted to run away for your life, but you couldn't. Too scared to even move? Too attached to the idea that jujutsu sorcerers never run away? Or an invisible power held you in place?
Sukuna's red eyes started glowing, evil and scary expression drawn on his face once again, making him the ruthless king of curses that he is. His eyes couldn't leave yours, taking into your sight, one last time before be kills you.
Air hitched in your lungs from fear, you knew there's no point in fighting him back now, as your jujutsu that you've spent your whole life mastering is now useless. You closed your eyes, waiting for him to just do it and end it all, your life wasn't special....but your past life was..Oh if you knew that, you wouldn't give in to death so easily.
You waited and waited but nothing happened....
Jolting, a startled gasp left your mouth when Megumi shook you awake.
“M-megumi?...Am I dead?”
“What? No!”
“D-did you kill Sukuna?”
“No”
“Then we're both dead?”
“NO, he left”
“left?”
Is it a miracle? Did Sukuna pity you and spared your life? All these questions burned in your throat, craving answers.
“Let's go” said Megumi dragging you back to Jujutsu High.
A long sleepless night, how could you sleep after the king of curses confessed his undying love to you? What is so special about you that stopped him from splitting you in half? Looking at the dark ceiling, mind wide awake for hours now.
“What game was Sukuna playing?” you said to yourself.
You refused to believe his words, but you couldn't brush the curiosity that stirred inside you. Putting your jacket on, you headed outside for some fresh air, the room was too suffocating for you. You stood outside looking at the starry night above you, eyes fixated on one particular star, your favorite that you used to watch.
“I have to meet him again” you muttered to yourself.
You knew he could easily kill you, were you dumb or brave to chase the truth from Sukuna? You needed to know, even though you put the possibility of him making all of this up to get to Gojo Satoru and the other strong sorcerers.
Busy in your thoughts, a hand covered your mouth, making you freeze in place. You could feel his strong presence, no one other than him Sukuna Ryomen. Heart hammering against your ribcage, as if he was reading your mind, you wanted to meet him again and he showed up in the middle of the night, emerging from darkness...just for you.
“Come with me”
And who were you to fight against his will, so you followed along, his hand still on your mouth and his other arm wrapped protectively around you..he was trying to protect you while you thought he's the danger. He was loving you while you thought he's the enemy. Taking you to an abandoned place, up on a hill– Everything looked so small from up there, the city lights glistening.
“You always liked to go up on a hill and watch the sunrise with me, you said they are a proof that everyday is a new beginning and a new chance” he started, peacefully looking down at the lights.
Your eyes widened, how did he know you enjoyed watching the sunrise? was he stalking you?
“If you kidnapped me to kill me then do it already!” you said coldly but deep inside shivering form his presence.
“Kill you? 400 years mourning your death and you expect me to kill you?” he said in a sad tone, his palm cupping your cheek, as his thumb caressed the smooth skin. He closed his eyes enjoying the sensation, “I love you Y/n” he added.
You could have stepped back, but something was holding you still, an unexplained force
“But I'm alive, what death are you talking about? Are you trying to drive me insane? What game are you playing Sukuna?” you drowned him in questions, that only him hold the answers for.
You almost broke down, tears threatening to fall. He helped you sit down and took a seat next to you
“I know you're confused, I can't balme you, I'm confused too, but let me explain to you..”
you nodded weakly, all what you wanted in the first place was an explanation.
“We were lovers, many years ago, you were mine... A gentle princess that I couldn't help but fall for..you, you were a princess Y/n– your family ruled back then, your father, a cruel man, an abuser who made your life a living hell, you used to escape from him and come to me, you found safety and warmth in my arms. Despite my sins, despite my cruelty, I was always gentle with you, I've never hurt you and never will, I've lived to protect you...but I failed..” he paused clenching his jaw and tightening his fists, “They took you away from me, you were a victim of their revenge, they wanted your father to suffer by taking what he had, thinking that Killing his family would make him pay for his wrong deeds towards the villagers he oppressed.....you were the price Y/n..I couldn't get a chance to revive you, they burned you alive, leaving me with nothing but emptiness..I killed them all even your father..”
You gulped, how could you believe this when you clearly have a complete different life now. It was hard to swallow his words.
“Maybe I just look like her?..I mean your past lover, maybe it's just a coincidence we have the same name and face, may–”
“NO, it's not just your face, it's your soul, I can feel it”
“So you're saying I'm a reincarnation?” you questioned and he nodded. You stood up quickly, leaving him,
“NO Y/N WAIT.. your favorite flower is Ajisai, you enjoy looking at them” he spoke trying to prove to you that he knows more about you
“Its just a guess Sukuna, anyone can like Ajisai, not only me” you fought the urge to believe him and started walking away,
“You have a crystal necklace, I gave it to you when we first met” he said again,
and you stopped in your track, no one ever saw your necklace it was always hidden beneath your clothes..
“A star, appears in the west, you've named it Heiwa (japanese word for Peace), your favorite star, manifesting peace whenever you looked at it. Collecting leaves in Autumn, you liked the degradation of the colors. Watching the rain pour for hours, dancing while getting soaked with it, saying it purifies us, Admiring the butterflies during spring, wishing that one day you become free like them...” he added.
Electricity ran through you, hands shaking, breathing heavily as your heart raced inside. How could he know every detail about you? your habits? how could he be so accurate? It's not just a coincidence so how? You turned slowly, facing him again,
“W-who are you?”
“Ryomen Sukuna, your lover”
“I can't remember anything..” you choked on tears.
“You will, if you don't fight it back, embrace it and memories will flow back” he reassured..
The first light of dawn appeared on the horizon, a gentle gradation of purples and pinks painted the sky, gradually giving way to warm oranges and yellow. You and Sukuna watched, eyes glued ti the sky, putting you at ease, as the sun rays pierced through the darkness, casting a golden glow..maybe this sunrise is a new beginning for both of you.
“I- I have to go..”
“Wait Y/n.. promise me that you'll try to remember ” he pleaded,
you nodded, sadness taking over you, you left to Jujutsu High with a heavy heart. Was your whole life a lie?
“Where have you been?” asked Gojo, catching you as you snuck into the school.
“I- Um, I” you stuttered.
“Megumi told me about your encounter with Sukuna..hm so curious, how the king of curses withdraws from a battle field?”
you remained silent as you teacher Gojo tried to read your face,
“I don't know” you said.
“I think he's got something for you Y/n”
“It doesn't matter, right?”
“Nah it does, we can use it against him maybe..”
