Another thing I really have to give TF One credit for is the sheer amount of violence they got away with by virtue of all their characters being robots. Like, where else could our deuteragonist-turned-final-boss literally rip the villain in half on-screen and walk away with a PG rating?
#not to mention like. everything else#bee cutting people in half#d16 choking out starscream#sentinel carving the brand onto d's chest#megatron shooting *through* orion#this is not to say this is *bad* of course I love robogore as much as anyone but damn. *damn*#tf#tfone#transformers#transformers one#maccadam

OMG I LOVED YOU ORION PAX FIC (this bot needs more love) can you do an Orion pax x reader, but it’s the reader’s reaction to Orion falling in that hole thingy? (yk at the end of the movie that D-16 dropped him in) like does
1. the reader goes crazy and bets up D-16 ?
2. jumps in after him?
3. cries and says "HE WAS MY FUTURE"
I need to knowwwww (also take some food bc i know you cooking with your fics 🍎🥐🥯🍔🍗🍟🌯🌮) TYY
Pairing: Orion Pax/Optimus Prime x gn!Reader Rating: SFW Summary: What happens when a bot witnesses their conjunx endura die in front of their eyes? Warnings/Tags: Transformers One SPOILERS, guard!reader, cybertronian reader, mild descriptions of violence. Word Count: 1300+ words
The first time you met Orion Pax was a blurry moment of rushing figures and yelling. This red and blue bot had a reputation, but you didn't know his designation at the time where you first started your job as a guard.
Well, you certainly knew all about him, especially after your first run in with the troublemaker making his grand exit through a balcony. Of course, you just had to be making your rounds flying around the perimeter of the building when you were tackled out of the sky and pinned against the rooftop of the neighboring building. Groaning as the mech on top of you sputtered a flurry of apologies. The mech ran away without even offering a servo to help you up.
The second time the two of you met, you learned his designation from the gossip about a miner always sneaking in and out of government buildings which held old records. You connected the name to the face of the mech you ran into again when patrolling indoors.
It was…a unique exchange of pleasantries as Orion Pax attempted to sway you out of sounding the alarm. His attempts at distracting you with those flirty glances and sweet words did nothing to stop you from cuffing him and bringing him back to his station.
Over the deca-cycle, the interactions between you two grew warmer as the forced proximity bred an intimacy between you two.
A conjunx ritus later and the two of you were an odd couple in the optics of Iacon.
All because you managed to 'catch' the mech of who stole your spark.
So why couldn't you save your conjunx when he needed you the most?
It all happened too fast for your mind to react in time, but your frame moved before you could even scream the name out of your conjunx as his battered form dropped into the pit. You rushed forward, cables feeling like they were on fire as you reached a servo out in hopes of grabbing hold of something. Yet, you were too late and Orion was swallowed by the abyss right as something grasped your arms and yanked you away from the edge.
You struggled to throw them off of you, blurred edges of your vision and the muffled shouts of your name didn't stop you from trying to fly down there—it didn't matter whether or not your spark would extinguish in the process. All that mattered was finding Orion Pax, your best friend, your companion, your everything.
A voice heavy with grief managed to snap you out of your haze. You glanced over to meet Elita's optics, her face twisted with a pitying look that nearly sent you over the edge–metaphorically and literally.
"The age of primes has ended....no more false prophets, follow me and you will never again be deceived!"
Cheers broke out from the high guards scattered within the shocked crowd of Iacon's citizens.
"I will lead us all into the future!" Megatron opened his chassis and replaced the cog in his chest with Megatronus's cog. Purple electrical sparks emitted from his frame as his body transformed into a bulkier form.
"I…am…MEGATRON!"
"Burn it down…all of it!"
Shots fired from the crowd as Megatron began shooting at the Sentinel statue and the structures surrounding it.
"He's going to kill everyone."
"We have to stop him-" Elita-1 was cut off as your form rushed past her and headed for the silver mech. Bee and Elita-1 glanced at each other before nodding and hastening after you.
As Megatron continued shooting his cannon, a pede slammed into the side of his helm knocking him onto his knees. Megatron whipped around to find your fist heading toward his faceplate, he dodged and managed to grab your wrist in time to swing you around like a rag doll.
Despite having a cog all this time, your frame was still shorter compared to Megatron's—but that didn't make you any less of a fighter.
"You took him away from me! Your own best friend!" You bellowed and wrapped your legs around his arm to twist out of his grip. You swung your body weight to shift behind him and pummel him in punches.
"He was your friend! My conjunx…my future….mine!" You grunted as Megatron ripped you off and threw you away. You rolled onto your servos and knees before jumping aside before the energy blast could hit you. The weight of losing Orion hit you all at once as you realized you had just rolled near the place where D-16…Megatron had dropped him. Your optics dimmed as your vision blurred from the rising dust and smoke. Your helm dropped and you couldn't see the massive cannon pointing at your pathetic form.
"I took down the only thing standing in my way," Megatron sneered. The purr of his weapon charging up became a roar as the light within readied to snuff your spark. "And now? I will make sure you join him along with the rest who stand against me."
"Not if we have anything to do about that!" Elita-1 charged in and snatched the cannon in time to redirect the shot elsewhere.
A fight ensued and a multitude of thoughts ran through your processor. Your distraught and grief melded your frame into the floor. The noises and smell of destruction around you all blurred into one as you curled into a ball, wishing to disappear into the same abyss your conjunx had dropped in.
After all, why continue this seemingly never ending cycle of injustice without the bot who made life worth living?
No, Orion wouldn't have wanted you to think that way. Nor would have sat there wallowing in his own misery if your spark had stopped beating. He would've fought for you and you…will do the same.
Slamming your clenched servos into the ground you shot up and barreled toward the fight. Snarling as you drew closer and pounced onto Megatron just as he kicked Bee away. Before anyone on the tower could react, something exploded a piece of it and shot up into the sky.
Amidst the chaos, you, Bee, and Elita-1 slid off the dome and landed on the lower platform again.
Snapping your gaze up you found an familiar yet strange mech donning a similar color scheme to Orion standing before Megatron.
"It can't be…" Bee began.
"It is." Elita-1 finished with wide optics.
"Orion?" You whispered.
He was alive. Alive.
He was…different.
…he wasn't dead and that's the important part.
When all was said and done, Megatron was banished from Iacon and Energon returned to Cybertron, cogs being returned to the cogless citizens, you were finally able to have a moment alone with your conjunx now named Optimus Prime.
His optics shone brightly as they landed on your faceplate. He turned to you fully and stretched his arm to reach you. You eagerly leaned into the palm of his servo, cheek pressing against the warmth of his hold on you. The faint hum of his spark calmed the raging storm within you, allowing your tense cables to ease up.
"You've…changed." You sighed as you blinked back the liquid in your optics.
"...so have you," Optimus craned his helm down to hold your gaze. "Come, we have a lot of things to discuss."
You interlocked your digits with his, reluctant to drift away from him, but his softening gaze and even softer words persuaded you to let go.
Trailing after the three but sticking close to Optimus's side, you nearly tripped over your own pedes as you felt the weight of his love through the bond. Keeping your expression neutral, you smiled inwardly and returned his affections tenfold.
Primus, you were happy he was alive.

What if a human shows up in transformers one
Part 3 possibly????
Like, with sentil prime, how orian paks will act with them after being optimus prime, and how D-16 would after becoming megatron.
hold on to your heats as it will be a long ride!
What if a human showed up in transformers one.
part 3.1
Sentinel Prime
Sentinel would of course bring his little pet to the Iacon 5000. the lights flashed the little human blind and you had to hold on tight as he swooned down to his cheering "people", basking in glory. He started the race and was proud of him self and seeing how much attention he gets from your little presents. He put on his winning smile and showed his affection towards you, getting even more attention. You of course knew to behave and not make an scene or you will be punished. Though soon the spotlight was taken by two miners. He was quite upset but seeing the reaction it got, decided to let it run and see how it ends. It was quite dramatic with how this two bot supported each other, though in the end they still ended up in med-bay. He decided to visit them and after talking with them retuned to his castle. And only then he noticed that you were surprisingly quite. turning around, expecting to see you running behind, he saw nothing. he looked up at arachnid who turned aorund and shrugged. He was quite upset but also surprised that YOU managed to escape Arachnids site. Must've ran away in med bay. not wanting to much of attention to this "mess", he ordered Darkwing to find them. though he had no need as soon you were brought back along with D-16 and High Guard. He laugh out loud. You saw someone act out of line and decided to take your chance and run? And after how he pampered you, fed and kept you safe? He did not held back in front of prisoners, squeezing your body till your bones started cracking loudly and your screams becoming whizzes. he kept on going until he heard a loud pop and you simply slumped over. so he tossed you aside like a broken toy.
Optimus Prime
Orion did not had any intention on dragging you in to race, you just clung on to him so he had to improvise, keeping you safe while helping D-16 through the race, managing to let you slip in to one of the vents and in to safety, away from dangerous chase. by the end of it he was happy to see you alright, holding his hand down to let you climb and inspect him and D-16 with your little hands, which clamed D-16 a bit and helped Orion to not get any more earful. after small check up you climbed own and just waited as Ratchet knew about you very well, along with other medical stuff and they all agreed to not harm you. Same, how ever, could not be said about Arachnid. Orion had to grab you and hold to his chest before she could even hurt you. So seeing this you were deemed as no threat and Sentinel walked in. let's say he did not expected to meet a new type of fan today. He even ALLOWED you to climb on his hand. Though he had to leave and "gently" tossed you back to Orion with empty promises of better life. you were kind of forced to joing D-16 and Orion as they were tossed in to one of the lowest levels and met B-127. his first impression scared the shit out of you and you screamed, clinging on to Orion while he was scared too. Though after confusion was cleared you allowed yellow bot to pet your head. after beheading "Steve" and finding map you were told it will be best if you stayed back and waited for their return. So you did, hiding in miners room, time to time getting pets and some food from other miners, trying your best to avoid Darkwing, patiently waiting for Orion and D-16 safely return.
Once you herd that some bots were brought from surface, you snuck out and witnessed train hitting the tower and D-16 shooting Pax by accident. You cried out as he dropped Pax and then dealt with Prime, claiming a new name. You had to hide as more destruction happened, hiding until it was all calm, yet still refusing to get out from below the piles of rubble, whimpering and crying out to Pax, knowing that he was dead. So when rubble begun lifting from your hiding spot, you cried harder, though a familiar touch and word reassured you. You opened your eyes and dug your little hands in to his chest, knowing well who was holding you. Yes, changed, new name, but still it was Pax. and you knew he will keep you safe. even if he had new, more important and grilling work, he still kept you safe and time to time would just have some time to relax and spend it with you, Elita and Bee. Though you missed D-16.

