The Pale Horse by Agatha Christie Originally published by Collins Crime Club on November 6, 1961. Genres:  Mystery, Crime, Fiction, Classic, Detective, Thriller, British, Adult. “Wickedness...such wickedness....”  The dying woman turned to Father Gorman with agony in her eyes.  “Stopped.  It must be stopped.  You will....” The priest spake with reassuring authority.  “I will do what is necessary.  You can trust me.” Father Gorman tucked the list of the names she gave him into his shoe.  It was a meaningless list:  the names were of people with nothing in common. On his way home, Father Gorman was murdered.  But the police found the list + when Mark Easterbrook came to inquire into the circumstances of the people listed, he began to discover a connection betwixt them, along with an ominous pattern.... Every name listed was either dead or, he suspected, marked for murder.

I took my vitamins. Drank 10 glasses of water. Stretching myself out right now. I'm thinking of making some ramen with Better Than Bouillon beef seasoning and some shredded cheese through the broth for dinner, with some Jell-O Cheesecake pudding topped with bits of actual peach and blackberry for desert. Once Friday comes by, I'm considering cooking scratch meals and posting the process on social media, see how this adventure goes while the pandemic is on.

If y'all feel like the world has gone shitty, just read this post from a Nintendo-themed Facebook group printed on a black shirt. You'll have the biggest laugh ever, at least for a while.

I would want to do some savagery on Facebook on my mom's account, but what would that even do, now that over a year has passed? For me, it's better to start over with what I have left, and move on, than to ruin my future good graces as a wife to a punk rocker and a mother to his natural clone, who will make his debut in a week and 3 days from now (yes, I am 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant).

2022 Diary Entry No. 6

I went to the store + bought some groceries, along with bread, courtesy of the Cheesecake Factory. Then I went to the 7 + bought some more gum, a bag of Flamin' Hot Cool Ranch chips, and more 0 Sugar Starlight Coca-Cola, which tastes like cherry/dark chocolate/marshmallow. I cleaned house already, with a few exceptions, which will be done tonight, before I go to bed. The lastest dose of Snapped is just callously cold-blooded as it gets. Women are just as cold as men. That's on periodt. [high-pitched giggles] Anyway, after I watch this, I want to play in my boyfriend's PSN account, because I need to grab all the gear he missed. boy, is he going to be surprised when he logs in. Mom is talking to her friend, Gregory, who just told her a joke to pass on to Grandma. What fun is her ass is going to have. Dear Lordt. I went to the Kytinn Hive at the Krypt...and I am about to give my fear of spiders a fond farewell....very soon. Watching Perry Mason tonight, since there ain't shit on the TV. The TV speakers sound like they're blown the fuck out. And, honestly, I hate that shit.

I'm turning the big 3-0 this year. I am fucking nervous but excited + chill at the same time. I hope the decade I'm entering won't be fucking scary....

I bought The Sandman: Act II on Audible, since my membership got paid for yesterday. I'm downloading both Acts to my SD card, as I'm smoking this Turkish Blend cigarette. I can't wait to listen to both of them as I finish cleaning house, should sleep escape once again. It's going to be a long night, I betcha.