“How?”
“It seems like Sukuna has a weakness..you!”
“And?”
“We grasp the opportunity, you trick him and lead him to our trap, if you're in of course!” he suggested.
Will you betray him and forget about the promise you just made, to try and remember.
“I don't know Sensei, I'll think about it” you answered, you weren't in a stable state of mind of take such decision.
“Take all the time you need y/n-chan” he said with a wide smile.
Straight to your room, no missions for today, you needed solitude, you needed to know who you truly were. Locked inside no matter how much your friends tried to drag you out. Thinking and thinking.. holding the necklace that Sukuna assumed he's the one who gifted it to you. You've never remember how you got in the first place, you've been wearing it for your whole life now, its just an accessory.
Day after day, growing impatient and anxious, you thought you were going crazy, unable to focus on your present while trying to remember your past. Sleepless nights, exhaustion and living nightmares.
Enough is a enough. Sneaking out of Jujutsu High, going up that hill again. You were hoping to find Sukuna there, you wanted to tell him him to just forget about you and to kill you next time in battle. You couldn't remember, but you knew there was something hidden, far away from your reach and it tortured you. With heavy steps you hiked up...but he wasn't there...Sighing, maybe it was all a lie. Your eyes looked up, there was Heiwa, the star you named.
“please show me the truth...please I need to remember ” you pleaded to the universe, desperately whispering.
You brought you necklace that was hidden under your sweater, kissing it. The soft morning lights started crawling, your favorite star's glow slowly fading..
“Who am Im?” you asked again.
Suddenly the crystal on your necklace started ti glow once it was touched by the sun's rays. Your eyes widened, the necklace was always tucked under your clothes, never seen the day light. Each luminous pulse from the crystal seemed to sync with your heartbeat. Eyes fixated on it, you held it up, exactly in the middle aligned with the sun that rose from the east and the star thay faded in the west. The crystal radiated with memories from your past life
“I accept it, I accept my truth” you whispered.
Images, voices, scents, faces and emotions started to flow into your mind like a running river. Overwhelmed by the sudden remembrance you started crying
“I-its real” you cried out.
The crystal that once was worn as a simple accessory, transformed into a vessel of remembrance, channeling gour past life into your present, it channelled your love for Sukuna as well. Your heart suddenly full of him, as if you loved him for years, as if you've never been apart.
“Sukuna– I have to find him” you said to yourself,
ready to run as fast as you could to reach your lover and hug him again, to feel his warmth. As you turned at a random speed, you bumped into his chest, he was there, for you. His arms circled around your body, stopping you form stumbling backwards.
“S-sukuna?” you said softly,
throwing yourself into his embrace, burying your head in the crook of his neck, while sobbing uncontrollably. His strong arms pulled you close, leaving no space between your bodies.
“I knew you'd remember” he said smiling nuzzling into your hair.
You pulled away a little to look at his face, his thumb wiped your tears, his touch making your heart pound fast.
“I love you” you confessed.
“I love you too, I swear I'll protect you , I won't let anyone take you away from me this time”.
He pressed his lips against yours, pouring all of his love that was kept unspoken of after your death for 400 years into the kiss. You kissed him back, passionately. He pushed your head from the back further to his face, deepening the kiss. Oh how much he missed your taste, how much he missed your soft lips and how perfectly they fit with his. Leaving you completely breathless, hungry for more– His lips danced in sync with yours, completely devouring each other. He finally rested his forehead on yours and said,
“It doesn't matter, past or present, because in each life, you'll be only mine”.

middle aged toji fucking his son’s girlfriend cuz he’s a fucking scumbag of a father and obviously, who wouldn’t wanna fuck a tight lil pussy like that, even the more when you’ve been so so obviously teasing him ever since megumi introduced you to each other.
-
toji’s son, your boyfriend was already asleep on the couch after he decided that he should maybe start visiting his father more often now that he moved away after college and toji lived alone in such a big house.
you couldn’t sleep so you decided to go and get a glass of water in the kitchen, just wearing your boyfriend’s shirt and nothing else because you’ve already visited few times and felt safe enough to do so, panties sticking out as the shirt barely reached the bottom of your ass.
you almost gasped out loud but definitely jumped up a little once you heard your boyfriend’s dad’s deep voice, blushing a little bit as he stood right behind you to get something from the upper cupboard above you.
“ ‘gumi’s asleep?” he asked quietly and you let out a soft ‘yes sir’, taking a sip of your water.
you had to admit that he turned you on, made your panties drenched and tummy all tight. he towered above you, wide shoulders practically hiding you completely and oh, his gaze really did something to you. he was a really attractive guy but from what megumi told you, he was quite the piece of shit yet you couldn’t help but admire him any time you saw him.
obviously, you noticed how he’s been staring at you ever since you and his son become a couple. never touched you, never said anything. just hungry tired eyes staring you up and down whenever you two visited. and maybe, just maybe you enjoyed that and teased him and all, leaving your panties there few times and acting so so surprised when you’d never get them back. or acting like the sweetest little girl ever around him which oh, that was his weak spot.
and honestly, you don’t know how toji’s cock found its way into your cute little mouth few minutes later after a short small talk at 2 am in the morning, kneeling down like the good girl he knew you were, sucking his big fat cock as he rested back against the kitchen counter, his poor dick finally getting some attention, head lolling back few times as oh, you had such a little mouth that he was afraid to even fuck it but god, you knew how to work it so goddamn well.
he stared down at you with those soft hungry eyes of his, always seeming like he hasn’t slept in days, hair quite messy from probably rolling around in bed, sweatpants pooling at his ankles, tank top slightly rolled up as you sucked, bobbing your head and keeping eye contact with the older.
you whined a little bit, slurping at his cock as you used your hands as well, nodding your head after he shushed you, knowing that in the room next to the kitchen was your boyfriend soundly asleep.
he soon pulled you away and lifted you up on the counter no problem, not even realizing how light you were but god, it did something to him definitely. along with your soft hips and tummy, tits resting prettily under your shirt, nipples hard and prominent through the fabric. such a pretty little thing.
you immediately pulled your legs apart, he didn’t even have to say nothing, making him almost wanna chuckle, how dirty a sweet face like yours could be. he hooked two of his fingers under your underwear and pulled it aside, revealing your puffy wet clit, which was so hard not to notice and not to play with, the older rubbing at the little nub with his thumb as you sighed shakily which cause the male to use his other hand to shut you up.