Tf one! Tf one! Tf one!
Gonna spoil everything please go watch the movie it’s the greatest transformers movie ever made go watch it I need a sequel please go watch it it is 100% worth it 10/10
Hey so like this movie is really fucking funny? Bumblebee is actually just insane and he’s so caring and I love him. He’s my cringy little boy who has never talked to anyone ever. He lives in the dumpster. Elita one is also funny. She’s so fucking done with dumbasses 1-3. Although the part where everyone was like ‘hey follow protocol’ when not following protocol means Jazz gets to live was a bit crazy. But it makes sense and Optimus going back for Jazz really just makes his chances of dying with him much higher. But it’s Jazz. We all love Jazz. No one wants to see Jazz get crushed. Look at him at the end of the movie he’s so happy to have his little wings he’s Jazzzzz.
If the high I felt from watching this movie is half of what people get from ecstasy then I totally get why people would do it. I don’t think I’ve ever felt that much joy in that little amount of time. I could not sit still. My chest actually hurt. It was amazing. I was able to recognize characters and I was just like ‘JAZZ! JAZZ! WAIT IS THAT RATCHET? PROWL? SIDESWIPE AND SUNSTREAKER????? YESSS! ARCEE!! SKYWARP! RARARARARARA’ and I understand that I am weird for this. But it was so much fun. And I was laughing and getting upset with the characters. And the animation is so good and cybertron is soooo pretty. I love the deer and although the quintsons are a minor part of this movie I think they’ll play a much bigger role in the sequel that’s hopefully coming. I want to see more of the characters. I want to see how Megatron will interact with the other decepticons. I want skywarp to get more lines (I’m 99% sure that he was the guy who said what’ when Optimus said ‘we roll out’). I want to see how the other autobots interact. I want to see Sunstreaker do literally anything. I want to see more of this story and more of this world.
D16 is great. I really like him and I like how pissed he is at Orion and how he snaps. Orion pushed him into a lot of situations he really didn’t want to be in and he’s done saving Orion. And like. He’s also not really wrong about killing Sentinel. Like killing is inherently inhumane, but if it is the only way to preserve life then it is justifiably inhumane. And realistically, what else would they have done with him? He clearly has some backing from a guard of some sorts and connections to the quintisons, so he could ruin everyone’s lives again. The way he died was extra and there’s definitely a better way to kill him (“morally” speaking. There’s not a humane way to kill a persons outside of extreme circumstances, but some ways are definitely worse than others). But his death was also so cool. Like I was expecting Megatron to just shoot him but holy shit that was brutal. Also this is me being a little silly goose but I don’t think that his eyes are literally changing colors. I think the story is being told mainly through Optimus’s perspective, and the eye color shifting is metaphorical. The yellow to orange is a lot more subtle than the orange to red. When his eye color changes it’s not just when he’s changing (which is definitely also apart of it I think) but specifically when Optimus realizes that the change has occurred. Yellow and Blue and Orange and Blue also complement each other. Red and Blue are a bit more jarring when put next to each other imo. Like it’s based on nothing but my own weird little mind. But anyways, I don’t think Optimus jumped in front of sentinel because he gave a shit about sentinel. I think he jumps in front of Megatron’s gun because he desperately needs to save his friend. But it’s too late and they are now both unrecognizable to each other. Suddenly getting power and being suppressed his entire life coupled with sentinel’s betrayal caused D16 to snap. His entire life was a lie and a person he looked up to turned out to be the biggest piece of shit on cybertron. Also a thing I found really interesting was that the high guard/future decepticons chanted D16’s name when he was beating the shit out of starscream whereas with Orion the miners/future autobots changed his name after he gave a speech and was literally kneeling to be on their level.
Sentinel prime was really fun. I predicted that he would be revealed as a traitor entirely because he’s Sentinel. But it was still fun to see it happen. Also he’s beautiful. This is the best he has ever looked. The colors look great next to each other and the wings go hard. He’s very one dimensional but he makes the other characters around him have more dimensions because he’s so simple. And he doesn’t need to be complex. Keep It Simple Stupid. The movie is less than two hours long, it doesn’t need to reinvent the wheel. It knows how to use the wheel and it uses it great. Sentinel is an asshole and I really like him. The version of him that I have in my head is very different but I like asshole sentinel. Tfa Sentinel is great. Tf One Sentinel is great. I hope they both die <3
Also when D16 saw megatronus’s head? Amazing. Both of his hero’s (sentinel and Megatronus) died in that cave, literally and metaphorically. And the fact that this happened in a cave reminds of that one metaphor some dead guy came up with. Basically there’s these prisoners who are forced to stay in a cave and I think they might be tied upside down but one of them is able to leave the cave and discovers that there is more to the world than the cave and that they have also been upside down. When he tried to relay this to his friends they declare him to be a liar. It’s a basic little thing about discovering the truth or whatever I can’t articulate it very well. But that was Megatron’s cave moment. His entire life was a lie. He is existing the cave and he will never be the same. Was TF One actually just refrencing this? Probably not. BUT WAIT! The Cybertronians live underground, so that’s technically a cave. Everyone who is living in the underground city and who don’t go to the surface are in the dark. ITS THE CAVE AGAIN! AT THE END OF THE MOVIE THEY ARE ALL THAT THE SURFACE! THEY ALL LEFT THE CAVE!! I’m loosing my fucking mind if you couldn’t tell. Also the minors go into caves and they very much love sentinel. cave Cave CAVE
Starscream is really cool. We haven’t seen enough of him to get a gage on his morality or how big of a traitor he’ll be, but what’s been shown is really great. His motivations for challenging and goading D16 are unclear. Like he might be a masochist but probably not. Maybe he wants him to be the new leader. I wished that we saw more of screamer but what we got was pretty great. And I hope he gets to play a more major role in future movies. As well as soundwave and shockwave because although shockwave was really funny they unfortunately didn’t get to do much.
This version of Elita kicks ass. Scarlett Johansson does an excellent job of voicing her. Although it would have been funny if she voiced Arachnid. But she’s so cool and also funny. I loved when she told Orion that she was better than him at everything but having optimism. Her ripping off Arachnid’s leg and using it to beat her was fucking awesome. ‘I’m being gentle!’ I love her so much she’s so funny. Her anger towards being demoted motivating her to go along with the three idiots was good. I want to see more of her in general and I want to see how her dynamic with Optimus will change in the next movie. Like ‘next movie’ might not happen but I’m really hoping that it does. But even if it doesn’t the film is still amazing.
Chris Hemsworth does a great job voicing Optimus. I was really surprised and impressed. Like low key I was sort of expecting this to be a Chris Pratt Mario situation when I first heard he would be OP’s VA because I only knew him from the Marvel movies. But he does a great job. Bryan Tyree Henry does an excellent job voicing D16/Megatron. Like he might be my favorite Megatron voice. Like I love Scottish Megatron but this voice is soooo good. Every voice actor does a phenomenal job.
The animation is amazing. I love the backgrounds and the bridges that just appear. The surface of cybertron is so pretty and I love the general aesthetic. The fight scenes are so well done. They utilize transformations in the fight (like Optimus retracting his head like a turtle to dodge attacks) and that’s super cool! The facial expressions are also really good. When Optimus is telling Megatron to leave he looks so sad and it looks so real. These characters are all really expressive, including the background ones. Like I’ve seen a lot of redraws of Jazz looking at his wings and being all happy. Each background character looks unique and there are a lot of cameos and it was so much fun to look at them. A lot of love and effort was clearly put into this movie and it really shows. The eyes are so pretty, the backgrounds are so pretty, the characters become so shiny.
It’s a great movie and I think everyone should go watch it. I need this film to get a sequel.

