Me too! I think I like the Tabris origin better than Mahariel. I haven't tried Surana yet, but I suspect it's kind of similar to Amell?

Found an old screenshot of my Warden. Been a long time since I played Dragon Age, starting to miss it. But it'll have to wait. I'm going to wish for Veilguard as an Xmas gift, and I'll replay the trilogy before that. I'll start the same day as the release of Veilguard, just to torture myself a little, haha!

My DA Toolset refuses to work, so I can't continue my mission to create a DAI-version of Toni.

But damn, I still love her DA2 version like crazy. And seeing Fenris again .... YUUUM!!! Starting to feel a desire for Dragon Age Trilogy again. Meeting Zevran, Fenris and Cullen, playing those romances.... GAAAHHH!! I miss my little Warden, my funny Champion and brave Inquisitor. I miss Zevran, Fenris, Varric, Dorian, Cullen, Shale, Cole .... Why is it so difficult to choose?! Right now, I'm in a state where I play MELE and Andromeda, but .... why is the life of a gamer so difficult?!

I did something with my characters ^_^ still have some work to do on some of them, but my Warden and my Champion are all done!!!

Tried making them in MidJourney, AI-ify them. I still have Raven and Evelyn left, they need some more photoshopping.

My Warden Megara Surana!!! I might do some more work on her mouth, but this is her for now.

Some Origins tweaking. Having trouble deciding on what hairstyle to use for Awakening. These are "Heaven" and "Nothern Star" from "Hairstyle Day Vol. 2", but I'm still not sure.

Or maybe should I keep her like she is?

I finished playing "Hogwarts: Legacy" yesterday, and HOLY CRAP!!!! The long wait was MORE than worth it!!!

What the creators of this game have done is nothing less than magical. The funny thing is, I spent very little time at Hogwarts. I was mostly running around in the open world. It didn't even take long before I actually FORGOT that it took place in the HP universe, it just became an open-world fantasy RPG.

Not to mention that the theme of it all (SPOILERS!!!!) is about how light can't exist without darkness, and how taking away pain isn't the answer. That we need balance. As someone with bipolar disorder, this topic is very close and important to me, and funny enough: this is the exact theme I have in my own fantasy books haha!

As fantastic as everything was, I spent many of my nearly 80 hours running around in nature and caring for my beasts. It was a bit of therapy to brush, feed and just be around all those wonderful animals. The one looking like a cat in particular. I'm still struggling with the loss of my prince, but I'm slowly getting back on my feet.

Aaaaand of course, I have like so many others, started with mods. Installed them before I even ended up at Hogwarts haha! But not to this extent (though that PT must be hilarious)

Anyway, I was thinking about my character and compared her to the rest of them.

My Shepards: Black hair and green eyes

My Ryder: White hair and green eyes

My Wardens: Black hair and blue eyes (except for my dwarf, she has brown hair and eyes)

My Champion: Black hair and blue eyes

My Inquisitor: Dark, red hair and blue eyes

But one thing that all of them have in common, is that none of them have paler skin. So, I was thinking: Mass Effect and Dragon Age are both Bioware, but Hogwarts: Legacy is not. So, how about the non-Bioware character is different than what I usually make?

Therefore, with awesome mods coming out, I'm re-designing my character for the upcoming playthroughs. And yes, I already have not one, but TWO, tributes in mind for this game haha!!

I'll upload my new character, and link the mods, once I'm happy with her ^_^

Confession: Even though it would be fun to see my Warden in future games, I'm glad it's very unlikely that they will return.

Because as much as we wish things could be done, we need to remember what it takes to make these games. With all the different types of world states, not to mention adding voice actors (each race and both genders in Origins have several options). So just imagine the amount of work and money that would go into just that part alone.

Honestly, it gives me more nostalgia hearing characters talking about my Warden than actually SEEING her, if that makes sense. When getting that letter from HoF in Inquisition, if a romanced Alistair is the Warden and hearing him talk about her, going to Redcliffe and seeing the statue in the Warden's honor ... all of those things just make me smile in a way that seeing Hawke doesn't.

Sure, I looooove that Hawke is in Inquisition, but she still feels like an NPC, not .... mine.

Not to mention the difficulties of getting the HoF to look like themselves with a different engine.

So yes. I'm very happy that the HoF is unlikely to return (not to mention not being the Warden in Inquisition. Imagine having to choose between your HoF and your Hawke.)

Whenever I play with an EF, I make her like Megara. My Surana (canon) and Tabris are the same, but the Mahariel version has this vallaslin.

With all the new mods coming out for Origins, I decided to upgrade my Warden. But, I'm conflicted.

Do I keep her classic? Do I pick a new complexion, but keep her curly hair? Or do I switch it up with a new hairstyle as well?

UPDATE:

So, I decided on a mix.

-The new complexion

-The old skincolor and hair

-When in Awakening, the new hairstyle

The eyes don't look so odd with the slightly lighter skin color like in the classic version, and she still looks like my Megara when using the new complexion with that color as well.

But I do love how she looks with the new hairstyle, so I'll be switching it up during the game, like I do with Ravenya and Evie. I mean, we don't keep our hair 100% the same as time goes on, so why should our characters?

My Warden Surana grows during the game. At first she's restless but a bit naive, then when getting out she's kind of scared, unsure of what to do and make things up as she goes.

Toni isn't really fit to be a leader, she just goes along with the flow, making jokes and hanging out with her friends.

Raven is THE leader of them all.

I have a feeling that if the three of them were to fight together, Surana would be the smart one with ideas, but a bit insecure so she goes to Raven for reassurance. Raven is the leader of them, making decisions and Toni will basically be the one to lift the spirits, giving backup and being kind of a big-sister to Surana.