“be a good girl and don’t wake your boyfriend up, yeah?” he rasped out to you in a low voice and you nodded your head, wanting to listen to him and be a good little girl, staying dead silent even though you were shaking, toji’s fingers all sticky and wet with your juices after stuffing that tight cunnie of yours with two of ‘em.
and oh, you couldn’t wait any longer, you just really really needed it, that tight coil in your lower tummy so so annoying, staring at the male the whole time as he rubbed the tip of his cock against your entrance, knowing he was after a vasectomy so there was nothing to worry about.
you inched your hips slowly closer to him, practically melting and falling apart on his cock once he began to fuck you, leaving you practically stunned and dumb founded, starry fucked out eyes watching the older male as he rolled his hips into your wet slimy mess of a cunt.
“that’s a good girl, shit..” he whispered out, abs flexing whenever he pulled out almost all the way and could feel how tight you were around him.
your mouth was still covered which you were glad for, shaky little pants leaving you still, your boyfriend’s father basically destroying you on his dick, making you forget everything and anything you’ve ever known except for pleasure.
he knew you’ve been innocently teasing him, testing the waters, how much he could handle and withstand and oh, he wanted you to learn a lesson not to do that or this would happen.
his other hand caressed your body, resting on your to your thigh and eventually going back to stroking your clit, so so puffy and red like the rest of your messy cunt as he fucked you nice and deep.
maybe even few more times, bending you over against the counter, practically lifting you off the ground whenever he’d hold your hips, watching how hard it’d be for you to keep your mouth shut.
maybe, just maybe, even fucking you for the third time, letting you hug him and hold onto him like a tick as he’d rut his hips into your soapy cunt already filled with two of his loads and you yourself having came a bunch already.
and then letting you waddle back to your boyfriend’s arms, legs all wobbly and cunt full of his seed, all messy and trembly after fucking you nice and good to warn you what happens when you tease him for too long before going out for a quick cig.
not like it was of any help because this was definitely worth the teasing in your opinion.

megumi and mahoraga: understanding megumi’s strategy & dismantling the jokes
i think one of the biggest misconceptions about megumi’s character is that he is a trigger happy loose cannon that is willing to throw his life away at any inconvenience. so for this post, i want to help in understanding the strategy in which megumi employs what he thinks for most of the story is his “ace in the hole,” his secret weapon that will ensure his victory, even if it comes with his death.
mostly, i’m just sick of the mahoraga jokes, and megumi being the butt of 85% of the jokes in this fandom in general, as well as the bum allegations, etc. megumi is not as weak or as reckless as a lot of people think, and i will have more to say about this soon🤞
in order to do this, i’ll be unpacking each time he allegedly attempted to summon mahoraga, including some false allegations as well.
against potential sukuna in ch1
Tumblr media
at this point, megumi is unsure of a lot of things. he’s unsure of if he’s talking to yuuji or sukuna. he’s unsure of how powerful sukuna, the legendary king of curses, truly is. he’s unsure of how yuuji or sukuna will react to him attempting to kill them. he’s already seen how strong yuuji is without sukuna, so it’s reasonable (and correct) to assume that with sukuna’s power, he could easily take out megumi and all of his shikigami easily.
another thing to consider is that megumi is seriously injured, and likely concussed, which would impact his ability to maintain and control his shikigami. already, he’s been unable to summon nue, and his divine dogs have disappeared.
in a case where he is up against a special grade(+) curse with unknown power just in a single finger, and he is injured and unable to maintain his other shikigami, he pulls out his secret weapon because he doesn’t want to be responsible for sukuna going rampant in sendai, so even if he dies, he’ll have trapped sukuna in this ritual that would likely kill him too.
against sukuna (again) in ch9
Tumblr media
sukuna is now 3x as strong as he was the first time megumi encountered him, and megumi has attempted to fight him both with his fists and his shikigami. he knows that his severely overpowered. he was already pushed to his limit by saving kugisaki as well. he’s lost two of his shikigami in one day, and nue is at its limit, he notes.
he knows there’s not much more he can do, but he still needs to stop sukuna because, again, he needs to take responsibility for both itadori eating the finger and saving his life. the only thing he has left is mahoraga. again, it makes perfect sense. he has no remaining options, but he knows what must be done.
the next three are played up in the anime, but in the manga, it’s more vague. i won’t spend much time on them because it’s purely speculative.
(alleged) against todo in ch17
Tumblr media
this never happened, and while it was played up like he was going to in the anime, i just don’t get why. he would never have summoned mahoraga against todo. megumi is a cautious fighter and does only what’s necessary, saving and building his energy as necessary (this is a different post). he also is trying to avoid conflict as much as possible in this scene, so there’s no reason why he would summon mahoraga here.
(alleged) against hanami in ch46 & ch47
something else that i think was more clear in the anime, but vague in the manga.
Tumblr media
in ch46, his hands are near the position, and he is thinking about how much stronger hanami is compared to inumaki, arguably the strongest (or at least rated highest) out of the three sorcerers there (megumi, inumaki, and kamo). it’s possible that he was about to summon mahoraga, but again, he realizes at this point that he’s severely overpowered. kamo has gone down. he thinks that inumaki is finished too. it’s just him and this curse he can’t hold a candle too. he figures if he’s going to die anyway, that he might as well try to take hanami out with him.
Tumblr media
this thought process is developed more in ch47. he says he needs to use “everything he’s got” because “it’s inexcusable that he be the first to go down.” he’s concerned about his burden and responsibility, and doesn’t want to be the reason why more people get hurt. so since hanami’s curse will already kill him if he uses more jujutsu, he refuses to be the only one who goes down.
against the finger-bearer in ch58
Tumblr media
again, it’s a similar situation to others that he’s been in. he’s cornered, severely injured, overpowered, and his shikigami are not holding up as a match against the finger bearer. he even thinks ahead of summoning mahoraga that he might die.
plus, it’s more serious than “if i’m going to die, i’m taking you with me.” it’s tsumiki who’s at stake, as well as kugisaki and itadori, who are nearby. he needs this curse to be exorcized. ultimately, he chooses to use his domain expansion for the first time instead.
against toji in ch113
Tumblr media
he only briefly considers it (or so it seems). but one thing the anime does a horrible job of showing is that megumi is nearly burnt out of cursed energy, mainly from holding his domain in dagon’s domain (understandable, considering that’s such an impressive feat. he held it for a long time too). he’s also injured, so much so that he’s saying he’ll need to go to shoko if he can get away, which brings me into The Mahoraga Summoning.