"*scoffs* "There's no propoganda in Transformers One, what are you talking about? It's not that deep! Megatron is totally a villain; he's not justified in any way for killing Sentinel, and it fact it's bad that he killed him. TFOne has no propoganda in it at all except as toy advertisement!"
The "unjustified villain" in question, in one of his evilest moments after he's gone "fully evil" according to this "propoganda-free movie" :
[ID: A screenshot from Transformers One, showing Megatron standing on an arch over a cheering crowd of hundreds of bots, both of his arms raised in the air as the people gleefully cheer him on, shouting "Rise up!" to the crowd of formely-enslaved workers. End ID]
If you think a movie that is literally doing textbook propaganda "can't possibly have propaganda in it because its for kids" ..... idk what to tell you except that's not how that works, and is, in fact, how propaganda itself works.
If you can acknowledge the deep-seated problem with Marvel movies and shows having their villain be "People who want to make the world a better place and do so with Clear Leftist Politics like Inclusivity, Diversity, and Mutual Aid like Arthur Harrow in Moon Knight with his Walkable Neighborhood, Safe Space and Vegan-Friendly Multicultural food nights.... and he also Wants To Kill Babies and Little Old Ladies",
but you refuse to see this level of propaganda when its staring you in the face and shouting in your face what the message is??
Like, why are you even trying to argue with anyone if you can see the message in the movie but still deny and complain that people are going to be on Megatron's side because Orion is trying to maintain the status quo and that the movie is upholding the divine right of kings? When that's literally what it's doing?
Like, it's perfectly fine for Orion and Bumblebee to go around violently slaughtering guards, because just like in Marvel, the little guys don't matter, you can throw those grunts out of five story buildings or slam them through concrete walls all you want, or chop them in half and stab them through the head with a knife-hand on screen as long as you're framed as being either cool or silly and excitable while doing it:
no one will bat an eye and will in fact find you slicing someone in half vertically amusing and light hearted!
but if someone wants to kill the Big Bad Himself?
The literal Baby-Maimer In Chief ?
Oh, no, suddenly, you can't do that!
That's what villains do! Only evil, corrupt, power-hungry people go after the literal fascist dictator who's kept everyone as slaves for their entire lives! /sarcasm
Megatron is one of the only characters in this film voiced by a Black person. He is an enslaved worker finding out the truth and leading a rebellion against a fascist dictator, and when he successfully kills that dictator (despite the best efforts of his so-called friends), and when he wants to tear down the monuments to this Fascist Dictator Baby Maimer in Chief, he's described as "wanting to kill everyone".
Like. Okay. So Bumblebee can go around deliberately terrorizing people and destroying important infrastructure for funsies because he's on a power trip from killing half a dozen guards,
but the second Megatron, who has just killed the Slaver Baby Maimer In Chief wants to destroy the monuments to that fascist?
Oh, suddenly, this is horrifying and destorying the city and 'going to kill everyone!'
As though this is not a clear and direct parallel to monuments to racist, slave-owning "war heroes" in the south being torn down by activists, and the framing of such action as being terror attacks and "wanting to destory the city and their heritage" ?
Yeah, Megatron shooting the monument to a fascist dictator causes stuff to fall and make random bystanders flee in terror...... because it has to, because that is part of the propaganda that tearing down monuments to fascists makes you just as bad or worse than the fascists.
Optimus even flat out says the above in the movie:
We were given the power to change our world, and you chose to destroy it. Just like Sentinel
Optimus literally, flat out, explicitly says that Megatron is just as bad as Sentinel Prime, because Megatron
killed the fascist slaver dictator in question in one-on-one combat no less, just minutes after Sentinel got done branding him like a slave
wants to tear down the monuments to said dictator.
Yeah, sure, Megatron shot Optimus........only because Optimus literally jumped in front of the bullet meant for the Literal Fascist Dictator.
If Orion hadn't of done that, and simply let Megatron kill the Literal Fascist Dictator like Orion and Bumblebee were going around killing guards left right and center, they would never have split factions, or caused a ~civil war~ or had The Divine Right Of Kings choose a new Godly Appointed Dictator of the Entire Planet.
They would have simply started a rebellion and succeeded, and could have rebuilt Cybertron together, for all.
Instead, Optimus decided to jump in front of a bullet to save a Fascist.
And we're supposed to see this action as heroic and for the Greater Good, because while it's apparently perfectly fine to go around killing lowly nobodies (nameless guards), it's the Ultimate Evil to kill Fascist Dictators. 🤦
Oh, and for anyone who missed it, everyone was cheering on Megatron for killing Sentinel Prime.
Everyone except for the three protagonists.
The entire enslaved-miner, noble, and working classes of Cybertron was united in their hatred and loathing of Sentinel Prime and were united in their newfound freedom from a fascist dictator...
... except the heroes of the story, who are terrified and dismayed to see their fellow workers cheering
"Rise Up! Rise Up! Rise Up!"
And, of course, our heroes are rewarded for their Hard Work of Stopping A New Evil Dictator by.......
becoming the new Godly Appointed Rulers of the entire planet with no one else having any say whatsoever in this decision:
The people of Cybertron chose Megatron as their leader, for leading them to freedom and killing the man who kept them enslaved and mutilated them before they were even alive.
The Divine Right of Kings said "no", and instead forced them by Divine Will to have a new leader who thinks that, actually, killing fascists is bad when other people do it, and only they themselves are allowed to go around indescriminately slaughtering people they view as dangerous.
Hey. Do you see any real-world parallels in the messaging and all here?
Does "The people choose one thing and a system designed to take choice away from the people takes that choice away from the people" ring any bells?
Does "It's okay for US to go around killing Nameless Evil People Who Are Evil but if you try to go after A Literal Fascist Dictator, you're actually the real terrorist and you're secretly a dictator here" ring any bells??
anyways as a parting shot I'll just leave you this.
Meanwhile, 5 minutes earlier...
*Brutally eviscerates a bunch of guards, laughs about it while joking about brutally killing some more guards, then abandons D-16 to fight Sentinel Prime on his own without a thought*
#tfone spoilers#tf spoilers#no id#long post#transformers one spoilers#transformers one#Hey guys do you think the movie that cost 147 million dollars to make might have some messages baked into it?#Like guys you didn't have to keep Megatron's origin story the same as the comics. This is not a requirement.#Why are you in 2024 making a movie where the villains origin story is that he's a slave fighting for freedom#and is evil for killing a dictator and tearing down monuments to slavers?#oh wait we know the answer

Not sure if this was asked and you can answer it or not but: what would happen if Orion and megatronous met ymir in peaceful timeline?
This is a very interesting case with an actual stake.
Because while Optimus and Megatron in the main Peaceful Timeline don’t have to go back, Orion and Megatronus absolutely need to go back. The war is over for Optimus and Megatron, and they would want to live out their lives in peace protecting the family that they have built. However, Orion and Megatronus have people on Cybertron who need them and are worried about them and their safety making the decision harder to stay protect Ymir.
But let’s get into it.
So Orion and Megatronus would get sent to the AOT world 2,000 years ago. There probably wouldn’t be too many timeline shenanigans needed for everything to line up, since this is there younger years, but Cybertronians do live for a ridiculously long time.
How they get there, probably some shady shit Alpha Trion does. But they end up near the battlefield with Ymir in her Titan form. Orion and Megatronus are obviously trying to figure out what’s going on, but King Fritz spots them and orders Ymir to attack them. Megatronus has to push Orion out the way before engaging Ymir in combat. Meanwhile, Orion thinking that the Eldians are the enemy, tells the Marleyans to run for their lives.
During this debacle, Orion does manage to pick up on Ymir’s crying through her screams of rage. He ends up looking back at the battle to see Ymir attacking erratically while Megatronus is attacking with calculated precision and ease. Orion shouts for Megatronus to not kill Ymir, stating that something is wrong, which catches Megatronus off guard allowing Ymir to land a direct hit against him. Now it’s just her and Orion, and Orion is scrambling for his life, trying to appeal to her while the humans are screaming at them both. Ymir ends up grabbing Orion and tries to squeeze him, earning cheers from the Eldians and strangled cries from Orion.
And as Orion is getting crushed, he still here’s Ymir’s cries and sees tears streaming down her skull of a face. He pleads his case with her, saying he and Megatronus can help her and set her free. Ymir loosens her grip at that but Megatronus fries at her hand, forcing her to drop Orion and for Megatronus to catch him. Megatronus ends up pulling Orion out of the line of attack.
Orion is frantically saying that Ymir is a prisoner and they need to help her, but right now, Megatronus is seeing her as a combatant, especially since she attacked Orion. But Orion keeps insisting he hears her crying and begs for Megatronus to just listen. Megatronus is uncertain of this, what with the chaos going around and the Marleyans fighting the Eldians but he opens his spark and he listens. He does hear Ymir’s cries of pain and fear, and he also hears someone barking orders at her. Megatronus finds the noise and see King Fritz screaming at her to follow his commands. He sees the way Ymir flinches at him, despite her size and her might. Megatron hated how familiar that was. How it reminded him of the slave masters forcing the lower caste to do hard labor with force, or forcing them to fight in the gladiator arena. It angered him.
Megatronus merely leaves Orion and walks over to King Fritz, Ymir tries to attack but Megatronus merely shoots at Ymir’s arm without even looking. He continues walking towards the Eldians, towards Fritz. He notices, and is now afraid. He orders his men to protect him, and they try to, but their weapons merely bounce off of Megatronus and he crushes them through his walk without a second thought. Fritz tries to bark an order to Ymir just as Megatronus is right on top of him, but Orion gets her attention by gently cradling her massive face, requesting that she look away. Ymir listens to those kind hands and that gentle voice as Megatronus lifts his pride and crushes Fritz with it, getting his blood and guts everywhere. He steps on the remains one more time before sliding his pede across the ground, smearing his blood everywhere. The Eldians and even the Marleyans are shaking in fear at such a cold hearted act. Megatronus snaps his helm to the Eldians adorned in blue and says one word to them.
“Run.”
The Eldians scramble, and the Marleyans quickly run after them once they realize that Megatronus wasn’t going to do anything to them. Megatronus spots Orion still dangerously close to Ymir and bolts towards the both of them, grabbing Orion’s shoulder and pulling him back before aiming his blaster directly at her. Orion reasons with Megatronus that she’s no longer a threat. Megatronus challenges that. How is Orion so sure? They then see steam coming out of the back of the neck and see Ymir’s human form stumbling out of it. She ends up slipping and falling down, but Megatronus catches her on reflex. He’s a little bit weirded out at the sight of her, but he feels sympathy once she looks at him with tears in her eyes.
Helos ends up looking back as they chase the Eldians down and see Orion and Megatronus handling Ymir with such care. Orion ends up glancing back at Helos, and tells Megatronus they should go while they were distracted. Megatronus agrees and the two transform and drive off together, taking Ymir with them. (Note: that Megatronus’ previous alt mode before the war was a tank, or at the very least a ground vehicle.)
A few notes:
-The Marleyan take spin includes both Orion and Megatronus. Orion being the god of compassion while Megatronus is the god of war/justice, since he was the one who killed Fritz. Not Helos.
-If Optimus and Megatron have limited knowledge on humans, then oh boy, Orion and Megatronus don’t know jack shit! When Ymir shows signs of bringing pregnant, they dont know what’s happening and Ymir doesn’t have a proper education so of course she doesn’t know how to properly explain. The best she can communicate is that she’s fine and that this is normal.
-Orion and Megatronus decide to take Ymir to refuge in an abandoned Cybertronian ship, since they don’t have holoforms and think that a place that could house all three of them is the better option. Obviously, it’s not comfortable for Ymir. She doesn’t have the proper clothes. She’s cold, she’s experiencing pregnancy pains.
-Also, because they don’t completely understand the importance of disguise, they end up coming across Solveig in their bipedal mode while she’s foraging. She’s surprised at the sight and thinks they are gods.
Orion: We’re not god.
Megatronus: Well-!
Orion: Megatronus!
Orion ends up asking Solveig for assistance and shows Ymir to her, and Solveig immediately gets to work checking up on her and giving her fresh plants that are safe for her to eat.
Solveig: God damn it how did you not know this?! How are you even born?!
Orion: Our souls come out of the ground to inhabit a body!
Solveig:…I take it back, you’re not gods. You’re idiots.
Megatronus: HEY!
Solveig basically take Ymir in and coaches Orion and Megatronus on human anatomy.
-There’s obvious concern between both Orion and Megatronus, considering that they have a revolution to return to. And they have no idea how to take care of Ymir. Honestly, if Solveig didn’t intervene and welcome her into her home, they might have accidentally killed her. Megatronus and Solveig do talk with Orion present, suggesting that she take care of Ymir while the two of them return home. Solveig calmly states it’s a bad idea, but Orion reluctantly lists out the reasons they can’t stay and how they could harm her. Solveig says to run it by Ymir and see her point, so they do, and Ymir immediately panics. She begs them not to leave her. Begs them to stay and that she’ll do anything in her weak and broken voice. She says she’ll help them fight, hearing them talk about their conflicts. She’ll work for them. She’ll do anything! Just don’t go!
Orion is doing his best to comfort her while Megatronus is stunned. They were so terrible at taking care of her but-! Solveig reminds Megatronus that they saved her. That can influence a lot of emotions.
-The village ultimately finds out about Orion and Megatronus and there is some worship.
(Okay that’s all I have for now.)