against haruta in ch117
Tumblr media
every time i see people talk about this, it’s always “why did he pull out mahoraga against this nobody?” i mean, it’s exactly the reasons i just mentioned. after fighting toji, he’s nearly completely burnt out of energy, and on top of that, he’s injured. he’s actually on his way to see shoko before he gets stabbed by haruta. he’s barely able to walk.
megumi is out of options. he can hardly stand for the summoning ritual. how is he supposed to fight off anyone, nobody or not? his one weapon he has left is mahoraga. he knows sukuna is out and about. he knows he can’t let haruta walk away from this. it’s the same thought process. “i’m going to die, so i’m going to take you with me.”
against sukuna in ch212
Tumblr media
this seems like the most self-explanatory, in my opinion. seriously, what is he supposed to do against 15 fingers worth of sukuna? i love megumi, and i will argue up and down that he’s very strong, and severely underestimated by the fandom, but against 15 fingers of sukuna? maki and yuuji, who are both around the same level as megumi in terms of strength, couldn’t take down 15 finger sukuna TOGETHER. megumi alone doesn’t stand a chance.
again, it comes back to his sense of responsibility. he was the one who saved yuuji, and allowed this to happen. it’s why he says “it’s our fault,” to yuuji. so he takes responsibility for taking sukuna down.
ultimately, megumi’s use of mahoraga is incredibly strategic. he only pulls it out in situations where he absolutely has no other options. it’s also an extension of his sense of responsibility, in many cases, particularly regarding sukuna. he was the one who saved yuuji, so he has to be the one to take down sukuna. finally, he doesn’t want to lose. he says that before the kyoto goodwill event, but i think he meant it as an overall statement. if he dies, he will be taking his opponent with him.
megumi is not trigger happy. he’s not a loose cannon. he’s not reckless with his life. he makes calculated moves that align with his goals and motivations.

「 FALLING FOR YOU 」
Tumblr media
synopsis: who fell first and who fell harder
characters: itadori yuji, fushiguro megumi, gojo satoru, okkotsu yuta
Tumblr media
ITADORI YUJI ➽ he fell first, and he fell harder
Let's be honest, this poor boy has gone through so much. And to have someone who reciprocates his feelings? He felt like he was on cloud nine when he learned that you thought the same thing; "I love you too, Yuji." So much so that he made you repeat it again and again until he was forcefully pulled away by Megumi and Nobara, as you were too overwhelmed by Yuji's... several confessions?—practically busy exploding in joy yourself to configure another thought.
Nothing in the entire world could be better than being with you for the rest of his life, and he made sure that you knew that there were no doubts.
Whatever or whenever it was, Yuji was at your beck and call. You may as well have compared him to a golden retriever-like boyfriend, because that was exactly what it was. He was so incredibly touched that you reciprocated his feelings, so much so that he wanted you to know for sure that he was devoted to you and only you. And in that regard, he indeed succeeded.
FUSHIGURO MEGUMI ➽ you fell first, and you fell harder
No one, not Gojo, Yuji, Nobara, or even yourself—would've ever expected you to fall in love with such an aloof person, that person being the stone that is Fushiguro Megumi. Something that intrigued you from the moment you met him. It was shocking, and honestly, even refreshing, to see Megumi smiling. His stoic demeanour in saying practically anything, regardless of its seriousness, and his piercing, borderline terrifying gaze hid a plethora of emotions beneath that impassive tone of his, and try as you might, you couldn't help but feel drawn to him.
But as much as Megumi loved you, he also kept his distance from you. And that pained you to think that perhaps Megumi really didn't care about you as much as you thought—that is, until you realized the reason for why. He just didn't want you to be in danger. He tried to keep you far away from him, but for that reason alone, you found yourself falling harder and harder for the boy who had captured your heart. All that he did, the danger that he put himself under, was for you. And before you even knew it, you found yourself hopelessly in love with the person who had now become the centre of your world.
GOJO SATORU ➽ you fell first, and he fell harder
At first, it was just a tiny crush. Perhaps even a little more. Because, let's be real, who wouldn't be at least somewhat attracted to the strongest sorcerer? At first, that's what you thought. There was no way that someone as powerful as Gojo Satoru would pay attention to an average sorcerer like yourself, right? Wrong.
As Utahime and Megumi would say with utter conviction, Gojo can be an arrogant bastard at times. He's aloof, confident, and charismatic, but he's also just an individual—just an everyday human being. You were the one who truly understood him. You loved him for who he was—not for superficial reasons the rest of his world saw, but because he was a guy whose heart was genuine.
And he found himself falling for you, truly. He found himself loving and appreciating every part of you. To have someone so genuine, so open, unlike him, forced to view himself as merely "the strongest." He felt as though he could be weak around you. He fell hard for you and only you, and that would never change. Anything less would be a betrayal of your love.
OKKOTSU YUTA ➽ he fell first, and you both fell harder
I'd like to think that Yuta, for sure, has thoughts that he doesn't deserve to have you. So he stares from a distance. Everything that he did, the life that he lived, was cursed to a degree that nobody saw when he dared to acknowledge. He thought that you didn't deserve that. But even as he muttered those words to you that day, you looked at him—not with fear, not with disgust, not even with pity, but with sympathy and love.
His vulnerability, even when he was at his lowest, was undeniable. But that made you even more determined to help him—to be that person that Yuta could, for once in his life, lean on without reservation. His timid yet endearing personality drew you in, despite the darkness that surrounded him. But, unbeknownst to you, he had already fallen for you.
Yuta was enthralled, captivated—enchanted even—by all the kindness you showed him from the very moment he laid eyes on you. The way you would act like he was just an average person, regardless of the circumstances. He loved you for who you were, and you were the same.

Kokichi, similar to Noritoshi in the sense that they're analytical and kinda tsun, but that's mostly it. This is another Megumi and Noritoshi situation where, on the surface, they appear to be very similar, but you squint and realize they're extremely different.
Whereas Noritoshi isn't as bold because he still holds remnants of pride, Kokichi is just shy about it since it's so new. He won't back down from it, just hesitate.
[Long ass rambles under the cut! + bonus doodles.]
Tumblr media
When referring to shyness, Kokichi leans into the awkward and stiff type. There's always confusion and slight fear in his eyes when he's experiencing something new or romantic. He doesn't want to mess up, but if he does, he just hopes it works in his favor.
Being born in a body where he was under constant pain and stress, someone touching him was the last thing he wanted. He'd never known the loving touch of another because the heavens decided he wasn't allowed to.
After meeting you, that yearning to be next to you became too much. To hell with his restrictions. He'd to do whatever it takes to be able to be with you even if he had to sacrifice others to do it.
In retrospect, he feels like he should've done it sooner. Being touched or even grazed doesn't feel like his skin is falling off anymore.. Plus having both arms and working legs is always a good thing. It's new and odd, but not terrible. His mind never once wandered back and regretted those he's thrown under the bus because why would it?
Unfortunately, when his body was being healed, Mahito made him healthy.. and that's all. Knowing Mahito, he'd leave Kokichi to struggle with catching up to the rest of his peers by working for his own stamina, weight, and strength from square one. Though Kokichi isn't complaining much about it. He'd still take this rather than being stuck in that god forsaken tub for a second longer.
He used to hate being fussed over because of his illness. He prefers to do things on his own and now he can. Yet, Kokichi still gets pitiful looks on other's faces when he's too weak to carry something. It makes him want to spit at them, he can use Mechamaru to do his heavy lifting for now. He doesn't need a beefed up body to do it.
Unless you're the "beefed up" one fussing over him.. He doesn't mind it when it's you. In fact, Kokichi feels grateful when it's you, endeared even. He never feels belittled or pitiful when its you.. Only you.
Judging by how he treated panda for having the ability to interact with others in person despite being a cursed corpse, Kokichi has a number of insults and creative verbal abuse he's ready to spew out once someone tries getting a little too close to you. Scratch that, he's rude in general to those he isn't familiar with.
Kokichi has a lot of anger for those he deems ungrateful. What do you expect from someone who thought he was gonna rot in a bathtub for the rest of his life to do? Not harbor resentment? Luckily, he holds just as much, if not more, love for you who he's unbelievably grateful for!
Your affection is so odd to him, a new experience that he never knew he could grow to yearn for. It's not terrible, quite the opposite. It's so wonderful he can't get enough. Every time you're around, he wants to have at least one hand on you at all times. Doesn't matter where, just as long as he feels you're around. Safe to say, he's extremely touch starved.
Oh how Kokichi would drop everything for a walk with you. He'd use every Mechamaru he had just to make sure no one disturbs either of you. Murder is just a side effect if they get too persistent. He just wants to spend time with you!
Though he likes walks, he still gets out of breath easily. Walking is nice, but he still needs time to get used to it. Offering to help will only cause him to lean against you, it's not too difficult, he doesn't weigh much for better or worse. He loves when you lend him a hand, it's just another reason to get close to you.
When you part, it's only natural that Kokichi gifts you a little trinket he made. Rejecting it will only reward you with the most devastated frown, so just accept it. If you get rid of it when coming home, it somehow always finds its way back to you? Destroying it will lead to Kokichi giving you another one.
Yes, it follows and watches you, but it's just to keep you safe! Who knows what could happen. Whether or not the little trinkets are subtle, all depends on how you reacted to him asking if it was alright to know your location at all times when he's not around. Kokichi is understanding if you're not okay with it. He'll just make his gifts extra subtle so you wont know he's watching.
He just wants to be by your side constantly, even if he's not able to be there in person. Watching you through a screen gives him a sickly familiar feeling in the pit of his stomach, but it's better than not knowing what you're doing. He can even pick up little things about you this way for when he sees you next time! This is nothing but a win-win in his mind even if others beg to differ.
Kokichi never felt blessed. Not once since the day he was born, not until he found you. You who he feels is truly a gift from the heavens. You who he would give up everything to have. In a way, Kokichi is delusional. He sees you as the reason he got a heavenly restriction. It was as if other worldly forces tried to keep him at bay from pursuing you, but you're also the reason he broke his restrictions. He now has the body he wished for thanks to you, his drive, his motivation, his purpose, his love.
[extra shit]
Kokichi’s so fucking low key about being a chuunibyou. you're telling me he named his mech after an anime he watched. half his attacks have ultimate or ultra in the name.. HE MADE A FUCKING MECH. Your ass can't tell me he didn't watch anime while growing up and got inspired to make it a reality. He probably watched Evangelion or something.. Woah, anime dates with him where he makes your favorite creature and uses it to his advantage.. woah.
[Bonus Kokichi verbal abuse]

How about gojo when he doesn't realize you're trying to have a serious conversation untill u start crying
"Oh c'mon, you just need something sweet", Gojo purrs and smacks your back in a miserable attempt to cheer you up.
"I feel like I can't do anything right..."
"You're good in looking good I'd say", he jokes around.
You feel horrible. The things you saw today, your mistake almost leading to Megumi's death. Why? Why weren't you fast enough? If Shoko isn't able to stitch him up, if he's left with disabilities or injuries...
All of that, just because you're weak.
"He could have died today...", you mumble, throat getting tight.
"I mean, Shoko spent the whole evening stitching Megs up. Damn, I really need to give her a call now that I think of it..."
You hold your breath, desperately try to stop yourself from crying while Satoru continues to ponder about the nasty things that happened today - because of you.
Of course you are very aware of the fact that you aren't as strong as he is. Depite being a teacher yourself, all of the first year students will surpass your level of skill sooner or later. But still, you are their teacher, it's your responsibility to look out for them, to protect them. And you failed miserably.
"Did you see that hole in his head-"
"I know that I fucked up, okay?", you bark at him so suddenly that Gojo flinches back.
Fuck, now you hate yourself even more. Your eyes start to burn underneath the heavy weight of your guilt, flashbacks of Megumi's lifeless body hunting you down.
"Hey, are you cryin'?"
Out of instinct you jump out of your seat. No, there is no way in hell you'll cry like a baby in front of him, you'll get out of here and ignore him until he eventually forgets about your crucial mistakes.
"Don't run away from me."
Gently, he grabs your shoulder and stops you from opening the door.
"I didn't know you take this so seriously, (y/n). I'm really sorry-"
"Because it is, Satoru! Megumi almost died because of me. I'm his teacher, it's my job to protect him and I failed miserably, I'm a-"
"Stop. Look at me."
He cups your face with his hands, forces you to meet his soft gaze.
"None of this is your fault, okay? You did a great job down there, caring for every single one of them. Yeah, Megumi got hit, but he would be dead if it wasn't for you. Don't be so hard on yourself."
"Easy to say when you're the strongest", you mutter, earning a heartfelt laugh from him.
"Only because of your support, sweet cheeks."

Can you do another platonic yandere gojo where the reader attempts to escape gojo and actually ends up escaping him succesfully meanwhile gojo is going feral to it find the reader ?