one of the more random asks but I was thinking what your thoughts on flier oppy would be? like him being a triple changer (is that the term???) or smth
Triple changer? Sure why not. Not sure if you want a story or just some thoughts, so I will give you a random story idea since that seems more in line with your request.
Triple Changer Prime
Orion Pax was not a triple changer, he was solidly a grounder by any and all definitions. He was raised with wheels and did not have an interest in the skies beyond avoiding the seekers and other flight frames that found it to be great fun to dive and poke fun at land locked mecha.
But then the Matrix decided in its infinite wisdom that the mech who had never once taken to the skies needed to have wings. Thus during his ascension to become a Prime, Optimus was forged with a lovely set of wings to go with his wheels. That change ended about as well as one might have expected it to. Simply put, Optimus had no fragging clue what he was doing.
Flight was not something he took to handling with the ease and grace of the ancients. No, his first attempts were messy and reminiscent of a newspark. He had no teachers amongst the Autobots in no small part due to almost every flier having joined the Decepticons. This mean that he was nearly entirely on his own, leading to... interesting attempts to fly. Once he figured out how to transform he quickly found himself shooting off into the skies with force greater than expected. He will never admit it aloud, but he did in fact scream as he failed to find a way to control his flight path. He ended up transforming halfway and tumbling toward the ground trying desperately to slow his fall through the use of his wings and thrusters.
He crashed in spectacular fashion and needed to get several reconstructive repairs done to put everything back where it belonged. After that incident it became abundantly clear that Optimus needed to get an actual flier to teach him or stop flying altogether, a possibility that was largely out of the question for numerous reasons not limited to just the war effort. Optimus's very code demanded he fly at least once a stellar cycle, and thus he did his best to fumble his way through learning.
Without a proper teacher, he was limited in his learning options, and thus he spent a great deal of time watching vehicons and seekers fly and transform. He observed quietly and did his best to mimic them, but quite possibly due to his size, he never quite figured out how to do it properly. He could get into the air easily enough and flying as an armed combat aircraft was not too different from driving if there was nothing in his way. But of course the moment obstacles became an issue Optimus found himself losing control and hastily trying to transform and use his blades to catch himself on something and slow down that way. More than once he had to be retrieved from the top of some skyscraper that he landed on in an attempt to avoid falling to his death.
Optimus panicking and throwing himself into the skies after Megatron a handful of times certainly didn't help. He was not at all proficient in flying, much like fighting while in the air. Most of his close brushes with death came from those incidents. His lack of flight ability couldn't be fixed by the Matrix whose wielders had all but been entirely grounders. It got bad enough that in the end Jazz threw in the towel and went to get Optimus a teacher by the only means he knew. The entirety of Optimus's inner circle very nearly choked on their energon when Jazz turned up to a meeting with a Vehicon bound and dragging along behind him.
Jazz: I got you a teacher!
Ultra Magnus: JAZZ! We do NOT take Decepticons into base-!
Jazz: What? Its just one Vehicon! Besides Op needs someone competent to show him out to use those wings of his.
Prowl: It's still a Vehicon!
Jazz: So what? The little dude will be stuck with Op all cycle long. What's he gonna do? Stab the Prime with his itty bitty claws? I think Prime is strong enough to stop a clone from killing him.
Jazz: Besides, Op has almost died more because of being unable to fly than because of anything else. I think this is a risk worth takin.
Optimus: ... As much as I am loathe to admit it, I do require a teacher. If this Vehicon will suffice, then so be it.
It was not exactly the most friendly of meetings, and Optimus's new teacher was not pleased with his situation much. It was... tense to say the least. For a long while the Vehicon said nothing and gave no wisdom whatsoever. But as with almost all things, Optimus took his time and steadily managed to befriend his new 'teacher'.
While his inner circle were impatient for him to learn, Optimus was in no rush. He took his sweet time slowly getting used to his new teacher, even going so far as to urge the Vehicon to take on a designation as they spoke. Often it was nothing too big, but he would bring his teacher some energon, speak with him on almost every matter that he thought might intrigue the Vehicon, and was not at all opposed to asking for his opinion. With time his captured mentor opened up to him slowly upon finding himself treated like an actual Cybertronian instead of an expendable resource.
In response to his kindness, Optimus found himself receiving simple direction from the Vehicon. When he attempted to practice on his own, his 'teacher' gently offered advice on how to take off that was never repeated but always appreciated. Then he would sometimes find the Vehicon waiting with an energon cube after an attempted flight. Other times his teacher would even join him in the skies, gently nudging him along and easing Optimus's fears through dutiful direction. With time the Vehicon even started to teach Optimus how to work with his newfound codes rather than fight against then, even going so far as to teach the Prime songs to help him focus.
It was a slow development, but the Vehicon proved unwilling to kill Optimus and thus ended up losing the shock collar on his neck. His Decepticon insignia was scrubbed and his bindings removed and was allowed to roam as he pleased so long as he came when Optimus called. This was generally allowed to be since none wanted to touch what Optimus had interest in. The Vehicon took great joy in abusing his powers as the Prime's favored companion. Often he would strut around like he owned the place and make a show of not having to go off to fight. He was hated by most of the Autobots, but around Optimus he was perfectly reasonable and taught the Prime kindly.
Jazz grew to regret his decision to bring the former Decepticon back deeply when the Vehicon in question took Jazz's spot on Optimus's desk. There was not a fragging thing he could do about it and both Jazz and the Vehicon knew it. By the time Optimus was capable of flight and fighting while doing so, the Vehicon was no longer needed. But by that point he and Optimus were close enough that there was no getting rid of the former Decepticon, especially after he took to the skies to aid Optimus in a battle when he saw it getting dire. The Vehicon could have left during that battle, but he did not, and thus earned the begrudging acceptance of most of the Autobot troops.
Optimus learned to fly, and in return one Vehicon was forced to be amongst Autobots and isn't even upset about it. When Optimus left for Earth, the Vehicon even decided to come along. Thus out of a team of elite Autobots, one singular Vehicon hung around happily and never raised a digit for anyone except for Optimus.