.... bro do you want the Reader to be locked up for the rest of their life?. I lost my banner files for gojo so here have Icons I use for notion
Warnings: unhinged Gojo, escaping, captivity, abuse, Megumi is like: you know what? I'm out, Reader runs away (+succeeds!) and author has no will to live :3. My English isn't the best here, I've been trying to speak Indonesian all day (spoiler I cannot)

Reader had escaped Gojo, much to Megumi's surprise. When Gojo had texted him, they expected to find them within seconds. But they didn't.
Reader was stronger then they realized, sure their own powers seemed to overstimulate them at times.
Gojo was honestly losing his shits, he called up his students and he called the police to report her as 'stolen' (no way in hell is he admitting he lost them) so they won't be able to stay hidden for long.
But the fact that she was even able to escape but him deep, not just in his pride but in his heart as well. "Wasn't I accomodating?!" Gojo couldn't help but shout as Megumi called about another dead end. "I even let their legs heal while they were being such a fucking brat!"
"gojo-sensei...." Megumi started, he had to stop his teacher from going into a rant. "You know how much Reader hates the purge and yanderes that take their darlings without even attempting to win them over in real life..."
"and that shows how fucking naive and childish she is!" Gojo interrupted Megumi, he was hysterical and he just couldn't believe that his weak baby was evading them so easily. Even sukuna couldn't help Yuji track them down. "God fucking damnit, they want me to be such a fucking villain?!"
Megumi was on the other line of the phone, and by the gods was he glad he didn't deliver this news in person. Gojo was nearing a rage that no one could stop and he prayed for Readers sanity and safety. "Gojo-sensei please calm down..."
"no! They want me to be the fucking bad guy," gojo hissed. "I'll fucking will Be, I'll lock them up in their room until I'm sure they are a good child. And no one, not even you and the others will be allowed to be with her until she sees at least some signs of improvement!" He rambled on. "And if that doesn't work, I'll starve them from social interactions and love to the point they'll beg for affection!"
Megumis blood ran cold. "I'm sorry, what?" While he was a yandere himself he could never do such cruel things to his own darling, hell if he did that to them he would rather be killed off by a minor curse then care for them ever again. "Gojo-sensei, I have to get ready for a mission now," he said in a cold tone. "The police will find them."
When Megumi ended the call, more texts of Yuji, other students and Nanami flooded Gojos phone. Reader hadn't been found.
Gojo was going to destroy the world if it meant finding his baby.
Also thank you guys so much for 1102 followers, I know I haven't been writing much lately but I appreciate all of you and I'll try to be more active whenever I can write<3333

lol why am I crying before work reading how satorou proposes… THANKS 😪
Now we gotta know how the honeymoon goes. I feel like it would be equal part shenanigans and romantic.
honestly, no honeymoon :(
they’re both so busy and gojo can’t be away from jujutsu high for very long, plus you don’t want to leave the kids, and a bunch of other reasons that travel isn’t feasible at the moment.
but there’s definitely a week—or more like a month, let’s be honest—that is your “honeymoon” (as satoru says).
it starts the day after your wedding. megumi stayed overnight at school and tsumiki was at a friends house so it’s just the two of you.
and, without fail, you’re waking up to at least seven (7) bouquets of flowers all around your room and burnt breakfast.
satoru is bringing it into your room, smiling all the while, and you just blink at him.
how he managed to do all of this (burnt eggs, burnt rice, terribly brewed tea) without waking you up, you’re not sure.
“am i supposed to eat this?”
satoru pouts immediately. “i did all of this work, wife,” he tells you, handing you a mug and putting the tray down at the foot of the bed. “i shed blood, sweat, and tears for this.”
you grab his hand, inspecting it. it’s soft and without callouses because satoru knows no hard work. “did you cut yourself?”
“making eggs?” he retorts, dubiously.
“who knows with you.”
“i can cook, you know. my wife should know this.”
“should we call megumi and ask?”
satoru sits down, pinching your cheeks. “no. i am enjoying only being tormented by one person.”
“weak,” you fake cough out, and he pulls your hair in retaliation.
but then he smooths your bed head, moving you down to kiss your forehead. he leans back and grins at you, his eyes particularly bright. he hasn’t bothered to put on a blindfold, or glasses, or any clothes besides his underwear. “we’re married, you know?” he murmurs, like it’s a secret.
“are we?” you tilt your head and grin back. “i didn’t realize.”
satoru reaches beneath the covers to grab your hand, inspecting it. “yup. there’s the ring.”
you grab his hand too, squinting. “look, you have one.”
“mines prettier than yours,” he tells you, intertwining your hands easily. it fits, feels almost right.
you scoff, leaning your forehead against his. “you’re just insulting yourself.”
“blame megumi.”
you laugh and kiss his cheek, and then his jaw, and then his eyelids. satoru allows this, his face twitching.
“are you going to call me your husband now?”
“i’ve been doing that.”
“publicly?”
you giggle, still kissing down his neck. “i think im legally obligated now.”
“yup.”
at that point, breakfast is forgotten, for some very… strange reason.

you can't fall asleep (sukuna x reader one shot)
pairing: sukuna x reader
warnings: none, just so much fluff! and soft sukuna, maybe? he's just not the typical angry and super duper evil dude in this one.
word count: 1,512
GOJO VERSION OF THIS ONE SHOT HERE!
NANAMI VERSION OF THIS ONE SHOT HERE!
Tumblr media
It was game night.
It's the one night of the week when you, Yuuji, Megumi, and Nobara gather in the living room for an endless evening of video games. The PS5 was a present given to the four of you from your ever-loving, mostly annoying sensei Gojo Satoru last Christmas. Since then, it was tradition for the four of you to spend an evening together, with pizza and burgers and a shameless amount of slander against each other.
But tonight was different.
You won't be able to join them because you're sick. Headaches. Nausea. Dry coughs and the flu. It was all because of the most recent mission you've been on alone, and it already took its toll on you. Your three friends insisted on moving game night to a different date, but you didn't want them to postpone further. You've been sick for three days already, and for three nights, they adjusted for you. Tomorrow was the start of a new week, meaning you could likely end your streak of having weekly game nights. And you didn't want that.
"Guys, it's just one night. I won't die if I miss one." You told them with a shaky laugh, the cough in your lungs threatening to bark its way out your throat with every huff of your breath.
"y/n," Yuuji started as he walked over to your weak body on your bed, patting your shoulder gently. He had the most serious, determined look on his face. "I'll win this for you."
You smiled at how adorable he was and decided to play along. "Thank you, Yuuji. You're my hero."