Megatron and his servo
The door slid shut behind Megatron, his quarters quiet and empty as always (but they weren't like that not long ago, he remembered with a twist of the mouth); his frame was hot and charged up despite the time it took to:
Return to Nemesis,
Get told off by Soundwave (it was an interesting thing, to be told of with no words),
Subsequently to be told off by Knock Out that he needed to leave the injured hand to heal or it would require an entire replacement next time.
He was so dazed by the fight earlier, he just nodded and went out into the corridor from the medbay, on automatic letting his legs carry him back to berth. The vehicons he passed in the way scrambled to not cross paths with him, but the warlord didn't really care about them.
No, he had more pressing matters on his mind.
Taking a look at his freshly repaired arm, he noted with humor that at least it was not the servo he needed tonight anyways.
With a practiced ease that spoke of the pathetic disposition he was finding himself way too often these days, the silver mech locked the door, put the music on loud and shut off his own audio input. In case of emergency, Soundwave would shoot him a direct comm anyways.
The music was not for his benefit, after all.
As the silence filled his mind, Megatron allowed himself a shudder as his extensive (not extensive enough, whispered his greedy spark) collection of material on Orion-Optimus started taking its place, feeding his newly rediscovered needs like a mech starved.
'My, pet, you are positively begging to be touched, aren't you?' Optimus's voice seemed to drown him, as the silver frame settled itself down on the floor, knees spread, servos held behind his back in a looser grip than he usually preferred, but the medic's warning was enough to keep him from pushing it.
He sighed softly, chasing the memories of the way Orion would look at him, teasing him with the softest strokes, as the latest battle took hold and reminded just how much he enjoyed the digits on his throat.
It was enough to cause his charge to grow at once, as he desperately held the self-imposed position; he was even facing the chair the blue and red mech took as his during the stay at Nemesis, from the first time they fell into the familiar dynamic.
Megatron both rejoiced and cursed that moment, as it had changed something between them irrevocably- he had no clue precisely why, but the recent losses they were suffering were telling enough.
They have gotten under each other's plating and Megatron was obviously losing control. He expected Soundwave to lose patience with his behavior any day now.
He grimaced, as he felt his frame shiver at the notion of losing control, of letting Orion take care of him, to make him break apart and be rebuilt over and over again in the most agonizingly pleasurable way there could be.
He could feel his valve clench as lubricant started falling on the floor through the seams, but he kept the cover in place.
There were rules to be followed, even when he was alone.
'Beautiful, my sweet, so obedient for me, thank you for waiting for the commands,' cooed the imaginary Prime, as Megatron could feel himself tremble at the praise; discovering that he liked it made Orion smile so nicely, as he explained one day that it also was something he loved to indulge in.
"What a complementary pair we make, Megatron," the mech said once over Energon, and the silver tyrant couldn't help but agree.
Yet now, ex-vents coming out loud, Megatron could only think about the voice in his helm, which chuckled and finally prompted him to move, but still kept the panels closed.
'I want you to take your time and show me where you would like to be touched,' caused the silver servos to move from behind to the front, as Megatron started to stroke his frame, before he arrived at the throat, neck cables just inches away from his wandering digits.
It was the spot Optimus bit him earlier that day.
Touching on the tingling part of his throat, he suddenly wanted to know if the bite was still visible - Knock Out took a look but did not repair it, so most likely it was not threatening and would be taken care of by his own self repair.
He pressed, hissing, as the motion flared with numb pain, which made his spark throb.
He needed to see it badly.
His imagination fed him another memory, the impression of Orion smiling, walking over to the berth and motioning for Megatron to join him, as it offered an undisturbed view of the mirror in the private washracks.
The silver mech knew better than to rise up, instead crawling hastily and setting himself down, pedes spread so his reflection would show the entirety of the heaving frame between them, servos flat on the floor.
'I can see just how desperate you are - if you keep it up I might even let you overload today, despite your prior behavior,' teased the Prime’s voice, as he fought hard to keep his panels closed and optics down; he did not miss the echo of shame that ran through him on the battlefield about not yielding when Optimus threatened to feel disappointed by him.
He did not want to disappoint Orion. He was good and will keep on being good if it meant he could stay in this dazed state longer.
'Now, pet, I want you to open your panels,' instructed him the warm voice he could listen to forever, as his panels slid open and lubricant gushed out of his needy valve, spike pressurized and aching to be touched.
'Look at yourself as you get your valve prepared for me - tell me when you get close to overloading,' ordered the specter of his memories, as Megatron turned his gaze and locked sights with the reflection and allowed his optics to take in the mark on his neck cables as one of his servos went up and wrapped itself right below it.
His other servo was already in motion, working the sensitive mesh open, rocking onto the digits; he did not think it would take long for him to reach the edge, but when he tightened the hold on his neck and brushed his digit against the anterior node, he was hit with a jolt of pleasure that got him immediately there, and he gasped out:
"I am close, so close, please," came the begging, so much faster than expected. He faintly blamed the forward actions of the Prime for driving him insane with the damned bite, but that thought left quickly as he continued the ministrations on his leaking valve.
He knew at this point he could probably take some of the largest toys hiding in the closet, but it was too far from him now - and, more importantly, there was no command that specified that anything but his digits were allowed this time.
'That was quick, even for you - but then, I knew the bite would do the trick… or was it the talk about a collar, perhaps?' came the question, as Megatron's servo stuttered in its rhythm, nearly bringing him over the edge.
He wished to reply, but all that left his mouth was just a low keen, words escaping his frayed focus and leaving him bare to the wants of his greedy frame. At this point he would agree to whatever the other would demand, if only he would be granted release.
Yet, as Megatron looked towards the mirror, he could not stop feeling a rush of humiliation at the sight; spike neglected, valve leaking so much lubricant it made a considerable pool on the floor, neck cables held tightly and squeezed to the point of pain whenever he would feel himself get dangerously close, until the charge would die down again just enough to escape the temptation.
And he would start again, because he was not told to stop.
The digits were avoiding his node now, as he knew just a brush would make him overload hard.
He would not do this without permission.
There were rules to be followed.
The rules were important.
He could hold it off for longer.
A hum sounded in his audials, as a curt 'optics up front' made him realize he was looking anywhere but the reflection as he was wrestling with the need to obey and the whispers of his frame.
He burned, and the assault on his valve did not stop as he turned to pleading for permission to overload; seeing the desperation in the mirror only made him glitch up.
Such a wanton display…
'Now, pet, we both know who you need to ask if you want to overload,' reminded him the voice, as he briefly wondered if maybe he could break the invisible hold Orion had on him; it's not like he would know what Megatron was doing right now, and what he wouldn't know wouldn't hurt him.
The warlord shook his helm, disappointed at even entertaining this idea.
He would not fail.
As he opened his comm list, he made sure to pick the adequate encrypted frequency - Optimus told him he would not revoke the access again unless he abused his openness, with a threat of terminating their games once and for all.
He could feel the heady state overtake him, as he dialed for Prime to pick up - the Autobot leader usually did not leave him hanging, and more often than not, his release would come very soon after they connected on the line.
The call dropped.
He sobbed, as he tried again and again, to no avail. With the last dregs of thought, he realized the Nemesis was jamming communications both ways.
Soundwave.
It must be his way of punishing him for today's loss. Apparently, the TIC's patience has finally ran out.
The elation he felt at the idea of finally being allowed to overload got replaced by the icy chill of shame that made him feel like he was torn apart at the seams; the wetness of his valve felt wrong, but he still could not stop moving his digits.
He wondered briefly if he was too far gone to ever come back to his life before the Optimus-As-Orion incident.
A sympathetic whisper of 'poor thing, you know what is left to do, come on, maybe next time you will get to overload,' made him openly weep, as he withdrew his digits and pushed himself up, shakily going under the solvent in the washracks, set to the coldest setting.
As the steam lifted from his burning frame, he rested his helm against the wall, charge gradually dropping to the buzz he started associating with just being awake.
Megatron nearly stepped back into the lubricant on the floor, as he felt at once nauseous at the sight and the throb his tired valve gave at the reminder of what he just did. Grabbing a rag, he began to clear it away, noticing to his dismay that the charge was building up again, fuelled by his own sense of humiliation.
It would seem he will need to stay under the cold solvent for a much longer time than expected…
*****
Fowler frowned at his phone, as he fiddled a bit and checked if maybe his WiFi had disconnected.
No, full bars.
Frustrated, he turned to address Ratchet working on the side, grumbling to himself.
"Are we being jammed? Or jamming the Nemesis?" Fowler asked, trying to discern the possible reason why the vehicon group chat stopped updating mid-rant.
The medic looked at him puzzled.
"No, I don't think so," he replied, going back to doing the inventory, while in the background Optimus stilled his console repair. He looked pensive, but something must have clicked as he relaxed and chuckled to himself, getting back to work.
The Prime even began humming a soft melody as he was mending the pieces he tore off himself because of…
The agent's eyes opened wide when the dots connected:
The group chat has just remarked on loud music picking up.
The incident earlier that day on the battlefield.
Optimus's air of satisfaction as he mended the mangled parts of the console.
Fowler rolled his eyes hard, and asked himself for the fifteenth time that week as to why he even felt surprised anymore.

Tf one spoiler time lol
Score 10/10. While I can make a few comments and critiques, I don't even want to because it overall was just so GOOD. The animation was vibrant and fluid and so full of life! The character designs have consistency between them but ALSO are distinct enough I was pointing and calling out names the entire time! They pulled SO many lore elements together to create clear worldbuilding and a story that keeps so much of the established lore while also feeling fresh and not played out. I respect the fact they kept their names Orion and D16 through the entire thing so much. I was SO excited to see that prime was the bad influence in their relationship lol. Optimus was like. Oh my god. Giving Optimus prime a personality??? That's crazy! They always forget to do that!
They really took a ton of lore elements and stacked them carefully together to pick and choose the world this story is set in specifically. I am so happy to see the Primus myth be that he turned into the planet cybertron. Chefs kiss. Perfect. love that one. I'm surprised they ran with the thirteen primes mythos and didn't have megatronus as the traitor! Good. I think it's a good thing that he wasn't Evil. Also, I generally say that once it's happened in three different continuities it's a character trait so I'm glad we can all just agree now that sentinel prime is the prime is a dirty rotten traitor. Also it's cool that he's blue. In my head he's always been blue tbh. He has blue vibes.
I'm glad elita made it into the main cast over Arcee and it's wild but great that arachnid got to be here??? And I think I even saw greenlight? But I'm surprised they didn't take the opportunity to put more female bots in the background. They didn't have to talk or even be specific characters. But also maybe there were but they just didn't have "feminine" shapes so I didn't notice. I was constantly looking at background characters but I was also trying not to lol. Focus on the story Nate!!! You can look at background characters later! But it was awesome to see slipstream with the seekers. And I think they worked in how starscream could be like in charge of his own guys from prewar but also under Megatron and also kind of like. Can't really kill him or you will lose all his followers. Good position to put him in. He also got to sit on a throne and that's great.
Oh. My. God. The climaxxxx! With Megatron ripping sentinel in half while Optimus falls into the core of Cybertron. Ahhhh it was SO well packed and well choreographed. They did amazing with the entire sequence. Also I LOVE how restrained they were with violence until that point. I hadn't even realized it until then but we hadnt seen any real serious injuries or deaths or proper robogore like up close and personal and fresh until he tears sentinel in half or he shoots Optimus and he loses a whole arm and half his chest. Like. I genuinely had a moment of "oh my god, can they show that with the rating?" Like I forgot that of course they can, he's a robot, but it just amped up the brutality SO hard and SO fast that it was like whiplash. Awesome.
That "I want to KILL him!" From D16 was sooo good it was like there it is boyyysssss. Oh my goooddd and then when he shot op and he's hanging over the edge and he has the moment where he comes back to himself realizing what he has done and how he has changed. And he has a moment to decide who he wants to be, of his own volition, consciously, and he chooses to be Megatron. I'm done saving you!!! Ah!!!!
Screaming into the aether: I LOVE DIVORCE! I LOVE DIVORCE! I LOVE DIVORCE!

Megop week 2023
June 14th, Day 4
Sweet
Something as simple as a snack cake sends Megatron into a trip down memory lane. (unlike my previous stories, this does not follow Transformers Earthspark, or really any canon: I sorta mish-mashed elements of the More Than Meets The Eye comics)
“Stay right here. I’ll be right back!” Waiting. Megatronus was damned to even a slight waiting time, leaning against a building with doors much too small for him to enter through, glaring at any passerby he saw fit. Megatronus was well aware of how afraid most Cybertronians were of him.
Good. He thought to himself. He knew it wasn't healthy. Hell, he was writing to produce the opposite effect, but he couldn't help but be even a bit petty. If civilian frames weren't going to extend the effort to even fake a kind glance, then why should he extend the same courtesy? He was a poor model of a revolutionary. Megatronus did not have to dwell too well on the subject as he heard an overhead chime from a door opening, a red and blue bot joining by his side once more with two small energon treats in his servos. “Here!” The archivist spoke, handing a treat to Megatronus. H examined it carefully, sniffing it the slightest, and becoming near overwhelmed by the smell. “You bought . . . snack cakes?” Orion chuckled for a moment, already taking a bite of his own. “Of course! I figured it would be a nice little thing for us to share.” He spoke, between muffled bites, and swallowed down a piece. “Go on, try it!” Megatronus was hesitant, to speak up. “I, uh, Im not much of a sweets person.” Orion couldn't help but roll his eyes. “Please? Just one cake. Besides it may have uh, cost me 10 shanix.” His voice trailed off as he took another bite. Megatronus stared incredulously. 10 shanix for such a little thing?! Now he had to try it, if not for his own enjoyment, to just know Orion hadn't wasted his money. Megatronus took a sizeable bite out of the soft snack cake. He at first, enjoyed the first few moments until the taste became just a bit too much for him. He covered his mouth, blinking a few times as he began coughing. “Primus–?!” He said between coughs. Orion tilted his head, speaking lightly. “Too sweet?” Megatronus swallowed down the horrid mess in his mouth before he answered with a sickly nod. “Impossibly so.”
Orion couldn't help but chuckle. “Oh, I’m sorry . . .” he was quickly over his need to apologize, leaning just a bit closer. Megatronus could pick up very well what that meant, already handing the terrible little treat to Orion. “Here,” He mumbled out, trying not to focus on the taste still lingering in his mouth. A few moments quiet, and Megatronus spoke again. “I do appreciate it, Orion, fraid I just don't have the taste for it. Thank you.”
Orion swallowed down the rest of Megatronus's treat as he answered. “You're welcome Megatronus. I guess, sometimes I worry about you. About what . . . we’re doing.” He admitted quietly, a small sad smile crossing Megatronus' face as he continued. “I hope, little moments like this trick me into thinking we’ll be okay.” Megatrous inched just a bit closer to the archivist. “I would say so. I promise you Orion, there’s nothing to worry about.” He squinted, kneeling down and rubbing a servo carefully against the corner of Orion’s lips. “Mm, still have a bit right here.” Even when it was all cleaned away from Orion’s lips, he couldn't help but stay there, leaning his helm against Orions, just staring into those beautiful blue optics. “I love you, Orion.” He spoke quietly. Orion responded naturally. “I love you too, Megatronus.” Megatronus leaned in to share a kiss with his beloved, only for his optics to shoot open and lean away as fast as he could. Orion laughed happily, seeing as Megatronus was only reacting to the lingering taste of the sickly sweet snack cakes.
—
Megatron hadn't known peace in a long time. Taking what little forces he had, ravaging an abandoned Iacon on Cybetron’s now devastated land. To think, centuries before he walked these same hallowed streets, a different mech. He took a rest on an old broken-down bench, just looking over. Ashened winds blowing, fires started just for some kind of semblance of warmth for the survivors. His sore red optics closed, body ached badly, having not sat to rest in forever.
It wasn't till he heard a small, “Ahem!” When he opened his eyes, met with a familiar black and purple seeker jet. “What is it, Skywarp?” His voice came out rough, and tired. The seeker held out a small bag jiggling it slightly. “It’s for you!” I found it at some old broken-up bakery.”
Megatronus only glared, raising an optic ridge. “Do you have any idea how old or rotted over this may be with all its preservatives?”
Skywarps’ smile faded, wings going up ad down ever so slightly. “Well uh,” “Just go,” Megatron interrupted, sending the seeker on his way. Skywarp nodded, taking flight to find whatever else he could before they’d leave the barren city.
Megatron opened the tearing bag carefully, pulling out its contents. He almost felt his intake drop holding such a small snack cake. Despite his own negativity, it looked perfectly preserved. It had to be, for whatever was in it.
Something in him grew profoundly sad, staring at the energon snack. Optics tired and focused, didn't hesitate this time to take a bite. He swallowed quietly, grimacing. It tastes just as terrible as all those years ago. Absolutely chockful of sugary preserves and a texture equivalent to soft sand. And yet, he continued to eat the cake, he hadn't even realized the tears trailing down as he ate. Something so small, and truthfully, so awful to eat seemed to break down so many things in his system. Reminiscing just what these roads once were.
How many times had he sat here on this bench with him? How many times had he managed to get Megatron to eat a snack cake with him? How many times had Megatron walked down these roads, hand in hand with him?
With Orion. Orion, who loved these cakes, as a little reminder that no matter how bad things got, he and Megatron would be alright, safe together.
How wrong his Orion was.
Megatron finished the snack soon enough, only now going to touch and wipe away the tears. He found himself pathetically chuckling. “Still . . . still disgusting, Orion.” He sniffled, crumbling the bag and tossing it to the ground. All he could do now until his trine returned to him was sit in silence and reminisce.