The evening stretched on, and as you stayed on your bed, your friends yelled over each other in triumph and defeat, followed by loud laughs that would jerk you awake. Your head pounded at the loud sounds coming from the living room. Despite the closed door, you could still clearly make out their voices and their stomping across the wooden floor.
It only made your head hurt more.
But you didn't have the heart to get out of bed and ask them to be a little quieter. It's been a long week for everyone, not only for you. Megumi and Yuuji completed a mission before you, and Nobara was sent to accompany Toge after your expedition. It was a busy week for all of you, and game night was a way of easing everyone from their exhaustion.
"Megumi you prick!" Nobara shrieked, and your head pounded at the high-pitched tone. "I'm going to fucking kill you on the next round!"
You sighed to yourself, massaging your temples while your other hand struggled to pull your blanket closer to your chest. It was freezing. Your socks and the thick covers didn't help your case at all.
"That's how a game works, you loser!" Megumi shot back just as loudly. Then thuds. You could picture the two of them on the floor strangling each other.
Oh how you love them so much.
"Shut up, you brats!"
Your heart stopped. Silence followed after the sudden and unexpected outburst.
Despite your current state, it didn't take long for you to recognize Sukuna's voice coming from Yuuji's body. He seemed to have taken over while the other two were arguing.
Considering the abrupt silence, Megumi and Nobara must have also been shocked. The only sound that could be heard was the background music that still played on the screen.
"Not even an ounce of consideration for your poor comrade. Even an old man and a newborn baby would startle awake by your gaudiness!"
Your heart hammered against your chest when you realized that Sukuna was talking about you. Then, footsteps padded across the floor before your door was opened, and you froze in your place, closing your eyes and hoping that your breathing didn't sound too erratic.
"Just cut the act. I know you're awake." Sukuna mumbled next to you and you slightly flinched, surprised that he was immediately by your side. He turned your night lamp on, illuminating the darkness of the room.
You realized there was no point in even pretending. You sighed, opening your eyes and coming face to face with the King of Curses himself, his red eyes staring down at you and his lips curled in a slight smirk.
"What do you want." You croaked out. Your throat was already dry.
"Here to help you," He replied nonchalantly as if it was the most normal thing to do. "It was about time that brat brought me out. Couldn't even think about helping or at least leaving you a glass of water."
As if on cue, he places a tall glass of water on your bedside table before gesturing for you to sit up. "Have a drink. I brought some painkillers."
You slowly sat up, leaned your back against the headboard and took a pill before popping it in your mouth. Sukuna then handed you the glass, and you were quick to gulp everything down in seconds. The liquid felt satisfying running down your dry throat.
"Thanks." You sighed. You then nodded at the door. "You can let Yuuji out now. I'm sure he wants to play more. You've done enough."
You didn't mean to sound like a jerk. Technically, you were still confused about where you stood with your—friendship? Relationship?—with Sukuna, after Yuuji has been teasing you that Sukuna wouldn't stop talking about you in his head when you first encountered him. He would find ways to take over Yuuji's body, even resorting to bribery and negotiation just to get himself out. He wouldn't admit it himself, but he's been so taken by you that he always craved your presence.
"The brat and I made a deal. He won't let me out for a week starting tomorrow if I could have an evening with you."
Your stomach fluttered. You tried to shrug it off as the occasional nausea that you felt, but deep down, you knew that you had a soft spot for the King of Curses as well.
"I—" You tried to say something after a moment's silence, but Sukuna was already up and going over to the other side of the bed. You could only stare up at him, dumbfounded.
"Move over a little, yeah?" He muttered quietly, and you found yourself obliging. You could only watch as he made himself comfortable next to you, the black markings on his face and shoulders more prominent underneath the light of your lamp. The tight black shirt that Yuuji wore emphasized the muscles on his arms and chest and you could feel the heat slowly creeping up to your neck. You were subconsciously imagining what it would be like if Sukuna had a body of his own.
It would be chaos for everyone.
For you.
"Come on now, don't be shy." Sukuna teased with an amused smile as he stretched one arm over your head, urging you to get closer to him. But you could only stare at him, still processing everything, asking yourself whether or not you had fallen asleep and were already dreaming.
He sighed in defeat before letting his arm wrap around your shoulder and pulling you closer to his body. He then took your arm and let it rest across his stomach, guiding your head to rest on his chest.
"Better?" He whispered. In fact, it was better. The warmth radiating off his body helped alleviate the coldness you felt, and he also took the liberty of pulling the covers above the two of you.
You felt rigid against him and you knew that he thought it as well.
"Come on, you little brat," He sighed, but he sounded fond and soft, unlike his usual, annoyed tone. "Relax yourself. I'm not going to bite you. Unless you want me to, of course..."
He received a weak slap across his stomach and laughed lightly, taking advantage of hugging you closer to him. He let his longer legs intertwine with yours, exuding warmth down your feet and ankles. His hand then reached up to run his fingers through your hair, softly massaging your scalp while his other hand held onto your arm and kept you from pulling away from him.
You've never felt so relaxed tonight. Everything felt so much better, warmer, cozier...
You were finally dozing off, happy that your body found the comfort and peace it sought hours ago. You couldn't even bring yourself to feel so reserved around Sukuna anymore, and you found yourself nuzzling closer to him, rubbing your cheek against his chest.
"Thank you," You mumbled sleepily, your hand sliding underneath his shirt and feeling the warmth of his stomach on your trembling palm. He just exudes so. Much. Warmth.
You felt his lips on your forehead, keeping it there for a long time. His hand rested above yours, just outside the cloth of his shirt.
"Sleep, my darling." He whispered against your skin. "Recover. I'll keep a look out for you tonight."
It was safe to say that you didn't want the evening to end.