More Transformers Dudes + Flowers
IDW Optimus Prime - Passiflora sp. (Passionflower)
the Passiflora genus has long standing (very flawed, very colonialist) ties with faith and sacrifice and the submission to duty that comes with (religious) leadership. It fits almost perfectly with the way Optimus was manipulated and forced into a position of leadership that hurt and continues to hurt him, and the way that he developed a savior complex to cope with and justify it. The way he continually puts faith (in himself, in his friends, in his morals) on a pedestal. I have a lot of thoughts about idw op. (Pictured: Passiflora incarnata)
IDW Orion Pax - Iris spuria (Blue iris)
I also thought about blue iris, Iris spuria, to represent Orion Pax before he got the matrix. As much as i hate that they made him a cop i think the eloquence and good intentions that define him are really well represented in these comics. The ease of hybridization and mutation that I. spuria is known for in garden circles also kinda darkly parallels how easy it was for Shockwave and Prowl (and later Megatron) to manipulate Orion for their own purposes.
IDW Megatron - Asphodelus albus (white Asphodel)
If there's one thing that defines Megatron in the later IDW comics (mtmte/LL especially), it's a profound sense of regret. Harkening back to the (victorian interpretation of) greek myth, the fields of asphodel were a place in hades where souls who didn't make it to the fields of elysium went to live after death, and in later years, the Asphodel came to be associated with remorse and mourning. It's remorse and fear of regress that drives megatron's actions through a lot of these comics, and the parallel there is just too good to pass up.
G1 Megatron - Urtica diocia (Stinging nettle)
g1 megs is a delightfully two-dimensional villain in the cartoon, and his personality can be easily distilled into a few traits; cruel, forceful, and rash. What else to represent him but Urtica diocia? Its prickly exterior aside, U. diocia is actually one of the more nutritious plants out there, and with some quick blanching, it's commonly used in stews, teas, and salads.
I'm tired so I'm going to leave off here but I'll continue with other characters soon :) Feel free to shoot me a character request for these!

Trauma pairing: the stonewall vs the chase.
(Yes this is another tfp Megatron & Optimus thing, but with a little bit of ratchet on the side this time. let's move on.)
So stonewalling is mostly unintentional, it's: going quiet, avoiding eye contact, being emotionally unresponsive and avoidant, and just generally not participating socially. It's caused by being overwhelmed and withdrawing due to conflict or emotions themselves. The most common example is with children when they get embarrassed or are in trouble.
And tfp Optimus does this all the time. There's a very limited window where he can express himself or his own feelings, and he really hates conflict. It's a coping mechanism.
It's not a manipulation tactic, such as the silent treatment which is intended to reject or punish someone, but it can be perceived that way. Optimus is actually pretty careful with leading his team to not fall into silent treatment, but it's still something his team has just gotten used to, leaving newcomers, like Jack, to flounder with until someone else comes to explain it.
"Um, Optimus. Want to see something funny?"
"No."
There's probably a lot of reasons why Optimus is this way, war aside, it's likely been his coping mechanism for a while, since in the Orion pax episode he buries himself in work first, then processes his feelings and thinks later. In the book Exodus, Orion goes to see Alpha trion a lot as his mentor. There's not a lot of emotional support between the two, and Alpha Trion greets him by asking why he's disturbing his work. He sees no problem showing Orion the immediate aftermath of a murder or dozen, and later directly tells him he's being too emotional.
In the titan comics, actions done based on emotion, such as not shooting an enemy in the back while they are only trying to rescue their comrades, get him reprimanded and a hearing called.
So Optimus retreats into his own head to be the voice of reason and not experience how things might be affecting him. He represses everything.
The few times he does emote in tfp are completely one sided, screaming after the loss of the omega keys, and winking at the camera after demonstrating the power of the Star Sabre.
In rescue bots he does show fleeting glimpses of a desire to socialise and get along with others. "What's shakin bacon?" "Nothing much, double-dutch." But that's interspersed with a complete inability to handle those emotions to the point he can't bring himself to answer their phone calls.
*Meanwhile*
This antagonises Megatron who works as the chase, pushing to try and get a response, be it an emotional outburst or not. Sudden silence can definitely feel intentional and Megatron has always had an issue with thinking Optimus doesn't react with enough sympathy or empathy to the lower castes. Optimus also had the habit of falling silent when he was disagreeing or overwhelmed by a conversation, leaving Megatron to explain a concept until Orion "understood" it. As Megatron becomes less of a mentor he doubs Orion because he doesn't really express his own thoughts, leaving Megatron to challenge and push him until Orion admits to having opinions of his own.
This sets off Megatron's tendencies to be hypervigilent and read into everything, making him very defensive until Orion finally says something.
This need to read emotions and react according to them is a defense mechanism. Kaon is full of poverty; leading to criminal activity, drug use, and exploitation. Megatron has lived a life where reading the mood of someone is a key element to survival, either from bosses, "friends", roomates, or strangers. If everybody is quiet and tense, you better figure out why before you step on the landmine. Nobody is beyond suspicion and everyone is out for themselves.
He manages this tendency enough to trust Orion until the council meeting. Then as Orion expresses himself Megatron realises that his image of Orion doesn't match reality, and that Orion had been (through omission) "lying" to him the entire time.
Thus it cements Megatron's need to push Optimus until he gets an emotional response, because that's the only thing he can trust in, his own ability to read people. The less Optimus emotes, the more danger he poses. Megatron is full of contempt towards him but also anxiety.
Ratchet is also a bit of a chase, but instead of anger, Ratchet is left with worry, unsure how to help and potentially full of guilt. Very rarely does this bubble to the surface and cause conflict. Because Optimus doesn't share his thought process Ratchet is left frustrated and finally snaps at Optimus in Thirst. Ratchet does the most in cleaning up after Optimus's emotional misteps, and is the one who least wants to rock the boat. He understands the need to wait for a response, but still finds those responses unsatisfying because they lack any emotional comfort.
This worry and guilt is easy prey for Megatron, who can provide the emotional comfort Ratchet seeks, not offering any reason to trust him because there is no way to create that feeling, but instead relying on the hope, joy, and potential relief a repaired cybertron- and thus working to make the cybermatter to do so- could bring. But as both are emotional reaction seeking creatures, they understand the uncertainty in the situation and read the mistrust plain as day. As they don't see trust in the other person, they themselves are unable to trust.