part thirty - 24 hours too late (wc : 1.4k ; cw : blood)
sitting on megumi’s bed, his arms are wrapped protectively around your shoulders, your head is resting in the crook of his neck, finding comfort in his scent as he rubs slow, soothing circles on your back. the tears have stopped, replaced by an aching numbness, the only sound in the room is your occasional sniffle.
you wipe your cheek, your voice is a little hoarse and you mumble “i’m sorry… i think your shirt's soaked in tears.”
his hold tightens as he whispers “it’s okay, i don’t mind.”
there’s a beat of silence before he speaks again, “do you want some water?”
you hum in affirmation, your throat sore. “please.”
reluctantly, he untangles himself from you and stands up to get you a glass. he heads toward the kitchen, once he’s out of your sight he exhales deeply, as if he’d been holding his breath since you came home.
your mind drifts, you can’t help but wonder if things somehow got worse since you last checked social media, you look around for your phone but it’s nowhere to be found, so you settle for megumi’s.
weird.
he got a text from kugi a few hours ago. ‘if you don’t tell her today, i will’
tell what? to whom?
you hesitate for a moment before curiosity overcomes you, you unlock his phone to read through his texts with her.
your pulse quickens, a knot forming in your throat. the words seem to blur together, your hands trembling as you piece together the truth. your eyes widen as the realization crashes over you.
it can’t be real.
as you stare, dumbfounded, at the screen, megumi walks through the door “here you-”
“what did you do” your voice is cold, your eyes are piercing through him.
he feels his heart drop, the words are hard to get out “w-what are you talking about?”
“don’t. i saw the texts.” you spit the words out, your tone cutting through the air like a knife.
he shakily puts down the glass on his desk, taking a deep breath before speaking. “i didn’t think- i’m so sorry…”
“you’re sorry??” you get up from the bed, you don’t mean to but you’re already raising your voice. “well, as long as you’re sorry… who cares that the entire world thinks i’m a slut, right?”
his lips tighten into a thin line. “let’s talk about it tomorrow, you’re tired and obviously hungover and- and we’ll both think more clearly after some sleep…” he reaches out, attempting to walk you to your room but you stand your ground.
“no, let’s talk now.” your voice is firm, you cross your arms, waiting for him to speak.
he runs a hand through his hair, trying to find the right words, if there exists any that’ll excuse what he did. he sits down on the bed. “i’m so sorry, i don’t know what crossed my mind. i- i saw you and gojo and i got so angry? it’s blurry i can’t remember clearly, before i knew it, it was done.” as he finishes speaking, he looks up at you, hoping to see you face soften, looking for a hint of understanding in your expression.
“so… it just happened? that’s your explantation? you got mad and now my life is ruined?” he doesn’t respond, his silence a clear admission of guilt and as you speak again your voice cracks “why megumi?”
he sighs, his head in his hands, “fuck.”
that’s not how he thought he would tell you, not how he wanted to tell you. you deserve better than this. when he looks up at you, his are eyes are glistening, tears on the verge of falling. “i- i love you. i’ve loved you for as long as i’ve known you, i’m sure. these past few years, seeing you run around with guys like sukuna, like gojo, who treat you like you’re worth nothing, it drove me crazy.”
your jaw falls slack, it’s everything you’ve wanted to hear, 24 hours too late. you choose to ignore the part where he basically calls you a whore, for now.
“you could’ve just told me.” in a moment of weakness, you cup his cheek, your touch gentle despite the anger boiling under your skin. a few tears fall from his lashes.
“i’m so sorry, please believe me. if i could undo it, i would” he takes a deep breath, his voice breaking. “i tried telling you but you were never available.”
as if you got burned, you pull your hand back. “is that how you see me? not ‘available’? am i an object to you?”
as he wipes his tears, frustration creeps into his tone and he rolls his eyes. “you know that’s not what i meant. and don’t act like you’re so pure.”
“what?” your fists clench at your sides, you want to punch him. you’re pretty sure you’re going to if he doesn’t stop talking.
“look at yourself y/n, your neck is covered in hickeys, you look like a fucking teenager. with gojo? of all people?”
“you wanna talk about my sex life, let’s talk about it.” you’re pacing now, the adrenaline coursing through you makes it hard to contain your rage. “yeah we had sex. cause he has the balls to tell me he likes me.” you pause, your breath coming in sharp, angry gasps. “and you know what? it wasn’t the first time!” you’re looking down on him as you continue, “what are you going to do? tweet it??”
he scoffs, “you’ll really sleep with anyone who gives you the slightest bit of attention. first sukuna, then gojo… are you that insecure? or are you just that easy?” his voice is a harsh, accusatory whisper.
he stands up, pointing his finger at you, his eyes burning with a mix of anger and hurt “who’s next huh? geto? yuta?”
“anyone except you right?” your voice trembles, your eyes are filling with unshed tears yet you can’t help but laugh bitterly. “do you hear yourself right now megumi? and i’m the insecure one?” you push against his chest, hands shaking. his jaw tightens, a muscle twitching in his cheek as he glares down at you.
“you’re so self centered, and such a fucking coward.” the words spill out before you can stop them, before you can think about what you’re actually saying, each one a dagger aimed at his heart. “do you know who you remind me of?” your voice drops to a whisper, laced with venom, you tilt your head up towards his, knowing you’re crossing a line but too blinded by your hurt to care. “you hate him so much but you’re acting just like your father.”
his jaw drops and you can see the pain flash in his eyes. it hits him like a punch to the gut.
deciding you’ve had enough. you turn on your heel to leave, but megumi grabs onto your wrist, his grip desperate despite how hurt he feels. “please, don’t-”
“let me go.” you hiss through gritted teeth, struggling to free yourself, you stumble backward, colliding with his desk chair, knocking it over with a loud crash.
the sudden noise startles you both, making him loosen his grip enough for you to get out of his grasp. the glass he brought earlier drops off the desk and shatters on the ground, shards scattering across the floor. you run off without looking back.
he stands frozen in shock of what just happened. the sound of a door slamming somewhere down the hall brings him back out of his daze. he knows you need time. he knows he’s wrong, knows that he’ll have to find a way to make amends. he’ll never forgive himself if he doesn’t.
too preoccupied by his thoughts, he reaches down to pick up the pieces of the shattered glass, he doesn’t notice the sharp edge until it slices into his palm, “fuck-” he mutters, wincing at the pain as he wraps a shirt around his hand to stop the flow of the blood.
on his way to the bathroom, he walks past your bedroom door, it’s slightly ajar, the crack revealing the emptiness inside. he hesitates, then pushes it open with his uninjured hand.
“y/n?”
the silence is deafening, the drawers are open, half empty, a few lonely hangers lay on the ground. you’re gone, and so is most of your stuff.
he stands there, staring at the mess he made as the blood-soaked shirt drips onto the floor boards below. he swallows thickly, feeling the weight of his mistakes crushing down on him.
[tl:dr : you discover megumi betrayed you, you argue, he confesses his feelings but you're too hurt so you run away.]

fun facts :
blowing smoke by gracie abrams is pretty close to how megumi’s feeling about y/n and gojo
toji was absent in megumi’s life until he died when megumi was in his early teens, toji was an addict and neglected him for most of his life. megumi resents him a lot for it.