Cursed Bond
Chapter 19
---------------
After a couple of days passed, Arcee finally started waking up. She winced when she felt pain shooting through her aching body, "Ugh, blasted Starscream."
"You're lucky he missed your spark," Knock Out spoke as he checked her over to make sure everything was functioning properly.
"Is Starscream still here?"
"No, he left the ship when Megatron brought you here."
"Figures, he's a sneaky bastard."
"Yeah. Hopefully, the next second-in-command will be better," Knock Out smirked.
"Who's the next second-in-command?"
"Airachnid, sadly."
Arcee rolled her optics, "She's no better. The sooner I can get off the ship and back to my team the better. Airachnid will most likely use her new role to try even harder to kill me off."
"Not if you stay close to Megatron. Besides, I don't think she'll even try anything for a while," Knock Out said as he looked at her.
"Yeah, Megatron got her too scared for the moment, but eventually the fear will wear off and she'll try again."
Arcee was right and she was lucky that Soundwave was by her side, but neither he nor Megatron could be with Arcee all the time. She would be safer with the Autobots.
"Airachnid is lucky Lord Megatron didn't give her another beating after the second attempt on your life, I think he forgot with everything that happened with Unicron and all," Breakdown stated.
"Or he figured she got a good enough beating from Soundwave. Either way, he won't let her go unpunished if she tries again."
"How long have I been out?" Arcee asked as she slowly sat up.
"A couple of days."
Venting out a sigh she wondered if she could try to get Optimus off the ship.
"Lay back down, you're still injured," Knock Out told her as the door opened and Megatron came in. Laying back down she looked at Megatron, she could tell something was bothering him.
"You're awake. How are you feeling?" Megatron inquired as he walked up to her.
"I'm alright, thank you. How's Orion?"
"He's doing good."
Arcee nodded and tried to think of a way to get Optimus back to the others.
"When can she come out of Med Bay?" Megatron asked Knock Out.
"I would like for her to stay for a few more days, just to be safe," Knock Out replied. "An explosion like that is serious and she does have a bit of damage, though not life-threatening thankfully," he added.
"Next time I see Starscream I'm gonna tear him apart," Megatron said with a low growl.
"Make sure you save a piece of him for me," Arcee huffed but she had a small smile on her face.
"Will do."
Knock Out smiled, glad that the two were starting to get along.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a couple of days, the Autobots found a Space Bridge they could use to get to Cybertron, thanks to Starscream. They were getting Jack and Wheeljack ready to go, "Alright, we should be all set," Ratchet says as he begins opening up a Ground Bridge to the destination where the 'Cons' Space Bridge is.
"Man, I wish I was going," Miko pouted.
"I wish Jack wasn't going. I just hope he'll be okay," June stated, she was worried about her son going to another planet.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure he gets back home safely," Wheeljack promised, he understood the worry Mrs. Darby had. It was the same thing with Halogen and Arcee. June just nods as she watches her son leave with the 'Bots through the Ground Bridge.
The 'Bots get to the location and take down the Vehicons that were there. Ratchet runs over to the computer and opens up the Space Bridge. Taking a deep breath, Jack looked back before walking through the Space Bridge, Wheeljack close behind him.
"Alright, they're through. Let's keep a look out for any 'Cons that may call in or something, no doubt we'll get a call from them since they won't be hearing from the Vehicons here," Ratchet says as he looks back at the dead Vehicons.
"Got it," Bulkhead replied.
"Ratchet, did Jack and Wheeljack make it through?" Fowler asked over the comm.
"Yes, now all we have to do is wait and keep the Decepticons from coming here," Ratchet replied with a hint of worry.
Fowler looked over to June who had a worried look on her face, "OK," he replied.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jack looked around his new surroundings, he was in awe that he was on Cybertron, "This is incredible."
But Wheeljack looked a bit sad, "Yeah, but this isn't how the planet is supposed to look. It used to look a lot better."
"What was it like before?" Jack asked when he noticed the sad look.
"It was beautiful, buildings were upright, high into the sky. Everything looked nice and shiny, the streets were filled with Cybertronians going wherever they had to go. This planet was so beautiful and so full of life and now it's this, all due to the war."
Jack looked around again, hearing Wheeljack explain this made him remember when Bulkhead told them the story about him and Arcee, "Is there a way to get it back to normal?"
"So far we got no way to restore it, but we're still looking."
Jack nodded and looked around again, "So, where is this key anyway?"
"Just below Kaon," Wheeljack replied before he transformed.
Getting in, Jack sat in silence while Wheeljack drove, watching the dead planet zoom by. He wished Arcee was back with them. Wheeljack was feeling the same. Driving through Cybertron made him think back to when he spent time with Arcee. "We'll get her back, somehow," Jack spoke up after a while, "And Optimus."
"Yes, we will, kid."
After a while, they made it to the location of the key and headed inside. But before they got in they were attacked by an Insecticon who were at the entrance. The Insecticon jumped on Wheeljack and he just rolled and flipped the Insecticon over before tossing him to the side. Jack ran for the nearest cover he could find and watched the fight. "Jack, get in there and get the Matrix!" Wheeljack shouted to him as he held back the Insecticon. With a nod, Jack ran inside the building, he hoped that he wouldn't get lost.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"How are you doing?" Megatron asked Arcee when he entered the Med Bay.
"I'm alright, other than being sore," she replied with a shrug.
"That's good. I have been thinking over stuff and I had thought, if it wasn't for your father inviting me to have Energon with you two as a way of trying to get me on the side of the High Council, we wouldn't have met and I wouldn't have fallen in love with you."
Arcee let out a soft sigh, she missed her father every day, "I guess."
"Bet you miss him a lot."
"I do, every day."
I wonder if she knows. "Did you hear about how he died?"
She closed her optics, still able to remember every detail, "I didn't have to hear how he died!" She spoke with a venomous tone as she opened her optics and glared at the warlord, "I saw what you did to him!"
Megatron's optics widened, "You saw?" She was in the house? How did I not know she was still in the house?
"Yes, I saw," she growled with narrow optics. I may be on the mend but as soon as I'm healed I will take your spark myself.
"Well, he shouldn't have gone back on his word. If he didn't go back on his word you wouldn't be in this situation now."
"Then you shouldn't have attacked the High Council," she countered.
"They were doing wrong on the planet and had the nerve to refuse me the title of Prime."
Arcee turned her helm away so she wouldn't have to look at him, "And look at what happened, Cybertron is gone."
"I'm also sad that we lost our home planet and I want it back just as much as you do, but what's done is done."
Arcee let out an angry sigh, unsure of who she should be mad at. All she really wanted was to be with Wheeljack. Just then, a Vehicon came running in, "My lord, the troops at the sight of the Space Bridge aren't reporting in like they're supposed to. We believe something is wrong."
Megatron looked to Arcee, who refused to look at him, before letting out a sigh, "I'll be right there," he told the Vehicon.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ratchet, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee were waiting for word from Wheeljack when a Ground Bridge opened up and Megatron walked through, "Just as I figured, the Autobots are trying to get their leader back. Well, no matter what you try you won't get him back."
"We need to keep Megatron busy until Jack gets back with the Matrix," Ratchet told the Autobots as he transformed his servo into his scalpel.
"The Matrix? I see. Judging that the Wrecker Wheeljack isn't with you I'd say he's with the kid."
The three remaining Autobots charged, praying they could buy Jack and Wheeljack some time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jack was getting the Matrix when the Insecticon came flying through the passageway. Jack got the idea to send the scraplets at it, which was chowing down on the Matrix loader. The scraplets disposed of the Insecticon and Jack got the Matrix when it was done, he then headed out to meet up with Wheeljack.
Once they meet up the two head back to the Space Bridge, but when Wheeljack calls Ratchet to let him know that they have the Matrix, they don't get a response which concerns Wheeljack. He stops before entering the Space Bridge and Jack gets out so he can transform. "Something's not right."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Arcee got up off the berth in Med Bay. This was her chance to help Optimus get back to the others and be the Prime again.
As she slowly made her way to the archives, Orion was ambushed by the two Vehicons that were guarding him. Orion was blocking their attacks when suddenly his servos transformed into his guns and he fired at them, killing them both. Arcee walks in and Orion looks at her, "I have guns?"
"Yeah," she smiled as she helped him up.
"How are you feeling?" He asked as he got up.
"I'm alright, I'll be even better once we get you off this ship."
"Why do I have guns?" He asked as he followed her to the Ground Bridge control room.
"You had them installed when you became Optimus Prime, to help fight in the war," Arcee explained as she opened the door to the Ground Bridge control room.
"Oh, I see."
Arcee opened up a Ground Bridge to the location of the Space Bridge where everyone was and she and Orion walked through.

I sell the things you need to be I'm the smiling face on your T.V. I'm the cult of personality I’d exploit you, still you’d love me I’ll tell you one and one makes three I'm the cult of personality
An unrepentant, manipulative schemer and a social chameleon with the gift of gab, Stefan Scavarro or ‘Starscream’ as he’s become known in the Decepticon ranks was never meant to rise above his station as a military-commissioned Cold Construct, but through wit, determination, and questionably-underhanded tactics, managed to claw his way up the political ladder and eventually, the Decepticon chain of command.
Most will tell you to never take his words at face value and to listen, and listen carefully, because he’ll tell you first and foremost that he doesn’t stoop so low as to lie to your face—-not outright anyway, no.
Despite all this, it would surprise people to find that everything he did to tear his way out of the box society had set for him, and behind every whispered threat, is the genuine desire to do good for those under his jurisdiction and to make a better world than the one that created him.
He just knows from first-hand experience that not everyone has the privilege to do that from a position of playing by the rules and keeping their hands clean—-If the deck is stacked against you, you’d bloody your hands by breaking the legs of the ones doing the stacking.
It’s complicated, he’s complicated, is what he’d say, and he’d leave it at that.
(More under cut)
Stefan started out his life as a Cold Construct made for the Italian Air Force and was raised from childhood at a military academy. Here, he was trained to be a government asset—-taught to shoot, to fight, to fly in jet simulations.
It was a cutthroat environment, with young Cold Constructs who didn’t preform to expectations being pulled out of the academy to be ‘conditioned’, and his fear of seeing what they became when they came back—-emotionless, monotonous machines—pushed him to excel in what he did beyond his handlers’ expectations.
He learned to ignore pain and abuse as much as he could—-he would heal they said, and they were right; he healed faster than anyone else, and he prided himself in it. He learned to read people to know who he had an ally in or who could be easily manipulated for him to benefit from—-everyone here was either someone he could use or a rival and he was hell-bent, in knowing that Cold Constructs like him were often expected to die on the field, on getting through this ordeal in one piece.
Despite all this, he still couldn’t break away from the military chains until he found out that class exemptions existed as ‘gifts’ for those in the lower classes who rendered exemplary services to the government or someone of importance. However he knew that his superior had become too comfortable with his presence at their beck and call to let him go, and so began scheming to buy his freedom.
He took action the next time he was on the field during a skirmish with insurgents at the border, deliberately sabotaging his superior’s intercom prior to taking flight so it would only page to him when they needed help and he laid in wait for them to be cornered by enemy forces. At the most critical point, he swooped in to make the dramatic save and managed to save them when they were shot down. While they were hospitalized for their injuries, he spoke to their wife and children, painting himself as a humble pilot whose only thought was of saving their captain during their skirmish.
As he expected, they became his advocates and combined with his superior’s sense of gratitude, he walked out of the Air Force base a free man at 20.
He enrolled in a night class at a community college, studying political science part-time while working manual jobs in the day time to support his education, and it was in this period that he became involved in unions and working class movements. He felt a powerful sense of solidarity with their struggles and made it his mission to put his knowledge of people and politics to good use, by taking their fight to the Senate.
He decided to run as the district’s younger senator, riding on a wave of grassroots support as a charming, affable man in touch with people with a wining smile, and won enough votes, beating a government-favorite to represent them on the Senate floor. (This remains his the proudest moment in his life for a very long time)
At the Senate however, he faced pushback and classism from the old vanguards who were career politicians taking umbrage with his youth, ‘lowly’ background and lack of polish. Here, he was a fox among wolves for the first time and he truly realized why it was so hard for changes to be made. His first attempt to pass a bill to push for more rights for Cold Constructs failed miserably, but his earnest attempts to fight for a cause no one else would caught the attention of Senator Shockwave, who saw a kindred spirit and decided to take him under their wing.
With Senator Shockwave who was the first true benefactor he’s ever know, he found a noble, caring figure as beautiful inside, he thought, as they were out, and the two of them spent more and more time together doing legal research to introduce reforms and looking for legal loopholes to use to fight for the working class. At this point, he grew to love Shockwave although never admitted it to the man.
When the Decepticon movement began growing and two Senators who were openly supportive of their cause were murdered, which lead to whispers of corruption within the Senate traveling around, he became Senator Shockwave’s trusted confidante and followed then man on the ground as they touched base with ‘Orion Pax’, a former cop now-dockworker who had been running an underground publication spreading Megatron’s samizdat writings ‘Towards Peace’ which was fostering a revolution around the world, and Megatron himself.
He formed a friendship with both and all four men began working together to uncover the depths of the Senate’s corruption, all while staying one step ahead of an increasingly-oppressive Clampdown.
When Megatron began resorting more and more to violence however, Shockwave and Orion Pax began distancing themselves from the man’s rhetoric and Starscream sought to follow them even as he took with him Megatron’s warnings that they had to ‘speak the Senate’s language’.
His uncertainty fired up into rage however when, during a mission which he couldn’t be part of due to his presence being required elsewhere, Shockwave surrendered to government agents to save the lives of Orion Pax and members of Shockwave’s institute.
In that moment he decried Orion Pax as weak and unwilling to do what it took to get the job done (he had made Orion promise prior to the mission that Orion would not leave Shockwave’s side) and went to Megatron’s side, seeking for a way to rescue Shockwave and enact vengeance on the Senate for the full extent of their crimes.
If he was to speak the language of the Senate to the, he would make sure they were floored (in a pool of their own blood) by the time he was done with his soliloquy.
(And then of course, a certain delegate from the Caminus colony came around and made things interesting for him)

If you are still taking requests... I require more TFP!Megs getting slightly possessive ao his special enemy and arguing with IDW!Megs... "This-is-my-Prime-go-get-your-own" kinda thing... Thank you in advance-
Sure thing! This kind of ended up being a sequel to this fic if you want to read it first (but if you don't, it's probably not necessary)
***
When Megatron's counterpart made the decision to disband the Decepticons and join forces with the Autobots, things around the base got pretty tense. The Autobots didn't trust the Decepticons, and likewise the (former) Decepticons didn't trust the Autobots. Arguments broke out frequently, and the few moments of peace were filled with awkward, uncomfortable silence.
Normally, Optimus would take on the "motivational leader" role and bring both groups together with talk about "friendship" "forgiveness" and "loving your fellow sentient beings." And if not Optimus, Megatron would scare off any potential bots from fighting by threatening to rip them limb from limb if they were caught.
In reality, however, both of them spent most of their time locked in their shared habsuite. Whenever the topic of the faction leaders' activities was brought up, the surrounding bots would shudder and quickly change the subject. It seemed to be the one thing both Autobot and Decepticon could agree on; to not acknowledge whatever was going on with those two.
Because of the fact that both leaders were... occupied, running the base fell onto Megatron's shoulders.
"Arcee, Starscream, break it up, right now! Or both of you are spending the night in the brig!"
"Tell her to stop!" Starscream cried, vents going wild from the altercation. "All I asked her was if she and Wheeljack were in a relationship, and then she attacked me!"
"That's not what you said! You asked what Cliffjumper would think about me fragging another bot right after he died, and then called me a piece of shareware!"
Starscream shrugged. "Well, if the pede fits."
Arcee lunged at the Seeker and put her hands around his throat. "You were the one who killed him, you glitch!"
"Both of you, calm down!" Megatron bellowed. "Soundwave, take them to the brig and keep them there until they learn to behave themselves."
Wordlessly, Soundwave nodded and grabbed both of their arms. Luckily, both bots had enough self preservation instincts to not put up a fight.
Megatron sighed, and looked down at his datapad. Inside were a list of incident reports, along with reports about energon rationing, job duties, and various other things. He was in charge again, whether he wanted to be or not, which meant that it was his job to break up the lover bots long enough to go over this all with them.
He walked down to their shared habsuite, and knocked on the door. inside he heard one of them mutter scrap followed by scrambling and rustling. He rolled his optics.
His counterpart opened the door, glaring at him. "What do you want? I'm quite busy."
"Megatron," admonished Optimus from outside his line of sight. "Don't be rude."
"I've just come by to go over reports. Your crew seems to be not taking the new living arrangements very well.
"Well, that's their problem," his counterpart looked back towards Optimus's direction and smirked. "I for one love the Autobot base. Much better view than the Nemesis, I can tell you that."
"Megatron," Optimus said, a hint of embarrassment coming through in his normally stoic voice.
Megatron fought the urge to gag. "That's all well and good, but someone needs to run this crew, and I need to get back to my own universe eventually..."
"He's right, Megatron. We're being irresponsible. Please come in, we can go over the reports together."
Megatron walked into the room, ignoring his counterpart who was shooting daggers at him with his optics.
"Orion," his counterpart whined in a way that did not sound unlike a young human child. "You promised we would try that thing, with your glossa-"
"Megatronus!" Optimus snapped. "That is not appropriate talk around guests! Now, if you're not going to cooperate, go downstairs and socialize with the crew while your counterpart and I go over reports.
He narrowed his optics. "Fine! If you'd rather spend time with him, be my guest! This would not be the first time you've chosen someone else over me, and I doubt it will be the last." The former Decepticon warlord stomped out of the room, leaving Megatron alone with Optimus.
"Don't mind him, he's sensitive." Optimus said. "Still, his behavior is unacceptable, and I'll be having a talk with him once he returns."
Megatron sighed, giving him a tired smile. "It's alright, Optimus, you don't have to explain. I know very well how frustrating I can be at times."
***
It was late at night, and for once the base was silent. Megatron and Optimus made great progress in their meeting, and agreed on a plan to increase energon output as well as boost morale. He walked towards his habsuite, a good kind of tired in his joints that came from a productive day.
"Ah!" he cried out as he tripped over something in the hallway and came crashing to the ground. When he checked to see what it was, he was more than a little surprised to see his counterpart sleeping on the ground outside of his and Optimus's habsuite.
"What are you doing here? You thought you could sneak in at night and steal my sparkmate?"
"What?" Megatron asked, confused. "No, I was trying to go to my own habsuite. Why are you sleeping out here?"
"Thanks to you, Orion kicked me out for the night," his counterpart narrowed his optics. "Don't think I don't know what game you're playing. Your act of wanting to talk about reports and all that nonsense might fool him, but I know better."
"It's not nonsense, it's essential to running the base," Megatron defended. "And either way, why would you not just sleep in a different habsuite if you and Optimus had a fight? We have several empty ones."
"And give him the satisfaction?" His counterpart let out a humorless laugh. "No, I'm staying right here. Either he can let me back in or he can deal with me right here, blocking his path and being a general nuisance."
Megatron rolled his optics, not for the first time today. "You're being incredibly petty, but I suppose I wouldn't expect anything less." He said. "You forget that I have my own Optimus in my own universe, if I wanted to date him so badly. You can be rest assured I have no interest in yours."
"If that's the case, then go back to him and leave us alone!" His counterpart said.
"Stop fragging your boyfriend for two seconds and help me find a way to get back home, and I might just do that!"
At this, his counterpart was silent. "I'll speak with Optimus tomorrow. Perhaps Ratchet or Shockwave might have a few ideas about how to go about making a machine capable of interdimensional travel."
Megatron softened. "Thank you, that's all I wanted since I got here. I shudder to think of the kind of shenanigans Rodimus has gotten up to in my absence." He turned to leave for a moment before he stopped himself.
"Megatron?"
His counterpart looked up in question.
"I hope you know how incredibly lucky you are to have gotten a second chance. Don't waste it."
As he walked back to his habsuite, he felt his counterpart's optics on his back, but heard nothing but silence.

Now im just imagining megatronus working at waffle house and orion pax comes in and it escalates into that "can i get a waffle?" vine. its ON SIGHT from megs.
The Waffle House smackdown would definitely take place at some obscene hour early in the morning, like at four A.M. Ratchet would be there drinking coffee. This would be his introduction to Orion. After the fight Orion would just be outside on the curb with Ratchet. Ratchet would tend to him while scolding him and wondering just who this fight-starting idiot is.
Years from now Optimus and Ratchet will both fondly reminisce over this moment.
"Do you remember when I got stabbed with a bendy straw and you saved me, old friend?"
"I do. :)"
and the rest of the team is just like wtf???
Megatronus would bully his co-workers and establish himself as the alpha of the Waffle House hierarchy. He would become his boss's boss. Everybody would get assigned a Greek letter to show their place in the "hierarchy." Megatronus would, of course, have a bedraggled second-in-command. Maybe even Starscream. He'd try to kill Megatron using the nicest waffle maker.
"only i get to use the nice red waffle-maker. do you understand? do you?" He'd then lift the perfectly-made waffle out of the maker and wave it around in everybody's faces. "DO YOU?"
The Least Favorite Employee of the Day would be forced to use the Waffle Maker of Shame, aka the worst waffle maker in the kitchen. The one with creaky hinges.
The break room would be a miniature Pit of Kaon. Megatronus would also demand that the employees take their lunches at Waffle House--and would inevitably get upset with them when they go to the McDonald's across the street instead. He'd just fling waffles at them as they run across the street.
Or maybe he'd just shoot at them idk
He'd get really upset and jump over the counter whenever Karens come in--or just when anybody asks for extra ketchup packets.
"you want extra ketchup? huh? HUH? FIGHT FOR IT"
Let's just assume that Cybertronian Waffle Houses work the same way real ones do and that they are also used to judge the severity of natural disasters. Megatronus would of course be the one stubborn employee to remain behind as hell breaks loose outside.
And it would be Orion to come save him.
"Megatronus! I know we've had our disagreements--"
"You're A MCBITCH"
"--but I don't want you to die in the hurricane!"
"I am the hurricane!"
Orion pulls him through the takeout window as the Waffle House then gets destroyed by being sucked into the sky.
Megatronus would look up at Orion in awe.
"you were a mcbitch but now you are my mcbrother"
and the storyline of TFP would continue as normal.
#orion pax#megatronus#headcanons#transformers#transformers: prime#anon#ask#why work on ur fic when you could instead write WAFFLE HOUSE fic instead??
